I haven't seen it yet but Ive heard mixed accounts on both sides. Apprantly Sabu didn't botch anything and it had a good ECW atmosphere so who knows.

i really enjoyed the ppv, raven-dreamer was very good and fuckin brutal man as was rvd-sabu, dudleys vs axl and balls was very boring though and was the only match that was shitty imo. 2 cold scorpio vs cw was surprisingly awesome, loved scorpios idk what 2 call it reverse 450 at the end. overall 7.5/10 for me very good.
also does any one know why justin credible, balls, tony mamaluke, and others couldt use the names, does wwe own those? thats the 1 thing that really pissed me off, kahoneyz for balls, pj polako for credible wtf

Again as I said they really need to let ECW die and rest in it's place, tonight, for my money, shown that the magic is gone. I believe the reason for the name changes was due to the fact WWE owns some of those names but not all.
I think what really took it out for me was the fact they did have a blue ring....but also..blue lights?

I have watched about half so far. Heading into Dreamer Vs Raven now.
And you know what? As soon as the show started and I realized that not only have ECW fans turned up but also the "smart" TNA fans that the Hogan era have turned away, it made all the difference. ECW was as much a bout the crowd as the wrestlers and that brought the ECW feel I didn't think they could have in the impact zone. Major props for the blue ring and black apron, looked more ECW than WWE's ECW I have to say. The blue lights worked in making the Impact look different which again needed to happen. Shame they can't do that for every TNA PPV huh?
As for the in ring stuff I think it actually was better in ring than the first One Night Stand. It didn't have quite the feel or special nature obviously as that but the in ring work shocked me on how good it was. Not to mention they seem to have saved all the blood and guts for the main events which is smart booking I think hardcore leagues should take note of.
Overall as soon as the show start my skeptical side melted away and the fan, the old ECW fan, came out. I am really enjoying myself for the first time in a while watching a wrestling show.
Check back when I have seen the rest.

Dreamer and Raven was a well told old Style ECW brawl. Was it to the level of their matches in 1997? No but it was still good.
Sabu VS RVD was fantastic. I don't know whether its the lack of hair or the fact he doesn't work as much but Sabu brought his A game and no matter how much we can call him the botchmaster when he doesn't he is one hell of a good innovative wrestler. Last night he proved it.
And RVD proved me right that he is still the RVD of old. I just wish we could see THAT RVD on Thursdays. I'm still an RVD mark, I don't care who doesn't like it. I just hope he can be that RVD in TNA, thats the RVD TNA needs.
Overall not the best "wrestling" show but a fun nostalgia trip for ECW fans. I may not have lived in it back then but I sure am a new wave ECW fan through research and I enjoyed it.
Well done ECW you proved me wrong. Now TNA just needs to get their act together and mabye, just mabye they can survive without having to use you as a crutch.

Really...is "fuck you" really neccessary? Of all the constructive things you could say to add to your conviction, that's what you're going to say to the haters that have a legitamate reason for not enjoying it? If I were you I would NOT listen to BTM 128 this week for fear that one person's opinion may be a counter arguement to that precious ECW that everyone seems to cling to and are willing to praise one company and bash the other when they did nearly the same thing.

He isn't really a fan of ECW or its style man, of course he wouldn't like it. Everything is down to personal taste and we just had fun and he didn't. Thats life.
Anywho I have posted up a review on the BTM Feed.
