The World Wrestling Federation Presents:
The Royal Rumble
2011
Live from the Prudential Center Newark, New Jersey
We open with a video package hyping the title match and Rumble match itself. It says “tonight the Road to Wrestlemania has reached the junction. Now we find out which road it will take!”
Fireworks explode off of the metal set and the lights come up to show the sold out capacity live crowd.
“Hello ladies and Gentleman and welcome to the Royal Rumble. Tonight is a crossroads, tonight we find out who is going to Wrestlemania as champion and challenger, and tonight a lot will be settled but a lot will begin. Hello everyone Jim Ross here live in Newark, New Jersey along with…Jim Cornette.” “Yes I am Jim Cornette! The best man named Jim who has ever announced” he grins as we gut to the announce table, Ross moving and rolling his eyes “tonight is the 30 man Royal Rumble match, the one and only, and I think you will find the Miz will be winning that one.” “If he can concentrate on his own Federation and not the completion for five seconds and if he can overcome the entire Dominion but for their master…” “Oh…yeah! He has a pact!” “Yeah…well before that folks we have three huge title matches. Let’s head to ringside for the first.”
Women’s Championship
We are in the ring with Finkle as Trish’s music hits. She is announced to a loud positive reaction. Then the participants make their way out. Kong to a roar of approval, Kendra with Daffney to boos.
“Here we go. The rematch. Kong and Kendra 2! And it sounds like a monster movie because it damn sure was the first time!” JR calls as the women back into their corners.
Trish is wearing and belly cut version of the referee shirt, she moves forward, looks at each and then waves for the bell and then for them to go at it.
They both now move forward as Trish steps back, going back at it right where they left off in November. They trade blows back and forth furiously, each holding their ground and only slightly stumbling. Kendra then in an Undertaker like fashion brings her hands up and grasps them around Kong’s neck, Kong breaks that and smashes her right in the masked mouth, sending her down and mounting her, boxing away with hard lefts to the jaw and face of the downed Kendra. The crowd loving it.
“All the frustration from last month’s screw job, where Kendra stole the title, coming out here. All the hatred she has for this women!” JR calls. “Ross…I think its mutual.”
Daffney is now screaming at Trish for her to get Kong off, Trish hesitates for a moment but then moves in, yelling orders and pulling Kong off. Kong turn and stands with a start, glaring in angry at Trish and backing her off, Trish warning her and pointing at the shirt. She then breaks off, growling and turning right into a hard big boot from Kendra taking her down hard! Kendra now drops to her knees and covers, hooking the leg for 1…NO! Kong powers out with authority. She then blasts Kendra in the face with a black gloved fist, sending her reeling. Kendra holds her jaw and moves back into the corner, holding herself and checking herself there. Kong now stands and lets out a cry, running in but Kendra moves out of the way leaving Kong to splash hard chest first into the corner. She now turns groggily but then snaps the life, running hard for Kendra but is caught and driven down with a scoop power slam and a cover for 1…2..NO!
Kendra reaches down and pulls her up by her braids, which gets a warning from Trish; she then blasts her face first into the top turnbuckle pad and then drops her again with a hard side Russian leg sweep. She covers again and finds another 2. Kong kicks out and then comes to life grabbing Kendra and pulling her in with her legs, viceing her there and then walling away with hard rights and lefts. Kendra tries to bring her arms up but Kong has them trapped, continuing to work away unprotected on the head. Kendra now grows woozy and slumps down there. Kong then brings her head up and finishes the job with a hard head but.
Kendra rolls away and falls lifelessly to the mat. “Is this was a last man standing or boxing match this would be over…” Cornette calls as Kong now covers for 1, 2…NO! She kicks out.
Kong clenches her teeth and seethes like a beast, getting to her feet and pulling Kendra in by the head, lifting her and driving her down with an Awesome Bomb. The crowd react, knowing its over as Kong covers and Trish gets to her knees slapping the mat once, twice…NO! Kendra just manages to kick out. The crowd let out a breath, Kong and roar as she looks up with anger at Trish. Trish turns from signaling the two right into Kong who is seething with rage in her face. Trish brings up her hands, not so much pleading as trying to calm her and tell her that if she touches her then her title chances are over. Behind her she has no noticed as Kendra is being aided up on the ropes by Daffney and ordered to go for more. Kendra come sot life coming in but as she runs in Kong turns around and spins into a closeline but Kendra ducks that and spins Kong, booting her in the gut and then scooping her up. Trish and the crowd watch open mouthed with amazement as in Andre & Hogan like style Kendra heaves Kong up and drops her with a scoop slam. She follows that up and Kong starts to sit up by hitting the ropes and blasting her coming back with a running dropkick to the face. Cover for another two. Now it’s Kendra turns to complain to Trish and get warned. She though then opens her arms and signals for the sleeper. “Oh here we go!” JR calls “this has put Kong away on several occasions, but she is the only women ever to break it in their first one on one match!”
Kendra now comes in and grabs it, locking her hands and locking in the sleeper. But before she can fully apply it Kendra running backwards driving Kendra back first, sandwiching her in the corner and then lifting her elbows, driving hard back elbows into both sides on Kendra’s head, one after the other. Trish now comes in and counts 1…2…3…4…At four Kong breaks in and moves forward backing Trish off before turning, Kendra has now pulled herself up onto the top rope and flies off with a flying closeline taking her down and covering for 1…2…NO!
Kendra immediately then pulls Kong up and locks in the sleeper hold on the mat, wrenching it in. The crowd is loud now as Trish gets in Kong’s face and when she asks Kong kicks at her with her near leg. Trish warns her sternly about that one and then asks again. Kong continues to be in the hold for moments…finally starting to fade when finally she manages to get another couple of good back elbows in to break it. Both women fall to the mat.
Kendra is the first to stand, holding her head as he comes in. Kong quickly snaps to life as turns running in but Kendra catches her, scoops her up and drives her down forward with a heavy ring shaking forward slam. And gets another two. Kendra now hits the ropes and drops a leg drop, again getting a two count. She then pulls Kong up, goes behind and drops her down with a full nelson bomb. Cover for 1…2…NO! Kong gets the shoulder up again.
Kendra again standing in frustration…grabbing Trish’s shirt to a stern warning and then turning backing off into the corner and waiting for Kong to stand.
Kong rises up and turns, Kendra comes charging out and the corner and…Kong grabs her coming in, lifts her up and drives her down with the implant buster. Covering for 1…2…NO!!! Kendra gets the shoulder up to a huge shocked reaction from the crowd.
Kong now lets out a roar of rage, yelling something at Trish and then heading to the apron and up to the top rope slowly.
“I think she’s going for the Amazing Splash! This is what put Kendra away finally at Survivor Series. She did the other two finishers just like tonight and now just like then she is aiming to finish it with this!” JR yells.
Kong rises up, seeing Kendra positioned perfectly in the ring and gives one more cry before taking to the air. The mass that is her body comes down like a brick, falling hard when Kendra is just able to roll out of the way. Trish holds her head and watches with wide eyes as Kong thuds hard to the mat! Buckling the ring and moving it and bouncing it at least a centimeter! Kendra now moves over and covers for 1…2…NO!!! The crowd erupts as Kong gets the shoulder up. Daffney screams and kicks the ring, Trish confirms it to the time keeper and Kendra rises up on her knees. Standing and not staying a word as normal but looking pissed, reeling back to strike Trish. Trish stands her ground, Daffney now on the apron and yelling at her that it was a slow count.
Kendra lets out a sound of rage and turns right into a charging Kong! But Kendra side steps it, goes behind and locks in the sleeper hold! The crowd reacts with shock and pleas for Kong to get out as Kendra wrenches it in again, now dropping down to the mat and scissoring her legs around Kong’s body. The crowd still hold onto hope pleading but Kong can find no way out of it and begins to fade, finally wilting to the mat. Trish comes in and lifts the arm once…twice…three times. She seems to curse as she stands but turns and calls for the bell, boos reigning down.
Kendra’s music plays and she finally lets Kong go. Daffney runs into the ring and jumps up on and down beside her stone faced champion. She then yells and points for Trish to come and give her the title belt. Trish sighs and turns, tacking it from the time keeper and moving back, Daffney yelling at her to give it to her. Trish lets out a long breath and narrows her eyes as she holds the belt up for Kendra. Kendra seems to smile under her mask and snatches it. Turning with pride and places it on her shoulder as Daffney raises her hand to the crowd with a broad smile.
“Well…she did it. We doubted how she won the belt but she made it official for many here. Kendra is the champion. She beat Kong in their rematch, they are tied…but I think Trish is the next story to be continued. That is far from over” JR calls as Kendra and Trish have a moment of a icy stare down before Kendra backs off on orders from Daffney and is lead to the back.
As the music dies finally EMT’s and refs and helping Kong up. She pushes them away and stumbles to stand, not wanting help and then spotting Trish. She is seething, froth coming from her mouth in anger and she moves towards Trish like a rapid beast. Trish starts to say “I was doing my job…”when Kong slugs her hard, knocking Trish out cold on the mat.
Kong gets a mixed reaction as turns and with a fierce anger still boiling leaves the ring, leaving Trish laying.
Tag Title Cage Match
The crowd pops big for the guns, and less for LAX after their recent actions. They then boo big time for the tag champs.
Everyone in the ring and standing, waiting, the cage around them…and nobody comes. LAX and the Guns takes their eyes off each other for a moment to look at the ramp with frowns. Finally Mankind emerges with Hayabusa, Gabriel and the tag titles in his hands.
“What the hell is going on?” Asks JR.
“Ok…I am just going to say the truth” Mankind sighs “we have had no contact with Kishin Liger and he has not arrived here tonight. It may be a travel problem…we are investigating” he looks annoyed “so as of right now our team is stripped of the tag team championships and Gabriel will take his place in the match. The title is now vacant with the team winning this match being the new champions. Have a nice day.”
With that crowd boos, and many are in confusion as Gabriel and Hayabusa make their way down. Mankind makes his way down with the belts and hands them to the referee who shrugs and takes them, holding him up on the outside as the dominion enters the cage.
The bell rings and this slightly altered match is underway. All the teams look around at each other and up at the steel structure surrounding them. The Guns and LAX more than a little confused about what it going on. Gabriel is a BIG substitute for Liger; he is a monster they now must deal with.
“The Dominion is trying down play it but surely there cult has tabs on their guys…” JR begins but is cut off as the three teams run forward and engage each other, going back and forth with anyone not their team, fists and kicks flying.
Shelly and Sabin fight of LAX then hit the ropes, coming in but get double close lined down by Gabriel. Sabin is now grabbed by Hayabusa and whipped into the corner but he jumps up on it and springboards back in but Hayabusa is there to meet him in mid air, taking him over with a mid air frakensteiner. The commentators reminds us it is a escape only as Hayabusa now stands and starts going at it with Homicide now. Hernandez and Gabriel are now trading blows, Hernandez manages to get in a good gut shot and then hits the ropes, coming in and nailing a closeline, but he hits Gabriel’s chest like a ton of bricks. He himself stumbles back and bit and then hits the ropes again, this time Gabriel bringing his foot up and taking his head off with a big boot. All men pair off, three teams of them going back into the corners and ropes as the grapple with each other.
Shelly manages to come to life and nail Hayabusa now, turning him upside down into the tree of wore position in the corner and then backing off, running in a hitting a running dropkick to the face. He however does not let up, getting up and doing it again, the slap of his feet hitting the masked man’s face and him crying out yet again. Shelly now leaves him there, holding up his fits and taunts the crowd before going back to the work, now finally getting Hayabusa off of the corner. On the other side of the ring Gabriel is making short work of Homicide now, beating him down into the ropes. He then turns and nails Hernandez in the back, reaching down and picking up Sabin, walking forward and throwing him hard upside down back first into the steel mesh. Shelly sees this and comes running in with a full head of steam, jumping up sideways for a cross body but Gabriel catches him out the air, turns and throws him hard onto the steel as well.
“Wow Gabriel the X factor here, the random element they were not prepared for. And boy is it coming into play” JR calls. “Well Mankind and The Lord of Darkness aren’t dumb you know. And I am sure the Liger situation is nothing.”
Homicide and Hayabusa are now going it, Homicide going for a cutter but getting pushed off, Homicide hitting the ropes, Hayabusa swing at him coming in but Homicide ducks it, turns and runs forward and nailing Hayabusa down with a jumping spinning back elbow. He then stands and yells out at the crowd to a mixed reaction. He then hits the ropes and comes in on him again but this time Gabriel is there, catches him and throws him back with a fall away slam into the cage wall.
Now over at the other side of the ring against the aisle side ropes and cage wall Sabin and Hernandez have locked up, Hernandez pushes Sabin back, Sabin falls back a bit then runs forward and jabs hard into Hernandez over and over with good side foot work, he then hits the ropes and runs into going into Hernandez but Hernandez catches him and rolls him up onto his shoulders, going forward for a powerbomb, Shelly though manages to drop back onto his feet behind him. Hernandez turns around and Sabin nails him with a straight side kick to the jaw, and followed with a jumping toe kick to the back of his head finally taking Hernandez down. He then stands and runs for the patrolling Gabriel, going up him and onto the shoulders, coiling over his body and going for an octopus style submission but Gabriel stops him, going to drop him down on his head but Sabin gets out of that and drops down to the mat, looking for a roll up. Gabriel however snorts and reaches down, grabbing Sabin with both hands by the neck and pulling him up hard style. He goes to follow up but Sabin springs to life and starts whaling on him with back hand chops. He then hits the ropes again, running in but Gabriel sees him coming as has to takes to the air, turns Sabin and pushes him hard flying back first into the cage. Now Sabin having dusted off Homicide for a moment comes in and starts to work over Gabriel with right hands to the head and chops to the chest. Gabriel however runs forward to charge art him spear style, Shelly however is able to move out of the way. Hernandez and Homicide now stand, throwing away Hayabusa who them were double teaming and looks over at the guns that have now regrouped together. You can see the hate in their eyes they have for each other, but that turns to a nod of understanding. All for men then run in and engage Gabriel from all sides to a big pop. All of them knowing they have to work together to take out this big threat.
“That’s it! Nobody wants to see the tag titles passed around those bastards! Get him guys!” JR yells. “Um JR…biased much?” Cornette replies.
Hernandez and Homicide grab and arm each, Sabin and Shelly grab a leg each and all together they heave the big man up and throw him hard into the cage. Sabin then nails a kick to the back of the head and the Guns point at each other, running to the ropes and both jumping up on two sides, spring boarding off and both nailing the back and front of Gabriel’s head with springboard kicks. Hernandez then grabs him and with all his might able to heave Gabriel up in the border toss, Homicide climbing the top rope and flying off with a cross body onto Gabriel, as Hernandez drops him with the border toss. The Guns then grab Gabriel and slam him headfirst into the cage again before taking him to the corner and nailing the made in Detroit to a huge cheer from the gun sided fans.
Gabriel is now down but none of them have noticed that behind them Hayabusa has started to climb up the cage. The four men then turn and see this, all running forward and climbing as well. The crowd builds in anticipation as five men are now climbing up to the top of the cage. Darkside of Hayabusa reaches the top perch but Sabin is there to meet him. Meanwhile Shelly was half way up but when LAZ drop down, Hernandez then comes in as Homicide nails Shelly in the back and goes underneath him on the cage wall, and slamming him down off it with a sit down powerbomb. LAZ regroup, double stomp Gabriel for good measure and then start to climb up again themselves. Sabin is trading blows with Hayabusa as sees this. He then takes a big breath, and vaults his leg up into the hurricanrana position on Hayabusa, dropping back and holding upside down onto the cage walls frakensteinering Hayabusa off the top of the cage ad sending him down into LAZ and taking them off and down from the cage wall as well. As three collapsing in a heap in the ring as the crowd go insane for that one. Multiple replays are show as how Sabin pulls himself back on the cage and breathing hard looks around, then puts one leg over and starts to climb down. After a few more moments of climbing he drops down and has escaped the cage.
“Yeah but Shelly needs to get out as well” Cornette tells us.
Shelly pulls himself up in the ring and looks around as the carnage, seeing what has happened and then turning his head and looking at Sabin as he yells for him to get out. He nods and runs full speed for the cage, climbing up it fast like spider man but when he is almost at the top, Gabriel is there and pulls on his leg, yanking him hard down off the cage by the leg. But in mid air Shelly reverses it, bringing his other leg up and turning it into an ensurguri! The crowd is going nuts for the Guns now as Shelly stands, stumbles and then goes for the cage wall again. Climbing up. In the ring LAZ start to stir but they are too late, the noise gets louder with every step until finally Shelly drops to the mat, the crowd explodes and the bell rings.
“Ladies and Gentleman!” Finkle yells over the noise as the referees bring around the titles belts “your winners and NEW World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Champions! The Motor City Machine Guns!”
The crowd is jumping up and down with delight as the guns are handed their belts and get their hands raised, hugging each other in celebration.
“Wow! They have done it again!” Calls JR “they were robbed and screwed last month out of those belts but they got the back just like they said they would.”
In the ring LAX, Hayabusa and Gabriel are now up and cursing, Gabriel slamming the cage hard with his hands as the Guns looks up at him with a smile, holding the belts up and backing up the aisle.
“But folks the question is; Where is Kishin Liger? And did that change take the Dominion’s head out the game. Hayabusa especially seemed off…I guess we will find out” JR finishes as we fade to the back.
Interlude
We fade back in to Gene Okerlund in the interview stage.
“Well congratulations to the Motor City Machine Guns indeed. But right now I am here with the man who is going for the big one. His last chance at the World title was ruined by the man he faces for it and revenge here tonight. Ladies and Gentleman AJ Styles!” The crowd pops huge as AJ comes into shot, his blue hood down half covering his face with the letters AJ where his eyes would be “AJ, indeed it is the chance of a lifetime. I chance to fulfill the dream you got into this business to do and that is become World Wrestling Federation Champion. You do so facing the man you vowed revenge again. But he is the owner of this company, he is 7 feet tall and he is evil, he is the Undertaker.”
“Well Gene when you put like that…is makes me want to fight him even more!” The crowd cheer “you see at Summerslam I has a chance to fulfill that dream you are talking about. More than anything in the world I want to be World Wrestling Federation Champion…or at least I did. I did until that son of a bitch cost me that dream. Now that dream is still the main dream but it is not the only one anymore. I vowed that next night last august that I would fight through anyone, through anything to get to him and make him pay. Well tonight I get the best scenario I can think off. Tonight I do both. I got out there and get my revenge I have waited for SO long to get and then I achieve my lifetime goal of becoming champion. Undertaker I am not afraid of you because you evil bastard you should be afraid of me!”
With that he walks out of shot and Okerlund sighs, turning to the camera.
“Ladies and Gentleman…that next. Here we go.”
WWF Championship
The challenger get a huge positive ovation, he takes down his hood as he enters the ring. Undertaker gets mostly thunderous boos. In ring announcing for this one.
When the announcements have been finished the senior referee Earl Hebner holds up the championship belt for all to see, showing it to champion and challenger before handing it to the timekeeper. The two moves forward going to nose to nose now, Undertaker looking down with his steeling icy stare and AJ looking right back up at him with no sign of backing down. We than see him say “pay back time.”
They are then pushed back into their corners and the referee calls for the bell. AJ comes right out of his corner, lifting his hands in a grappling position ready stance and waiting for the Taker to come in. Taker has his hands raised in a boxing like style and moves in, not wanting to be the once to make the first move. AJ does moving forward and kicking at the legs, and then going in to nail Undertaker but Taker grabs him by the neck with both hands and pushes him back into the corner choking him there until the referee comes in and counts forcing Taker to break it. Undertaker moves off, chasing down the ref and then turning and being nailed with a straight roundhouse kick to chest that reels him back. AJ then runs to the corner, and leaps up onto the top rope, coming around and down for a cross body but Taker grabs and him and swats him down out of the air, pushing him to the mat below.
“Oh no. I think that mistake may cost the challenger big time here!” JR calls.
AJ goes to push himself up on his hands and knees but Taker is right there and boots him hard in the back of the head. He then lifts him up and backs him into the corner, reeling back and nailing a shot to the ribs, and other side and then the chest and head. He then hammers into AJ over and over with rights and lefts until Hebner forces him to break it. He does so backing off and turning but then coming back around and in, driving the point of the elbow into AJ, slamming his head back into the top buckle. He then grabs an arm and whips Styles across the ring into the opposite corner, running with a full head of steam in for the sandwich closeline but Styles is able to use the top rope to pull himself onto the apron, leaving Taker to crash in the corner. AJ that throws caution to wind again and heads to the top rope as Taker stumbles back and then flies off with a cross body block into a cover for 1.
Styles stands and Taker sits right up, but AJ hits the ropes and comes back in nailing Taker with a hard kick to the side of the head taking him down and then following that up with a senton leg drop and covering again and again getting 2.
AJ now whips Undertaker into the corner and runs in, jumping up onto him there and going for a monkey flip but Undertaker brings up his hands and grabs them around AJ’s neck throwing him back and off. AJ rolls back from the double arm chokeslam throw but roll back right onto his feet and runs back in again, jumping up and hitting a jumping side kick to Undertaker’s head dropping him in the corner. He then follows that up with Jeff Hardy style swinging dropkick and then a springboard moonsault into a cover for 1…2…NO!
AJ now runs the length of the ring but Taker sits right up and stands, and as AJ comes in takes his head off with a big boot. He then grabs the arm and pulls him up with it, wrenching on the arm as AJ calls out and then lifting him with it into the air and dropping him down to the mat. He then pulls him up by the arm again and backs into the corner for old school, rising up and walking the top rope, but AJ pulls back and then leaps up nailing a kick that sends Taker flying from the top rope to the mats below to a huge cheer for the crowd.
AJ stands and Taker rises on the outside and then runs the length of the ring, vaulting over and twisting in the air down onto Undertaker with a fuseberry flop. The crowd start chanting for Styles as he rising and then jumps onto into the ring apron, the ref counting now, but he ignores him as Taker gets up on the outside again he leaps up onto the top rope and down onto Undertaker with a springboard moonsault to the floor but Taker catches him upside down, turning and drives him down into the mat with a tombstone on the outside! The crowd reacts with shock and boos as Taker falls to his knee and drops.
“Oh that’s it! Its over!” Cornette yells “I hate to agree but yeah, it is. AJ is not moving.”
Taker stands now and grabs AJ, throwing him into the ring and covering him for 1…2…NO!!! The crowd goes nuts as AJ kicks out.
“I think he waited too long! Do it again!” Cornette cries out. “Or maybe AJ just is that defiant to not lose here!” JR replies.
Taker rises up furious and reaches down grabbing AJ by the throat and driving him into the mat with a chokeslam.
“Its over!” Cornette calls as Taker covers again for 1…2…NO! AJ kicks out again!
The crowd starts to chant Styles name now. Taker is furious; ref faced as he stands, slamming the corner and then picking Styles up and smashes him hard in the face over and over with right and left hands. He then pulls him in for the last ride, lifting him up onto his shoulders and raising him up high, but AJ drops down coming to life out of self preservation and rolling down his body turning it a sunset flip roll up for 1…2....NO! Taker just kicks, the shock almost getting him.
AJ starts to rise but he is hurt bad, turning and Taker is right there and blasts him with another right hand, and another left, vicious repeated blows, he cries out with rage with each and beats him back into the corner, beating on him there. The referee comes in and Taker nearly gets himself DQ’s by continuing buy finally does back off, but then runs in and boots AJ hard in the face, leaving him to drop down in the corner. You can see the bruises and welts on Styles face from the vicious beating, his eye swelling up as he is groggy in the corner.
“AJ is just being punished now! Punished for daring to not be stepped on here tonight!” JR calls in disgust.
Taker comes in again now, vicious intent on his face as he ignores the ref and pushes him aside, grabbing AJ and pulling him up in the corner. Going to strike him again but AJ blocks it and fires back, the crowd pop big, and another and another, the crowd are getting louder with each as AJ beats him back into the centre of the ring and then with everything his has left hits a Pele kick. The crowd are going nuts as AJ slumps to the mat but then start to crawl and puts him arm over for 1…2…NO! Taker kicks out.
AJ is out of it as he pulls himself away and up on the ropes, turning and Taker sits up to boos. Taker stands and comes in for the weak Styles swinging hard for him again but AJ ducks it and kicks as his legs, swing from Taker and again a ducks and kick from AJ, swing, duck kick again. On the final one AJ ducks it and kicks Taker in the gut, going to set him up for the Styles clash. The crowd standing into anticipation but Taker runs forward and slams into the ref, sending them both crashing into the corner and the referee down. The crowd boos and JR says their feeling “oh god! Here comes the Dominion. Just watch.”
But they don’t come. Taker obviously as always wanting to stand alone, either that or he doesn’t see Styles as a big enough threat. Taker now standing and grabs AJ, pulling him in and dropping him with another chokeslam.
He then stands and falls back, cutting the throat. The crowd reacts with boos, all standing as Taker comes in and scoops AJ up, dropping him with the tombstone. The crowd sit, knowing it’s over, the ref starting to stir. Taker crawls over and places the arms over the chest of AJ for the cover. But the referee is not there. Taker snarls and turns, yelling to the back to get him another referee. Behind him one of the camera men slide into the ring.
“What the hell is that camera man doing?” Asks Ross. “Get him out of the ring!” Yells Cornette “there is no Union around here!”
Taker turns around to see the camera man, frowning in confusion towards him and then yelling at him to get out of the ring. The camera man caries on filming.
“I said get out of the ring or you are fired right now!” Taker yells in anger.
With that the camera man drops the camera, reaches up and pulls off his sunglasses and cap, pulling down his hood to reveal…Bret Hart! The crowd lets blows the roof of with a thunderous ovation. Taker gets wide eyed and drops his jaw, the noise of approval from the crowd deafening. Then over it Bret smiles and yells “I’m already fired!”
With that he runs forward and into the surprised Phenom, cracking the camera over his head and breaking the mic off. The crowd pop huge. Security now hit the ring, night sticks in hand. The crowd are jumping up and down, the roar still loud as ever with some boos as Bret is handcuffed and escorted away by security.
“Yeah! Slammer time you interfering…jobless moron!” Cornette yells.
The camera crew watch as Bret is taken away out of sight. Chants of “Bret! Bret! Bret!” Start up over the thunderous roar. Finally is renewed as AJ starts to crawl, the crowd now yelling for him move. He looks around in confusion, not knowing what’s happened but then drops forward, placing an arm over Undertaker. The referee now crawl over, the crowd yelling or him to count and he does 1…2…3!
The roof is raised; the pop is ear bleeding as the crowd explodes with the ring bell. AJ’s music hits and it gets louder still, front row fans jumping up and down in their aisle in celebration.
“Your winner and…NEW! World Wrestling Federation Champion! AJ Styles!” Finkle announces.
“NO!” Cornette screams.
“Oh my God…he’s done it! It took that…shocking appearance from Bret to do it but AJ has achieved his dream! He is the WWF Champion!”
“No no no no no!” Cornette replies in panic “get another ref out here! Show them the replay! This is wrong JR. AJ is no better than any of my guys or Taker! This is wrong!”
“Something about a Gose and the Gander Jim.”
AJ is now handed the belt and tear well up in his eyes as he takes it. Finally he rises and gets his hand raised. The crowd going nuts as he hugs the belt and drops down and out of the ring is disbelief. He heads up the aisle, holding the belt close and jumping the rail to celebrate with his public.
After all the celebration is done…back in the ring the Undertaker finally sits up as the music dies. The crowd a laughing and taunt him, he ignore them, his face is that of a rage even he has never shown as he looks at the aisle and then goes over to the announce table and yells down.
“This is not over! He is not the champion!” Taker growls and then heads out of the ring, storming up the ramp to the back.
“I think he’s going to find AJ. What did he say? Not the champion? Well he is Taker! AJ Styles is your new WWF Champion! It was called! It’s official.” “Well…” Cornette says smugly “we will see about that! Go find him and that pink moron and beat them to a pulp boss!”
With that we fade into a promo for No Way Out.
Royal Rumble Match 2011
Howard Finkle is standing in the centre of the ring.
“Ladies and Gentleman it is now time for the Royal Rumble Match!” The crowd roars in response “in a moment the superstars who drew numbers one and two will enter, another superstar will enter every 2 minutes until every superstar has entered. The only way you can be eliminated in this match is by going over the top rope and both feet hitting the floor. The last man standing when all is said and done will be the winner and will go on to face the World Wrestling Federation Champion in the main event of Wrestlemania!” The crowd cheer again and are now standing anticipation.
“And now” he continues on the house mic “let us all find out who drew number one!”
*Play 1 & 2*
The first superstar to enter is the Miz who does so with Chelsea looking nervous as hell but trying to hide it, obviously not happy with his draw. “Damn it! Who arranged this?” Cornette yells. “Well he has had a lot of bad luck since the Undertaker took over” JR replies “but I am told the drawing was random. Miz will have his hands full tonight if he is to win for sure but remember your other boy MVP did it last year.
As if in response the second person to enter…is MVP. Miz looks on wide eyed and hits the corner in aggravation as MVP makes his way down with Sherri behind him.
“Oh! Who arranged this?” Cornette curses at the announce tabled “this is BS! God Damn it! Son of a…”
“Random drawing Jim” JR sounds very happy “MVP the winner of the last Royal Rumble last year and he did it from this very starting point at number 1. Will he do it again this year and will the Miz survive with him like Samoa Joe did? Sherri coming out with MVP. Will we get a cat fight outside?” “NO! The Company know how to behave they will work together….they haft to! Come on guys you haft to!”
*Play ring bell*
“And the bell rings, the clock begins and we are under way here in the Royal Rumble!” JR calls.
The two women are now at the ring apron slamming the apron for respective men. MVP and Miz are staring at each other warring now, stepping forward and now starting to have an attitude filled conversation we cannot here. MVP now lifts his hands up going for the lock up, Miz reaching up and going to do the same and…both men back off and walk away, pacing the ring and limbering up, MVP pulling on the top rope as Miz does stretches. They come in again no, feeling for each other’s hands again for the lock up and again backing off. The crowd boos loudly now as the two go to warm up again as their women yell for them. Finally now they got for a collar elbow tie up now, reaching for each other, launching forward and…breaking into a smile as they shake hands. Chelsea and Sherri clap, the crowd boos heavily.
“Yes! That’s the ticket! Work together! Survive until the end and then sort it out between you. See that’s why they are my boys JR! Smart men!” Cornette is ecstatic on commentary”yes! Number 3 is screwed!”
“That they may be” JR sounds annoyed as MVP and Miz have now broke into a conversation in the ring, seeming to be complimenting each on their attire and ignoring the match completely.
“Well this is an exciting start to the rumble isn’t it folks?” JR scoffs.
Finally after another half a minute of stalling the clock appears and starts to count down.
*Play 3*
Number 3 is the Macho man Randy Savage! The crowd jump up in cheering and excitement as Savage slides right into the ring and ducks under a closeline for MVP and nails into the Miz with an elbow, turning and nailing MVP with another. The crowd is roaring loudly in approval as Savage pumps up and goes after Miz again booting him in the gut and taking him down with a hard shot, then turning, chopping MVP then grabbing him by the hair, grabbing the groggy rising Miz by his head and looking out at the cheering crowd for approval and then going to knock their heads together but they block it, turn and take Savage down with a double closeline. The live crowd boos now as Miz and MVP rally together stomping the hell out of Savage on the mat. Miz then lifts Randy’s head up as MVP hits the ropes, runs in and nails him with a drive by Kick. MVP goes to the rope, signaling the end and yelling at the booing crowd before going in with Miz and both proceed to push Savage against the ropes, trying to push him over the top. Savage however gets a shot to head of Miz and boot to MVP sending them back and escaping the attempt but like pack hounds they jump right back on him and beat him back into the mat as the clock starts to count down again.
*Play 4*
Number 4 is the World Most Dangerous Man Ken Shamrock! Shamrock get a great response from the crowd as he rises up the steps and yells out, entering the ring and catching MVP running in a taking him over and down with a side to side belly to belly. Then grabbing Miz and taking him down with a belly to belly himself.
“NO!” Cornette yells out in despair “come on!”
Shamrock is already in the zone as he stands and charges for Savage now taking him down with a closeline and turning and taking both Company men down with a double closeline to a big pop. He now picks MVP up and points towards the ropes as the crowd cheers, he takes him towards it and goes to dump him out but Miz is back from behind hammering into Shamrock. Both he and MVP are back up now and start double hammering into Shamrock now, stomping him down on the ropes when from behind comes Savage breaking them apart. He backs off and MVP runs for him and it taken over with a back body drop. Miz watches this and turns right into Shamrock who grabs him and throws him out over the top rope but Miz is able to land on his feet on the apron and come back in. Shamrock is unaware of this and is going to work on MVP now, forming a temporary alliance with Savage as the clock counts down again.
*Play 5*
Number 5 is Dolph Ziggler! As Ziggler slides into the ring MVP is on the ropes being pushed out by Shamrock and Savage.
“NO! Ziggler help him! You want to be the Company? You can be! Just help him!” Cornette is yelling at the top of his lungs.
Ziggler does indeed come in and nail Shamrock and Savage in the back, hitting Macho with a zigzag and then dropping Shamrock with a DDT. He turns now and goes for the rising Miz.
“No! Not him!”Cornette yells, he boots the Miz in the gut “that’s it your out of the Company!”
“This is gonna be a long hour folks” JR sighs.
“Wait…wait!” Cornette changes tones as Miz holds out his hands, points to MVP who looks back and then appears to offer Ziggler an alliance “Yes! Ziggler your back on the list of prospects.”
The three of them then team up and go to work, hammering the fan favorites down and trying to eliminate them. All three have Savage against the ropes when Shamrock attacks and is taken down himself. It looks bleak as the beat down on the two continues. A zigzag dive by kick combo takes down Savage; Shamrock is taken down with SCF. They then all three targets the biggest threat, Shamrock, and work together to throw him out and over the top rope eliminating him. Shamrock hits the mat and slams into it in rage as Ziggler, MVP and Miz hold up their hands taunting the crowd a trash talking as the clock starts to count down again.

He stands and catches MVP coming in, boots Miz away while holding MVP and then taking him over with a belly to belly. He then grabs Miz and takes him down with a German Suplex to finish up. The crowd is jumping up and down, going crazy as Angle crouches and double stomps the mat waiting for Ziggler to stand and then charging forward as he does and close lining him over the top rope and out to a huge pop from the crowd. Angle yells out something as he spins in signature style and turns charging and catches MVP and sending him over the top and out with a belly to belly over the top rope to the floor eliminating him.
“NO!” Cornette cries out and we here him hit something as the crowd is blowing the roof of the arena and breaking out into a chants of Angle’s name.
“Last year’s winner who survived it all is not so lucky this year! MVP is gone!” JR yells in delight as MVP stands, holding his neck and has a tantrum ringside.
Back in the ring now Miz stands, shaking off the damage and turns, coming too and realizing what has happened. He gulps as we get a shot of Cornette with his head in his hand at the announce table.
“Miz, your plan didn’t work buddy. Time to run” JR calls as Miz looks right into the predator like eyes of Angle who now smiles back at him.
“God damn it! Son of a…!” Cornette is cursing meanwhile.
Miz now turns and tries to run out through the ropes to the outside but Angle catches him and takes him over and down with a German Suplex. Angle now stands and turns right as Savage is back up now. “The first of the poison” JR comments.
“You are so fired tomorrow” Cornette replies but then continues calling the match “Hayabusa none too happy I will bet after his tag partner no showed and of course then losing the tag titles.”
As he says those words Hayabusa has entered the ring and begins hammering into everyone he can get his hands on, he is beating down on the Miz and turns, stopping and realizing that Kurt, Savage and KENTA are stood behind him having him surrounding like prey.
“Oh how the tables turn!” JR says with glee.
Hayabusa runs forward driving through the legs of KENTA as they all reach for him but as he stands Angle grabs him by the waist and drives him down with a German suplex.
He moves in when the Miz attacks splitting the group up and dividing attention. Angle picks Hayabusa up still and goes to deliver another German but as he throws him back over, Hayabusa floats over, grabbing the head and driving him down with a falling reverse DDT.
Meanwhile Savage and KENTA and now beating down on the Miz, KENTA then goes to grab Miz but Savage gets in the way, Savage goes to grab Miz but KENTA gets in the way. Both have their egos and their agendas and now as Miz breathes a sigh of relief they begin hammering into each other first with chops, then with blows. Danielson gets into the ring and he and Angle drop to catch stances, ready to engage each other when from behind comes Hayabusa and Dynamite to loud boos, attacking them both with a shots, chops and elbows and beating them back into the corners and the ropes. Bryan fires back with a straight kicks to the chest, beating hard on the chest of Dynamite and then finishing up with a big boot taking his head off. He then turns seeing Angle slimily dispose of Hayabusa and the two lock eyes again. They crouch back into the ready stance and circle each other, the crowd buzzing with anticipation and finally they lock up. The struggle back against each other now, Angle Bryan back into the ropes but Danielson turning it and sending Angle back first into the ropes, Angle reverses that and twists into the corner, and now drops down grabbing the back of the leg and using it to try and push Danielson over the top rope, but Bryan brings down the point of the elbow fighting him back away. He then runs in with a closeline but Angle ducks down underneath it and grabs a rear wait lock, dropping back for a German suplex, but Danielson lands on his feet and runs in for the high knee but Angle ducks under that and again grabs a rear waist lock and this time successfully taking him down with a release German suplex.

Unlucky for many is Samoa Joe at 13! Hayabusa has now got up in the ring and looks over to him in the aisle with a sick smile, ushering him into the ring. Joe growls with monstrous rage as Hayabusa starts to direct him. Joe heads straight for the Dynamite Kid, charging and closelining him hard over the top rope to the floor below eliminating him. He then heads for Kaz and kicks him in the gut, and tossing him out as well. Hayabusa now points over at the rising KENTA, yelling at him to take him out as well. Joe snorts and turns like a beast on a leash coming in but as he does KENTA charges forward and engages him with right hands, Joe starts to fight him off Hayabusa coming from behind when Kurt Angle, Savage and Danielson come in now and begin beating on them both. Danielson takes Hayabusa down with a kick and turns just in time to see as Joe heaves with an almighty roar tossing all three other men across the ring. The crowd gasps.
“Holy…hell! Samoa Joe was a monster before but with the Undertaker’s mind games…” JR comments in disbelief.
“Yeah…where’s Miz? Oh there he is! Get out of there! Now!” Cornette responds in panic.
As if hearing him Miz drops out behind all of them, out of sight as he climbs down through the middle rope and gets in a kneeled position on the mats below, keeping his head low and watching the action in the ring.
“See JR. My guys are smart” Cornette says to which JR responds with a “humph.”
Back in the ring now Joe hammers into KENTA then grabs him and with a heave throws him over to the top rope to the floor and out of the match. Hayabusa now stands and laughs as he sees this, then begins directing Joe as they hammer into the others, the clock again counting down.

Number 14 is Mr. Anderson. Anderson comes out in his usual cocky manner, gum in his mouths as he starts towards the ring then stops as he sees what is going down. He approaches slowly, taking his time and at the moment staying on the outside by the aisle way. Joe growls as him then turns to the active targets in the ring. He reaches down to grab Danielson but Bryan hammers into his with hard shots and then a straight round house kick to the chest, sending sweat flying, and another and another he begins backing Joe back until he then charges forward and takes Bryan’s head of with a closeline. On the other side of the Hayabusa is having his trouble as well as Angle has started to hammer back until Joe comes in with a clubbing blow from behind, turns Angle around and takes him over and down with the t-bone suplex. Joe stands, breathing hard and snorting as Hayabusa now points him as Savage. Savage jumps up, running forward and jumping so as to bring the point of the elbow down onto Joe’s head, he then turns and does the same to Hayabusa, chop to Joe, chop to Hayabusa, elbow to Joe, Elbow to Hayabusa. Savage looks like he has everything under control here; fighting them both off until from behind comes Mr. Anderson now in the ring. He hammers and then stomps him down to the mat, then reaches down and picks him up, throwing him to the rising Samoa Joe. Joe grabs Savage by the back of the head and turns, throwing him out over the top rope and to the floor. Savage stands on the outside and slams his hands on the apron, looking up into the eyes of the man responsible for his downfall in Mr. Anderson. Ken grins smugly, then brings his hand up and taunting waves him goodbye. That sets Savage off he grabs the top rope and tries to enter the ring, the referee’s coming in and trying to pull him down when incomes Anderson taking advantage and hammering into the head of the lower Macho man on the apron. But as he is doing this from behind with a running closeline comes Samoa Joe, sending him flying out over the top head over the heels, Randy grabbing him and helping him over and out onto the floor with him for the elimination.
“Joe has already matches himself from last year just about! 5 people!” JR calls. “Yeah but look at this, they aren’t happy about it!”
Savage and Anderson getting into a shouting match on the floor, then a pushing match, then they begin to trade blows back and forth, brawling back up the aisle. The heated feud exploding before our eyes over what just happened as finally security and extra ref’s arrive able to the pull them apart and take them to the back.

“What? Wait? What?” Cornette is almost speechless “that’s…that…”
“Jushin “Thunder” Liger! That’s where he was! He’s back! That blow to the head Monday must have done more than we thought! Oh my…Joe and Hayabusa look like they have seen a ghost!”
“They have!” Cornette shakes his head.
Yes at 15 is Jushin “Thunder” Liger back in the red and white. His two former teammates stare on in disbelief, wide eyed as he steps into the ring. He points to the crowd who roars in thunderous approval and then points at the two in the ring. Both Dominion members faces turning from disbelief to anger. Behind then Kurt Angle and Danielson are now up and are staring like they can’t believe their eyes either, frowning and looking at each other in confusion. The crowd has still not sat down as now…he rushes forward and hammers into his former tag partner Hayabusa to a huge roar of approval from the capacity crowd! Joe comes in and gets a shot as well, then turns and is met by Angle and Bryan who begin hammering into him from both sides. Liger now is hammering with a mighty fury, built up rage of his real personality obviously coming out as he beats Hayabusa into a pulp in the corner and then nails a dropkick, sending him flying over the top rope and out of the match to a loud pop. As Hayabusa rises on the outside and slams the ring apron Joe is having problems of his own. Angle and Bryan hammer him into the mat and then turn to look at the masked eyes of Liger. Both frown, obviously not sure to trust him after Survivor Series but both turn back to the immediate threat of Joe, bringing him up and backing him into the ropes. Both grab and side and begin pushing him over, Liger coming in and pushing up with Joe’s legs, the crowd standing in anticipation of the elimination. Joe however is able to fight them off, but then Liger charges forward and nails another dropkick with sends him flying over but he is able to catch himself with the top rope, but Angle and Bryan grab the fingers and begins grabbing at them…however Joe in a last ditch effort bring up his feet and boots them both in the head with two good shots and then pull himself in threw the ropes to a huge sigh of disappointment from the crowd. Joe looks enraged as he finally gets onto his feet again and grabs Angle Liger for the mat, grabbing him and tossing him out over the top but Liger is able to catch himself and land on the apron, pulling himself back in behind Joe’s back who has not noticed and has gone to work on Angle. Joe hammers Angle down and then turns just as Liger comes in and nails a dropkick. Joe stumbles back but does not go down. Liger grabs him and heaves him over with a snap suplex. Angle is now back up and goes in behind Booker T, grabbing him from behind in a rear waist lock but Booker reverses it but Angle reverses it again and takes him over and down with a German suplex.
Liger now has Joe on the ropes again, Angle coming in to the help, and then Bryan is back. Joe has not got as much fight left in him and his begins toppling backwards over the top from the triple assault when the clock starts to count down again.

*Play 6*
Number 6 is Kurt Angle!
“Oh! No no no!” Cornette calls as Angle runs down and slides into the ring fired up.
Angle stands in a ready stance and waits for one of the three to make a move, they a spreading out looking at each other a picking their spots before finally all three run forward but Angle hammers into the them and goes behind Ziggler taking him down with a release German Suplex.

Unlucky for many is Samoa Joe at 13! Hayabusa has now got up in the ring and looks over to him in the aisle with a sick smile, ushering him into the ring. He then heads for Kaz and kicks him in the gut, and tossing him out as well. Hayabusa now points over at the rising KENTA, yelling at him to take him out as well. He reaches down to grab Danielson but Bryan hammers into his with hard shots and then a straight round house kick to the chest, sending sweat flying, and another and another he begins backing Joe back until he then charges forward and takes Bryan’s head of with a closeline.
