I said i would start this thread to hear peoples thoughts on the night of champions ppv! Overall i thought it was a pretty good ppv and for the most part the right people went over. I was seriously pissed off with the tag team match though for the one reason.....like you said karl....it really isnt hart dynasties week.

Hello everyone DM here from The Blacklist here to give my unofficial review of Night of Champions 2010.
First match was Kofi vs. Ziggler for the I.C. Title. Now I think I would have cared for this match more if we hadn't seen it five times on Smackdown and at a PPV already. Ziggler wins cleanly, now Kofi can go do something else for a change.
Second match was Punk vs. Show whom mind you, Punk was getting a huge ovation. Punk was the aggressor in this match and was able to keep Show down for about half of the match, a spear, a knock out punch, Show wins, not bad but still.
U.S. Title Match between Miz and Daniel Bryan. Well this was by far the best 'wrestling' match on the card to say the least and I loved it from beginning to end. Miz loses the title and Michael Cole can suck on his own dick for a change, Bryan is the new champion...now that's Awesome.
Women/Diva title unification. Well let me say...this was actually a pretty good match between both Melina and McCool (Still don't think she should be #1) and McCool gets the win with interference, but in hindsight..if the 'divas' title went over the 'women's ' title, I think that would leave a bad taste in our mouths.
Undertaker and Kane, probably my favorite match of the evening. Both these monsters just had a pure fight with Kane going over countering the Tombstone into a Tombstone, thus making Kane I think the fifth person to 'cleanly' defeat Undertaker.
Tag Team Turmoil...well...needless to say this was an okay Tag Team Turmoil bout with Drew and Rhodes winning the tag titles.
Main Event of the evening, Six Pack Challenge - Not a bad Main Event but not a great one either, personally I think Taker/Kane should have closed the show since that was the bigger story, but sending the fans home happy I guess is the best thing to do these days since their precious egos would be crushed if they didn't go home happy. Jericho is out in 2 minutes time, quite a shock there, Next is Edge then I shit you not, Cena being destroyed by Wade Barret whom was a punching bag through this whole match, defeating Superman with the Wheelbarrow Slam. RKO, RKO, RKO, Orton wins....yay...I guess. So much for title pushes in this company. Overall again, NOT a bad main event however Orton was SUPER over for two weeks straight and wins, I guess this is a push for Orton but as myself and Karl talked about on BTM earlier in the week..we're waiting for a Backlash.
Overall, 3 1/2 Stars out of 5
