That should have closed raw.....its all i can think about now lol! Good to see he went out on top. There no doubt he always gave it his all....one of my favourite edge matches was him vs mick foley at wrestlemania. Spose all thats left tp say is thank you edge.

Over Morrison and Ziggler *blows Brain out*.
No really this was a sad day. Always one of my favourites that I got to watch just about the whole career of. We saw Edge change and grow, he covered all that in his promo. A real whole is left by him. I may have hated what they did with him over the last year but that was the writers fault and not his. But overall I loved every bit of his career. The promo really had a "lost my smile" feel accept that it was real this time!
Farewell Edge. Hope you find something to with yourself (hint hint agent hint hint writer).

Wow this has been a really sucky week and it's only Tuesday, The Death of Larry Sweeney and now this, Man this sucks but at least Edge can be at peace with himself knowing he has decreased the risk of his imminent death.
I would say this is one of the biggest shock's ever in Professional Wrestling, even bigger than Vince buying WCW or the formation of NWO because this essentially came out of nowhere. We have been reading stories the last year or two about how Edge is pretty banged up and once his contract with WWE had expired that was going to be the end of the line for him, So we knew Edge was to leave within the next year or two but this comes as a REAL shock to me.
I think we can safely understand as to why Wrestlemania opened up with the World Title match, and I hope everyone that has badmouthed WWE for doing that will now apologise because we have now found out that it was saving Edge's life potentially. This I would say is one of the biggest loses WWE could ever have, simply put Hunter and Taker are on a part-time schedule, Cena is getting towards the time of needing to take more and more time off and Orton is known for getting his arm injured easily because of the condition he has, so Edge was really there only BIG star that could take on a full time road schedule, without too much trouble.
I think we should do a special BTM show just dedicated to Edge and his career, I know many will say you didn't do one about HBK or Flair when he retired, the fact is, we pretty much KNEW those two were to retire at those given times and you can go back on the archives and put together all of our thoughts over those two men but we never really dug deep into Edge and his career because at the time he was still evolving and becoming a major star.
I am really sad to see Edge leave, it honestly brought a tear to my eye when I watched Raw this morning, that is honestly true because It just felt really sad and granted people have been saying this should be the main segment of Raw but it has been indicated that WWE only really knew about ten minutes in advance that this was actually going to happen so to be honest they probably didn't have the time to change everything so this could go on last.
I will do my best to honor the legacy of Edge in the fantasy draft, I will always be an Edgehead and I will look back on a career of a man that has done everything possible that he can do, and that he knew when to bow out and leave still the Rated R Superstar.
*Raises glass* Edge I wish you well in everything you do for the rest of your life!

I want to murder that cunt known as Hulk Hogan because lots of people like Nattie, Christian, Finkel, Styles have poured there hearts out basically thanking Edge for everything he has done in the WWE and in wrestling in general, but along comes the cunt known as Hogan to be a complete and utter fucking cuntbag!
Hulk Hogan tweet on the Edge situation:
Great examples Hogan a bunch of injured-dead guys and messed up guys. Why retire, when you can rather end up dead or in a wheelchair and in pain 24/7 to prove just how tough you are.
I hate that worthless cunt, fuck you Hogan, if you died tommorrow no-one would give a fuck!

- Edge (Adam Copeland) went in for his MRI the day after Wrestlemania, which was last Monday, which explains why he missed the 4/4 Raw in Atlanta. Edge did fly to Charlotte for last week's Smackdown, as they set up the Wrestlemania rematch for the Extreme Rules - Edge vs. Alberto Del Rio. The World Heavyweight champion learned of his Neuropraxia, a spinal condition which causes numbness and trembling in the arms, at the end of last week, and was advised to retire from the ring.
- During WWE Monday Night Raw in Bridgeport, CT, current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Edge announced that he was retiring from pro wrestling and WWE. It didn't appear to be an angle or storyline as the announcement was very sudden being teased just 10 minutes before Raw went live on USA. Edge stated that he had been losing feeling in his arms and was advised by doctors to retire from in-ring action.

Now to really comment, this is a huge shock, Edge being forced to retire is by none not something I wanted to start my week, furthermore anything I had said about the Wrestlemania match and everything, I still stand behind. I'm not going to say something then rethink on it and change my mind, I stand on what I said, the match was not all that spectacular and now we know why it wasn't as great as it could have been and now, actually, I wish THAT match closed the show, I'm not actually MORE pissed at WWE that they didn't have the notion to put that on towards the end. For me it's a matter of respect and if they 'knew' Edge was hurt or that it might be his last match, treat it like one and put it up on the card like you did with Flair and HBK. Edge is NOT at their level but he never strayed in the company and deserves that respect so again, I will not take anything away from what I said about his match at Mania, that would make me a hypocrit and that is ONE of the things I'm not. This whole Edge thing really really sucks and came out of left field and what really again pisses me off, they close RAW with a #1 contenders match that no one cared about. Honestly, I'm this close to being done with WWE for six months.

You know what's worse, they're pushing R-Truth, time to watch TNA Well if Morrison was not such an ass to Trish, he would have been pushed by Cena, but there seems to be a lot of heat there. He needs to learn to pick his battles, WWE will have him jobbing to Hornswoggle before he gets a title shot if he keeps his attitude up. You don't disrespect a wrestling Goddess like Trish and get away with it.
