He wasn't laughing anymore, but he had a match as WrestleKingdom, how in the hell was HE selected to be in G1? It didn't matter, whom was going to stop him as Kane made his debut and to top it off, he was in his inverted Black and Red Flame Attire, the ref calling for the bell.
MVP did the only thing he thought he could and that was leave the ring, trying to figure out how in the hell he was going to pull this one off, climbing upon the apron and pointed at him, Kane going in as MVP hit the floor, waving him off and took to the ramp, the ref getting to the count of six before he went back inside then rolled out, Kane having enough and went after him.
MVP was much faster, rolling into the ring and would pounce on him like a shark, coming off the rope with The Driveby Kick, Kane latching onto his throat, raising him up and dropped him with the chokeslam. He would pull him up, grabbing him by the throat again and slammed him with a second chokeslam, there was no need for that at all as Kane pulled him up violently and came down with the Tombstone covering....for three.
Wow, Kane, a Semi Finalist in the G1 Tournament and with only two more victories to go...who knows he...just might be a top contender for the IWGP Championship and if he won..who in their right mind would challenge HIM for that belt as we cut to a small intermission.

Chono would drop knees over that neck, Kurt rolling to the outside but Chono clubbed to his back, ramming him back first into the apron then dropped him to his knees wit a hammerblow, Kurt firing back with a lowblow then rammed him headfirst into the stairs.
Angle tossed Chono into the ring, waiting for him as he dropped him with one german suplex, a second german suplex then the third german suplex, rising up angry already going for that ankle but Chono would kick him away, Angle tackling him to the corner and rammed his shoulders hard into his ribs, setting him on top and climbed up but Chono would headbutt him down, catching his balance and dropped him with a shoulder block.

That lit a fire under Chono's ass as he tackled him down, hitting closed fist shots over his head...and refused to stop.
The ref having to pull Chono off whom just pushed him aside, going after Kurt like a madman, hitting him with clubbing blows, the ref getting between them, Chono again pushing him out of the way as Angle surprised him with a low blow, the ref unable to catch that as he caught Chono, dropping him with the Angleslam, rising up and pulled the straps down knowing it was over, stomping on the mat some knowing this was Chono, one wasn't going to be enough as he went for a second one but Chono slid out, dropping Kurt with a brainbuster, still angry as he came off the rope with a shoulder block, raising him up for the ChonoTrigger but Angle weasled out, raising him up for an electric chair but Chono slid behind him, coming off the rope with the Yakuzakick but Kurt caught the ankle and latched on with the Anklelock Craddle right in the center of the ring.
He had it locked in perfectly, using Chono's rage against him pulling and twisting at that ankle, ready to snap it in half as he would yell out he was taking this goddammed title, Chono yelling out in pain reaching for the rope but Kurt was a master at this, twisting the ankle even more if he had to, Chono saying the hell with it and would roll his body, forcefully getting to the rope as Angle broke it, pissed off as he dragged Chono up, hitting to his back and dropped him with one german suplex, a second german suplex, going for the third but Chono reversed and dropped Angle with a release full nelson suplex, having him spike his neck.
Chono rose going for the rope but stumbled due to the bad ankle, Kurt recovering slightly and grabbed at the ankle after chopblocking him, raising the leg up and locked in the ankle lock as Chono rolled forward, latching on a lay out victory roll, 1-2-3.
Countered, that was the way to do it as Chono rolled to the outside, holding his ankle a bit able to score the victory here, Angle complaining that the bastard cheated, his tights were hooked, he had a finger in his eye, he was cheated even blasting the ref with a right hand but it was too late, Chono advancing to the Finals of this Tournament, Mr. G1 had only one more round and it was the Grand Finale at WrestleKingdom and it all could happen.

Edge would pull himself over the barricade, stumbling some, 18, Edge then did a leap of faith and slid into the ring, stumbling up but Steamboat grabbed at his leg and dropped him with a mandara twist, coming down with an elbow over the knee, going for a second one but Edge kicked him off to the buckle.
He rose and charged in, Ricky side stepping catching him on the rebound with a kick to the jaw, Edge loopy and fell back against the buckle while Ricky slowly placed him on top, looking for a superplex himself but Edge blasted him with a headbutt dropping him down. He caught his balance and blasted Ricky with a missile dropkick, pulling him up and powerslammed him down, moving to those legs going for the Edgecution but Steamboat pulled him for a small package for two.
They rose as Edge struck first, Ricky striking back, Edge with a headbutt then tossed him to the ropes but Ricky irish whipped him right into a flatliner DDT, going after him but Edge hooked the tights and smashed his face into the middle buckle, rising fast and nailed him with the Edgecator DDT, covering....for two.
He kicked the rope some, knowing time was ticking away as he pulled Ricky up, going for a powerbomb but Steamboat fought out with a hurricanrana, Ricky snapping him with a headlock takedown, wrenching on the head but Edge rose up, pushing him off, taking a shoulder block for his troubles, Steamboat then rose him up for a gorilla press and slammed him down, lining up his shot and kicked him in the chest to the corner, charging in but Edge backbody dropped him over the rope to the apron, Steamboat catching him by surprise with a hard forearm to the head, climbing the top rope and leapt for the flying chop but Edge caught him with a Spear!
Edge then quickly covered...for two.
He rolled to the side, pulling his hair a bit but moved to the corner, calling him up going for one more, bouncing up and down as Ricky rose up, holding his ribs a bit as Edge charged at him, Steamboat leapfrogging over him, Edge putting the breaks on and turned around as Ricky latched his arms, going for the DragonDDT but Edge charged in pushing him to the corner and landed haymaker after haymaker, going for a bulldog but Ricky pushed him off, Edge smacking into the ref, turning around as Ricky kicked him in the ribs and dropped him with the DragonDDT, going for the cover but the ref of course was still loopy.
He went to check on him and make sure he was okay, the ref staggering in the corner as Steamboat turned, pulling Edge up whom dropped him with the Edgecution DDT, moving to the corner and would lean down, waiting for Steamboat to rise up, knowing this would do it for sure, caling him up as from the other side he was smacked into the turnbuckle by Alberto Del Rio.
He obviously held a grudge saying he cheated in his match, Edge taking a swing at him as Del Rio dared him to a fight, Edge turning his attention back to Steamboat whom suckered him in with a small package...for three.
Steamboat was able to score that one off of Edge's distraction, Del Rio grinning and made his way up the ramp, Edge rolling out and would run up the ramp after him, hot on his heels wanting to destroy him as we prepared for the final match of round 2.
[Play Out]
Man, how was Liger going to pull this one off going up against Kane whom wasn't looking at all hurt, the bell sounding as these two met in the center of the ring. Liger having to look up at him, neither on of them saying a word almost daring the other to strike first, Liger would punch to him, again and again, avoiding Kane's punches and would continue to strike, moving him to the ropes and went to toss him, Kane pulling him back for a clothesline but Liger ducked, coming off the rope with a dropkick to the knee, coming off the rope again and dropkicked the knee again, dropping him down then kicked him over the head, then again, and a third time, Kane stumbling as Liger caught him with a dropkick in the corner, pulling him out and went to bodyslam him, Kane blocking and pushed him with authority.
Liger came off the rope again, sliding under him and hit the rope again blasting him with a flying elbow, hitting the rope another time and hit a dropkick, Kane stumbling to the rope as Liger got a full head of steam, Kane coming in with a boot but Liger slid under him to the apron, snapping him with a rope guillotine and climbed the top rope, leaping but was caught around the throat.
Kane rose him up but Liger slid out, dropkicking the back of the knee and dropped him down, coming off the rope and hit a dropsault to the back of his head, Kane still not dropping as Liger latched on for a DDT but Kane rose him up and tossed him with ease.
He slammed on the canvas, rising but ducked a clothesline, catching Kane right in the jaw with a wheel kick then a clothesline sending Kane out of the ring. Liger rose his hand up, getting a head of steam and would leap over the rope with a plancha right into the mits of Kane whom rose him up and tossed him right into a nearby camera man.
The replay showed that a few times as Kane tossed Liger into the ring, climbing up but Liger caught him with a dropkick on the way in, causing him to stumble back to the floor, Liger now going for a baseball slide but Kane caught his legs and would strongman swing him headfirst into the barricade. Kane pulled him up and dropped him rib first over the barricade, kicking the stairs and got a hold of the top portion, waiting for Liger to rise and flung them like a javaline right into his face.
He flung him back inside, Kane making his way in as he pulled him up by the hair and rammed him headfirst into the buckle, turning him around and started to choke at him, followed up with a hard thrust to the throat, another one, then a stiff punch flinging him across the ring to the other buckle, dropping him with a sidewalk slam.
He fixed his glove, pulling Liger up and hit a side rib breaker, raising him up and did it again, raising him up and dropped him a third time before tossing him across the ring with a Fallaway Slam. Kane made his way over to him, raising him up for a powerbomb but Liger punched to his head, fighting out of his grasp and hit the rope, ducking a big boot and leapt with a cross body, Kane still not off his feet as Liger went to bodyslam him, again bad idea as Kane grabbed him and suplexed him hard upon the canvas.
He moved Liger to the corner, using his boot to choke at him, the ref yelling at him to break at four as Kane flung him hard to the other, coming in for a splash but Liger moved out of the way, on the rebound hitting him with a kick to the chops, another kick to the chops then met him in the corner, hitting ten hard punches to him but he was stopped, Kane holding his hips and dropped him headfirst into the steel post, Liger falling right to the floor.
The ref went to check on him but Kane pushed him out of the way, tossing Liger back into the ring and locked in a trapesius lock, putting pressure right on that neck and shoulder. Liger shook his head, trying to get the blood to flow through his arms, fighting and slowly rose to his feet, Kane violently tossing him to the buckle, coming in with a kick but missed snagging the rope, Liger using that as momentum and dropped him with a backsuplex.
Liger rose up but Kane sat up instantly, Liger immediately striking at him but was pushed back, Liger catching him with a kick to the chest, going for another but Kane caught it and took his head off with a clothesline. Kane hit the rope and came off with an elbow, Liger rolling out of the way, pulling himself up as Kane sat back up, Liger hitting to his back but was pushed back, Liger blasting him with an elbow, then another, ducking a punch and kicked him right in the knee, dropping him down then went for a DDT, Kane backbody dropping him out of the ring.
He would roll out after him, picking him up and went to toss him to the post, Liger sliding behind him and pushed Kane into it, climbing the apron and ran fast with a plauncha, crashing into him through the barricade. Liger was the first one up, clubbing over Kane's back and pulled him back to ringside, Kane coming alive aiming to toss him into the ropes but Liger latched on with a headlock and did a modified sliced bread using the ropes landing upon the stairs.
Liger held his back, rolling into the ring staggering some, the ref continuing to count hitting 17 as Kane recovered and made his way back inside, Liger pouncing on him until Kane pushed him back, he came in with a kick but Kane caught the leg, Liger cracking him over the head with an ensiguri, Kane dropping down to a knee as Liger blasted him with a dropsault to the face, moving to the top rope and leapt off with a moonsault, covering..for one as Kane just tossed him off.
Liger shook his head, going back to him as Kane grabbed his fist, squeezing it in his palm stopping him in his tracks, Liger coming in with a kick, another kick, a third one to break out, shaking his palm and rolled under a clothesline, Liger springboarding off the rope but Kane caught him with a boot to the face.
He pulled him up, shaking his head no and latched onto his throat, raising him up as Liger slid out locking in a sleeper from behind, holding on real tight as Kane stumbled some, trying to pull him off though Liger was skilled at this. Kane rammed him into the buckle but Liger stil held on, Kane would do it again harder, but Liger still held on, Kane starting to lose strength as he did it one more time, Liger still holding on, refusing to let go as Kane dropped down to a knee.
He would rock some, Kane slowly starting to go to sleep as he fell to another knee, his arms dangling at his sides, the ref checking it and his arm fell, the ref checked for two but it shot right up, Kane getting to a vertical base, reaching back and snapped Liger off of him with authority. He would stumble a bit but caught him with a punch to the face, Liger answered back with a punch of his own, Kane hitting him, solid with a haymaker, Liger stumbling against the ropes and came in with an elbow to the face, Kane answered back with an even harder punch that echoed off the walls, Liger stumbling to the ropes and would come back with another punch then another and another, Kane taking each one and grabbed him by the throat and flung him across the ring like a ragged doll.
He would rush in and splashed him in the corner, tossing him like a javaline by the arm to the other buckle and splashed him again, grabbing him by the throat and rose him up, Liger wrapping his legs over his head and would hold onto the rope and tossed him out of the ring.
Liger would skin the cat back inside, leaping over the rope with a corkscrew tope and Kane caught him, ramming him spine first into the post then dropped him with a onehanded Spinebuster through the american announce table. Liger lay like he fell from a cliff, Kane looking out to the crowd and picked up the Japanese Hero whom was lifeless, pulling him up and tossed him into the ring, knowing time was ticking away as Kane slowly cut his throat with his thumb, signaling the end was here, dragging him up by the hair and rose him up for the Tombstone but Liger would kick and flail, sliding out of it from behind, grabbing him from behind and did a german suplex.
What strength by Liger as he rose up, Kane sitting up but Liger punted him square in the face, knocking him down as he would shake his arms to end this, holding his back a little bit as Kane rose up, Liger getting behind him going for the Crush Thunder Buster but Kane fought out, hitting to his ribs and swung hard but missed, Liger blasting him with a Ligerwheel kick then a hard kick to his ribs, picking Kane up and dropped him with the running Ligerbomb, covering...for two.
Even Liger was shocked at that, having to go after him as Kane was groggy, Liger hitting him in the corner and tossed him but Kane irish whipped him, Liger running up the turnbuckle and leapt off with a moonsault, Kane catching him but Liger would kick able to get behind him and rose him up and came down with a Vertical Piledriver, covering...for two...and Kane sat up.
A look that would make satan shake was shown on his face as Kane slowly turned his head, Liger staggering back to the corner, daring him on, Kane almost growing in size it seemed as he went after Liger whom ducked his punches and caught him with another spinkick to the head, Kane on dreamstreet as Liger came in but Kane caught him by the throat, raising him up as Liger slid out, landing on the top rope and kicked him back, leaping for a spinning headscissor but Kane held on, pulling him right up and dropped him with the Last Ride right in the center of the ring.
Kane would cover...for two. Holy crap Liger kicked out and there were just two minutes left, Kane looking at the ref whom got the fear of God in him and fled the ring, Kane rolling to the outside, grabbing Inoki out of his chair and flung him across, getting a hold of the chair and would enter the ring, the ref told him not to but Kane flung him out of the ring swinging with the chair but Liger kicked him in the knee, getting a hold of the chair and swung..but Kane caught it, ripping it out of his hand and came down...missing while Liger came off the rope and caught him with a dropsault to the chest, Kane stumbling through the ropes, landing on his feet as Liger would baseball slide, knocking him into the japanese announce table, having a hold of the chair and cracked it hard over Kane's skull.
It was on the floor it was all legal as Kane lay on the table, Liger rolling into the ring looking to take a leap of faith when he stopped, looking over to the steel chair and got a hold of it then climbed the top rope. Everyone stood up for this one as Liger was taking a huge chance here, placing the chair to his chest and would leap with a Shooting Star Press, landing right upon Kane's face smashing through the table.
Liger held his chest, god did that have to hurt, Inoki allowing that as Liger rolled along the floor, kicking some as he probably would have cursed if he could, slowly rolling to his feet as the ref got to the count of 15. Liger stumbled but rolled into the ring, 16, Liger could barely kneel up, barely able to breathe, 17, Liger would look over at the wreckage that was Kane, unable to believe he did that, 18, and Kane sat up. He would turn his head looking to Liger ready to rip his head off, 19, Kane slowly making it to a vertical base, stumbling back and made his way towards the ring, 20.
Wow, just like that Liger had won the bout by count out and thank god that was probably the only way he would have been able to pull it off tonight, Kane having his hand on the rope knowing he lost the bout, Liger raising his arm but would exit out of the ring heading up the ramp needing to heal up, hoping his final match wasn't next up as Kane just looked on, almost wanting a rematch as we cut to the final break prior to the final round.
