All right, I think I've given enough space for this, so here we go, BM's review of SuperCard 2:
SuperCard Invitational: This was absolutely hilarious. This was fantastically written, and Cody Rhodes got INCREDIBLE heat. Liger going over, absolutely loved every minute. Also Rich, thanks for now making "Never mind that shit, here comes Chono!" a catchphrase for the fantasy. Much appreciated.
Best mark out moment for me was the Warrior coming out, that was HILARIOUS.
Tag Team Match: Oh yeah, I wrote it! Can't give feedback here other than I'm glad you guys enjoyed the match. It took me a while to write, and I tried to use everyone to the best of their abilities.
ROH 4-Way: WOW was this a fantastic match. EVERYONE was used to the best of their abilities, and it was a brutal, brutal fuckin' match. Samoa Joe was just a dominant monster, Daniels was the well-oiled veteran, Danielson was the wrestling machine, and McGuinness was the beastly powerhouse. Samoa Joe going over with a DOUBLE MUSCLE BUSTER? Holy shit! I loved this match.
Triple Threat: Uhh...... "He is dead it seems."
Women's Match: I wrote this one as well, this was fun to write. Glad you guys got into it, I hoped I could get you guys hooked. By the way, I wrote this match BEFORE the go-home show on Raw, not even knowing that Kong and Beth were having a little scuffle on Raw. Nice.
Pure Title: As always James, excellent use of the Pure Championship, this match was fantastic. Triple H looked good, Benoit looked good, just a very, very damn good Pure wrestling match. Triple H going down was a surprise to me, I thought he was gonna bring the title back home. Great match.
Angle/Swagger: WOW. Both men just put on a wrestling clinic here, this was incredible to listen to. Angle looked like a wrestling machine, and Swagger looked more credible than the way he's being pushed in reality. Both men wrestled amateur, submission, power... everything in the book. I loved this match, and Swagger tapping makes PERFECT sense. Angle's the better man.
HBK/Morrison: It took me THREE HOURS to write this match, and another three and a half to edit it out. I'm REALLY glad you guys loved this match as much as you did, I was NOT expecting that much of a reaction out of you two, I had you guys by the balls the ENTIRE match. Thanks for giving me the applause at the end of the match, I'm SERIOUSLY touched by how high you put that match up on there.
Miz/Bourne: DAMN this match was good. I seriously thought that this match was gonna last 30 seconds to a minute, that Bourne would squash him in a comedic effect. But no, Miz was definitely put over, Barrett was used VERY well, making me wanna kill him, and Bourne gets the win by reversing the SCF? Excellently written, DM. I was vested in this match through and through.
Punk/Styles: WOW! This match delivered in more ways than I expected to, and it was the first match that had blood in it. CM Punk was put over, AGAIN, at SuperCard, and AJ Styles got the dog shit beaten out of him. Certainly, he's got a mountain to climb at Foundation, but incredible match. I loved it. =D
Orton/Show: Okay, this is NOT who I was expecting it to be, but it did tip the favor into Show's corner, until Orton slapped the referee. I was fucking pissed, but then James restarts the match! Excellent. Orton was made to look like a complete and utter dick in the match, and the run-ins with ROH's lives on the line just made it a little more dramatic. Randy Orton winning was not a shock, but the WAY he did it kinda makes him look weak, but at the same time strong, because he's STILL the fucking champion. Goddamn, James, did this have great dramatic elements.
Undertaker/Sting: OH MY GOD. This match was fucking BRUTAL. This takes Triple H/HBK in the cell and fucking DEMOLISHES it. The steel bat was just RIDICULOUS, Sting should've pinned his ass at the start of the match. My god, this was a brutal match, no one would've ever signed for this in their right fucking minds. I was actually started to become disinterested in this match because of how extreme it was with the barbed wire and glass, but I got hooked back into it because of the dramatic elements and the brutality of the match itself. The innovative spots with the submissons and the ball bats were excellently done. I was on the edge of my seat when they were on the cell. This had me nearly having heart attacks, and Sting winning by a Tombstone was absolutely epic. Unreal.
This was DEFINITELY worth the 4 hours of time that I spent listening to it. We really hit it outta the park here, and finally, FINALLY, Sting has won... and The Undertaker's reign is over. Sting has FINALLY found redemption!!!
