hehehe fuck yea dude, that was fuckin awesome. he actually suspended now for dat shit, but wow that was awesome. and he was right on everything 2, i been saying some of this for 3 years now but punk took it 2 a different level. i also thought it was funny the mic didn't go off til he mentioned HHH lol.
im about 95% on this being real and 5% on it a work, im surprised they let him go that long. wit him ripping HHH, vince, stephanie, laurinites, and flipping the crowd off at the very end, i think he really gone and im glad for him 2, get outta that crap hole. would love 2 c him go back to ROH, just in time 2 wit them getting back on tv in a few months

Yeh it was very awesome! Thought it was a bit extreme talking about vince mc mahon death though. Other than that it was classic! Yeh i hope this suspension deal is a work. I wanna see cm punk next week. Yano im not sure if this is correct but i heard his contract actually expires in september and not july 17th as hes claiming...which makes me wonder was it a work. Awesome stuff!

The Punk thing was a complete work, look if he started saying crap like that his mic would be cut of straight away, the fact it took five minutes and only was cut because he was about to tell a Vince story. The suspension adds to this whole facade, remember Danielson from last year. Similar boat, Will have a simialr outcome, guarantee it!
Look back at when he was leaving ROH and coming to WWE, the blogs and tweets and everything he is doing is reeking of when he left ROH in 05/06. I am not saying it's a bad thing. In fact doing it on a national level is a great idea, It's just very similar so it makes me smile when he does stuff like this, almost paying homage to himself without many people getting it.
If this was a complete shoot and was not meant to happen, His mic would be cut straight away. Case in point Matt Hardy in 2005 when he kept shouting crap out they would cut the microphone, Okay later we found out it was a work within itself. But the primary objective was there.
Alot of the stuff he was saying, has potentially already been said. The Cena stuff was covered by the Rock in February and the McMahon stuff has been covered by serveral stars, most notably Hunter and Shawn. It can be argued that Hunter due to this Mcmahonism is allowed to say what he feels. But the majority of Punk's promo has already been aired elsewhere.
The only thing that really stood out was the Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar reference. That was the thing that made everyone step back along with the NJPW and ROH reference, although Matt Hardy did bring up the ROH stuff in 2005.
This Promo has that same feel to it as for example like I said, Matt Hardy in 2005. If they wanted too Punk would have been cut straight away, but it didn't happen. He was aloud to speak , Plus look at reactions of fellow employees and people on Twitter, alot of them are saying it was a controversial end to Raw but a great one at that. If this was real, Twitter would be filled with spammed comments. wwe.com would be going crazy right now updating everyone, and every wrestling fan would be watching the dirtsheets trying to see what is happening next. Plainly it's a work no questions asked.
Just the next step is the hardest. With Punk now effectively off TV for however long, how are they gonna keep the ball rolling. Essentially they have shot themselves in the foot, but I bring up the Danielson tale from last year. They shot themselves in the foot but he came back and for 4-5 months better then we could imagene.
Chances are Punk does and is saying what he believes, alot of people were surprised and how convincing the promo was. Needless to say Raw ended smilar as to when Nexus debuted in June of last year. Which is why I think this whole Punk angle whiffs of the orginal Nexus storyline but they have just changed it around a bit.
Do I like what happend last night?: Yes. Does it make me want too watch Raw next week?: Yes Is this promo being hyped a bit too much?: Yes
But overal the fact we now have an interest in Raw for the first time in about 2-3 Months, shows something. I am interested in what happens next week. Plus watch Smackdown very closley, If that promo gets talked about and get replayed on Smackdown, it confirms it's a work.

Honestly i dont think its being overhyped at all. I think it will be remembered in few years as one hell of a promo. It is definitely one of the best iv seen in a long while. Credit is due where credit is due and punk delivered fantastically! The fact he has people wondering if it was a shoot shows how well he delivered. I loved that he had an austin t shirt on also..... That was awesome! Its been more or less confirmed now that it is a work but finally something good! What i find funny is that because of last night i definitely would have bought money in the bank.....turns out we getting it for free on sky sports!

All I can say is my jaw was on the table watching this. I obviously knew it was a work. But I gurantee that they had no idea he was going to say half the stuff he did. The fact they carried on filming and even censored him at one point, along with the lack of a logo at the end shows this to be a work. Agreed. And that's what makes it great. THIS is what wrestling needs, this is the greatest angle for as long as I can remember. Just wrestling is boring to us now, cheesy studio promos piss us off and overblown scripted storylines are annoying. THIS is now you hook our type of fans and give the marks their version of Austin 3:16 or the NWO. I only hope they don't f this up, because if they are smart this could be the thing that brings WWE back.
