Now i have not posted here in a while but this is a topic that seems to have divided many fans (mostly internet fans). In my opinion cena beating lesnar was the wrong business decision. Alot of people who are saying cena beating lesnar was the right decision in my opinion are just happy seeing lesnar lose because they hate the guy. You have to put personal feelings aside and look at it from what would be best for business. Take for example at wrestlemania...i was so happy to see the rock win because i am a huge fan BUT put those feelings aside and i agree 100% it was the wrong decision. What i would have done would have cena beat rock at mania and come out boasting on raw claiming he told us he would do it and that he beat one of the'' greatest of all time'' the rock....ENTER LESNAR! Lesnar beats cena at extreme rules and cena gets carried out on a stretcher and is out of action for a few months. You then have lesnar destroy the entire roster and i mean totally destroy them while having matches with all the big names like cm punk, daniel bryan, hhh etc. Then have cena come back for a rematch and finally beat lesnar. That just stinks of money right there and a guaranteed way to make the crowd get behind cena if booked properly. What are we getting now? Cena vs johnny ace.....ugh! We went from cena vs lesnar to this! See this is my problem...if lesnar had won we could be seeing something much more interesting now such as lesnar vs punk or lesnar vs orton or even lesnar vs hhh! Lesnar has limited dates in his contract so wwe need to use those dates as best as possible to make the most money.....and so far they have not done it. I know its still seriously early but lesnar can make wwe a whole lot of money. Extreme rules ppv was amazing and im so glad i payed and supported wwe for it. It came across as a ''legitimate'' sport for the first time in a long time! However that ''legitimacy'' was barely visible on raw except in the opening segment. Cena was back to being cheesy as alway...*sigh! Whats sad is over the limit has an awesome match being bryan vs punk but i guarantee it will not do great in ppv buys and that blame will fall on punk and bryan when it should fall on ace and cena. Laurinitis vs cena just doesnt interest me and im pretty sure im not the only one.
