Week 1
So much had occured over the weekend, Starrcade III, the biggest show of the year for the NWA kicked off 2012 with 6 new champions, talk about an exciting start of the year as Nitro would kick off with a bang.
[Play Priceless]
"Now, I'm sure all of you simpletons are quite...confused over what happened last night, we can explain. You see, last year, we in respect, got our asses kicked and we knew the only way to get the Tag Team titles back was to completely, throw the scent off that we would ever be a tag team ever again. You see we knew, with LOD, Demoliton and other such tag teams to follow that we, had to be more cunning, more crafty, smarter than the rest of the teams you see here. And the plan went without a hitch, I went on to being the quote enquote 'bad guy' and you simpltons cheered on Cody as the 'good guy' when in truth, we were pulling your strings all along. The plan was, well, as we like to call it, Priceless."
He handed it over to Cody.
"Why do you think we kept fueding over the last year, to completely throw the scent off that no one saw the plan right before their eyes. In fact, if you look back at World War, we teamed up and took men down and yet no one thought we were working together. As far as the special relationship between myself and my wasted rape of a brother, after he gets finished with the therapy, if he wants to try and...rekindle any kind of kinship or bond or hell any kind of relationship, he can come crawling on his hands and knees and kiss the feet of someone that unlike him, actually brought prestigue, worth and best of all value to the Rhodes name. Until then, if you're not Priceless, you're worthless."
[Play Out]
This was the first match of the new year as Priceless were squaring off against The Hart Dynasty with Natalya in tow, more so to keep Maryse at bay whom everyone knew would try come hell or high water to interefere in the bout. Sadly, Priceless hadn't lost a step, they were crafty and sneaky during their bout though Dynasty be dammed if they were going to even try and give this match away, fighting tooth and nail against them. Maryse did try to interfere though Natalya be dammed if she let that happen, in fact both women got into one hell of a catfight on the floor and it was just enough of a distraction for Ted and Cody to hit Lock Stock and Barrel on Kidd, making quick work of David and scored the win. They rose their titles up, clinging them together like wine glasses, leaving the ring as Mayrse blew Natalya a kiss as we cut to the back.
Inoki was with the NWO and he was fuming, raging mad as cameras were just able to pick it up.
"Last night was a travesty for the NWO. You lost the Cruiserweight Title, you lost the chance at capturing the United States Title, You two couldn't even defeat three tag teams you were able to defeat before...and you...you lost the World Heavyweight Championship, not only that, you disgrace yourself and tapped out, pathetic. Tonight someone is getting kicked out of the NWO tonight and it's going to be either you or you," he looked over towards Keiji and Chono , "I can forgive everyone for their loses, you two, disgraced yourselves last night, losing to a bunch of children. Tonight you two are going to fight each other and the loser is gone from NWO forever."
Inoki was dead serious about this and walked off, the NWO already talking amongst themselves but tonight, something big was going to happen as we cut back to ringside.
[Play Out]
Hell of a mixed tag team here as MsChif and Sin Cara, newly crowned champions no less were squaring off against Serena and Blue Demon Jr. talk about action right here and Cara and MsChif had no problems at all mixing it up and teaming with each other, Serena tried to control the team but Demon of course was just a different breed altogether, able to work together but it was easy to see they had different ideas on how the match should run. In the end Cara took Demon to the floor with a corkscrew plauncha giving MsChif the chance to score CodeGreen on Serena for three. MsChif rose her hand up as Cara joined her in the middle of the ring celebrating as we cut to an NWA Exclusive for NWA.com post Starrcade.
"Hello This is Lord Alfred Hayes for NWA.com, I'm standing just outside John Morrison's dressing room about to get a word about the outcome of the United States Championship Scramble. Mr. Morrison if I could-"
The door would open but out from it was Melina whom closed the door behind, preventing entry.
"You wanted something?"
"Well yes we wanted some post match comments from former champion John Morrison."
"Former Champion exactly Alfred, tonight was a travesty, Morrison spent all month preparing for this match and the very title he held for a year straight was taken away from him. You know Vader getting taken out was quite unfortunate but you'd think by the time they found out he wouldn't be able to wrestle they'd give Johnathan a message 'oh we found a replacement' but no, the management team for this company loves their grand suprises and red herrings don't they? In the end, they screwed Morrison out of his match and out of his title and in his own hometown no less, the guy busted his ass all year long and Sting is the one whom gets the title match? This company, this outcome is total bullshit, if you guys want to talk to John Morrison, you're going to have to wait in line because it'll be a long time before I allow this company to screw him again."
She would slam the door right in Alfred's face as the exclusive then cut to a video package.

"In 1976, he would make his official pro wrestling debut, going on to earn the respect of his peers, traveling around the mainstays of Canada to make a name for himself. In 1984 he earned Main Stream success and became part of a tag team, only later to break out and become a singles wrestler winning the hearts of many and later became known as perhaps the best there ever could be in the known world. Triumph and Tenacity earned him many championsihps and now is given an invitation as the G1 Climax Tournament of Champions Returns and Welcomes.....Bret 'Hitman' Hart. The G1 Climax Returns this Spring and can only be seen, in the NWA.
"Ladies and Gentleman will you all please rise for your NEW NWA World Heavyweight Champion, The Icon, Sting."
[Play Out Del Rio]
"My name, My name is Alberto Del Rio and I am your new United States Champion and you already knew that, just like this guy eating ice cream, he already knew that, the chica in the pink top, she already knew that, all the little nenos and ninas they already knew that, this guy right here, in the John Morrison shirt, he didn't know it two minutes ago but guess what, he knows it now. Only, Alberto Del Rio could get fired, be asked from every single promotion to wrestle for them, enter the Royal Rumble and screw The Rock, get rehired by Senior Bobby Heenan and come to Starrcade and defeat three legends in one night, and that jobber Bret Hart, and become United States Champion. What makes matters worse is that now that I have a manager whom helped guide Alberto Del Rio on how to make an impact, NWA NOW are forced to pay me a champions wage, and this is only the beginning because mark my word, Alberto Del Rio will very soon be your New World Heavyweight Champion."
[Play Out]
Owen Hart was his opponent tonight as Del Rio would wink at him, handing the title belt over and went up against Owen. While Owen had a lot of moves to make Del Rio blink, he wasn't quite as crafty as the wily Del Rio whom had no problem gouging the eye or raking the back, Heenan on the floor encouraging him on. Owen avoided using the Sharpshooter as a trump card, keeping to his high flying tactics, catching Del Rio with a wheel kick right to the face. Owen had the advantage and looked to finish the job though Del Rio countered right into a cross arm breaker, wrenching on the arm tightly but Owen wouldn't quit, able to get his foot on the rope. Del Rio was quick though and dropped him down with an Exploder Suplex then finished him off with a running ensiguri for three. Del Rio grinned, taking his US Title and would flaunt it, moving out of the ring as he started to polish it, Rodriquez yelling out his name as Heenan pushed the fans away wanting autographs, Del Rio blowing a kiss to the crowd and walked to the back as we cut to the final break prior to the Main Event.
[Play Out]
This was scary, scary indeed as Chono and Mutoh, former tag team champions were to face each other in the ring, Chono was more of a power wrestler while Mutoh the counter striker. The fans were actually quite confused as to whom they would go for in this match, Inoki having the NWO surround the ring as they entered combat. A few times Chono and Mutoh talked back to each other, almost not wanting to fight but one stiff slap is all it took to get them fighting once again.
Chono had the advantage, slamming Mutoh down with heavy power offense, shoulder, back and knee breakers to keep him down, some members of the NWO cheering him on while others were wanting Mutoh to fight back, granted Inoki was moving around the ring screaming at both of them to kill each other.
Chono went for the finish with a powerbomb though Mutoh countered with a hurricanrana, starting to use his strikes and unorthodox style, seeming to have a mixture of Muta and Mutoh in his offense which was actually throwing Chono off, clotheslining him to the floor. Mutoh climbed the top rope and came down with a cross body, splashing down upon him and slugged over his head. Mutoh tossed him into the ring and started to work at the legs of his, knowing exactly how to keep him down though Chono wouldn't have much of that, starting to fight back by tackling him to the corner and set him on top.
He slugged hard over his head, looking for the superplex but it was countered as Muton tossed him off face first into the mat and connected with a dropkick to the face. Mutoh was on fire, taking him down with dragon screws and leg lariats, dropping Muta like elbows drops and really started to crank up the pressure, setting Chono up for the Shining Wizard though he countered right into a hard clothesline, going for the ChonoTrigger but Mutoh leaned back and back bodydropped down, coming in with a dropsault and kicked him to the floor. Chono rose up as Inoki yelled at him, slapping him over the face to get in there and fight as Chono slid inside, refueled but Mutoh used his rage against him, turning the tides again in his favor, setting him up and climbed for a moonsault but crashed and burned, Chono coming off the rope and blasted him with a Yakuza kick to the floor.
Mutoh rose to his feet, shaking his head as Inoki came over, yelling at him to get back into the ring but Mutoh pushed him out of the way. Mutoh was...fighting back as he turned and stared into the eyes of Misawa. They exchanged words as Mutoh came into the ring, using that rage to go after Chono, now they were getting stiff with powerbombs, brainbusters and piledrivers, almost as if they were trying to kill each other. Mutoh was able to lock in the Mutalock, latching on nice and tight though Chono was able to get his hand off the rope, rallying back and locked Mutoh in the STF, locking it in tightly though Mutoh was able to fight out of it, ducking a clothesline and caught Chono with the Shining Wizard but his foot snagged the rope. He dragged him over to the center of the ring, moving for the moonsault though Chono rolled out of the way.
Mutoh landed on his feet and was blasted in the face with the YakuzaKick.....for three. Chono won the match as the NWO stormed the ring and started to beat upon Mutoh, A GotoHeaven, A CCD, A Riki Lariat, a TKO then an Emerald Flowsion as they kicked him out of the ring. Mutoh was laying flat upon the floor, Inoki just shaking his head at him then would give a nod as the NWO would then attack Chono. What in the world was going on as they seriously beat the hell out of him, bashing him over the head with Gotoh's staff whom now appeared to be taking his place, dropping him down with a hard Emerald Flowsion, Inoki getting a hold of a mic.
"Born in America....die in America."
What in the world did that mean as the NWO would start to file out, Gotoh going back into the ring and dropped Chono with the Shouten for good measure and left the ring, spitting on Mutoh on the way out as even the fans were confused on this one as we were forced to go to a commercial. We came back as we got footage of Chono and Mutoh being helped to the back, barely able to walk after that mugging as we were pulled in by Justin Roberts.
"Ladies and Gentleman will you all please rise for your NEW NWA World Heavyweight Champion, The Icon, Sting."
[Play Out]
It was Sting alright as he stood in the middle of the ring, slowly opening his jacket and revealed the World Heayvweight Championship, unhooking it from his waist and slowly rose it up for the crowd to see, victory, was attained at Starrcade III and he was now, the face, the head, the leader of the NWA.
[Play Out]
What was this? Ricky Steamboat coming down to the ring as he though had the IWGP Title over his waist, looking at Sting in the eye as he removed the belt from his waist and slowly rose it up. Well, this was a statement as Steamboat was able to take away the richest prize in all of Japan, the most prestigious title yet as Sting then answered back, raising his NWA World Title up in the air to a loud crowd pop. Both of them going eye to eye, what did this mean exactly, was this a victory, a challenge or both as Nitro would fade to black.
Main Event Results
The NWO were seriously doing some massive rebranding as the show barely got on he air as they were attacking DragonKid, yelling at him and saying he was worthless to the group though Ultimo Dragon made the save telling them to back off and leave him be, Inoki challenge both of them to a match at the end of the night.
Women's Champion MsChif was in action going up against a local competitor but did indeed put her women's championship on the line. In a ten minute bout of wrestling MsChif was able to score the win with a Mutalock.
John Morrison was set for action but did not come out during his music, instead, Melina told the crowd that tonight he had the night off and someone else would wrestle in his place, taking up the last at the last minute was Vader whom was all not too happy about being out os Starrcade, taking out his aggressions on Morrison's would be opponent, Justin Gabriel.
Tag Team Champions Priceless came down to the ring, handing their opponents money to lay down for the evening, after gladly accepting the money Priceless would cheap shot them and beat them down, taking the money back and left to the back.
DragonKid and Ultimo Dragon would team up but they were faced off agaisnt Koji and Gotoh and this was a hard contest for any tag team that dared enter their path. While Ultimo Dragon did his best, Dragonkid was the weaklink in the team and was dropped with a Shoten for the victory.
In the Main Event of the evening, IWGP World Champion Ricky Steamboat had to defend his title against Dean Malenko. These two had one spectacular bout in the center of the ring with so many reversals and counters the crowd was awed, in the end however Rick Steamboat was able to retain his title at the 22 minute mark, countering a Cloverleaf attempt into a small package as Main Event Wrestling came to a close.
Week 2
"Ladies and Gentleman welcome to Monday Nitro, my god Eric Bishoff has completely lost his mind, tonight we have a Huge Main Event Planned as IWGP World Champion Ricky Steamboat under the open challenge clause, must defend against NWO's Hirooki Gotoh. "
"Oh pipe down humaniod that fails in compairson to Alberto Del Rio, he's here and he has a huge announcement to make that's going to shake the very foundation of Pro Wrestling."
"You're just saying that because he's your client."
"So? He's the United States Champion and you're not."
[Play Out]
MsChif was opening the night off and she was having a one on one bout with Goddess Eve Torres and yes, she hammed it up to say the least. Eve actually blew a kiss towards MsChif to start the bout off and you had to give the devil her due, Torres put up one hell of a fight against MsChif though she was no match for the submission game, tapping out to a triangle choke. MsChif rose up and celebrated in victory, though it was ill in nature as she turned around and was hit with the dambest clothesline by Beth Phoenix whom was pissed off. Eveleft the ring as Phoenix pulled MsChif to her feet and dropped her with a GlamSlam. She rolled to the floor and got a hold of a steel chair, opening it up and dropped MsChif with a GlamSlam over the chair. She still wasn't done, dragging her to the floor and would kick the top portion of the stairs off and dropped MsChif with a GlamSlam right upon the stairs. Referees flew down to the ring to stop her from doing god knew what else more to her as Beth just looked down at her not at all happy at her loss at Starrcade and left as we cut to the back.
"Ladies and Gentleman I'm standing here with former United States Champion John Morrison. Now Jomo things have been a bit wacky as of late and the world wants to know when you're going to cash in your rematch for the United States Championship against Alberto Del Rio?"
"I'll handle this question," Melina would put a hand over his lips, "These fans aren't worthy and this company isn't worthy of your words. When is he going to cash in his rematch? I'll tell you when, when he's damn well ready. Right now he's still dealing with the wounds that this company gave him so Del Rio can hold onto our title for a little while longer. After I get done with Johnathan, he's going to be a lot more aggressive a lot more stand up and not only will he get his title back but also the World Heavyweight Championship from the company golden boy Sting whom only wrestled one dammed match to quote en quote 'earn' his shot at the World Title. For now, this interview is over."
She would then snap her fingers as Morrison would walk off with her, Kevin just looking on as we hit a break. We come back and Priceless were in Bishoff's office, arguing.
"We are the tag team champions no matter what you say Boss."
"No The Rhodes Brothers won the tag team titles not Priceless, I don't care what planning you guys may have had it doesn't work that way."
"Listen here, Bish, we are the best tag team you have around here, don't be stupid and make some kind of decision to screw us because for 16 months this company tried that."
"No, Codes, I'm not going to do that, I'm going to 'allow' you to hold onto those titles, but there is a catch, tonight both of you are going to be in singles action, if one of you loses you must defend your tag team titles at Slamboree. If Both of you lose, I get to choose your opponents."
"Heh, that seems fair but just remember, no matter whom you pick for us to wrestle is a waste of time, because if they're not Priceless, they're worthless."
They left the office and Bishoff would grin from ear to ear, leaning back in his chair as we cut back to ringside.
[Play Out]
Sin Cara blazed ito the ring full of fire as he was squaring off against La Parka in a cruiserweight bout for the ages. While La Parka had the strength in this bout and had no problem using it against Sin Cara, he was just a bit too fast for him and was able to finish La Parka off with the Final Sin, scoring the victory. He rose his hand up in victory, raising the title up in the air hearing the fans chant his name as he started to make his way to the back.
"Hold the phone there Grish before you say anything, My client, Alberto Del Rio is in the building."
"He's what?"
"He's in the building, his big announcement is coming, haha just you wait, ratings are going to spike to new limits we might just have to to do a three hour show for the amount of celebrating we have to do."
"Calm down Heenan."
[Play Out]
Ted DiBiase going up against CM Punk, well that was a bit of a surprise as the fans were screaming his name. Punk accomplished his mission at Starrcade and now was ready to lock up with DiBiase, keeping quite defensive actually and had no problem actually playing around with him some being snarky all the while. DiBiase was all serious though, having no problem taking him down though one miscalculation cost him as Punk hit him to the floor. Maryse would dab his head with a towel though Punk grabbed the towel and blew his nose in it then tossed it back at Ted. That of course pissed him off as he charged into the ring, putting the beat down on Punk nearly getting the win with Dreamstreet a few moments later though Punk was able to slide out of it and dropped him with a GTS. He would have gone for the pin but Maryse was on the apron yelling at the ref.
Punk would move over, grabbing her by the head and planted a five second frencher on her, she fell to the floor gagging obviously as Ted swung at Punk with the Tag Team Title but missed, Punk dropping Ted with another GTS and scored the victory. Oh this wasn't good for Priceless so far, one loss meaning they were going to defend their titles at Slamboree as Punk left ringside, actually saying screw it and left through the crowd, finding a vender and tossed free ice cream bars out to the crowd, Ted was seething.
We come back from commercial and Ted was yelling, Cody trying to calm him down.
"Settle down Ted, we've been tag team champions before so defending them at Slamboree is no problem."
"Yeah but you still have a match Cody."
"Chill, I already know whom it's going to be, he's picking Dustin and trust me, he's not getting the surprise on me."
The camera cut away unable to hear their plan as we move back to ringside.
[Play Del Rio]
"My name, my name is Alberto Del Rio and as your United States Champion it is my dream, my aspiration my goal to be the best champion that is or any other company has seen, which is why I am here tonight. You see I have developed quite a reputation over the last eight or so months and have already accomplished so much, I mean, I've defeated so many men and have aquired so many accolades that tonight, is a special, special announcement. Tonight will be the 21st Del Rio Challenge and I am undefeated when it comes to them which means after tonight, and after I win, my streak will be 21 and 0, which means, I defeat, The Undertaker."
"Alright yes, yes yes yes hell of an annoucement."
"Sit down Bobby."
"Shut up Humaniod this is a hell of an announcement, Del Rio beat The Undertaker and he will tonight with one more victory you watch."
Del Rio would grin towards the camera and looked towards the center stage waiting for someone to come through the curtain, anyone would have done, in his eyes, he already won. He would call out and almost yell, pacing back and forth with a smile raising his title up saying he'd put the title on the line as well.
[Play Out]
Yes, Yes it was John Morrison as he started to make his way down to the ring, the fans were pumped behind this one as Del Rio was ready though Melina quickly ran down to ringside, stopping him from entering the ring and told him 'he's not ready yet.' Morrison heard Del Rio taunting him on but Melina kept pushing him back, calling him Johnanthan as opposed to John as slowly he was being convinced and pushed back by Melina, the fans not at all happy about this as Morrison would head back, he then moved Melina out of the way and made a mad sprint to the ring, tackling Del Rio and started to punch the hell out of him, this was just a fight now.
Refs flew down to the ring to break this fight up, Melina yelling at him to 'knock it off' as they were pulled apart and Morrison would leap ove the refs and attacked Del Rio again, this was a complete brawl as they were pulled apart again, Del Rio able to break through and smashed Morrison's skull with the US Title and left the ring. He rose the belt up and looked at Melina, giving her a wink as she would slap him over the face and hit the ring to help Morrison to his feet.
Del Rio would grin towards them, heading to the back knowing again, he got the best on John Morrison tonight as we cut to the back and Inoki was talking to Gotoh about 'The Plan' though it was hard to hear what he was saying with the crowd already being hot from the Del Rio/Morrison skirmish as another camera catches up to Ricky Steamboat whom was lacing his boots up and preparing for war as his match was due up in just a few moments.
[Play Out]
Cody Rhodes was grinning from ear to ear, he already knew whom his opponent was as he stretched and relaxed on the rope, acting oh so cocky in that typical Rhodes fashion looking to the ramp. He would swagger back and forth, stretching out but then got a hold of the mic.
"Okay it's obvious my brother Goldust needs time to put his girlie make up on but to be honest Dustin, just come out how you are and take the beating you're about to get. I mean it's obvious you're the one Bishoff chose tonight, he's not going to pull an HBK and call for help from a Bingo Hall Promotion such as ROH to help his plumeting pay per view market. I mean at the rate they're going right now they'll probably recruit guys from Chikara to participate at Wrestlemania and knowing my brother, he'll be there, he'll do anything for a quick buck or something with a gimmick in it. Though it could be much worse though, he could be jobbing to Chris Sabin. Okay Dustin I gave you enough time, I know you're back there and I know you're all geared up, lets not waste anymore of these fans time and come get the raping you're about to recieve, courtesy of Dashing, Cody Rhodes."
[Play Out]
Goldust came down to the ring...in street clothes and through the crowd, jumping Cody from behind and started to punch and stomp at him, letting him get to a vertical base and slapped him over the face as the bell rang. Dust would then pounce Cody again, beating the hell out of him not letting him get in any kind of offense and threw him to the floor, now it was getting nasty as he was tossed right into the steel stairs then tackled onto the announce table. Dust would toss him from the table as the bell would sound, both of them getting counted out as Cody was rammed into the barricade, Dust didn't seem to care as he went for a steel chair, aiming to blast Cody's head off though he was stopped by Ted DiBiase whom jerked the chair from behind him. Dust would miss a swing attempt and spinebustered him to the floor, turning around and took a hard shot himself in the face by Cody.
The match was already thrown out as Cody would then start to beat upon him with the chair, watching him rise up and he and Ted took him down with Lock Stock and Barrel with the chairs in hand, his head and knee taking the beating. Priceless would spit at him and slowly left the ring, yes they were going to have to defend their titles, but this was a statement sent indeed as they took their titles and headed to the back, Goldust needing help to the back as we cut to a break.

Time for the Main Event as IWGP Champion Ricky Steamboat was set to face Hirooki Gotoh and the way the NWO has been lately, he was a very dangerous man. The match was on as these two locked up, Gotoh having the strength but Steamboat knew how to use leverage and had a stronger counter game against the young Gotoh but he kept on very high alert. Gotoh was tossed around a bit in the early half of the match, being tossed to the floor as he paced a bit, knowing he had a 20 count before having to re enter. Once getting back into the ring he started to turn the dial up, hitting Steamboat with stiff offense though again it wasn't working as well as he thought, having to change tactics and let his strength do the talking.
He was able to overpower Steamboat, turning the tides a little bit and got a few near falls but Steamboat was not going to give up without a fight, countering his moves and started to keep the momentum in his favor, using his speed to keep Gotoh guessing but one miscalculation cost him, smacking into the rope as Gotoh started to dish it out on Steamboat and he was being rough about it.
A couple more near falls but Steamboat kept pressing on dispite being tossed to the floor. Gotoh kept to his powergame, powerbombing Steamboat right upon the stairs, remembering his back still had to be hurting from Starrcade. Gotoh slammed him into the barricade then back into the ring where he focused right upon that back and spine, stretching it out the best he could trying ot wear him down but Steamboat refused to give in dispite the pain.
Gotoh went to seal the deal with the GotoHeaven though Steamboat fought out of it, able to now turn the tides back in his favor, taking him down with a piledriver and climbed the rope, coming for the flying chop and connected over the head, holding his back in pain as he was in a bit too much pain to make the pin, needing a moment. Once he recovered it was a bit too late, Gotoh back on his feet and back on the offense, keeping Steamboat down with some heavy slams.
He signaled the end of the game as he pulled Steamboat up, trying for the GotoHeaven but against Steamboat countered out of it, ducking a punch and dropped him with a Double Underhook Snap DDT, planting him in the ground and scored the win. He rose his hand up in victory, still IWGP Champion though was blasted over the head with the staff, Steamboat busted wide open. Gotoh would start to beat the hell out of him as Inoki flew down to the ring with Chosyu, Taka, Jinsei and Koji, Misawa taking his time getting to the ring as they all started to beat the crap out of Ricky Steamboat.
He wouldn't take it lying down, Steamboat starting to fight back, chopping the hell out of them and dropkicked the world. Steamboat was not about to take anymore crap from the NWO though one Emerald Flowsion turned the tides back in the NWO's corner as they pounced him like sharks.

Yes, the lights cut out as Sting was in the ring with the ball bat in hand, starting to hit everything in his path, taking his jacket off as Steamboat came to life and started to fight back against the NWO, Misawa and Inoki being the last two clotheslined out of the ring as Steamboat and Sting looked at each other, almost as if saying 'thanks for the save' as the NWO encircled the ring, looking ready as they stormed the ring at full strength, Steamboat and Sting deffinately outnumbered at this point.

Out came the Horsemen, the cavalry arrived in full as it was a full scale war now, the NWO and NWA at complete war with each other as some of it spilled into the crowd, some fans ran for their lives even as bodies were flying all over the place, it took some help with security as team NWA stood tall in the ring, ready for more as the NWO stormed the ring.

"Settle down settle down, we're not ending Nitro on a note of Chaos, I am the general manager here and 2012 is not going to begin with a death of wrestlers. You 12 men want a war, fine, next week on Monday Nitro, the Main Event will feature Misawa, Inoki, Gotoh, Koji, Chosyu and Taka against The Four Horsemen, Ricky Steamboat and Sting in a 12 Man Tag."
What an announcement for Next week, team NWA against team NWO 2.0, a who's who of pro wrestling in this one as the fans were screaming for them to fight now but they would have to wait until next week as the show would fade to black.
Main Event Results
The show kicked off with Serena going one on one with Natalya, looking to score a win here tonight as she wanted a piece of that title as these two women literally killed each other. With a little bit of help from Blue Demon Jr. or lack there of, Natalya was able to score the win with the burning clothesline, Serena pissed off that he screwed up the spot.
Sin Cara was in action but this time it was against Jinsei from the NWO and this was quite a mismatch though Jinsei could care less. The match carried on and Jinsei missed the cartwheel back elbow as Sin Cara rolled forward and caught him with the FInal Sin for the win.
Next match featured Justin Gabriel squaring off against Evan 'Air' Bourne in a fast paced cruiserweight match as both of them went to blows and literally stole the show of Main Event. Bourne was fast and Gabriel was crafty a bit too crafty actually as he was nearly able to score the win with the Goodnyte Kick though Evan ducked it and countered with a rising knee to the face, looking for the win though Gabriel somehow locked in Purgatory, knocking Evan out for the victory. Gabriel would grin, happy with himself that he was able to score the win over Bourne, making his leave.
Fourth match of the night saw on very pissed off Vader whom still was searching for the man whom took him out at Starrcade, taking his aggression out on one poor Owen Hart whom was, well, he did his best against Vader but was beaten. Vader went to do added damage when Bret came down to make the save, staring Vader off whom pushed Bret on his ass, warning him he might be next as the search continued.
And in the main event would see NWA World Champion Sting square off against NWO's Great Koji whom made a special appearance for the night, getting a shot at the title. While Koji was crafty, this was Sting afterall he knew every trick in the book and them some able to avoid the CCD, catching him with a Stinger Splash then a Scorpion Deathdrop for the victory. His win was ill fated as the NWO stormed the ring to take out the NWA World Champion but Ricky Steamboat with a chair in hand was able to provide a bit of back up as the two of them, Sting able to find his ball bat, fended them off though Inoki and Misawa stared on, wanting more than a piece of them, they wanted their titles back as Main Event Wrestling Came To A Close.

This was opening Nitro? One hell of a fatal fourway bout between Blue Demon Jr., Evan Bourne, Justin Gabriel and Ultimo Dragon, with so mcuh high flying moves and reversals and counters the match was going ten thousand miles an hour. Dragon obviously was the veteran in this match, schooling all three of them and having the most death defying moves out of the four but Bourne wasn't afraid to take it to the air either, while Gabriel kept to his striking game, Demon kept to his submissions. The match carried out for fifteen minutes as it was down to Gabriel and Bourne going to blows, both of them trying to seal the deal though Gabriel went for the Goodnyte Kick, Bourne ducking and caught him with a german suplex, Gabriel flipped out of it as Demon and Dragon re entered the ring, looking to score the win for themselves though Gabriel and Bourne were able to knock them down, Bourne quickly hitting Gabriel with an inside cradle though both of their shoulders were on the mat as the ref counted to three.
Well this was a problem as Bourne and Gabriel rose their hands but...who was the winner as they began to plead their case, and this was also for a shot at the Cruiserweight title. The ref, well, was a bit at a loss for words as he had counted both of them down, kind of a dumb thing to do as Bourne and Gabriel left the ring, mainly to talk with Bishoff about what the decision was as the ref was right now, forced to call it a draw.
We cut to the back as the Four Horsemen were discussing strategy over tonights main event, already having a plan in motion as Rick Steamboat came into their locker room, though they were a bit, dismissive of him telling him they had everything under control. Ricky just wanted to make sure everyone was on the same page though the real question was, did anyone see Sting or have words with him, for the Horsemen, that was someone they couldn't count on or trust, mainly since, Flair never was 'buddy buddy' with Sting in the first place.
We then cut to another part of the arena, more so the parking lot as Vader had a steel pipe in hand, the camera man was scared to death of him but was told to stay put as Vader was waiting for someone.

Damn this was going to be a tough one, Sid and Serena teaming up against Bret Hart and Natalya. Sid had the power and had no problem tossing Bret around like a ragged doll though Bret could take a shit kicking, having no problem keeping a wrestling game against Sid. Once the women got involved, Natalya kept to her powergame but also knew to keep it techniqual, granted Serena had little to no problem avoiding any kind of submission, using cheap tactics to turn the tides in the Regime's Favor. After a few moments Natalya was down for the count as Sid entered the ring, going after Natalya whom thankfully got the tag in to Bret whom was not about to let him lay a finger on her, going after Sid with actually heavy offense.
Sid turned things around, looking for a powerbomb though Bret was saved by Natalya whom caught a blind tag. He dropped Bret and went after her, dropping her with a big boot and tagged Serena in whom started to put the heavy on her. She went to seal the deal with a Twist of Hate though Natalya fought out and caught her with a Burning Clothesline for the three. She rose up but Sid would clothesline her down, picking her up for a powerbomb but Bret made the save taking the knee out, punching the hell out of him though Sid slammed him face first into the turnbuckle, getting a steel chair from the floor.
[Play Promo]
The hell was that as Sid looked to the video wall, yelling out, something incoherent but it gave Bret enough time to grab the chair and bash it over Sid's head, knocking him to the floor, the threat gone as Sid backed away with Serena, yelling that he'd get Bret next time as he moved through the curtain as we cut to a promo.

Starting his career young in 2000, he toured the Independant circut for nearly 6 years before making a huge splash in the main stream circuit though is known for not only having a silver tongue but also a sharp wit to equal his own skill. With his name and face plastered in IWA, ECW, ROH, WWF and now NWA, whether on the side of good or evil, The G1 Climax Proudly Welcome, CM Punk. The G1 Climax Tournament Returns This Spring To The NWA.
We come back form that as Gabriel and Bourne were talking with Bishoff, both of them claiming to have won the match after he watched the replay a few times.
"Okay I can see exactly what happened, yes it was kind of a bad call on the ref but he made it a draw, since both of your shoulders were down it goes to a draw. Since it was for a shot at the Cruiserweight Title I'll put both of you in the match. That's right, at Slamboree it'll be Justin Gabriel, Evan Bourne and Sin Cara, triple threat match, hopefully that sounds good?"
They would look to each other then nodded back as they left his office, Bishoff grinning as we cut back to ringside.

Tiger Mask IV making a surprise appearance tonight as he stormed into the ring but he was going one on one with Dragonkid whom offered him a handshake prior to the bout. After shaking these two went to war, putting the crowd to bed on this one as stiff wasn't even the word as these two hit the ropes and flew through the air, Kid almost scoring the win but Tiger was able to drop him with a whirling suplex for the win. Mask rose to his feet, shaking his hand in respect and took the victory, signaling his hands over his waist seeming to be title bound as we move to the parking lot, Vader having that pipe in hand as a limo pulled up.
Vader moved over to the limo and started to smash the windows and reached in, unable to reach whom he was searching for as he ripped the door off the hinge and tossed it aside. The limo driver came out of the car to yell at him but Vader threw him through one of the windows. Vader climbed into the limo with the pipe as the other door opened and pulled out, Alberto Del Rio. Vader came out from the other end, chasing him with the lead pipe as Del Rio made haste into the arena, Vader pushing the cameraman out of the way as he made chase after Del Rio...what the hell was all that about?

Priceless was up, laughing all the while as they were squaring off again against Hart Dynasty, a rematch from Nitro two weeks ago as Priceless kept to their double team antics while Dynasty did their best to stay diverse and keep ahead of the game. Priceless did have Maryse in their corner but Natalya was a good bit of back up as well, keeping her in check. As the match progressed Priceless and their ways, obviously were starting to gain the advantage, having tricked Dynasty and caught Kidd in Lock Stock and Barrell, going for the cover though the count was broken up by David whom was pushed back, Priceless going for a cheap shot with the tag belt though Kidd avoided it, Priceless missing a step as Kidd fought back. Maryse tried to distract the ref which actually did work as Dynasty hit the Heart Attack but again, the ref was distracted, Natalya dragging her off the apron and those two went to blows.
Dynasty got back in the game but again Priceless was able to get the ref distracted as Cody blasted David over the head with tag team belt, going for the pin but he forgot he wasn't the legal man as Kidd tackled Cody to the floor, the ref forcing Maryse back to the floor as she tried to get in as Natalya hit DiBiase from behind with a low blow then hit a burning clothesline, rolling out of the ring as David dropped him with a running powerslam and scored the win.
Wow what an upset that was as Dynasty celebrated in the ring, getting the best of Priceless as they would yell at the ref about the 'outside' interference but you couldn't call what you couldn't see, Dynasty continuing to celebrate as we cut to a commercial. We come back and Priceless was pissed over the loss, yelling at Bishoff about the interference.
"That was crap Bish and you know it we got screwed out there tonight."
"Yeah and what makes it worse is that it's in this god forsaken country of Canada that it had to happen."
"Cody we're not in Canada we're in Charlotte NC."
"Well they're just as drunk as a Canadian would be and speak less english. Point is, you need to reverse the decision because those Dynasty people cheated to win tonight."
"So I take it you guys are upset?"
"Of course we are, this is a travesty and they need to be reprimanded for their actions."
"Wow, then you guys are going to be even more upset when you face them at Slamboree for the Tag Team Championships...especially now that they have..a win over you guys. Now if you think that's unfair, we can make it a ladder match or a cage match or no holds barred but I think for all intents and purposes we'll keep it straight up. Oh..and for the record, I wouldn't try messing with them prior to the match because if you do, you'll be stripped of the titles immediately."
Priceless did NOT like the sound of that as they would storm off, not in the best of moods over this, Bishoff laughing a bit, another brilliant idea he thought of.

Oh this wasn't right, this wasn't right at all as Beth Phoenix was going one on one with Eve Torress whom actually begged to just leave the ring. Phoenix grabbed her by the hair, moving over to the turnbuckle and ripped the padding off and smashed Eve's face into the exposed steel. Eve won by DQ but Beth didn't care as he repeatidly bashed her face into the exposed steel and dropped her down. She would move over and tossed her to floor, moving to the stairs and dragged Eve up and would Glam Slam her from the stairs through the table. Refs flew down to stop her before she did anymore damage, Eve yelling in pain as Phoenix left ringside, pissed off though cameras caught up to the back as Del Rio was heading to Bishoff's office but he didn't get far as he was tackled through the door as Vader started to beat the crap out of him. Del Rio actually having to use a computer monitor to smash over Vader's head, moving behind Bishoff whom was yelling.
"What the helll is going on here?"
"This son of a bitch cost me my match as Starrcade."
"Oi Gonyo, hi loco con cabesa, ey silencio."
Vader literally tossed the desk aside as Bishoff spoke up.
"Del Rio I'm going to ask this once, did you have anything to do with Vader being injured at Starrcade? We are expecting security footage back any day now."
"No I said no Pendeho, I wasn't even in the building the time Vader was taken out."
Vader didn't believe that one dammed bit as he went after Del Rio though Bishoff broke it up before it escalated.
"Okay okay calm down, it's obvious that, well, Vader thinks you did it and deserves some retribution...say...for the title he didn't get a chance to earn."
"What...no way am I going to let that happen, this is an injustice, last week I defeated the Undertaker for Christ sake-"
"And someone whom has beaten the Undertaker should go on to defend his title, say at...Slamboree and if you chose NOT to defend it you'll be stripped of it immediately."
Del Rio would growl some, looking into the eyes of Vader whom just laughed at him. Del Rio quickly leaving the room as Vader snarled with a long grin, Del Rio, was dead.

Time for the Main Event and this was a huge one at that, Sting and Misawa starting things off as they stared in the middle of the ring. They would have gone to blows but Inoki got into the ring as Steamboat cut him off. Both champions staring off against their former champions, with the snap of a finger, the rest of the NWO came into the ring as the Four Horsemen did the same, six on six stare off as the ref begged them to get to their corners...and the fight was on. Bodies were flying all over the place as the ref would restore order, Sting and Misawa actually starting things off as intended, having almost a repeat of their bout at Starrcade as Sting tagged out, letting Arn Anderson have a shot at Former World Champion, taking him down with a Spinebuster but got a two. Arn continued to put the heavy on him until Misawa fought back, able to work Arn down to his back and tagged in Chosyu whom had no problem using his power game against him.
These two behemoths tossled it up for five good minutes, Chosyu nearly scoring the RikiLariat though Arn avoided it and tagged in Ole whom started to fight the hell out of Chosyu though was surpised as Riki was able to actually overpower him this time around, suplexing the hell out of him and tagged in Koji whom took liberty with his stiff kicks, knocking Ole to the corner, wrong corner as Tully was tagged in, giving Koji a lesson in wrestling 101. Tully was quick and had a finess game, dropping him with pile drivers and scoop slams, coming off the rope with elbow after elbow, finishing him off with a backbreaker and went for the pin but Gotoh broke it up.
Tully didn't mind, going back to working on Koji but was cheapshotted with a rope guillotine, Koji now starting to work on Tully before tagging in Jinsei whom would use the heavy submission game, trying to keep Tully down but he was a Horseman afterall, fighting back in the later bit though Jinsei dropped him with a DDT. He would tag in Inoki whom loved toying with his prey now, hitting him from all angles within the ring, hitting him with high angle offense and sickening slams, aiming more so for his neck. Inoki lined him up and charged in with a running ensiguri but missed, Tully dropped him with a snap suplex then three hard bodyslams, tagging in Flair whom went crazy on him, punching and jabbing at him as he knocked him to the corner, chopping away like a mad man.
Flair, after god knows how many chops would continue his work on Inoki, dropping him with atomic drops and chopblocks to the knee, dropping Flair like knees over the skull and went to lock in the figure four but was kicked off. Flair charged right in once again, biting to his face and started chopping the hell out of him but Inoki began to fight back with headbutts. Inoki started to turn up the dial in the offense but Flair wasn't about to be tricked in any fashion, gouging to the eye but was dropped with a spine buster, Inoki tagging in Misawa as he went right after Flair, hitting vicious elbow smashes and knee lifts, taking Flair down with a heavy running powerslam.
He gave Sting a dirty look as he dragged Flair up dropping him with a full nelson slam then came down hard with a moonsault but the count was broken up by Arn which would enlist the NWO to storm the ring then the rest of team NWA to hit the ring as total chaos ensued. It took the ref a few moments to restore order as Misawa tried going to finish off Flair with an Emerald Flowsion but Flair gouged at the eye and hit a low blow, making the hot tag to Steamboat whom saulted into the ring, he and Misawa not having any love loss at all as these two went at it.
Steamboat had the early advantage but Misawa deffinately had a plan in mind, able to rope Steamboat to his corner as the NWO took cheap shots at him, granting hi ma chance to turns the tides over. Misawa would use quick tags to keep Steamboat down with Gotoh, Koji and Inoki whom got in a lot of quick take downs, Misawa tagging back in and put the beating to Steamboat.
He had him in the corner, beating away on him and set him up but Steamboat fought off and back, coming down with a cross body and tagged in Sting as Sting and Misawa went at it again, the Starrcade rematch back in motion.
These two went to war for five full minutes as Sting was able to fight out of the Emerald Flowsion and dropped him with the Scorpion Deathdrop which prompted Inoki into the ring whom caught him with a running ensiguri. Steamboat then saulted from the rope with a flying chop over his head. He rose and was blasted with the RikiLariat from Chosyu whom was picked up and slammed with a Spinebuster from Ole. Ole turned and was dropped with the GoToHeaven from Gotoh whom was tackled right to the floor by Arn whom caught him with a shoulder block. Arn rose up as Koji caught him with a spin kick right over the head. Koji laughed at him until Tully picked him up and dropped him with the dambest backsuplex this side of the NWA. Tully rose as Jinsei would dropkick him to the floor but Jinsei caught himself being tossed out by Flair whom was hit with a big boot by Misawa.
He quickly moved to Sting and rose him up but he fought out of it, catching him with a StingerSplash and went for the Deathdrop but somehow Misawa countered it right into the Flowsion positon and came down though did it in an awkward style, doing an Emerald Driver nearly breaking Sting's neck as he covered....for the three.
Wow that was a huge upset and that was a new move that finished Sting off, Misawa raising his hand up in victory but the war wasn't over, the NWO continued to fight against team NWA as the ref left the ring saying 'screw this' he probably had a wife and kids at home and didn't need this shit. The Horsemen started to do battle against the NWO while Steamboat was tossed into the ring, he appeared to be the main object of their affection, the Horsemen taken out on the floor as Gotoh got his staff, beating the hell out of Steamboat while Koji would assist, Misawa and Inoki putting the beating on Sting, making sure both of them walked out of here bloody and beaten.

Holy shit! Masahiro Chono and Mutoh were back as they stormed into the ring having steel chairs in hand, hitting Gotoh and Koji out of the ring as Inoki and Misawa fled just in time, the rest of the NWO members hit the ring but Mutoh and Chono were not screwing around tonight hitting them with steel chairs as they fled the ring. Now this was odd, Chono and Mutoh defending team NWA as Sting and Steamboat rose to their feet, looking towards the opposition then their savours, again, this was quite the odd scenerio as they looked on, what the hell was going on and what was about to develop as the show would fade to black.
Main Event Results
The show opened up with Beth Phoenix putting a beating to Victoria, it was a very stiff match yes but in the mood Phoenix was in there was no way in hell Victoria could outmach her strength as Phoenix scored the win.
Melina went on a rampage saying it wasn't fair that Vader was being granted a US Title shot before Morrison granted Bishoff reminded her that 'Morrison wasn't ready' and Vader stepped up though granted Morrison a shot at the title granted he could defeat Vader on Nitro coming Monday.
Next match would see Tiger Mask IV square off against Taka Michnoku as these two had a Jr. Heavyweight Classic with Taka able to just squeak out the victory with an inside cradle but it wasn't an easy one.
Priceless were in tag action but also said they were being screwed out of their titles at Slamboree but there was no way in hell they were going to drop them to Dynasty as they faced off against Ultimo Dragon and DragonKid in a quick tag bout that saw Priceless steal the victory.
Antonio Inoki cut a promo in the back saying the reason why Chono and Mutoh were cut from the NWO was because one was born in a America and not a true Japanese man and the other was jealous of his real main stream success and said he found replacements in two younger, stronger, better wrestlers in Koji and Gotoh, perhaps a challenge.
Semi Main Event saw Bret 'Hitman' Hart in rare form but tonight he was going to get some revenge on Vader for what he attempted last week. In one hell of a match Hart was able to mow Vader down, nearly scoring the win but Vader turned the tides around, tossing Bret to the floor and grabbed a steel chair, hitting Bret over the back causing the match to get tossed out.
And in the Main Event Ricky Steamboat under the Open Challenge Clause faced off against Antonio Inoki, this was quite the surprise indeed as he had Gotoh and Koji at ringside to supervise the match. As the match carried out Steamboat and Inoki had one hell of a bout, in fact it was almost as good as their Starrcade match and right when Steamboat nearly had the match won, Gotoh and Koji would storm the ring, going right after Steamboat as the match was tossed out, but the real surprise was Chono and Mutoh coming down to the ring to make the save, ironically to save Steamboat as Gotoh, Inoki and Koji backed off. The team of ChoMutoh coming to Steamboat's Aid, strange wasn't it as Main Event came to a close.
