Ring of Honor Death Before Dishonor 2010 Build Up Date: 30th January 2011 From: Norfolk Scope, Norfolk Virginia Attendance: 3,500 Theme Song: Puddle Of Mudd - Nothing Left To Lose Tag Line: Orton Vs Daniels II
Full Impact Pro World Heavyweight Championship Big Show (C) Vs Yoshi Tatsu
Road to the Second Year Anniversary World Tag Team Championship Tournament Round Robin Tournament
Ring of Honor are known for there focus on tag team wrestling, and ROH were not to disappoint on those people, as a huge three month tournament featuring four of the best tag teams were to be fought over the next three PPV’s, with the winners getting a World Tag Team Championship match at the 2nd Year Anniversary Show. The format of the tournament was simple, it was to be a round robin tournament, that meant that every team would face the other team once and the team to score the most points were to get the Tag Team Title Match, in the event of a draw then the teams would face off at Glory By Honor in another match with the winning team getting the championship match. The four Teams involved in this tournament are:
- Former ROH Tag Team Champions Beer Money, since losing the belts in June 2009, Beer Money have been on a mission to get them back, having multiple opportunities over the past eighteen months, even having a main event match at a PPV to try and capture the championships, even though unsuccessful, Beer Money want to prove they are the best tag team in the business and if they win the tournament then they get another chance to prove it
- Ring of Honor Originals The Kings of Wrestling, this team has had great success in ROH, coming close on many times to becoming Tag Team Champions themselves, being ROH Originals have helped them immensely, the fan base is right behind them and the team is near enough untouchable. Kings of Wrestling want to prove they are the Kings when it comes to Tag Teams and if they win the tournament, that maybe the way to prove it.
- The most recent number one contenders Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder, since coming into ROH many people have been laughing and forgetting about this tag team thinking that they don’t belong but in the short space of time that they have been in ROH, they have been able to knock of many accomplished tag teams, even beating Beer Money at Rising Above last November, Hawkins and Ryder with there manager Kevin Nash at ringside this could be the chance and time to show the world that they mean business.
- The final team are the Self Proclaimed World’s Greatest Tag Team, there arrival into ROH has been outstanding, the athletic and wrestling background both men come from merge together really well. These two men are considered to be uncrowned champions and this tournament could be what they need to finally get the championships they have been longing for.
These four teams will wage battle in a round robin tournament with the winners getting a Tag Team Championship Match at the 2nd Year Anniversary; the rules for this match are simple. Each match will last fifteen minutes, if you lose you get zero points, if you draw meaning that the time limit expires then you get one point, should you win the match then you get two points. The team with the most points are the winners and will advance to the championship match. The brackets for the tournament are as follows:
Round One – Death Before Dishonor Beer Money Vs Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder Kings of Wrestling Vs Worlds Greatest Tag Team
Round Two – The Big Bang Kings of Wrestling Vs Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder Worlds Greatest Tag Team Vs Beer Money
Round Three – Glory By Honor Worlds Greatest Tag Team Vs Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder Beer Money Vs Kings of Wrestling
2 Points – Win 1 Point – Draw 0 Points – Loss
Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Championship Randy Orton (C) Vs Christopher Daniels
Sheamus Vs Hiroshi Tanahashi
Triple H Vs Low-Ki
Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championships Austin Aries and Tyler Black (C) Vs London and Kendrick
Ring of Honor Pure Championship Nigel McGuinness Vs Chris Benoit (C)
Following the events of Dethroned and Worlds Collide Two where Randy Orton was able to retain his championship against Christopher Daniels and beat CM Punk in the Champion Vs Champion match, but the other members of The Revolution were not so successful, Sheamus losing his FIP World Championship, Triple H getting destroyed by both Batista and Taz, RVD put out of action for four weeks because of the beating he took from Abyss in the I Quit Match. Sheamus and Hunter were on the end of some heavy verbal assaults from Orton who berated both men for there lacklustre performances at the PPV. Orton explains that it’s nearly do or die time, and that just because both men are heavily regarded in the wrestling, when it comes to The Revolution only the strong survive in this group, even if Orton goes it alone. He gives both Hunter and Sheamus an ultimatum, if either man loses at the next PPV they will be exiled from The Revolution. Hunter and Sheamus both look nervous at the predicament but know that Orton there leader is serious as he leaves the locker room. In the ROH locker room Christopher Daniels is being consoled by some of the ROH faithful, McGuinness and Low-Ki telling Daniels not to worry as he will get another shot, with that Tyler Black walks into the locker room and everyone stops talking and looks at Black, he has stitches in his head from the beating between Aries and Black at World’s Collide Two, No-one has heard from Austin Aries since WWC2. Tyler Black is standing there holding his Tag Team Championship Belt as members of the ROH roster look on in anger, Daniels steps forward and gets into the face of Black as both men stare each other down and Daniels shoves Black out the way walking out of the locker room. Black stands there on his own with the roster looking at him when from behind Aries cracks Black around the back with a steel chair taking him down, Aries with stitches and cuts all over his face from the beat down just has this manic look in his eyes. He just keeps slamming the chair across the back of Black not letting up. Members of the ROH roster are shouting at Aries to lay it into Black but McGuinness, Low-Ki and Doug Williams restrain Aries and try to calm him down but the damage has been done as it looks like Austin Aries and Tyler Black are no more as we cut to commercials. Back from commercials we see Hayman talking to Aries trying to calm him down but Aries is in such a rage he is throwing things around, Hayman then explains that he has an idea that will suit Aries and that he will announce this idea on next week’s HDNet Show. However Austin Aries was going to be in action tonight against Doug Williams, both men are respected by the other and it shows with neither man gaining an advantage by cheating, in a great technical match that lasted over twenty minutes, but Aries gets the win with the last chancery submission but as soon as the bell sounds Tyler Black just kicks Aries in the face and starts beating him down as security comes into the ring but Black superkicks them and takes them down, Black is all over Aries just dropping him down with punch after punch then superkicking the crap out of Aries’ head, the announcers lose count at how many times Tyler Black superkicks Austin Aries but all we know is that Aries needs medical help right now, as Black throws his arms in the air and notices Randy Orton on the aisle way smiling and looking at Tyler Black who stares back and then points to the World Championship, Black grabs his Tag Team Championship belt and throws it on the floor then elbow drops it signifying the end of the tag team of Austin Aries and Tyler Black as the show fades to black.
The opening of the following week’s show has so many questions that need to be answered. But first there was to be great action in the ring as Christopher Daniels was to team up with Nigel McGuinness against the ROH World Champion Randy Orton and NWA’s Chris Benoit. The match was back and forth but Daniels and McGuinness won via disqualification when Orton low blowed Daniels and started to beat him down, Hunter and Sheamus come running down into the ring and start a three on one beatdown to Daniels, McGuinness tries to help out Daniels but Benoit attacks from behind and throws him to the outside going to attack him. Hunter and Sheamus lift Daniels to his feet, Orton stares into the eyes of Daniels and slaps him across the face and then spits in his face, finally dropping Daniels down with the RKO. Orton gets to his feet and gets jeers from the crowd leaving the ring but as he gets to the ropes he stops and his face begins to twitch, he is gritting his teeth and begins to smile turning round and shouting loudly, running at Daniels and hitting him with the punt kick. Orton drops down to his knees and looks directly at Daniels who is down and out, Orton with a sly smile slithers under the bottom rope and holds his World Championship high as we fade to a commercial break. Back from commercials we see Daniels is still in the ring being treated by the medical crew who put him on a stretcher and wheel him out of the arena and into an ambulance, ROH originals and roster members look on in hope that Daniels will be okay, but there focus can not be shifted too much as they need to focus on the matter of The Revolution, even though one man down they are a driving force that Is slowly eradicating everything that ROH has built. We cut to the Revolution locker room; they are celebrating there post match assault on Daniels. “You see guys that is what needs to be done. No more playing nice, we need to take out each member of the ROH roster until no-one can stand in our way, yes RVD maybe still out for another three weeks but don’t worry because I have two members who can join The Revolution and will help us become even stronger than we once were. After tonight The Revolution will be closer to getting what we want!” Back from commercials we see Heyman in his office typing away at his laptop, seemingly trying to sort out some ROH financial business when Low-Ki, Nigel McGuinness and Taz walk into the room and Nigel begins to speak to Heyman “Look at what is happening, Aries and Daniels have both been taken out, we are losing generals fast, Low-Ki, myself and The Briscoe’s are the only men left that are the backbone of ROH, if we get taken out then structure of ROH will crumble into a bloody mess. Heyman I am not saying this to attack you but, if you don’t do something about this then we will have to take matters into our own hands.” “Look when I came to ROH, people said it was one of the greatest blessings in wrestling history, as far as I have worked out it has been nothing but a pain, we have people fighting over here, championships going to NWA, people being taken out, and I am sitting here trying to book the venues for future ROH house shows and PPV’s. yet no-one gives a shit what I do, they care about wrestling, well let me tell you something guys, Whilst it may not be the most respected tactics in wrestling today The Revolution are making a message and they are not bitching and moaning to me about it, I am not your nanny guys, for seven years I fought my ass off for a company I helped run, I was up twenty four hours a day making sure that it would get to the next day in one peace. So McGuinness, tell your crew that if they want to make an action then do it because I don’t care what you do, your not getting any help from me, now leave this office I have phone calls to make” McGuinness sternly looks at Heyman and then leaves the room followed by Taz and Low-Ki who also look quite angry at Heyman. There was no time to dwell as in the main event of the show Triple H was to take on The Monster Abyss, in what was a vicious and brutal match in which Abyss nearly crushed Triple H, Hunter disqualified himself hitting Abyss over the head with the sledgehammer, the bell kept ringing as Hunter hit Abyss over the back of the head with the sledgehammer again dropping him down to the mat. Hunter begins to celebrate his attack as McGuinness, Low-Ki, The Briscoe’s and Batista all come running into the ring and take down Triple H in a five on one assault just beating him down. McGuinness takes Hunter down with a jawbreaker lariat but reinforcement arrives as Sheamus with a lead pipe and Orton with a steel chair comes running into the ring and starts taking out people left and right. More members of the ROH roster come running down into the ring; it has now turned into an all out war with the ROH roster wanting to take out The Revolution. (Play Hardy) Matt Hardy comes running into the ring with the crowd in mixed reaction. Hardy goes straight after Orton but doesn’t attack him as he takes the steel chair and waffles Batista over the head with it, Hardy then begins to take down any member of the ROH roster who comes towards him with chair shots. The crowd are enraged at what Hardy is doing, Orton raises his arm high as Sheamus and Hunter hug Hardy, who is the newest member of The Revolution but Orton said there were to be two people to join there group so everyone was waiting for the second man as Orton grabbed a microphone “You see, The Revolution only choose the best men for the job and with that being said let me introduce you to the newest member of The Revolution, Matt Hardy! But wait there is more, I said that two people were to join us tonight and increase our strength, so let me introduce you to the second newest member of The Revolution” The arena is buzzing at who it could be, Orton points to the entrance ramp as Sheamus, Hunter and Hardy stand in the ring grinning and waiting for the second man to join the group. (Play Lashley) The crowd are in total shock as Bobby Lashley makes his way down to the ring, getting into it and shaking hands with Orton, all five men stand tall in the ring with ROH roster members being laid out all over the arena but The Revolution can’t celebrate for too long as we cut backstage and we see Christopher Daniels walking with intent to the ring, Orton is shouting at Daniels that it’s five on one and that he won’t make it out alive but Daniels doesn’t care anymore, he just wants to get revenge on Orton for what he did earlier in the night (Play Daniels) Daniels runs down the aisle way and looks to slide into the ring but then stops and points to his head as he then points to the entrance ramp (Play Taz, Morgan and The Dudley Boys) The numbers are now even all five men rush into the ring and start attacking The Revolution, beating them down but they all escape except Orton who looks to be taken down with the angels wings but he escapes and quickly gets out of the ring as The Revolution regroup on the ramp, Daniels grabs the microphone from the mat “Hey Revolution, you want a war well you got a war, ROH is not stepping down for anyone, we will make sure the Revolution will cease to exist and that is the gospel, quoted by Christopher Daniels” Daniels stands tall in the middle of the ring with support from fellow ROH wrestlers, they are standing tall and are a force to be reckoned with as The Revolution look on in the aisle way as the cameras fade to black.
The next week on HDNet The Revolution are irate at what happened last week, they seemingly plan for something to happen tonight but they see the cameraman filming them and they all turn around and start beating down the camera man giving him a spear into a locker door. They leave the locker room psyched and ready for the night’s action. In the ROH locker room, there is a sense of togetherness as everyone is cheering for ROH, they are all standing tall and will want to work together to take down The Revolution. With that the cameraman spins around and we see Austin Aries standing in the doorway. McGuinness, Low-Ki and Daniels welcome Aries back as the locker room look as Tyler Black is walking past, Aries sees this and legs it out of the locker room and attacks Black, throwing him into the wall and choking him out with the cameraman’s cable. Aries is not letting go and no-one in the ROH locker room is stopping Aries, they know that Aries wants his revenge. But out of nowhere The Revolution take down Aries and start beating him down but the ROH locker room just fly out and start attacking The Revolution throwing them around the backstage area fighting towards the entrance ramp as Daniels is beating down Orton, Taz is beating down Triple H, Sheamus is being attacked by Big Show, Hardy is being attacked by Matt Morgan and Bobby Lashley is being attacked by multiple wrestlers. They are fighting all over the ringside area not letting up. Aries and Black are battling backstage and fight into the crowd. There is mayhem all over the arena (Play Abyss) The crowd go insane as James Mitchell walks out with his monster Abyss who is holding a steel chain and swinging it around, walking down to ringside and is taking down anyone in his way, Revolution members or ROH roster it doesn’t matter, Abyss is just attacking anything that moves. We see Aries throwing Black over the barricade into the ringside area. Aries gets onto the barricade and jumps off onto Black with the crossbody. Wrestlers are flying everywhere as Abyss is taking them out with steel chain shots. Abyss enters the ring and goes right after Orton but Orton takes Abyss down with an RKO, Black and Aries fight into the ring, Orton joins Black in taking down Aries just beating him down. This time The Revolution has gained the upper hand just beating down Aries making an example from him getting superkicked by Black, Orton looks to go for the punt kick but Black stops him and looks Orton straight into eyes. Orton steps back as Black slowly picks up Aries and puts him on his shoulders going for the paroxysm but Aries counters into a tornado DDT. Orton grabs hold of Aries looking to take him down with an RKO but behind stands the seven tall behemoth known as Abyss who grabs Orton and takes him down with a shock treatment. Aries stumbles to the corner and climbs to the top jumping off with a 450 splash but Tyler Black catches Aries in mid air with a superkick. Black gets to his feet and looks down at Aries and begins to smile. He slowly picks up the world championship and holds it around his waist, he goes to leave with it but The Revolution beatdown Black and take the belt and take Orton with them escaping more damage but this means nothing as the ROH roster and Abyss get out of the ring and go chasing after The Revolution who are high tailing it, running through the backstage area and getting in a car and driving off, members of the ROH roster throwing stuff to hit the car but for now the Revolution are beaten for another week. We cut to ringside were we see Aries slowly rise to his feet and sees that Tyler Black is on the mat holding his head. Aries slowly picks up Black and spits in his face then takes him down with a brainbuster. Aries gets to his feet and puts one foot over the chest of Black then raising his arms in the air as the cameras fade to black.
It’s the final week before Death Before Dishonor and the final preparations before the PPV were in full swing, The Revolution even though have been beaten the last few weeks, now that RVD will be able to come back by Death Before Dishonor, that means that Revolution will have six members and will be very strong, Tyler Black has been banned from the arena and will not be seen on TV till the PPV. In the ROH locker room tensions are running high, no-one wants to make a final mistake before the PPV that could suffer them a loss, the anger between both sides has finally boiled over and is now becoming almost gang style warfare. No-one is willing to back down and that is the case with Daniels and Aries. These two men are the centre of the entire war and they want to prove they are the best in the business. Members of the ROH Roster circle around both men and tell them that they have there back and that together they will get rid of the Revolution once and for all. The matches on HDNet tonight were to be a prelude to the PPV in six days time, Austin Aries was to face Paul London in lue of there Tag Team Championship Match at Death Before Dishonor, London and Kendrick having won a number one contender’s tag team battle royal at a house show in Florida just ten days earlier. Christopher Daniels was to take on both Chris Benoit and Randy Orton in a triple threat match with Nigel McGuinness as the special referee. McGuinness having problems with all three men but none more so than Chris Benoit who beat him for the Pure Championship, it was announced that McGuinness would get his rematch for the title against Benoit at the PPV. Nothing was as big however than the match signed for the main event, Christopher Daniels getting another shot at the World Championship facing Randy Orton. In the matches Paul London was able to get the surprise win over Austin Aries when a fan jumped the barricade and superkicked Aries in the face whilst Kendrick distracted the ref, London hit the 450 splash to get the win, that fan was Tyler Black, security come chasing after him but he bolts for the exit and escapes but whether he likes it or not he has to team up with Austin Aries to defend the Tag Team Championships against London and Kendrick. In the triple threat match Chris Benoit was able to get the win after making Orton tap out too the cross face, however after the match was over McGuinness got the last laugh by putting the London dungeon submission hold onto Benoit and forcing him to pass out. Also the two opponents named for Hunter and Sheamus to face off against at Death Before Dishonor were announced, Triple H would have to contend with the speed and agility of Low-Ki, whilst Sheamus was to face the incredible Hiroshi Tanahashi, both men have to win there match otherwise they are exiled from Revolution for good! With the final HDNet show before the PPV coming to an end, it seemed that going to the PPV was not going to be as hard as first thought, everyone was civil and besides the problem with Tyler Black, there was not as much insanity as there was the last few weeks. So with Death Before Dishonor lurking the road to the Second Year Anniversary is drawing to a close, with three months left till the big event. Now was the time to make a statement. Who will rise to the bait and who will walk out of Death Before Dishonor with there head held high?

Ring of Honor Death Before Dishonor 2010 Date: 30th January 2011 From: Norfolk Scope, Norfolk Virginia Attendance: 3,500 Theme Song: Puddle Of Mudd - Nothing Left To Lose Tag Line: Orton Vs Daniels II
Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Championship Randy Orton (C) Vs Christopher Daniels
The show opens up with a video package highlighting the rivalry between Randy Orton and Christopher Daniels. Also the war between the Revolution and Ring of Honor roster is heavily shown and the matches that could change the face of Ring of Honor forever. Once the package ends we get the intro to the PPV as we cut to a pan shot of the jam packed Norfolk Scope Arena in Norfolk Virginia. The crowd are ready for the night’s action and the first ROH PPV of the year and the beginning of the road to the 2nd Year Anniversary Show. We go straight down to ringside and the commentary table with Matt Striker and Joey Styles. “Hello everybody welcome to Death Before Dishonor 2010, the first ROH PPV of the year and the beginning of the road to the 2nd Year Anniversary, tonight expect a hell of a show, The landscape of ROH maybe changed forever tonight. The Revolution could be experiencing some changes, that’s if Sheamus and Triple H don’t win there matches tonight but also Randy Orton defending his Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Championship against the Survival of The Fittest 2010 winner Christopher Daniels. Orton was able to get the win last month at Dethroned but Daniels gets another shot tonight and will it finally be his time to become World Champion, tonight it shall be answered.” “That’s right Striker, both men have said that they will win tonight and that they will be Champion, but we shall see who has the ability to back up there words but also in toe Aries and Black who have an extreme hatred for each other, the team looks to be dissolved as we have seen on HDNet, but they are still World Tag Team Champions, tonight they defend there championships against Paul London and Brian Kendrick, will Kendrick and London be able to take the advantage and get the win and the championships or will Aries and Black somehow retain those championships we shall see. But lets send up to ringside and Bobby Cruise for the first match of the evening” “Ladies and Gentlemen the opening contest of Dethroned is scheduled for one fall and is for the Full Impact Pro World Heavyweight Championship” (Play Show/Tatsu) Tatsu looks at Big Show who stands there waiting for the bell to sound, Big Show gives the belt to the referee as the referee holds it up high to show the fans what this match is for then giving it to the time keeper as he calls for the bell and the first match of Death Before Dishonor 2011 begins. The size different is clearly seen, Big Show just overshadows the number one contender Yoshi Tatsu who won his chance to face the FIP Champion at Dethroned. Show begins to smile and extends the hand to Tatsu who accepts and goes to shake hands but Show just takes Tatsu down with big kick to the head. Show just easily with one hand picks up Tatsu to his feet and throws him into the corner. Show then tells the crowd to be quiet; Show just stretches his hand out and then slaps Tatsu across the chest with it in a gun sounding like chop, Tatsu just slumps down into the corner, Show just steps on Tatsu’s neck choking him out but the referee starts counting Show out who breaks the hold at three. Show shouting at the referee that he has plenty of time. Show goes over to Tatsu and takes him from the corner and lifts him up and down with a scoop slam just driving Tatsu into the mat. Show just in complete control just walks over Tatsu with his size 17 5E boot causing Tatsu to start coughing. Show just looks around into the crowd whom are cheering for him, Show goes over to Tatsu and picks him up throwing him into the ropes and grabbing Tatsu and locking him in a bearhug just trying to squeeze the life from Tatsu, but Tatsu is just trying to fight out of it, just trying to escape but the tree like arms of Show are just too much for Tatsu who starts to fade away, Show sees this and breaks the hold letting Tatsu just fall to the mat. Show not even breaking a sweat falls down to his knees and covers Tatsu for 1…2…NO! Show breaks the pinfall and nods in disapproval, picking up Tatsu and throwing him hard over the top rope and too the outside with a splat. Show just stands tall in the ring walking around almost marking his territory. Show moves to the ropes and steps over the top to the ring apron looking at what he can do next to Tatsu. He steps down from the ring apron and takes the almost lifeless body of Tatsu and throws him hard into the steel barricade sending Tatsu back first but then takes Tatsu down with a hard kick to the skull on the outside. Show just takes the head of Tatsu and drives hit multiple times into the steel steps. Show just throws Tatsu right into the barricade again. Tatsu is just trying to crawl away from this onslaught of punishment but Show isn’t letting him. Show just picks up Tatsu and drives him spine first into the steel ring post. Show just throws Tatsu through the second and third ropes and into the ring. Show slowly enters the ring and calls for the end. Waiting for Tatsu to makes it to his feet going for the chokeslam but Tatsu counters with a DDT taking Show down. Tatsu cannot get the advantage from the beat down he had taken to him, Show is able to get to his feet first as he waits for Tatsu to get to his feet going for the knockout punch but Tatsu ducks and Show hits the referee right in the face knocking him down and out. Show goes over to the referee and sees that he is knocked out, Show turns around and Tatsu starts kicking Show’s legs. Trying to kick him down but Show pushes Tatsu away. Tatsu has a second wind coming going after Show again going for a kick to the chest but it doesn’t phase Show much, Tatsu keeps trying with kicks and punches and chops, anything to hurt Show but nothing seems to work. Tatsu runs at Show who lifts Tatsu up into the military press position. Show looks to dump Tatsu to the outside but Tatsu counters dropping the arm of Show over the top rope causing Show to drop Tatsu who lands on the ring apron. Show stumbles around in the ring, Tatsu springboards off the ropes with a dropkick onto Show knocking him back into the ropes, Show comes back going for a knockout punch but Tatsu rolls out of the way, holding his back in pain. Tatsu from behind chops one of the legs of Show taking him down to one leg. Tatsu starts to feel it and kicks Show right in the head reeling Show, Tatsu keeps gaining momentum running to the ropes coming back with a shining wizard reeling Show even more. Tatsu grabs the head of Show going for another DDT but Show with his huge over throws Tatsu over him and onto mat. Show shakes his head trying to get his bearings straight. Show turns around and sees the referee has not moved since that knockout punch. Show gets to his feet and turns around and gets kicked in the head by Sheamus with the brogue kick. It stumbles Show backwards but he comes back and Sheamus hits Show again with the brogue kick. Show falls down to his knees but Sheamus hits Show for a third time with a brogue kick taking Show down to the mat. Sheamus leaves the ring and grabs the FIP World Championship getting back into the ring waiting for Show to get to his feet, Sheamus goes to knock Show out with the championship belt but Show grabs Sheamus and takes him down with a vicious chokeslam. Show turns around to a roundhouse kick to the gut from Tatsu. Show falls down to his knees as Tatsu climbs to the top turnbuckle and jumps off with a leg drop across the back of Show’s head driving him down to the mat. Tatsu takes his chance climbing the turnbuckle again waiting for Show to get to his feet jumping going for the roundhouse kick again but Show counters with the knockout punch in mid air as Tatsu just falls down to the mat in a heap. Show stumbles over to the referee and starts slapping him in the face trying to bring life to him get anything he can to get an official up. Show turns around and gets cracked in the skull with the FIP Championship by Sheamus who takes down Show. Sheamus then waits for Show to get to his feet and hits him again with the Championship belt. Show is down on the floor as Sheamus takes Yoshi Tatsu and drags him over the top of Show; Sheamus goes to the referee and throws water over him trying to revive him. He takes him to the centre of the ring. The ref sees the pinfall and begins to count 1…2…3!!! The bell sounds and Yoshi Tatsu is announced the winner and the NEW FIP World Champion thanks to Sheamus screwing Big Show out of the championship. Tatsu hasn’t moved since being hit with the knockout punch. Sheamus puts one foot on top of show and raises his arms to huge boos from the crowd. “Well what can you say about that, Big Show defeats Sheamus for the championship last month, but get screwed tonight by Sheamus and loses his championship to Yoshi Tatsu!, this is a HUGE win for Tatsu but if I were Sheamus I would be worried at what could happen when a 7ft tall angry giant will be wanting revenge for what happened.” “Well you reap what you sow, Sheamus wants to prove to his leader that he deserves to be in The Revolution and to take a championship away from the ROH locker room, that should help him here tonight in terms of confidence when he faces Hiroshi Tanahashi, but also Triple H is involved in a match tonight against Low-Ki and backstage we have JB who is with Low-Ki to talk about this match” “Thank you Striker and Styles, I am joined right now by Low-Ki who looks to defeat Triple H and takes him out of The Revolution. So tonight Low-Ki what is your strategy to take down Triple H?” With that Taz walks past the camera but before he leaves he stops and gives a glare from under him towel and begins to smile and walks away as Low-Ki takes the microphone “The plan is simple. Take him down at any cost! Once Hunter is dealt with then Hardy, Lashley and Orton your next on our hit list, ROH is coming to take you down once and for all!” “Ladies and Gentlemen the following contest is Round One of the Road To The Second Year Anniversary Tag Team Championship Tournament scheduled for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit” (Play Beer Money/Hawkins and Ryder) Both teams talk to each other one final time before the bell sounds, James Storm starts for Beer Money and Hawkins starts for his team. It was back in the November PPV Rising Above that Hawkins and Ryder were able to secure the victory over Beer Money and two months later they meet again in the Tag Team Tournament. The clock starts to count down; the match lasts no more than fifteen minutes. Storm and Hawkins lock up with Storm getting the advantage with the side headlock takedown. Holding onto the head trying to choke Hawkins out early but Hawkins is able to roll over to his stomach and gets to his knees elbowing Storm in the chest breaking the hold, Storm comes back and gets an uppercut to the jaw stumbling him into the ropes, coming back Hawkins takes Storm down with an inverted atomic drop followed by a clothesline takedown covering quickly for 1…2…NO! Storm gets the shoulder up! Hawkins starts stomping away at Storm then with a baseball slide dropping Storm to the outside. Hawkins taunts to the crowd getting boos from them. Storm claws onto the ring apron. Trying to get into the ring but Hawkins stops him with a knee to the face. Hawkins drags Storm back into the ring going for a quick take down but Storm counters with a backslide for 1…2…NO! Hawkins kicks out. Both men get to there feet and take each other down with a double impact clothesline. The clock is down to thirteen minutes. Hawkins is the first to move crawling to Storm looking to cover him but Storm plays possum and rolls up Hawkins in a small package for 1…2…NO! Hawkins gets the shoulder up. Both men slowly rise to there feet Storm picks up Hawkins taking him down with a spear quickly covering for 1…2…NO! Hawkins kicks out. Storm quickly tags in Roode who comes in quickly and takes Hawkins down with a kick to the back, rebounding off the ropes dropping the knee onto Hawkins quickly covering for 1…2…NO! Hawkins kicks out with just over twelve minutes left in the match. Roode takes Hawkins legs and drops an elbow trying to damage it. Roode stretching the leg with Hawkins just screaming in pain. Ryder quickly gets into the ring to break the submission but Storm gets into the ring and takes Ryder over the top rope with a clothesline to the outside. But I hear JB is backstage with a quick interview with Orton” “Ladies and Gentlemen JB backstage with Randy Orton and after what we just saw-“ Orton just grabs the throat of JB and slams him straight against the wall taking the microphone from his hand “What we saw was a miscarriage of justice, I said to my troops they needed to win there match tonight to stay in Revolution, Sheamus lost, he is out but the way he lost is the problem, Big Show, it will happen sometime but you take your breathing a lot more care because one day The Revolution will come to hunt you down and take you out for good, remember the man known as Undertaker who would take souls down into the depths of hell, Big Show be prepared for something a lot worse, The Revolution is coming to take you down once and for all, one were done with you, no-one will be able to recognise who you are. Christopher Daniels I hope your listening because tonight you’re the Viper’s next victim on my list, I beat you last month, tonight I end you career and take you out of this business FOREVER!” Orton lets go of JB who hastily leaves the locker room, Orton just stands then clutching his World Championship, turning round and seeing Lashley and Hardy next to him, Orton nods his head in approval as he sits down and looks at his World Championship once again “A dark and twisted side of Orton there claiming revenge is coming to Big Show and that his title rematch with Chris Daniels will be a sacrifice for The Revolution, this match promises to be one for the ages but lets send it to Bobby Cruise for the next match of the evening”

“Ladies and Gentlemen the following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the Ring of Honor Pure Championship” (Play McGuinness/Benoit) Both men are ready for this match, the referee checking there ring gear and giving them the instructions to this match, taking the championship from Benoit and showing it to the crowd signifying what this match is for. He gives the belt to the timekeeper and then signals for the bell starting this rematch off. “Benoit does not have a champions advantage in this match or his title reign, he opted for that once winning the title so if he loses by count-out or disqualification then the title belt goes back to McGuinness, however in a pure match there is a three strike rule so Benoit does have some lenience when in this kind of match. McGuinness on the other hand Styles has nothing to lose, this is his official title rematch and he has everything to win, this is Benoit’s to lose, in ROH country and in an arena that fits McGuinness he has a psychological advantage but with the crossface not banned in this match it could give Benoit back an edge making it 50/50 for both men” Benoit and McGuiness lock up tightly trying to out power each other, Benoit taking the arms of McGuinness trying to pull them back and go for a crossface early but McGuinness wisely counters turning Benoit around grabbing him by the waist going for a front suplex take down but Benoit the mat legend that he is counters McGuinness grabbing the head going for a quick sleeper hold but McGuinness drops down with a jawbreaker stumbling Benoit, McGuinness then takes the arm of Benoit and wraps it over the top rope and starts wrenching away but gets shouted at the ref as McGuinness breaks the count at three. Benoit tries to move away from McGuinness to try and get some distance but McGuinness is in pursuit getting close to Benoit and getting a stiff chop to the chest from Benoit getting a WOO from the crowd. McGuinness comes back with a chop of his own, Benoit with a knee to the gut and an elbow to the back of the head sends McGuinness down to one knee. Benoit takes the head of McGuinness and drives it down into the mat with a fameasser. Benoit quickly rolls McGuinness over and covers for 1…2…NO! McGuinness gets the shoulder, the crowd cheering on McGuinness. Benoit takes McGuinness and throws him hard into the turnbuckle grabbing him by the waist and hitting a german suplex, hands still clasped around McGuinness hitting a second, looking to go for a third but McGuinness wraps his foot around Benoit’s and rolls forward sending Benoit through the second rope to the outside. McGuinness shakes his head getting his bearings and then runs to the ropes coming back and jumping over the top with a suicide dive onto Benoit on the outside taking him down as both men are down on the outside, the referee starting his count. McGuinness is the first to move at a count of four stumbling to his feet taking Benoit to his feet and lifting him up and down with a suplex onto the barricade sternum first. Benoit just hangs on the top of the barricade as McGuinness with a swift kick to the skull sends Benoit slumping back to ringside. The count is at nine but this is a pure match so the ring out count goes to twenty. McGuinness takes Benoit and throws him headfirst into the steel post followed by a few clubbing blows to the back. McGuinness throws Benoit back into the ring and McGuinness slowly climbs the turnbuckle waiting for Benoit to get to his feet jumping off going for a clothesline but Benoit catches him and throws McGuinness over his head with an overhead belly to belly suplex. Benoit crawls over and covers McGuinness for 1…2…NO! McGuinness gets the shoulder up. Benoit whom is a mat wrestling legend grabs hold of the arm of McGuinness and goes for a simple armbar but then add pressure to the neck just driving his foot into the throat of McGuinness almost trying to choke him out, McGuinness has one arm free and is trying to use that to get to the ropes but Benoit breaks the submission up and drags McGuinness to the centre of the ring and goes to lock in a bow and arrow submission but McGuinness slowly fights out of it with a kick to the gut of Benoit followed by an uppercut stumbling Benoit face first into the corner. McGuinness takes the chance as he puts Benoit into the tree of woe and then picks Benoit up kicking him in the back and then dropping down with a short arm lariat in the corner to an applause from the crowd. McGuinness takes Benoit onto his shoulder and drives him down to the mat with a death valley driver. Taking the leg of Benoit and locks in the sharpshooter, the same submission that caused McGuinness to tap out and lose his championship. McGuinness has it locked on tight just gritting his teeth and shouting at Benoit to tap out who is just grabbing his head and shouting in pain, McGuinness doing anything he can to make the pan worse, grabbing the rope when the ref isn’t looking, sitting lower almost touching Benoit’s back, but Benoit is a fighter and a warrior and is not letting up so easily. He slowly crawls closer and closer to the ropes but McGuinness drags Benoit to the centre of the ring and drops the submission hold and quickly applies an STF to Benoit. The crowd are going crazy willing McGuinness on and shouting at Benoit to tap out, Benoit is trying anything he can to break the submission hold. His arm is in the arm just shaking around trying to get some momentum going, it looks as if Benoit may tap out but he keeps fighting through the pain rolling over and getting to the ropes getting the break and getting booed by the audience. McGuinness breaks the hold at a count of four but like a shark tasting blood he doesn’t let p with stick kicks to the chest and head of Benoit, but Benoit wisely gets under the bottom rope to get a break on the outside whilst the referee is pushing McGuinness back telling him off and saying he will disqualify him. Benoit slowly stumbles onto the ring apron but McGuinness is there however Benoit with three shoulder blocks to the gut stop McGuinness in his tracks. Benoit then sunset flips over looking to taking McGuinness down with a pinfall but McGuinness holds onto the top rope and drops down on top of Benoit with a pin of his own holding the ropes for 1...2…NO! Benoit gets the shoulder up. McGuinness gets to his feet and waits for Benoit, like a animal hunting it’s pray McGuinness is getting built up aggression waiting for Benoit to turn around going for the jawbreaker lariat but Benoit catches the arm and drops McGuinness down to the mat and locks in the crippler crossface on McGuinness. Benoit just wrenching the neck of McGuinness shouting at him to tap out but McGuinness is fighting it trying to counter the submission. Benoit though has McGuinness right where he wants him right between McGuinness and the ropes making it harder for McGuinness to get a rope break. McGuinness is fighting as hard as he can, the crowd cheering on for McGuinness to escape. McGuinness has his hand in the air looking like he is going to tap out but keeps fighting trying to roll over and he does but Benoit doesn’t let go just holding for all he has got. McGuinness though is closer to the ropes and uses his feet to get a rope break to the crowd delight, cheering McGuinness on but has the damage been done? Benoit slowly rises to his feet with a cocky smile shouting at McGuinness that he should have tapped out. Benoit slowly picks up McGuinness and chops him hard in the chest sending McGuinness into the corner, another knife edge chop by Benoit and then a quick flurry of them, Benoit wanting to stay ahead of McGuiness not wanting McGuinness to get an advantage. Benoit lifts McGuinness onto the top turnbuckle and climbs up with a few headbutts to McGuinness reeling him, Benoit takes McGuinness from the top rope down with a superplex, both men are down as the referee is counting them both out. The ref is at a count of six as Benoit is the first to move rolling onto his stomach and crawling over to McGuinness looking to go for a cover but McGuinness plays possum taking Benoit into a small package for 1…2…NO! Benoit kicks out. Both men are on there knees and are chopping away at each other back and forth, the cheers and boos from the crowd show how much they are into this match, McGuinness getting the upperhand slowly rising to his feet taking Benoit on his shoulder looking to go for a TKO but Benoit counters into a backslide for 1…2…NO! McGuinness kicks out. McGuinness slowly rises to his feet and turns around and runs after Benoit who grabs McGuinness’ arm and looks to go for the crossface again but McGuinness counters turning Benoit around and dropping him down with the divorce court going for the London dungeon submission and locks it in but Benoit is too close to the ropes getting a break which McGuinness does at a count of four. Both men are wondering what needs to happen for them to get the win, McGuinness looks at the turnbuckle and gets an idea. Waiting for Benoit to get to his feet lifting him up and dropping him balls first onto the top rope hanging him them, McGuinness slowly climbs to the top turnbuckle and measure Benoit before jumping off with a vicious lariat across the throat of Benoit taking him upside down and inside out to the outside. McGuinness slowly rolls underneath the bottom rope and takes Benoit and throws him into the steel steps breaking them apart. McGuinness grabs Benoit and throws him back into the ring; McGuinness rolls into the ring and starts to attack the head of Benoit with stiff elbow and forearm shots. McGuinness calls for the end waiting for Benoit to get to his feet going for a lariat but Benoit ducks however McGuinness uses this to his advantage running to the ropes coming back going for the jawbreaker lariat but Benoit ducks and grabs McGuinness around the waist and drops him down with a german suplex, a second and a third. Benoit gets to his feet and gives the cut throat gesture slowly climbing the turnbuckle looking to go for the diving headbutt but McGuinness falls onto the top rope tipping Benoit and dropping him on the turnbuckle. McGuinness stumbles over and takes the head of Benoit and slowly pulls it forward going for the tower of London and connects! McGuinness covers Benoit for 1…2…NO! Benoit gets his foot on the bottom rope. McGuinness is in absolute shock of what just happened, shouting at the ref that It was three but the ref keeps saying it was two, McGuinness just calls for the end waiting for Benoit to get to his feet going for the jawbreaker lariat again but Benoit catches McGuinness and locks in the crippler crossface for a second time. McGuinness is just screaming in pain, Benoit just wrenching on McGuinness shouting for him to tap out but McGuinness is fighting out of it trying anything he can but he is in the centre of the ring. Benoit has it locked in tight just shouting at McGuinness to tap out. McGuinness is trying to fight it but he is slowly passing out but he has no choice as McGuinness taps out The bell sounds as Benoit breaks the hold and is announced the winner, Benoit slowly rises to his feet and gets his hand raised be the referee who hands him the Pure Championship, Benoit has successfully retained his Pure Championship against Nigel McGuinness. Benoit leaves the ring rising the Pure Championship high walking to the back. “That was a wrestling clinic in that match, both men gave there all but Benoit was able to beat McGuinness but this time was able to retain his Pure Championship, what does this mean for the state of the championship now that an NWA Wrestler is holding the belt?” “I am not sure Styles but all I know is that if we saw more of Benoit in ROH, it can’t come too soon! But lets send it to Bobby Cruise for the next match of the evening” “Ladies and Gentlemen it’s now time for your semi main event of the evening and is scheduled for one fall and is for the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championships” (Play London and Kendrick/ Aries and Black) Kendrick and London are in the ring waiting for there opponents but no-one comes out, the music is played again and again no-one comes out. We cut backstage and we see Aries and Black just going at it with each other backstage Aries just attacking Black throwing him into anything he can, grabbing a lead pipe and hitting Black around the head with it. Aries throws Black down the backstage area and into the entrance way. Kendrick and London are still in the ring looking on. Aries takes Black and whips him hard into the barricade followed by a dropkick sending Black over the barricade and into the fans. Black trying to get away but Aries grabs hold of Black and suplexes him over the barricade back into the ringside area straight onto the concrete. Aries getting a massive pop from the crowd. Aries is not finished as he takes Black and throws him hard into the steel steps breaking them apart. Aries takes the steps and just keeps hitting Black over the head and shoulders with them. Aries throws the steps to one side and takes the almost lifeless body of Black and throws him into the ring as the bell sounds. Kendrick looks to go after Black but Aries stops him, Aries looks down at Black and gets a sickening smile as he rolls out and grabs the steel steps and throws them into the ring. Aries takes the lifeless body of Black and lifts him high and drops him down onto the steps with the brainbuster splitting Black’s head wide open as blood begins to pour from the head of Black. Aries just with no expression in his face looks down at Black. Aries then grabs hold of one of the World Tag Team Championship belts and looks at it then dropping the belt over the face of Black. Aries looks to leave the ring but then stops and looks back and smiles. Aries slowly walks to the ropes and slowly climbs the turnbuckle getting cheered by the crowd. Aries sets himself up taking a deep breath and then shouting out that Black caused this. Aries jumps off and hits an almighty 450 splash with authority onto Black. Aries slowly rises to his feet holding his gut and looks at Kendrick and nods his head. Kendrick covers Black for 1…2…3! The crowd are in shock as the nearly one year long championship reign of Aries and Black has come to an end but not in the way many envisioned. Kendrick and London and given the Tag Team Championships but Aries snatches one of the belts away, Kendrick and London look at Aries but Aries gives them one death style look and they back away. Aries just slowly looks at the belt and then looks at Black who slowly stumbles to his feet with help from the ropes, covered in blood. Aries looks at the championship belt and then slams the championship belt over the skull of Tyler Black. Aries looks at the belt and then drops it to the mat, Kendrick reaches in and grabs the championship belt and runs away as they leaves the ringside area and walk to the back. Aries meanwhile is in the ring and puts one foot on top of Black and raises his arms to a huge cheer from the crowd. Aries slowly leaves the ring and slowly walks to the back, turning round and taking a look at the position that Tyler Black put Aries in and the consequences of what happened been seen before his eyes. No longer a Tag Team Champion, but now a loose cannon wanting revenge! “Well ladies and gentlemen the implosion was coming, from the title shot that Aries got in October to the jealousy of Black, it was apparent this team was not going to last much longer, Black elbow dropped the championship on an edition of HDNet breaking the team up. But tonight a new side of Aries was born, tonight he lost the World Tag Team Championships but that was the least of his worry, he got a bit of revenge over Tyler Black but I think that tonight was just the beginning.” “Can you blame Aries, he did what he had to do, Black brought it upon himself but ladies and gentlemen it’s time to for the main event of the evening so lets send it to Bobby Cruise for the final time” “Ladies and Gentlemen the following contest is your main event of the evening” “There we see Daniels coming from the ROH locker room, getting a stand ovation from the guys in the locker room, Daniels looks focused and ready to go, tonight he gets his rematch at becoming a World Champion, we hill for fill his dream, at Dethroned he was unable to become champion but will tonight be any different, we are about to find out” (Play Daniels) “Now coming from the Revolution locker room is the current World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton, by hook or by crook he has been able to remain champion for almost ten months, will tonight be his final night as champion or will Orton still be reigning over Ring of Honor after the night has ended, he beat Daniels last month at Dethroned, will he make it two for two at PPV’s with Daniels tonight at Death Before Dishonor, we are about to find out” (Play Orton) “Ladies and Gentlemen when the match begins senior referee Todd Sinclair will officiate the match, and now it is time for your Death Before Dishonor main event of the evening, it is a rematch from Last Month’s Dethroned PPV and will be for the Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Championship, introducing first the person to my left he is the challenger, he weighed in this morning at 225lbs and comes to us from The City Of Angels, He is the 2010 Survival of The Fittest Winner and current Number One Contender to the Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Championship, introducing the challenger “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels.” Daniels ascends the turnbuckle getting a massive ovation from the crowd as he slowly gets off them and looks straight into the eyes of Orton “Now introducing his opponent, standing to my right, he weighed in this morning at 245lbs and comes to us from St. Louis Missouri, he is the current reigning and defending Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton” Orton slowly raises the belt high getting a loud jeer from the crowd but it doesn’t phase Orton who just stands there looking dead into the eyes of Daniels as Orton gives the bell to Todd Sinclair who shows it too the crowd to officially show what this match is for. Sinclair then asks both Orton and Daniels to walk to the centre so he can check there ring gear to make sure no cheating or illegal items are hidden for use in the match, Sinclair explains the rules for the match and that there is no leeway, finally he asks Orton and Daniels to shake hands with each other wishing them luck in the match and sending them to there corner. Both men are looking at each other intently both begin attacking each other with rights and lefts as Daniels kicks Orton in the gut and attempts a suplex but Orton blocks the attempt and instead rolls around to the back of Daniels and puts him in a small package for a 1…NO! Daniels kicks out. As Orton turns around Daniels runs at him and smacks Orton hard in the face with a dropsault causing Daniels to stumble backwards into the turnbuckle. Daniels runs at Orton and hits a high knee. Daniels picks up Orton and throws him to the outside; Daniels begins to attack the lower back of Orton by punching away at the back. Daniels also rips up the protective flooring and hits a piledriver to the concrete flooring. Daniels starts to the pose to the crowd. Daniels comes back into the ring and waits for Orton to get up, Orton shaken clutches onto the ring apron and pulls himself up but Daniels takes control taking Orton from the ring apron back into the ring with a delayed vertical suplex and a cover for 1…2…NO! Orton gets the shoulder up. Daniels goes to the turnbuckle and starts to take off the turnbuckle pad but the referee spots this and starts to shout at Daniels but Orton take the chance and hits the back of Daniels causing Daniels to become rocked and going head first into the exposed turnbuckle, Orton then tries a inverted backbreaker onto Daniels but Daniels elbow’s Orton in the face as Orton goes down to one knee Daniels hits a enzuguri. Daniels rolls to the outside of the ring and begins ripping away at barrier showing the metal barrier and no padding. Orton rolls to the outside to blindside Daniels but Daniels sees this and moves out the way as Orton runs into and over the barricade into the first and second row of fans. As Orton gets up Daniels grabs Orton by his head and rams his head repeatedly into the steel railing as Orton’s neck Jacks into the railing causing him to start coughing and spluttering. Daniels is seen smirking as he takes Orton over the barricade and throws him back into the ring covering him for 1…2…NO! Orton gets the shoulder up Daniels grabs a hold of Orton into a suplex position and positions him onto the top turnbuckle as it seems that Daniels is about to hit a superplex but Orton headbutts away at Daniels and pushes him off the top rope slamming him to the mat. Orton readies himself waiting for Daniels to get up jumping off with a crossbody onto Daniels covering for 1…2…NO! Reversal from Daniels covering for 1…2…NO! Orton kicks out. Daniels wanting to put the champion away as quick as possible picks up Orton and hits a running neckbreaker. Both men get to there feet and start to trade punches with each other until Orton gets the upper hand by applying a headlock onto Daniels. Orton just synching in the hold like a viper restricting the flow of blood trying to wear down Daniels. Orton just gritting his teeth and locking it in tighter and tighter, the crowd are cheering for Daniels willing him on but Orton gets the scissors around the waist making it harder for Daniels to escape but Daniels getting the crowd behind him slowly starts to turn around and elbow Orton in the gut then a open hand chop to the face takes Orton and whipping him into the ropes but Orton counters whipping Daniels and taking him down with a perfect powerslam pin covering for 1…2…NO! Daniels gets the shoulder up. Orton rises to his feet and falls back into the ropes coming back with a big knee drop to the head of Daniels rolling through to his feet. Orton with that viper like look just goes over to the fallen Daniels and starts to stomp away at the limbs of Daniels, first the legs and then the chest and the head, stomping all around Daniel’s body going for a second knee drop and connecting covering Daniels again for 1…2…NO! Daniels kicks out. Orton starting to get a little frustrated that Daniels keeps kicking out but he keeps focused however on the match and hauls Daniels up to the top turnbuckle and looks as if Orton is about to hit the RKO on Daniels but Daniels kicks McGuinness in the gut and hits a diving spear from the top rope to which both men fall down to the ground. Daniels crawls over and goes for the pinfall for 1…2…NO! Orton gets the shoulder up. Daniels desperately shouting at the ref saying it was a three count but the ref keeps saying it was a two. Daniels slowly stumbles to his feet waiting for Orton to get up, Orton runs at him but Daniels catches him and drops him down with a backbreaker onto his knee and then flips back with the C-4 to a great response from the crowd covering Orton again for 1…2…NO! Orton kicks out. The crowd booing this as they thought Daniels had the match won. Daniels begins to work on the head of Orton and starts hammering away with knees to the head. Orton every time trying to escape is held down by Daniels who hits Orton with more knees to the back. Orton falls down flat on his back as Daniels gets up and runs to the ropes jumps in the air and looks as if he will drop a knee to the head of Orton but Orton rolls out the way and Daniels rolls through the knee drop so he does not get hurt. As Daniels turns around Orton kicks Daniels in the stomach and goes for the inverted backbreaker but Daniels counters this time with shots to the head and then a rolling neckbreaker. Orton falls down to the outside but Daniels doesn’t wait as he gets up in the ring and runs through the middle rope with a suicide dive taking out Orton. Daniels slowly gets back up holding his neck throwing Orton back into the ring. Orton is crawling in the ring as Daniels looks like he may punt Orton in the skull for payback of what happened last month at Dethroned but just as Hardy is about to kick Orton in the skull, Orton grabs the leg of Daniels and whips him hard down to the mat. Orton keeps the pressure on Daniel’s leg by applying a simple but effective leg lock that sees Daniels in excruciating pain, Daniels lowers his shoulders down to the mat and the referee gets a two count before Daniels gets one of his shoulders up. Daniels is inching himself to the ropes just slowly getting there but as he is about to touch one of the ropes Orton drops the head and stomps Daniels right in the face taking him down and out. Orton slowly drags Daniels to the centre and covers him hooking the leg for 1…2…NO! Daniels kicks out. Orton waits for Daniels to get to his feet and goes for the RKO and CONNECTS! Orton crawls over and covers Daniels for 1…2…NO! Daniels kicks out. Orton is just there with a look of sheer shock and surprise on his face as he believed that would finish the match. A tear is seen in Orton’s eye as he gets back to his feet. Orton starts to climb the turnbuckle and looks as if he will try an elbow drop onto Daniels but Daniels stops Orton by pushing the ropes causing Orton to fall onto the turnbuckle, Daniels slowly stumbles and crawls to the corner slowly climbing up and meeting Orton. both Daniels and Orton exchange shot after shot with each other and Daniels falls backwards teetering looking as if he will hit the floor but then all of a sudden Daniels comes back, shots are exchanged between the both of them until Daniels takes both of his arms and wraps them round Orton, Daniels then stands up onto the top rope and jumps off hitting Orton with a C-4 from the top rope!. They both come crashing down to the mat as the crowd start chanting “Holy Shit”. Daniels with every ounce of strength crawls to Orton and with only just his hand on Orton’s chest attempts a pinfall for 1…2…NO! Orton gets his foot on the bottom rope getting the break and getting booed heavily by the crowd Daniels just has that thousand yard stare in his eye as he uses the ropes to drag himself back up to his feet but as soon as lets go of the ropes Daniels falls down to one knee. Orton just crawls into the corner and is laying there on the bottom turnbuckle. Daniels runs to Orton and dropkicks Orton in his face. Daniels just slides down as Orton is lying next to him. Daniels slowly gets to his feet with the help of Orton as both men start punching away at each other and the crowd start cheering and booing when punches are thrown. Daniels gets cheered and Orton gets booed. Orton somehow takes the upper hand and knees Daniels in the chest causing Daniels to bend down. Orton then attempts the inverted backbreaker and this time hits it. Orton attempts a cover for 1…2…NO! Daniels somehow kicks out to the crowd enjoyment just almost blowing the roof off cheering for Daniels. Orton just looks towards the crowd as they are shouting and cheering for Daniels. Orton begins smiling to the crowd as he picks himself back up and takes Daniels whom is still dazed and is helped back up Orton who picks up Daniels and places him on the top rope seemingly attempting the RKO onto Daniels from the top rope but as Orton pulls forward Daniels pushes Orton off the top slamming him onto the mat. Daniels takes the chance going for the BME but Orton rolls out of the way but Daniels lands on his feet. Daniels turns around as Orton goes for the RKO again but Daniels counters with a koji clutch taking Orton down, the crowd are going mental as Daniels has it locked in tight, members of The Revolution come running down to ringside, and try to get in the ring but the referee stops them when out of nowhere someone attacks Daniels causing him to break the submission. It’s Tyler Black even though he took a beating by Aries twenty minutes ago it was not enough to stop him, Daniels stumbles to his feet and turns around and gets superkicked in the face by Black, members of the ROH roster come flying down the entrance way but Black just bolts along with other members of The Revolution and leave through the crowd. Orton slowly rises up and sees that Daniels is down and out but this isn’t enough as he slowly takes the lifeless body of Daniels to his feet and starts shouting and spits in his face then taking him down with an RKO with authority. Orton slowly crawls over and covers Daniels for 1…2…3! The crowd just explode in a chorus of boos, everyone hates the fact that Orton retained, Styles and Striker and trying to stop themselves from just excessively swearing on commentary again but they do acknowledge the fight that Orton brought to the table. Daniels is being helped out of the ring as Orton is handed his World Heavyweight Championship. Orton slowly climbs the turnbuckle and raises the belt high to a huge boo from the crowd. Orton doesn’t care as he looks at the belt and smiles. Orton gets off the turnbuckle and turns around and is superkicked by Tyler Black who just stands there and looks down at Orton picking up the World Championship and raising it high to MASSIVE jeers from the crowd as the cameras fade to black.

Okay James.....FUCKING WOW but I'll break this down.
- Tatsu vs. Big Show as commical, I mean, hell how is Tatsu supposed to win against a Giant? You can't. Though thanks to Shaemus he was able to get the win. You would think this would be a 'squash' match but it was just the opposite, Tatsu is now a major player and I enjoyed this match and Tatsu is new FIP Champion.
- Hawkins and Ryder now belong as a tag team and ARE now a credible tag team, granted they were beaten down by Beer Money they still put up a good fight. You're almost using them to be underdogs and I like that, I'm actually starting to LIKE Hawkins and Ryder now, Beer Money goes over and I can't agree more.
- WGTT against KOW was one long fucking match to read. It was getting to the point that the only move left for them to do was jump off a building. Kings of Wrestling dominated this match, I mean they dominated it yet they couldn't get the win, hell, it went to a draw. I didn't think you'd ACTUALLY have the balls to pull off a draw. Still a good match, probably the better tag match of the night, sad it ended in a draw.
- Shaemus against Tanahashi, well this would be the first squash of the night as Big Show beats the holy jesus out of Shaemus, Shining Wizard, 1-2-3 match over. Did Shaemus really think Show wasn't going to get back at him? Bad loss for Revolution, things aren't looking good for them already.
- Benoit and McGuinness took their World's Collide match and turned that into a protein shake. These two completely destroyed each other and nothing seemed to be working, every signature move they had was broken, Benoit FINALLY scores a crossface and locks it in for over 9000 hours and finally Nigel taps out. Yay for NWA's Benoit and Yay for retaining.
- Low Ki against Triple H = holy shit! It seems Triple H found his wrestling game and really applied it to Low Ki. This was SO similar to HBK/HHH minus all the blood. Time and time again Low Ki had this match but Triple H was Triple H of 2000, unbeatable, then, he does the Pedigree from the top fucking rope. OUCH! Triple H is back and Low Ki is dead. Hell of a match -- Match of the night for me, Thumbs Way Up.
- London/Kendrick against Aries and Black - Whoa....whoa....so wait....Aries is the heel in this? I.....I.....I did NOT see this coming! Where the HELL did that come from? Aries beat the shit out of Black and tosses him into the ring and L/K are new tag teams champions. That....is actually a real shame since I figure a team would cleanly beat them, kind of a downer but the REAL story is that it was Aries that...turned on Black...even though Black..kind of sort of turned on him first. That was excellent stuff and even I didn't see that coming!
- Orton against Daniels --- The Rematch - A C4 from the Top Fucking Rope? That's just a start, then it gets good. These two literally have a rematch and it was just as good as the Original, sadly the RKO doesn't score the knock out blow in this one. This had a very good flow and I almost though Daniels would pull it off -- even with a Triple H victory I figure it might be a changing of the guard, but no, Tyler Black....you know the guy that got the shit beat out of him, clocks Daniels with a Super Kick. WTF? Orton Retains then gets a super kick in the face himself. So wait....is Aries the heel or is Black the heel. Or is Black just being Black? Wow so many questions though I kind of wish Orton would have won clean, but that's how it goes sometimes with a questioned ending.
Overall again ROH puts out a great PPV, though my biggest areas were Why Black Why and Why Aries Why. It's almost as if you're putting the focus on them on accident and Orton is luck to have a title, then again, still it was a stellar show, can't wait to see was Feb brings to the table.

ROH DBD thoughts
FIP title: Show VS Tatsu
A good big VS little man bought. Man was show kicking the shit out of him at the start, barricades and all. Sheamus screwing Show was out of nowhere but it worked to set up a feud that will be most interesting. And Yoshi gets the cheap win and the title! Wow you are going to have to work to make sure Yoshi doesn’t look like a fluke Champion.
Tag Team Tournament Match Round 1 Match 1
Having the countdown on screen was interesting and made me think we would get a count out finish. A great tag team match, long, hard fought and both teams got in enough offense to come out looking strong. Lots of great double team maneuvers also which was great. As the Eurovision song contest would say Beer Money: ONE POINT!
Triple H VS Low Ki
Wow Low Ki really held his own against the King of Kings. He put on a great technical classic counting H’s power moves with a multitude of hurricanrana and kicks. But in the end I and DM were wrong and Triple H got the win staying in Revolution. Interesting indeed going fourth and great effort by both men. Match of the night so far.
Tag Team Tournament Match Round 1 Match 2
Ok….match of the night! This was a superb tag team bought. From the chains, to the moves, to the sequences all round this was a great all baby face tag team match. Enjoyed that they shuck hands at the start also. The end may have ruined it for some but the draw point system is there for a reason and it added to the drama.
Sheamus VS Tanahasi
Ok Big Show is PISSED and starts this one in chaos trying to get to Sheamus and I really loved that part of it. Really upped the fire between the two. This allows Shemus to get screwed and….HES OUT OF REVOLUTION. WOW! Out of the two I predicted Hunter. Interesting indeed but that does up the stakes for Sheamus. Shit! Big Show and Sheamus hate each other in the course of one night!
Pure Championship
You are making match of the night difficult aren’t you? This was a ground based submission classic that got hot and really felt like a real sports contest. And Benoit keeps the belt! Wow! This may come to a head at Supercard.
Tag Team Championship
Holy shit! The Black and Aries reign is over in short fashion! After all that it was a hell of a short one…wow. And Aries gets cheered for screwing his partner? Only in ROH! The backwards world hehe. But man what a beat down…Tyler won’t soon forget that.
Main Event for the ROH Title
Loved the old school hall way pre entrances. Really added to the big fight feel. Hell of a match too. Daniels gives all he has but its not enough for the Viper. It took a lot but Orton retains again...well with Blacks help. WTF? Isn't he feuding with Aries...ok lets see. Man!
A great wrestling show as normal James highlighted as usual by technical wrestling and tag team action.
