X Division Championship
*Play KENTA VS Sabin*
Sabin now looks across at the psyed up KENTA as he removes the X Division Championship from around his waist, folds it up and hands it to the official. The referee takes it and shows it to KENTA who nods at it and then holds it up for all sides before handing it down to the timekeeper. He then finally comes forward checking on the two combatants as they loosen up and get ready to go at it, and then calls for the bell.
They now both circle each other for a moment, KENTA going for a kick and Sabin giving a lopsided grin as he manages to avoid it. They yell a few things at each other a moment before then finally locking up. KENTA pushes Sabin back into the ropes who then reverses it, KENTA reversing it back, the two rolling around on the ropes until the referee separates them for a clean break. They lock horns again now, KENTA now forcing Sabin to the mat in the lock, Sabin rolling back and taking him over in it. The collar elbow still applied as they roll around and jock for position on the mat. Sabin eventually throwing KENTA to the mat in it and trying to break it to stand but that just gives KENTA the leverage to get back onto it fit and they are back in the standing collar elbow tie up again. They then finally break and stare each other down now to a cheer and clapping from the crowd. KENTA nodding and wiping his brow as he goes around going back into it, Sabin smiling and nodding at KENTA in return. KENTA then fires in with a kick but Sabin ducks it and clobbers him with a right hand. KENTA answers back with a kick to the shins, then a roundhouse to the chest. Sabin is no longer smiling, clutching his chest in pain as he falls back. When he reaches the ropes KENTA gets to him and now runs it to hit a running arched big boot to the chest knocking him down in the ropes. He then grabs the arm and whips him off into the opposite ropes, then going for another kick but Sabin catches this one, KENTA manages to retrieve it and turn away, but as he does Sabin nails a dropkick to the back of the head sending him into the ropes now. KENTA now rebounds and stands right into Sabin who hooks his wait, placing his head under his arm and heaving him up onto the top rope, but as he goes to grab him they KENTA elbows him back and then hangs himself upside down in the corner to bring up a upside couple of kicks into Sabin’s face sending him away.
He then rolls back onto his feet and run in on Sabin, but Sabin catches him coming in with the deep arm drag. KENTA stands from then and runs in again, Sabin this time nailing the drop toe hold sending him face first into the mat, then grabs the arm and spins around it dropping down and hooking in the la misra cradle for a quick 1 count. Both men stand again and now KENTA runs in for Sabin now Sabin drops down and dropkicks the knees of KENTA sending him flipping over and onto his back. The crowd cheers loudly for that one as KENTA sits up holding his knees in pain. Sabin now stands and comes in behind KENTA pulling him up in the rear wait lock and dropping back for the German but KENTA is able to land on his feet driving Sabin into the mat out of it and then runs in for the knee, Sabin though ducks it, but KENTA stops himself and nails the buzz saw kick to the back of Sabin’s head sending him down to a cheer. KENTA now comes in nailing the standing senton and then picking Sabin up, kicking away rabidly at the chest, then Irish whips him into the ropes coming in and nailing the running arched big boot again sending him down to the mat. He then lock Sabin in a headlock and throws him down into the mat for a cover for quick 2. He then pulls Sabin up to expose his chest and then fires away with a hard knife edge chop that sends Sabin falling away holding his chest and yelling out. He then comes in pulling Sabin up and then snap mares him over, then hitting the ropes and dropping a jumping knee to the head and covering again for 2. He gets up, just onto his knee though and now locks in a modified fujiwara arm bar, staying on his knees and pushing one knee down into Sabin’s head. Sabin grimaces in the pain, but yells out and shakes his head as the referee asks if her wants to give it up.
The crowd now start to clap in rhyme, trying to will Sabin back into it. Chris is eventually able to throw him off and then both men stand again now, KENTA nailing another chop but Sabin answers back with one of his own. KENTA answering it back, Sabin then answering back with a forearm to the face, and again, again, forcing him back into the ropes and then grabbing the arm and Irish whipping him into the corner and running in, but KENTA is able to use the top rope to get his feet up into the incoming Champions face, then runs forward with a spinning heel kick taking him down. He then circles the ring, yelling out in Japanese at the fans and then coming in and covering Sabin for 2. KENTA now picks Sabin up by the head again and takes him over with a snapmare and then locking in a full nelson on the mat to pull him into a body scissors with the legs, forcing Sabin down to the mat in them as he yells out in pain as his ribs are crushed in the viced legs. KENTA keeps it applied for a few moments now as Sabin yells out in pain and then at no at the asking official. After about 30 seconds in the holds Sabin then is able to bring up an elbow and drives it down into KENTA’s knee a few times to try to break the grip of it so he can get out of the hold, but then KENTA rolls over pulling Sabin with his legs so now his shoulders are on the mat for 1…2…Sabin manages to roll it back over. They now break, Sabin lying on the mat as KENTA comes in and nails a straight kick to the chest of the seated Sabin sending him back down. He then picks Sabin up and now drives him down with a fisherman buster and hooks the leg back for 1…2…NO! He now brings Sabin up by the head and exposes the chest again for a chop, Sabin answering back again with his own to a loud “woo!” From the Orlando crowd. Kenta fires back with a chop, Sabin, Kenta, Sabin, Sabin, Kenta, Kenta, Kenta, Sabin. Back and forth the knife edge chops go. Sabin then manages to take the advantage with a few forearm shots and then whips him off the ropes again, he then spins with a back kick but Kenta catches himself on the ropes and then comes in for the spinning back kick of his own to Sabin’s gut sending him down. He then nails a straight kick to the back and then the back of his head as he gets to his knee, sending him down like a tree again. KENTA now comes in a covers for 2.
Kenta now picks up and now throws him back into the corner, nailing reverse spinning chops to the face and then driving in his shoulder into the gut, Sabin clubbing down into the back over it. Nailing then now over and over until KENTA then jumps back and nails a dropkick, that whiplashes Sabin’s head back over the top turnbuckle. Sabin now falls to lay now on the apron as Kenta stands. He then comes in for him, reaching over the top rope to pull him up on the apron, Sabin going for a shot a missing, Kenta firing back with a chop, he then pulls him through the ropes and nails a kick to up into the hanging head sending him reeling back to now sit on the apron. Kenta takes a moment for a breather before then running for the ropes and coming in, but as he does Sabin vaults up onto the top rope and springboards off with a missile dropkick sending Kenta down. Both men lay out of it for a moment until Sabin now both men now rising to their hands and knees and start to crawl. Kenta then runs it right into a closeline, Sabin then yelling for him to get up and when he does runs in and nails a running back elbow sending Kenta back down again. Really building some steam now, the crowd behind him as he comes in on the rising Kenta and wails away with hard knife edge chops to the chest. KENTA reels from one and then charges in for Chris, but Sabin side steps it and sends Kenta into and through the ropes now, crashing down on the black mats on the floor. Then as Kenta rises up on the outside hit the ropes, runs in and flies though the ropes down onto Kenta with the suicide dive sending him back into the guard rail out to a loud roar.
A replay is shown of the move and then we are back to live action. Kenta is now in the ring and standing as Sabin is standing on the apron, holding the top rope with a look of intent. He then vaults up and springboards off but Kenta runs forward, Sabin though landing on his feet and turning as Kenta runs in right into a spinning back kick to the gut followed up with a jumping ensurguri to the head. Kenta now quiet knowing where he is as he rises off the mat holding his head and stumbling towards the corner as Sabin comes in and heaves him up onto the top rope and now sets him up in the tree of woe. He then backs off and runs in nailing the hesitation dropkick. The crowd claps and cheers a Sabin stands and now pushes Kenta’s shoulders to the mat and covers for 1…2…NO! Kenta just kicks out. Sabin now pulls Kenta up and it, hoisting him up from the legs onto his shoulders for the powerbomb, but Kenta manages to nail rabid elbows to the head why on the shoulders to stop him, Sabin then goes to turn into a fireman’s carry, but Kenta drops down his body, hooking in the leg scissors on the body and then grabs the head in a dragon sleeper! The crowd explodes in applause for that one as Kenta pulls back on it. He does so for a few moments until Sabin runs back driving Kenta into the corner to get him off his back, walking away groggily as he leaves Kenta in the corner. He then heads to the opposite corner and after a moment Kenta runs forward, but Sabin now runs in and dropkicks his legs right out from under him, sending him over again. Then as Kenta stands Sabin runs for the ropes and vaults up onto the second one, grabbing Kenta coming down and driving him headfirst into the mat with a tornado DDT! Covering for 1…2….NO!!! Again Kenta just kicks out.
“I tell ya, I’m exhausted just watching this. What an amazing opening bout here for the X Division Championship” JR comments.
“This is nuts!” Kings agrees.
“No its two nuts. Two nuts that will do anything to become X Division Champion” Cornette adds.
Both men lay out on the mat for a moment until Sabin is the first to rise. Kenta has now pulled himself up into the corner, Sabin coming in and nailing a hard couple of forearms, then reaching down and heaving Kenta up onto the top rope, he then heads up to join him there, hammering away to keep Kenta out of it, then setting up and going for a frakensteiner and nailing it! But as they hit the mat Kenta is able to turn it into a double leg roll up for 1…2…NO!!! Sabin brings up his legs to kick both sides of Kenta’s head to break it up! Kenta though then leaps up onto his feet and jumps up with double stomp down into Sabin’s gut. Sabin holds himself as he stands and turns right into the Kenta rush, the crowd going nuts for this match, many solidly behind the challenger now as he fires away and then runs the rope and nailing the final part; the Busaiku knee kick! And dropping down covering, he and crowd counting along with the referee 1…2…NO!!! Sabin powers the shoulder the mat to a huge reaction of a shock and then cheers. Kenta now Sabin up and whips him into the ropes, following up with a kitchen sink knee to the gut. He then as Sabin walks to the centre of the ring leap up onto the ropes and springboards back with a springboard shinning wizard! And covering for 1….2….NO!! Sabin still kicks out!
Kenta now slowly rises, pulling Sabin up and then whipping him into the corner, running in for the follow up, but Sabin moves and Kenta meets post and then turns around right into the face wash running kick to the head there! Sabin is now hanging on the top rope as Kenta is out of it below him in the corner. Sabin then pulls him out of the corner up onto his shoulders for the cradle shock, but Kenta elbows to fight out it and swings around to stand, grabbing the head and then going for a brain buster, but Sabin manages to push his weight back down to the mat and then heaves him up onto his shoulders again and nails it! Cradle Shock! Covering for 1…2….NO!!! Kenta kicks out! The crowd is now going absolutely berserk for this one, they cannot believe that was not it and neither can the commentators.
“What will it take? What does Sabin have to do?” JR calls out in disbelief.
Both men are now out of it, but slowly now Kenta starts to crawl towards the corner to try and pull himself up. Sabin stumbles to stand. He then comes in and heaves Kenta up onto the top rope, then sits up on the top turnbuckle and grabs Kenta off the rope onto his shoulders! The crowd buzzing as he rises setting up for something here but Kenta elbows his way out of that and stands back on the second ropes next to the corner where Sabin is perched and then nails up a hard roundhouse to his chest there. And again. And again! Both men now stumble and fall from their perches back down to the mat, falling away from each other, Kenta backs into the ropes a moment’s breather and then comes in again. He then runs in and nails a running arched big boot sending Sabin back first into the corner, rebounding hard off it to lie on the canvas. Kenta then stands and calls for it, pulling the rising Sabin up onto his shoulders for the GTS…but Sabin drops down onto his feet and reverses it into a second Cradle Shock for 1…2…3!!!
The crowd now rises with a standing ovation for Sabin, for both men as Sabin’s music hits.
“Here is your winner and STILL you’re WWF X Division Champion! Chris Sabin!” Finkle announces to another cheer.
Sabin now stumbles to stand as he gets his hand raised by the referee and it handed his title belt. He kisses it and cradles it to himself as he falls down to one knee in exhaustion.
“Wow what a match! And that folks is just the first tonight!” JR comments as Sabin now rises up again with a grin up him face, whipping back his hair with his sweat and grinning down at the X title belt. He then turns and looks over at KENTA as he starts to rise now and comes in, extending his hand. The crowd applauds and cheers as Kenta takes it and the two shake hands in respect. Kenta bowing to him as he leaves Sabin in his spotlight, still the man in the X Division.
We now cut too backstage where our cameras have caught Kendra watching this, just staring at Sabin holding his title belt up on the screen.
Interlude #1
As Sabin now walks to the back we now cut backstage again to Legendaries suite. The crowd booing heavily as they see the group. Vince Mcmahon standing at the head of them and talking.
“Tonight is a huge night. Tonight Trish puts down that Japanese idiot, we get back the Tag Team titles, Jushin Ligers reign will finally end and you John Cena will destroy the leader of the so called “real wrestlers” in Shawn Michaels. And also tonight...well we need something for you to do don’t we Mr. Austin” Vince grins broadly over as Austin who until now wasn’t paying attention and now looks up in annoyance at Mcmahon “I have it. How about you be in John Cena’s corner tonight to make sure that whatever Rock and Hogan leave his brats don’t interfere in our main event. Good for you? Great!” He cuts him off before he has chance to answer which just pisses off Austin more “now…on to Liger.”
“Yeah on to that” the crowd cheers as Shane Mcmahon is in the doorway walking in.
“Get the hell out of here Shane! This is my private suite! Our private suite!” Vince yells at him.
“Oh I’m going. I just dropped by to inform you that I may not be able to stop what is happening tonight. I may not be able to cancel Goldberg’s match with Liger…but I can rearrange it.”
“What?” Both Goldberg and Vince yell back.
“Bill your match with Liger is next! Meaning Liger won’t be defending his IC title against Ziggler until later. That will at least give him some recovery time” Shane replies to a loud roar.
“You can’t do that!” Vince screams at his son.
“I just did. Have a good night” Shane grins at him leaves.
Goldberg now turns back to Mcmahon yelling at him but Vince holds up his hands and calms him “Oh don’t worry Bill. It will happen, it will. Who cares if he has time to recover? An hour or so won’t make any difference. You will just have to turn up the heat to make sure of that. I want you to hurt him Bill, annihilate that little overrated power ranger! Leave nothing but scraps for Ziggler.”
“I intended to anyway” Goldberg sneers a smile and then turns and marches out of the room, all of the group wishing him happy hunting as he fade back to ringside. Here we go.
Jushin “Thunder” Liger VS Bill Goldberg
*Play Liger VS Goldberg*
Liger rightfully looks a little fidgety and rightfully so as Goldberg snorts his pyro and marches down the ramp, giving a sneering smile back at Liger as he stops on the outside ahead the aisle. He then stomps up the steps, methodically and then enters the ring, glaring across and yelling that he is going to hurt him. Liger removes his entrance gear and title belt, gesturing for him to bring it. He is game. Goldberg just continues to stare with his grin. The hands now take the IC title.
“For all intensive purposes that title is on the line here even though it’s not” JR comments “make no mistake about it, if he goes down badly here he is very likely to go down to Ziggler and lose that title that means so much to him, that he has fought hard to keep for over two years.”
“Yeah Jushin. It was great but wish that belt goodbye right now” Cornette replies.
The referee now checks with both men, both nodding and then finally calling for the bell. At once Liger rushes forward hammering down into the charging beat with blows at the crowd roars, then breaks and nails palm strikes. But then Goldberg charges forward tackling Liger to the mat and hammers away with hard shots to the head. He then stands and heaves Liger up throwing him to the corner and coming in, but Liger is able to get his foot up sending Goldberg away and charges forward nailing the rolling Liger wheel kick. But Bill does not fall, just stumbles back. Liger stands and now hits the ropes running in but this time does right into a hard capture power slam. Goldberg now stands with the sneering grin back as his stomps away on Liger on the mat and then picks him up and whips him into the ropes going for his back kick but Liger manages to slide under it and then hits the ropes coming back with a standing cross body block, but Goldberg is able to catch him out of the air and then throw him over and down with a fall away slam. He then stands and charges in for the spear but Liger side steps it throwing Goldberg into the turnbuckle then on the rebound running in and hitting a flying forearm to the head, he then grab the lowered head and throws him over with a snap suplex. But before Liger is back on his feet so is Goldberg. Liger just shakes his head at this and comes in hooking Goldberg from behind in the rear waist lock and going for the German but Goldberg elbows out of that and turns grabbing Liger in and gut wrench power bombing him down into the mat, folding up the leg for 1…2… Goldberg just gets off him, not done that could have been it but we will never know. He now picks Liger up, but Liger catches him and takes him over with a fireman’s carry then stands and heads out onto the apron and onto the top rope flying off with a diving Lou Thez press pinning Goldberg’s to the mat and hooking the legs for 1. Liger now stands and kicks Goldberg down again and then again heads out onto the apron, but this time Goldberg is up and charges in, spearing Liger off the apron and sending him flying down face first into the announce table and out on the floor. Goldberg posses and roars at the fans to loud boos and then heads out. He picks Liger up and heaves him in the air, bringing him down head and chest first into the hood of the English announce table again, then slamming his head off the Spanish announce table and before hammering away and throwing him down into the security wall, turning him to his back on it and hammering him down there with hard shots. He then backs off and runs in with the running kick but at the last second Liger is able to move and Goldberg collides chest first with the wall.
He falls away holding his gut as Liger takes a moment and then comes in breaking the referees count and then coming in on Goldberg again, slamming his face off the barrier and then splating it off the post before throwing him back in. He the heads right onto the top rope as he comes back in, flying off with the press again, but this time Goldberg catches him out the air on his shoulder and drives him down into the mat with sit out powerbomb! Goldberg now stands smiling at the referee refuses to go for the pin now, a little slower now but shakes it off and snorts as he comes in. He then pulls Liger up and throws him back first into the corner, charging in shoulder first into the gut, then backing off and doing it again. He follows that up with hard knees to the gut in the corner over and over until the referee forces the break. He intimates the referee back and then turns around back into Liger who now is back to life and a loud cheer fires away with chops and palm strikes, beating Goldberg back across the ring until he manages to knee him in the gut and then takes him over with a snap suplex. He then picks him up and hits a closeline, but doesn’t let go, pulling Liger up by his shoulder and pulling him in for a second closeline, and again pulling him up and delivering a third that turns Liger inside out and out on the mat. He now heads over to one of the corners and starts to undo the top turnbuckle pad, the booing and buzzing as he does. The referee comes in to try and stop him but gets warned off with a back elbow, he grins at the flinch of the ref and then goes back to untying. He unravels it and finally pulls the pad off, throwing it far into the front row of the crowd and yelling back to the referee “go get it!” With a grin. He then turns as back as Liger charges in and nails Goldberg down with a rolling wheel kick! A loud cheer for that as Liger rolls over and uses the ropes to finally stand. He then waits for Goldberg to rise and then hits the ropes running it and hitting a running high knee, and following that up with a leg drop. He then goes to pick Goldberg up but Goldberg hammers into it gut to break the grip then pulls him in between his legs, heaving him up for the powerbomb again but then Liger hammers down into his head, viceing the legs and dropping down to bring up his leg and lock in the triangle choke to a huge roar. Goldberg stumbles and fails his arms in the hold, trying to get out of it as Liger nods as he pulls back on it, synching it in. But then Goldberg is able to bring up his arms and grab Liger, using all his power to heave him up and then drive him into the mat with a modified powerbomb to break it. Goldberg now stumbles away out of that and when recovered comes in and boots down into Liger in anger for it.
He then picks Liger up and knees him in the gut several more time, and then punches him hard in the ribs before then hard Irish whipping him towards the exposed turnbuckle corner, but Liger puts the breaks and sends Goldberg back first into the corner to a loud cheer, the undefeated beat yelling out as his back strikes the steel he himself exposed he then comes in right into a codebreaker! Liger rolling him over and covering for 1…2…NO! Goldberg throws Liger off of him to kick out. He then gets up onto his knees but Liger is already coming in and nails a running dropkick sending him falling through the ropes to the outside. Goldberg now stands their slamming the apron in frustration as he turns just in time to see Liger running and flying over the top rope and down onto him with the senton plancha! The crowd are now cheering and chanting loudly for Liger as they and the commentators realize that Jushin may have a chance here. He comes in, picking him Goldberg by the head and throwing him into the aisle way guard wall, coming in and hammering him now up aisle and now to up at the bottom of the entrance ramp. Liger then backs off and runs in, but at the last second Goldberg ducks down and sends him over with back body drop onto the metal ramp! The crowd let out a collective gasp and wince, a hush coming over them as Liger’s momentum is again cut short and badly this time. Goldberg now comes in and pulls Liger up, rolling him back into the ring and following him in.
He now signals the end and goes to the corner, boos sounding out and getting louder as he crouches down there and signals for the spear. Waiting for Liger to rise and then pouncing for it, but Liger is able to side step him throwing him into the corner then on the rebound unhooks him going for the Crash Thunder Buster…but Goldberg throws him off hard chest first into the corner himself and then grabs him by the arm and head whipping him hard ribs first right into the exposed turnbuckle. Liger yells out, holding his ribs as he turns right into a spear! The crowd is now booing heavily as Goldberg sneering a grin out at them calling for part 2. He then picks Liger up for the Jackhammer, but Liger grabs him, traps the leg and rolls him up for 1…2….NO!!! Goldberg manages to break it, the crowd gasp loudly for that one.
Goldberg is furious now as he stand, coming in and clubbing down into the Liger, he then heaves him up and drops him down chest and ribs first onto the exposed buckle again and getting warned by the referee that if he does it again he will be disqualified. Goldberg ignores him and now again signals for it waiting for Liger to rise then charges out and spears him in half for the second time! He then waits no time this time, picking Liger up and hoisting him up into the air in the suplex, spinning with it and then driving him down into the mat with the Jackhammer! Hooking the leg for 1…2…3!!!
Loud boos as Goldberg’s music hits as he is announced the winner. He spits out and snorts with a grin now as the referee raises his hand.
“Damn…well for all intensive purposes there should be your intercontinental Champion. But Goldberg apparently doesn’t want the belt. But Ziggler sure does and after the attack focused on the ribs with those exposed buckle shots and spears, it was too much here for any many even Liger to withstand. Goldberg remains undefeated; he did his job in beating and taking out Liger here. And he has practically fist wrapped the IC title for Dolph Ziggler” JR comments.
“Yeah gift wrapped around his ribs” Cornette responds.
“Indeed and…oh come on!” JR yells out as now Goldberg now comes in and continues to vicious stomp down into the injured ribs of the Intercontinental Champion. The bell ringing over as he stomps away, but he ignores it. Gesturing to hit the referee who flees. More referees and security now hitting the ring, but he doesn’t stop until Vince now appears on the stage. The evil boss grinning from ear to ear and holding out his arms to Goldberg yelling that he has done his job and to come back for the party. Goldberg nods to Mcmahon, giving Liger one last stomp before then heading out of the ring and up the ramp to the embrace. The two jackals leaving as we focus on Liger being aided in the ring, holding his ribs in pain. The work has been done.
Interlude #2
We come back now from a video promo seeing a party in Legendaries lounge. At smiles and laugher and Goldberg is centre of it all.
“Now that is now you take care business” Cena slaps Goldberg on the back.
“You whipped the red power rangers monkey ass! Showing exactly why he is not in our league” Rock adds.
“Yup, that is how you annihilate someone!” Vince grins back with Champaign in hand “but it’s only part one. My destroyer did his work, now it’s your turn…”
The crowd boos as Legendary part from the black leather sofa stands Dolph Ziggler with Velvet Sky to heavy boos.
“Don’t screw this up. Goldberg has gift wrapped Liger for you. Now get that title and become a legend by being the one to finally end it” Vince says sternly.
“Vince…uh…I mean Mr. Mcmahon. It will be an honor. I become a legend and you get yourself a new IC champ. Everyone wins” Dolph grins and raises his glass now.
“I’ll drink to that. To new beginnings” Vince clinks his glass off Ziggler’s.
“To new beginnings” Ziggler grins back and the two drink up with everyone else around them as we fade back to ringside.
Women’s Championship
*Play Trish and Hamada*
Trish grins across at Hamada, sneering at cockily at her as she hands over the title. The referee now takes it and holds it up for all to see before handing it to the timekeeper, getting between the two women…and calling for the bell.
Trish charges across the ring, swinging, but Hamada blocks it and fires back with hard shots of her own. Trish reels from them and then swings a kick to the gut but Hamada catches it and takes her over with a leg drag. She then stands, keeping hold of the leg and twisting it to lock in a shin lock on the mat. Trish yells and brings her other foot up, kicking Hamada in the mouth and sending her stumbling back. Hamada falls into the ropes and then turns as Trish cries out and charges in taking Hamada down with a running forearm and covering for 1.
She now drags Hamada off the mat by her hair and then throws her back hard into the corner, stomping away on the chest and then holding the top rope, brings her leg up and chokes Hamada with it. She continues until the referee yells at her to break it, then counting and reaching 4 before she does. Trish again goes right back on the neck as Hamada comes out the corner, holding her throat and sputtering, running in and hammering down into the neck and then hooks the head and drives her into the mat with an inverted DDT for 2!
Trish now stands and now heads up to the second rope, positioning herself as Hamada rises and flying off and jumping for a cross body but Hamada catches her out the air and drive him down with a capture suplex and covering for 1…2…NO!
Hamada now stands, grimacing as she holds her neck and then picks Trish up, shooting her into the ropes and hitting a super kick into another cover for another 2 count. She then picks Trish up again and drops her with her signature jumping headbut. She then drops down, picks Trish up and shots her into the ropes again, this time though Trish charges back with a running closeline, which Hamada ducks and then hits the ropes herself, both women running for each other, when Hamada jumps up around Trish and locks in La Ayakita, a Wrist-lock with neck scissors. She nods her head, pulling on the arm and syncing in the grip with her legs. Trish stumbles, unable to break the hold and then drops down, wilting in it.
Trish’s eyes are shut and falls down to the mat, Hamada keeping the tight hold on the arms and head applied. But then Trish comes to life, dropping back and turning it into a crucifix for 1…2…NO! Hamada just breaks the hold in time. Both women now rise up and go for each other again, both trading hard punches back and forth until Hamada gets the kick to the gut and shoots Trish into the ropes, but Trish ducks the grip and hits the opposite ropes, running in behind Hamada, grabbing her head with both hands and driving it into the mat with the face buster bulldog. She then stands and backs into the corner, signaling and yelling for Hamada to rise and as she does to her knees Trish runs in and nails the ensurguri. Hamada dropping the mat out of it as Daffney throws her shoulder over and covers for 1…2…NO!
Trish now is screaming with anger as she backs off and runs in again hitting the rolling neck snap for 1…2…NO!
Trish now places Hamada on the bottom ropes and starts to choke her with her knee on it, the referee coming in and counting, forcing the breaking and getting yelling at by Trish for it. She then turns as Hamada is back up and runs in, hooking Trish from behind and pulling her back to the centre of the ring and dropping her with the thunder fire powerbomb for 1….2….NO!! Trish just gets her shoulder up to the crowds and Hamada’s shock. Hamada now lifts Trish off the mat and blast her with hard shots, sending her back into the corner and then Irish whipping her across the ring into the other, Trish however puts her arms out and stops it, turning as Hamada comes in runs back, grabs her head and travel over to driver her head into the mat with the reverse DDT again for 1…2…NO! Trish now is getting mad as she mounts Hamada and starts hammering way with hard vicious rights, then grabs her hair and throws her head down into the mat over and over, yelling as she does. Hamada though then blocks her and rolls to reverse it so that she is mounted on Trish now, beating down with hard shots of her own. Trish then manages though to get her legs up and hook the arms, rolling Hamada back for a cover for 1…2…NO!
Both women now stand again and both swing for each other but Hamada ducks underneath, goes behind and then lifts Trish off the mat for the high angle belly to back suplex. But Trish is able to rolls back, grab the leg as she goes under and turn it into a Boston crab! Hamada call out and struggles, starting to crawl and finally is able to crawl forward and grab the bottom rope. Trish yells out in anger now and turns, grabbing Hamada up by the head and taking her towards the corner, hammering down on the hurt neck to weaken Hamada, then reaches her head back to drive into it…when Hamada puts her hands out and stops it, elbowing Trish away and then climbing the turnbuckle to the top and flying off with the missile dropkick. Daffney however has a good sense to get out of there, rolling under the bottom rope from that to the outside and trying to catch her bearings. Hamada now comes out after her, grabbing her and going to slide her back into the ring but Trish gets a hard shot onto the neck and then grabs the arm whipping Hamada upside down into the crowd barrier. The crowd reacts as Hamada now crumbles to the protective mats holding her neck which was obviously severely made worse by that move. Trish now rolls her back into the ring and comes in, ducking down and then as she stands and turns striking with the chick kick for 1….2….NO!!! The crowd cheers as Hamada just barely kicks out.
Trish now has no energy to scream, her face just that of shock as she falls back to the mat then gets onto her knees and argues with the official that it was 3, almost begging him but falling her head to the mat as he replies with a no. Trish sneers at him and comes in, pulling Hamada up, by the hair, kicking her in the gut to keep her still and then looks towards the corner, then with a heave throws Hamada back first into the exposed steel, Hamada’s neck bashing off the top turnbuckle. Hamada holds her neck and falls forward from that as Trish runs in and drives her head into the mat with a DDT for 1…2…..NO! The arena let out a massive sound of shock as Hamada kicks out again.
Trish now picks up and now runs to the corner, going for the Stratisfaction but at the last second Hamada is able to reverse it into a power slam. She then crawls over and covers for 1…2…NO! Trish kicks out now. Hamada now sets Trish coming for a AP Cross but Trish drops out of it, rakes the eyes and then drives Hamada down with the face buster. She follows that up by locking in a side headlock on the mat. Hamada struggle in the hold as the crowd start to clap for 30 or so seconds before then being able to power onto her feet and throw Trish into the ropes, sending him over with a back body drop and following up with a leg drop. He then heads out and onto the top rope, rising and as Trish rises flies off with a missile dropkick again, but this time Trish catches her out the air and drives her down into the mat chest and face first. The crowd reacts as wince at that one as Trish falls back out of breath and hurt into the ropes. She then comes in and picks Hamada up, driving her face first off the corner several times then rolling her back with a leg scissors roll up for 1…2…Hamada reverses it back into a roll up of her own 1…2…Trish reverses it back 1…2…Trish now stands and drops an elbow but Hamada moves. She then grabs Trish from behind and drives her down with a German suplex into a bridge for 1…2…NO! Trish kicks out just barely again.
Hamada is now the one to be frustrated and picks up Trish setting her up for the Hamada-Chan cutter now but Trish nails a few good forearms and then kicks her in the gut, grabbing her head and running up the corner, spring boarding off and apron for the Stratisfaction Bulldog for 1…2….NO!!! The crowd cheers heavily as Hamada kicks out! Trish now stands out of breath in disbelief, begging with the referee and then heads up onto the top rope now, flying off with a splash for 1…2…NO!!! Hamada kicks out again. Trish is now having a tantrum, pounding her fists into the mat.
She then stands and pulls her up going for it again but this time Hamada reverses it into a neckbreaker standing hitting the ropes, dropping a headbut and covering for 1…2….NO! Trish kicks out. Hamada now picks Trish up and throws her up into the air and nails the Hamada-Chan cutter! She then goes to cover…put they are close to the ropes and Trish manages to roll out under the bottom one to the follow, falling there and now calling in pain towards the time keeper. Hamada kicks the ropes in anger and yells out at her in Japanese as slowly Trish stands with the aid of the announce table and yells for the timekeeper to give her the her belt. When he recoils she screams and snatches it away from him and goes to leave to loud boos. But as she passes the apron Hamada reaches down and grabs her by her blond locks, heaving her up onto the apron. But once there Trish turns and nails Hamada with the Women’s Championship! In plain sight of the referee and he has no choice but to call for the bell.
Loud booing as the bell rings and Finkle announces it.
“Here is your winner as result of disqualification. Ayako Hamada! However championships cannot change hands on a disqualification…” louder boos “so still your WWF Women’s Champion! Trish Stratus!”
Trish laughs and grins at the booing crowd and the referee. Throwing him aside as she enters the ring, seeing Hamada slowly rise and lying in wait as she does and then turns right as Trish runs in a clobbers her with the belt again. She then stomp away on her, loud booing and the bell sounded out and referees finally drag the women’s champion off the rightful owner of that belt. Finally Trish leaves, heading out of the ring and flicking her hair back with cocky pride, strutting her stuff up the ramp to the back, holding up her women’s title in triumph.
“Is there anything she won’t do to keep that’s Women’s title? These people are furious and rightfully so. Trish used to be a woman of integrity. Now, now that she is Legendary she cheated her way to the title, for the title and now takes the cheap way out, the championship advantage to get herself disqualified to keep the belt when she knew Hamada had her beat. Damn her” JR calls as she Trish struts like a peacock to the mat.
“That’s what the Championship advantage is there for Ross!” Cornette yells back “what it is smart. Good for Trish!”
JR just makes a noise of disgust as in the ring Hamada is aided and Trish heads to the back
