"Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is a three-team tag team matchup scheduled for one fall!"
(Play London/Kendrick)
"Introducing first, representing Ring of Honor, at a combined weight of 385 lbs, they are the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champions, Paul London and Brian Kendrick!"
(Play MCMG)
"Representing the World Wrestling Federation, they hail from Detroit, Michigan, weighing in at a combined weight of 420lbs, the World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Champions, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, the Motor City Machine Guns!"
(Play Demolition)
"Representing the National Wrestling Alliance, weighing in at a combined weight of 593lbs, they are the NWA World Tag Team Champions, Ax and Smash, Demolition!"
The bell rang as Demolition would head to the corner, leaving Paul London and Chris Sabin to start the matchup. London reached out to shake Sabin's hand as was customary to ROH, and Sabin shook his hand to a great reaction as they circled each other, London obviously being the faster of the two. Sabin went to lock up with London, but Paul slid under Sabin's legs and hit a dropkick as Chris turned around. He got back to his feet as Sabin held onto the ropes, not expecting that quick of offense right off the bat as London called him on from the other side of the ring. Sabin walked in and tried to corner him, but London was just way too fast, getting out of the corner before Sabin could grab him.
London rolled out of the corner and smacked Shelley right in the face, bringing him into the ring. He charged at Paul with a clothesline, but missed as Kendrick springboarded off the top rope from the other side, taking Alex down with a missile dropkick. They both went back to their corners as London and Sabin locked up, Sabin taking the advantage with a knee to the gut. He hammered away on London's back, trying to keep him down, and tossed him to the ropes. Sabin picked Paul up and launched him high into the air, but London countered with a quick headscissor. Both men rolled back up to their feet and hit the ropes, London flying with a cross body block for a quick one count. They both sprang up as London ran forward again, getting hip tossed over the top, but landed on the apron. He shoulderblocked Sabin and flipped right over him, landing on his feet and going for the ropes, Kendrick blindly tagging in.
Sabin went for a superkick on the running London, but Paul slid under his foot as Kendrick came from behind with a running bulldog. He went for a quick cover but Shelley broke it up before the ref could get there. Sabin got back to his feet as Kendrick hit a springboard moonsault, taking Sabin back down for a two count. Kendrick quickly hit an arm wringer, but Sabin countered it and brought Kendrick down to his back. Brian rolled around on the ground before nipping to his feet, reversing the arm wringer, bringing Sabin himself to the mat. Sabin rolled backwards and headscissored Kendrick, breaking the arm wringer, sending him to the outside. Kendrick got right back to his feet and saw Sabin flying at him with a somersault cannonball over the top, taking him out!
Sabin rolled back into the ring and tagged in Alex Shelley, who tossed Kendrick back into the ring and went for a cover, getting a two count. Demolition looked on in the corner, seeming to discuss strategy as Shelley locked in a reverse chinlock, posting Kendrick's back as he spat at Demolition, trying to goad them into the ring. Kendrick fought back to his feet and elbowed Shelley twice to break the hold, hitting the ropes but got body slammed down. Smash reached over the rope to tag himself in, but Shelley quickly ran out of their reach, keeping them on the apron. He picked Kendrick up and fired him to the opposite corner, but Kendrick jumped and leapt over a charging Shelley, landing behind him and quickly rolling him up! He got a two before he was fired off into Sabin's fist, then back to Shelley, back and forth like a ping pong ball, getting a northern lights suplex from Shelley. 1, 2, no, Kendrick kicked out.
Shelley snapped Kenrick over and kicked him in the back, tagging in Sabin who also gave him a big kick to the back. He picked Kendrick up and suplexed him hard not once, but twice down to the canvas. London reached out for him, but was nowhere near, trying to will Brian on. Sabin threw Kendrick to the far side as he hit the ropes near him, catching him in the face with a flying leg lariat. Again, Demolition reached over and almost hit Sabin, getting into the match, but he quickly got out of reach.
"It seems to me, JR, that both the 'Guns and London and Kendrick don't want Demolition to get involved in this match."
"I can't disagree with that point, Ventura, it's easy to see that Demolition is the threat in that ring, but if they can't get legally involved, they can't bring their power to the matchup."
Sabin picked Kendrick up and went for a reverse suplex, but Kendrick went up and over, kicking Sabin in the back with a dropkick, Sabin falling forward and draping over the second rope. Kendrick ran off the other side and jumped off of Sabin's back, crashing down on him with a body splash. He rolled off of Sabin and quickly tagged in London, who flew over the top rope with a legdrop to the back of Sabin, still hanging over the rope. They pulled him off and hit a double dropkick, knocking him down. Shelley came back in and went to clothesline both of them, hitting Kendrick out of the ring, but London ducked underneath. He dropkicked Shelley and moonsaulted on top of Sabin in one swift move, hooking the leg! 1, 2, no, Smash came in to break up the count, and was immediately pushed back to the corner.
London was rolling now, running to the ropes and hit a low dropkick into Sabin's face, knocking him clean out. He went for the cover, but Shelley quickly pulled him outside the ring and threw him into the steel railing on the outside, as Kendrick came to help out. Shelley and Kendrick started to scuffle it up until Demolition got involved, Smash taking Shelley and Ax getting a hold of Kendrick. Smash took Alex and tossed him to the ring post hard, as Kendrick was able to push Ax off and charge at him, but got backdropped into the fans in the second row! From the inside, Paul London came out with a flying corkscrew right onto Smash and Shelley, as the referee tried to maintain order in the matchup. Ax rolled into the ring illegally and started to pound on Sabin, until Sabin fought back, using his speedy kicks to Ax's body and face, knocking him down.
He hit Ax with a dropkick that sent him into the ropes, and ran forward. Ax ducked him and back body dropped him straight to the floor, right on top of Shelley, Smash, AND London! He turned around to see the carnage that he caused, all four men on the outside, while Kendrick was just starting to get back to the ringside area. He grabbed a hold of poor Brian and went to suplex him, but Kendrick kicked him straight in the nose with a roundhouse, rocking him back. He leapt off the railing with a flying knee taking Ax down and quickly rolling into the ring, telling the referee that he was all right. All five men started to get back up to their feet as Kendrick hit the ropes on the other side, jumping up to the corner in one jump and leapt off with a 450, taking all five men down with him!
The crowd exploded as Kendrick threw London into the ring, as he was the legal man, and tossed Sabin to him. London rolled over and covered him, 1.... 2.... NO! Sabin got his shoulder off the mat, obviously he didn't have much of a fight left in him, Wrestlemania still taking a toll on the Guns. London scooped him up and slammed him down, then leapt up to the top rope, waiting for him to rise. Chris rose up as Paul jumped off, hitting a rolling neckbreaker from the top! He covered Sabin again, 1.... 2.... NO! He still kicked out of it as Kendrick had gotten back to his corner, tagging in and climbing the top rope. London kicked Sabin hard with a spinning heel kick, taking him down as Kendrick leapt off with a frog splash, but got intercepted by Shelley who superkicked him DEAD in the face on the way down, saving his partner! He dragged Sabin to his corner, but the referee stopped him, being the illegal man. Smash used this opportunity to drag Kendrick to HIS corner, and as soon as the referee turned around, Ax blindly tagged into the match.
"Oh hell, Demolition's in, Ross!"
"I don't like anyone else's chances now, Jesse!"
"I don't think ANYONE like's their chances, Demolition's fresh!"
Ax picked up Sabin and tossed him hard into the corner, coming in with a clothesline. He pulled him out and hit a massive short arm clothesline, taking Sabin down. He went for the cover, but Shelley quickly broke it up, hammering away on Ax. He threw Ax to the ropes, but it was easily reversed as Ax caught him with a big time powerslam, the impact shaking the ring. Out of nowhere, Paul London dropkicked Ax in the back, sending him into his partner who tagged in. He ran full speed at London, but got caught in a drop toe hold, being taken down. Smash tried to get up, but London hit a dropkick into the side of Smash's head, taking him down as the referee tried to get him back to his corner. Sabin got back to his feet and crawled over to his partner, but there was no one in his corner! He turned around and looked at a fresh Paul London and started to walk over to him and tagged out, London and Smash now being the legal men.
London ascended the top rope and caught Smash with a missile dropkick straight into the face, but Smash was getting right back up. London ran to the corner again and rose up to the top. Smash had no idea where London was coming from and turned around into a flying body press! 1.... 2.... NO! Smash threw London off, but his speed was just too much for him. London hit the ropes and slid right between Smash's legs, trying to roll him up. Smash stood tall though and grabbed London by the throat and launched him into the air, which London was able to counter into a dropkick! London threw Smash to the ropes, but Smash slid out of the ring. London was confused as he turned around into a huge clothesline from Ax, turning London upside down and inside out, flipping him all the way around with the lariat. Replays showed that Ax had blindly tagged in, being the legal man.
Brian Kendrick saulted off the top rope from the other side with a flying body press, but Ax caught him in mid air and pressed him over his head, going to throw him to the outside. He looked over at the Motor City Machine Guns and dropped Kendrick right on top of them on the outside. He then turned his attention to London, who was still reeling from the savage clothesline as Ax picked him up and hit him with a backbreaker. Smash then climbed up on the top rope and came off with the elbow, hitting the Demolition Decapitation. Ax covered London for 1..... 2..... 3.
"Ladies and gentlemen, here are your winners, the NWA World Tag Team Champions, Ax and Smash, Demolition!"
"I told you guys, Demolition was the big threat in that ring."
"Right you were, Styles, right you were. I was pullin' for my boys from the WWF, but Demolition was just too strong and too experienced for these four young men to overcome."
Demolition grabbed their tag titles and left the arena, nothing to be taken away from either team, but Demolition was just too powerful for either team to overcome, perhaps sending a message to The Andersons that they could beat any team in a matter of minutes if given the chance.
