Main Event
-The crowd is buzzing as a package is shown on both Sting and the Phenom hyping this clash of the titans, the dream match people have been wanting for over a decade.
-We cut back to the arena where all goes dark and Sting makes an elaborate epic entrance with an introduction theme and then a orchestral cover of it as he enters to a huge roar.
-So too is the roar as a loud *Gong* sounds. The Undertaker has an equally special entrance with an extended intro and then also entering to a new totally classical cover of his theme.
-As the Undertaker makes his way down the aisle we can see that he is wearing special attire for this epic occasion. Lead by Paul Bearer with urn in hand he is dressed in materiel hat and coat with his old school mid 90’s purple gloved and themed attire. The crowd reacts even louder seeing this.
-Finally as the music dies down and Undertaker hands his hat, coat and purple tie to Bearer, Sting removing his leather jacket and handing it to the timekeeper both Howard Finkle and Justin Roberts enter the ring.
-Justin Roberts steps up first. “Ladies and Gentleman this is your Supercard 1 Main Event! Introducing first to my left representing the National Wrestling Alliance: He weighted in this morning at 250 pounds. He was the face of WCW, The Icon, The Stinger. This is Sting!” A loud colossal roar from the crowd with slight boos from the WWF faithful.
-Howard Finkle then steps forward as Roberts steps back “and to my right he represents the World Wrestling Federation: Weighting in at 299 pounds. He is the World Wrestling Federation Champion! The Lord of Darkness, The Phenom. The Undertaker!” Again a louder roar with slight boos from the loyal NWA fans.
-The referee is Earl Hebner who steps between them and then calls from the bell. The match is underway.
-Both men walk slowly out of there corners and meet in the centre of the ring. Cameras flash and the arena buzzes as they stare each other down.
-Jim Ross and Jesse Ventura are your commentary team from this match. “Wow Ross no matter what allegiance you have to either company, whatever happens tonight this is a dream match right here” calls Ventura “it’s like two Greek gods are going to do battle in that ring.” “Well I tell ya I have Goosebumps. The two men who were the heart and soul of their respective companies during the Monday night war are about to go at it here.”
-Both men finally back off and Sting is first to strike bringing up his hand and slapping the Undertaker across the face! The crowd reacts loudly with an “oh!” As Undertaker looks slowly back at him with a slight smile on his face that says “oh it’s going to be like that huh?”
-Undertaker then brings his purple gloved hand up and slaps Sting across the face. Sting turns back with a smile of his own nodding and having a few amused words to the stone face of the Phenom.
-Finally both men lock up with a collar elbow tie up, pushing against each other in a test of strength which the Undertaker obviously wins pushing Sting back slowly towards the mat but Sting is the quicker and perhaps more cunning of the two bring his arm up and hooking one of Taker’s arms, sending him over onto his back on the mat and locking in an arm lock.
-After a few moments Undertaker rolls backward over his own arm and back onto his feet, using the momentum to pull Sting to his feet bring him in and smash in the throat with an uppercut.
-Sting stumbles back towards the ropes holding his neck as the Undertaker coming in and shoots him off the ropes to the other side but Sting is able to counter jumping up and taking Undertaker down with a flying closeline.
-He follows that up by jumping into the air and coming down with a splash but the Undertaker is able to roll out of the way leaving Sting to crash chest and head first into the mat.
-Undertaker coming turning Sting over and applying the dragon sleeper. After a few momentums Sting brings Taker over with a snapmare like move but Undertaker lands on his feet, Sting however stands behind him and hooks him in a rear waist lock. Undertaker however breaks out, turns around and runs forward for a closeline but Sting ducks underneath that and grabs Undertaker taking him down with the one handed bulldog. Quick cover for a quick 2 count.
-Sting does not let up applying a sleeper hold on the mat. Undertaker begins to wilt in the move as Sting applies it harder. Occasionally brings up his arm only for it to fall to the mat. The feint rumble from the crowd gets louder and louder finally erupting in a dueling chant of “Let’s go Taker! Let’s go Sting!”
-Undertaker uses this momentum and manages to power onto his feet, hooking Stings waist with the hold still applied and drops back with a reverse side suplex.
-Taker is first his feet raising him arm for a chokeslam. As Sting stands he comes in bring the arm in around the neck but Sting catches it, pulls Taker in, hooks him around the chest with one arm and drives him face first into the mat. Cover for 2.
-Stinger raises the Undertaker up and drives him back down with a suplex. Another cover and another two.
-Once again half the crowd trying will Taker back into the match starts a deafening dueling chant from the massive crowd.
-Sting picks Taker up and backs him into the corner nailing him with several elbow shots and then heading to the opposite corner as the crowd begins to buzz. He runs forward, jumping up for the stinger splash but NO! Undertaker moves out the way and Sting crashes face first hard into the corner.
-As Sting lies face down on the top turnbuckle Undertaker takes a moment before coming in, lifting Sting up onto the top rope and lifting him off and down with the super reverse suplex. Cover for 1…2…NO!
-Undertaker picks Sting up and drives him down with a scoop slam following that up with a leg drop and then again locks in the dragon sleeper
-Sting is in the hold for a few moments before bringing his legs up and hooking Undertaker’s head, in the head scissors taking him over onto the mat. He then as Taker goes to standing keeping the legs in the vice and hooks Undertaker’s head there. Undertaker drops to his knees trying to push and pull Sting’s legs apart but the Stinger I not letting up. Taker’s sweat drops from his brow as the hold takes it effect. Undertaker decides to improvise dropping himself down, his head down with a hard head but to Sting’s abdomen. Replays confirm it was the abs and not a lower blow which the referee was in position to see and does not comment.
-Both men stand worn down, Sting abusing the top rope to pull himself up and holding his ribs as he turns right into the grasp of the Undertaker who drops him down with the chokeslam. Cover for 1…2…NO!
-Undertake takes a moment to catch his breath before picking Sting up and starting to hammering him with rights and lefts, jabbing away. Perhaps out of instinct Sting brings his arm up and blocks after a couple firing back himself.
-Both men begin to trade punches to loud mixed “Boo! Yay! Boo! Yay!” from the crowd. Finally after a volley Undertaker brings up his leg and boot Sting in the face with the big boot sending him flying over the top rope to the floor.
-Undertaker follows him out and starts beating on him, finally picking him up and driving him down onto the remains of an announce table.
-Taker then rolls into the ring and breaks the refs count, moving over and grabbing Sting by the head but Sting fight back getting a shot in on the Undertaker and driving his face onto the crowd barrier.
-Taker falls back on the crowd barrier as Sting reels back and runs in hitting the Stinger Splash and sending them both crashing through the security barrier and into the screaming crowd who are now going nuts at the move.
-Both men lay on the mat for a moment before Sting grabs Taker and brings him back towards the ring, rolling him in and following. Covering for 1…2…NO!
-Sting picks Taker up and goes for it again, backing him into the corner, hitting the opposite corner and again leaping up in mid run for the Stinger splash but Undertaker counters again, this time ducking down and sending Sting flying over the top rope out onto the floor with a back body drop and taking out a camera man in the process.
-“My god folks this is war!” JR calls as Taker drops to his knees trying to take a moment of recuperation.
-After a moments he goes to the outside and grabs Sting, rolling him into the ring but keeping his head under the bottom rope and walking over and up the ring steps, running the apron and hitting a leg drop.
-Taker then rolls Sting back into the ring and follows him in, grabbing his arm, twisting it and going back for old school but out of nowhere Sting uses the arm to pull Taker in, grab him and send him over and down with a side belly to back suplex. Cover for 1…2…NO!
-Sting stands, out of breath and in pain and he signals the end, climbing the top rope and waiting for Undertaker to stand before flying off with a diving cross body. He hooks the leg and covers for 1….2….NO! Again Undertaker kicks out.
-Sting slams the mat and picks Undertaker up, backing him into the corner and then climbing to the second rope nailing Taker with 1 shot, 2, 3, the crowd count along, 4, 5,6,7,8. Suddenly Undertakers hands reach up and he grabs Sting, walking forward with him in the powerbomb position but Sting rolls down Undertaker’s back, hooking him for 1…2…NO!
-Both men get to their feet and come at other again and Sting reacts first taking Undertaker’s head off with a closeline.
-Sting then heads to the top rope again, waiting for Taker to stand and again flies off with the cross body but this time Undertaker reaches up and catches him out of the air, turning over with the momentum and driving him down with the capture power slam. Cover for 1…2…NO!
-Undertaker stands very out of breath as he picks Sting up and hits the side walk slam. Following up with another cover for 1…2…NO!
-Taker picks Sting up again and places him on his shoulder, walking forward and driving his face into the corner with snake eyes.
-He follows up as always by hitting the far ropes, running in but no Sting jump up as the last minute catching Taker running in with a standing cross body into a cover for 1..2…NO!
-“Wow have these two been watching tapes of each other or what?” Comments Ventura. “Well that would be wise for any match, especially one of this magnitude but yes these two know each other’s move sets like their own and have been able to turn that to their advantage in this match.”
-Sting picks Undertaker up and drives him to the mat with a spine buster.
-He comes in back on the attack when out of nowhere Undertaker’s purple gloves hand snaps up and around Sting’s neck, standing and delivering the chokeslam again. Cover for 1…2…NO!
-Undertaker seems frustrated as he picks Sting up and pulls him in, raising him arm and pulling him up onto his shoulders and driving him down into the mat with the last ride! Cover for 1…2…NO! Sting just gets the shoulder up which sends the fans rapid.
-Undertaker stands and he means business cutting his throat and going for the third and final step in Sting’s demise. Sting stands and is turning upside down for the Tombstone but no! Sting kicks his legs dropping down behind the Undertaker hooking his head on the way down and driving him to the mat with the Scorpion Death Drop. Cover for 1….2….NO! The place goes crazy, the crowd jumping up in their aisles as the Undertaker gets the shoulder up.
-Sting drops back in disbelief shaking his head and then finally standing picking the Undertaker up but Taker grabs him around the neck and again drives him down with the chokeslam. Cover for 1….2….NO! Sting kicks out again.
-Undertaker stands, falling back on the ropes, barely able to stand but heads to the top rope, crouching for the diving closeline but now Sting comes to life, standing and running up onto the second rope, grabbing Taker and sending him flying over with a superplex.
-Both men lay on the mat as the crowd rumble, they haven’t sat down since this one began and now the noise is a loud rumble, dueling chants erupting again.
-Both men get to their feet and suddenly Undertaker reacts grabbing Sting again by the neck and lifting him up for the chokeslam but Sting grabs Taker’s head and counters it into a DDT. Cover for 1…2…NO!
-On the outside as Sting rises Paul Bearer raises the urn high just like in the old days. Sting looks over at him with confusion as Bearer raises it and yells “Oh Yes!” Sting soon understands. The Undertaker fans roar as Undertaker sits up.
-Sting comes in booting on Taker as he stands but Taker fires back with shots of his own and then out of nowhere grabs sting, turns him over and drives him down with the Tombstone. He places the arms on the chest for 1…2…NO! Sting gets the shoulder up and the place is going bananas, everyone goes crazy. JR losses it and yells out past the sensors “Holy Shit!”
-Both men lay on the mat as the sound has still not ceased. No one can believe it’s still not over.
-Undertaker then uses the ropes, motivated by Bearer and the urn and wiping the sweat from him brow moves in again but out of nowhere Sting grabs, Taker’s legs, drops him onto his back, turns him over and applies the Scorpion Death Lock. The crowd are deafening as Undertaker reaches for the ropes trying all he can to grab them. Paul Bearer is now on the outside raising the urn high but it no good, the pain is too much. Sting nods his head knowing it’s over and he pulls back on the legs locks the move in tighter.
-Undertaker’s head begins to lower and then finally drops to the mat. Sting shouts for the ref to call it. Hebner comes around and gets in Sting’s face telling him he need to raise the hands. Hebner comes in to do so when out of nowhere Undertaker kicks Sting off sending him flying into Hebner and taking him out.
-Sting checks the ref but he is out of it. Sting turns around seeing Undertaker move in punching and beating him down but Taker still starts to rise up off the mat. Sting comes in again and again beats him down. But Undertaker still starts to move finally Sting jumps up and nails and splash. Sting stands and looks down as Taker is lifeless and then suddenly again the arm begins to move as Taker tries to rise again. “My God Sting has to be wondering what it will take to beat this man” JR says.
-Meanwhile we cut to the aisle where the Nature Boy, stitches and all is walking animatedly down the ramp with baseball bat in hand. As he reaches ringside he rolls the bat in and shouts to Sting “Use it!” Sting shakes his head hesitant “Use it dam it! It’s the only way to beat the son of a bitch!”
-Sting looks out at the crowd at shakes his head in conflict on what to do. He looks down seeing Undertaker has reaches the rope and is slowly starting to pull himself up. She curses and moves in, slowly picking the bat up.
-Sting looks down at the bat and over at Taker who is now pulling up onto his feet and leaning against the ropes. He stares back at the bat as Flair shouts “Yes! Yes Stinger use it!”
-Sting looks up at Flair and then bat at the bat one more time before shaking his head and dropping it to his feet to a loud roar from the applauding crowd. He shakes his head as Flair as the Nature Boy looks out shouting all sorts of words wide eyes and shouts back “No Ric! Not that way.”
-Sting then turns back around right into the Undertaker who catches him, turns him up and drives him down with the Tombstone. Covering for 1…2…3!
-The bells the rings and the crowd reacts one way or another loudly as Undertaker’s music hits.
-“Ladies and Gentleman” Finkle calls “your winner The Undertaker!”
-Flair is going nuts at Ringside throwing off his jacket and stomping on it in animated anger.
-Meanwhile Paul Bearer comes into the ring and helps Undertaker to his feet. Undertaker pushes Paul off and stumbles a moment before finally standing.
-He then looks down at Sting as his music dies down. Taker walks forward as Sting rises, watching him pull himself up.
-You can see the disappointment in Sting’s eyes as he turns around and meets eye to eye with the Undertaker.
-“Folks you have to know that Sting knows that he may have been seconds away from winning if had used that baseball bat” Ross says “the question is should he have?” “Of course! The moron!” Replies Ventura “Jesse from you I wouldn’t expect any less.”
Undertaker then nods his head and holds out his hand. Sting smiles slightly and gives him. The two have a handshake as the crowd cheer and applaud.
-Undertaker then breaks it raises Stings hand with his own as his music plays.
-Taker then drops down onto his knee and does his signature salute as Sting raises his arms to the air and “woos!”
-Both men stand tall as the show fades to black.

-Both men get to their feet and suddenly Undertaker reacts grabbing Sting again by the neck and lifting him up for the chokeslam but Sting grabs Taker’s head and counters it into a DDT. Cover for 1…2…NO!
-On the outside as Sting rises Paul Bearer raises the urn high just like in the old days. Sting looks over at him with confusion as Bearer raises it and yells “Oh Yes!” Sting soon understands. The Undertaker fans roar as Undertaker sits up.
-Sting comes in booting on Taker as he stands but Taker fires back with shots of his own and then out of nowhere grabs sting, turns him over and drives him down with the Tombstone. He places the arms on the chest for 1…2…NO! Sting gets the shoulder up and the place is going bananas, everyone goes crazy. JR losses it and yells out past the sensors “Holy Shit!”
-Both men lay on the mat as the sound has still not ceased. No one can believe it’s still not over.
-Undertaker then uses the ropes, motivated by Bearer and the urn and wiping the sweat from him brow moves in again but out of nowhere Sting grabs, Taker’s legs, drops him onto his back, turns him over and applies the Scorpion Death Lock. The crowd are deafening as Undertaker reaches for the ropes trying all he can to grab them. Paul Bearer is now on the outside raising the urn high but it no good, the pain is too much. Sting nods his head knowing it’s over and he pulls back on the legs locks the move in tighter.
-Undertaker’s head begins to lower and then finally drops to the mat. Sting shouts for the ref to call it. Hebner comes around and gets in Sting’s face telling him he need to raise the hands. Hebner comes in to do so when out of nowhere Undertaker kicks Sting off sending him flying into Hebner and taking him out.
-Sting checks the ref but he is out of it. Sting turns around seeing Undertaker move in punching and beating him down but Taker still starts to rise up off the mat. Sting comes in again and again beats him down. But Undertaker still starts to move finally Sting jumps up and nails and splash. Sting stands and looks down as Taker is lifeless and then suddenly again the arm begins to move as Taker tries to rise again. “My God Sting has to be wondering what it will take to beat this man” JR says.
-Meanwhile we cut to the aisle where the Nature Boy, stitches and all is walking animatedly down the ramp with baseball bat in hand. As he reaches ringside he rolls the bat in and shouts to Sting “Use it!” Sting shakes his head hesitant “Use it dam it! It’s the only way to beat the son of a bitch!”
-Sting looks out at the crowd at shakes his head in conflict on what to do. He looks down seeing Undertaker has reaches the rope and is slowly starting to pull himself up. She curses and moves in, slowly picking the bat up.
-Sting looks down at the bat and over at Taker who is now pulling up onto his feet and leaning against the ropes. He stares back at the bat as Flair shouts “Yes! Yes Stinger use it!”
-Sting looks up at Flair and then bat at the bat one more time before shaking his head and dropping it to his feet to a loud roar from the applauding crowd. He shakes his head as Flair as the Nature Boy looks out shouting all sorts of words wide eyes and shouts back “No Ric! Not that way.”
-Sting then turns back around right into the Undertaker who catches him, turns him up and drives him down with the Tombstone. Covering for 1…2…3!
-The bells the rings and the crowd reacts one way or another loudly as Undertaker’s music hits.
-“Ladies and Gentleman” Finkle calls “your winner The Undertaker!”
-Flair is going nuts at Ringside throwing off his jacket and stomping on it in animated anger.
-Meanwhile Paul Bearer comes into the ring and helps Undertaker to his feet. Undertaker pushes Paul off and stumbles a moment before finally standing.
-He then looks down at Sting as his music dies down. Taker walks forward as Sting rises, watching him pull himself up.
-You can see the disappointment in Sting’s eyes as he turns around and meets eye to eye with the Undertaker.
-“Folks you have to know that Sting knows that he may have been seconds away from winning if had used that baseball bat” Ross says “the question is should he have?” “Of course! The moron!” Replies Ventura “Jesse from you I wouldn’t expect any less.”
Undertaker then nods his head and holds out his hand. Sting smiles slightly and gives him. The two have a handshake as the crowd cheer and applaud.
-Undertaker then breaks it raises Stings hand with his own as his music plays.
-Taker then drops down onto his knee and does his signature salute as Sting raises his arms to the air and “woos!”
-Both men stand tall as the show fades to black.
