I had not seen much of awesome kong before her wwe debut because i dont watch TNA. Holy crap she had an awesome debut! Some people say the crowd was dead but i think the crowd was just in awe! She is a beast of a woman...good god! Right now im loving the character, the laugh, the entrance, the music...everything. I know its only been two apearances but at the moment she is definitely one of my top three favourite characters in wwe at the moment. It was just really refreshing. I really hope wwe dont fuck this up and hope they see this as chance to ''SHAKE THINGS UP'' in the womens division. What do you guys think about awesome kong's debut in wwe?

I think they were dead because not alot of people expected her to show up at Extreme Rules, Plus with the state of the women's division in today's wrestling. It really doesnt mean squat right now. BUT If they see Kong's past and realise what could happen, like you said, maybe a new start for wrestling and it returning who knows?
Good debut on PPV and good debut on Raw. Lets see where it goes now.

WTF? Wwe what did you just do to kharma?! What the hell was that! Why did they have someone who is over as a monster and who is dominating to show a human side and start crying in the ring! Bullshit! Its been a month and it looks lik wwe has already fucked it . I going to see where they go with this on smackdown but having her cry is just stupid!

Personally I think this adds a bit more 'depth' to the character...but this is the reason that I just picked up..
-The word I'm getting is that the angle done on last night's edition of WWE Raw with Kharma and the Divas was done because Kharma is pregnant. The mysterious break down angle was done to write her off television. She'll be out throughout the duration of her pregnancy and probably a time afterwards.
This information was provided to me Via NoDq.com, RingsideNews AND it's being reported also by Meltzer. If this is the case, then holy shit.

Well, on a personal level, I hope everything with her pregnancy goes well. On a level as a wrestling fan... hopefully she'll end up like Beth Phoenix, who was on TV for a very brief time, got hurt or written off, and when she came back, *BAM* instant impact. We'll see where this goes.

Well if she is pregnant then congrats to her. As a fan though that sucks lol. I was really into that character and she had me interested in the divas division again! I personally think they could have written her off much better.....that was just stupid. And you know when and if she comes back they just going to forget they did that. Guess its back to fast forwarding through divas matches .

Again those are the big rumors and if she is pregnant she wouldn't be cleared to wrestle and having her 'passed out' backstage or something like that would seem just as stupid. I know her 'crying' looks bad but she's already playing a character that is 'crazy' from having a serious face to bust out laughing, only limiting her to two emotions is stale, this at least gives her a bit of depth.

I think best way to write her off would be not to write her off at all. Have her just disappear for 9 months. Wrestling websites would break the news about her abscence. She is the kind of character you can have just disappear. She like the female boogeyman minus the worms lol . Suposedly shes having an interview on raw to explain....that should be interesting :/. Overall raw this week was a very weird show i thought. Looking forward to hear what ye thought this saturday on beyond the mat.

That is an idea but the problem is about 60 or so percent of the fans are kids so they wouldn't really 'know' what happened to Kharma and those that are old enough that don't go to websites and read up (Myself and BM have met a handful of these people) also wouldn't know what was going only, there is only a percentage of people that actually read up on the backstage stuff. Fans know facts and stuff like that and whom might be coming but as far as the 'real' backstage stuff they're in the dark. Just having her disappear from tv and then 'show up' sadly her reception would be luke warm since she has only been on tv for 3 weeks, not enough time to make an impression. Same thing happened with Phoenix and her 'push' just disappeared, she had to start 'all over again' which was great for Phoenix fans but bad for casual marks.

This is nothing personal on her but if this was on purpose it was career sucide. You don't decide to have a baby within weeks on debuting on TV.
If it's an accident then thats cool but otherwise I question her timing.

I highly doubt she 'planned' on getting pregnant, I mean it's not like it was on her 'to do' list.

Well that was a bit better. I liked that they just let her go out and explain what was going on. Bit weird seeing her very out of character. Kinda took away the mystery of the chatacter but that was going to go eventually anyway. Im just going to try forget this whole thing. When she comes back in about a year i hope shes back to being the awesome monster she was! Congrats to her on the pregnancy! Divas division is boring again . Although the tag match on raw was actually an ok match .

Well she had to be out of character, if they just made her 'disappear' it wouldn't make any sense. If she just continued to destroy the Diva's then showed up on Raw and said "I'm pregnant" no one would have bought it or accepted it. At least her crying in the middle of the ring gives interest (either good or bad) and keeps everyone wondering WTF is going on. As far as what she said about Jim Ross I'm 50/50 on that because he understands the business and I'm not sure if he called her 'fat' as an insult or as a 'truth be told' kind of issue. I love how she mentioned Japan and talked about her roots a bit, sort of giving us a bit of 'depth' into the real person though yes it does 'ruin' the character but lets face it, WWE admits it's fake and even goes out on a limb to say 'they're performers' so we really can't bitch and complain when we all know Kia Steven's is not a psycho bitch running around killing people, we know better, so us complaining is kind of...a double standard. My big point is no damage done. We were into the character way before she even debuted and she's taking time off for a bigger purpose, instead of arguing over 'burial' or 'save' we should just be thankful A. she's in the WWE and B. that she'll be coming back. I don't see her as being buried and I don't see the character being any different than before, we just got to see the actress behind the performer or in which case, the woman behind the wrestler. Congrats Kong, come back soon and fucking destroy everyone.....except Beth and Nattie

Agreed! Ya i wasnt sure about the jr thing either but hell she proved him wrong so its all good! I definitely dont think she is buried. It was one of the best segments on raw. It was very honest and genuine....she won the crowd over for that and got massive cheers. Cant wait for her to come back! Gail kim vs beth phoenix vs natalya vs kharma at summerslam 2012 ? That would be awesome ;D!!!
