According to prowrestling.net, there are plans to tape a special edition of TNA Impact the night after the Hardcore Justice PPV.
Essentially, the idea is that it will be a "free PPV" event. The working title is "The Whole Fn' Show" and all the matches will be PPV-quality with no storylines/skits.
makes sense, this is where we will probly c abyss get his title shot and maybe angle vs #5 or #6
this is good, they didnt take a ppv away from the tna guys, but they just moved it to and impact, hopefully its 3 hrs though

Yeah thats great but heres the problem Alex:
They won't make any money from that! If they just booked there shows well and built up proberly to a PPV with TNA guys they would make money. Its that simple. The ECW "Invasion" existed for one week then they dropped it with no explaination and now they are doing an ECW one Night Stand again. These people are idiots.
When someone incharge realizes we would rather watch AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, MCMG, Beer Money along with YOUNG brought in stars liked Anderson and Jeff then they will start succedding and frankly this company needs its Bishoff and soon or its lights out.

i agree but i dont think they're doin it for money, but for some exposure, there wont be any segments promos ect, just matches, say what you want bout tna's storylines and bookings, but they have have the best in ring product today. i predict a very high rating for this impact and i encourage every1 here to watch.
confirmed so far is:
-TNA world heavyweight title match rvd(c) vs abyss in an extreme anything goes match with abyss' nailboard hung above the ring(similar to ecw"s stairway to hell match but wit the nailboard insted of barbwire)
kurt angle vs #6 aj styles, this will be great(jan 4th any1)
jeff hardy"s open challenge(hopefully samoa joe gives that junkie an ass whoopin)

Not so sure about Abyss VS RVD. Styles and Angles will be superb but predictable and a shame they are feeding the guy that was THE MAN in TNA when Hogan arrived to Angle this low on the card and angle.

You can have the best wrestling organization in the world and put on the best matches in the world....BUT....if you can't pay for your stars...how the hell are you going to showcase them?
TNA doesn't NEED to have PPV Style shows because if you think about it, if watching the week to week shows are more important than the actual PPV, what's the point?
TNA needs to be in it for the money in some aspect but what really pisses me off is that they'll put on a great show for free and a shit show for money...not saying it should be reversed, but still.
Another big problem with TNA that I have had in recent months is look who's on top. Horrible. Granted Hardy/Anderson/RVD are top stellar guys but they're not TNA loyale or faithful. Now, they want to push ECW (even though Tommy Dreamer said he had no problem with WWE's version of ECW since YOUNG stars were pushed) and it'll be an old mans show, somewhat, going back on what he said. As good as RVD/Lynn could be on Pay Per View it's not a TNA event it's an ECW event.
Another issue I have with this whole TNA problem is they love doing something big on a show and nothing on a PPV. Honestly, RVD winning the world title on Impact (against someone whom he not only squashed but also had been pushed for a year) just doesn't make sense. They need to step up their PPV viewership and get a firm grasp on what they want to do.
The free shows, sure, you can do a lot for story building, but the PPV is where the money comes in and eventually, when stars aren't getting paid the money they need (similar to ECW) they'll leave and find work elsewhere.
Anyone see a pattern here?
