this was the best ending to a raw in a long long time. the nxt season 1 rookies all just beat the shit outa cena ;D, wade barret did say the winds of change are coming, well this is what he was talkin about. this was different, edgey, and definitley made up for the pretty boring 2 and a half hrs b4 this. i also loved bryan danielson yelling at cena"YOU ARE NOT BETTER THAN ME!!" and just spit right in his face ;D ;D you rock danielson fuck cena. they seem to be nWo 2010 here and just plan on takin over the wwe and are tired of being held back and made to do stupid challeges on nxt. haha no1 loves cena. i also liked that they didnt just attack cena but also punk, who's a heel, seems they're just beating any1 and every1, including matt striker, jerry lawler, justin roberts, and the ring bell guy lol. now what does this lead to? i think there are a lot of possibilities with this angle. 1. i find it weird that michael cole was the only person at ringside who didnt get attacked, is he behind all this? 2. they're the ones who took out undertaker. think about it, they want to make an impact by taking out the biggest stars and it would take 8 guys to put taker in a vegatative state, right? 3. last week when vince said "good luck, you're gonna need it" was he referring to this. can bret handle this?does he still wanna be gm? idk, but i know that this was awesome and i cant wait for nxt 2morrow to c if anything happens there, if any thing happens on sd, or if we gotta wait til raw next week .

Well everyone knows my opinions on WWE for keeping young talent down, I think WWE have realised with Taker, HBK, Batista, HHH etc, all the big guys leaving or healing up they need to make some stars quick, we have said time and time again that you cannot depend on the same guys to carry a company forever.
What they done on Raw felt a little cheap to be honest taking 8 guys to take down Cena, but they executed it in a way that made you forget about how it came around, Having Barrett be the leader as such for winning NXT makes sense, he has the option of facing for a title and i would not be surprised if Barrett has a snap at the WWE Championship.
Overall a very well planned segment and something that WWE should keep striving to do in the future.

I had perhaps the same thoughts that they were the one that took Undertaker 'out' of action, but again that sets up for the Ultimate Phenom to return and after thinking about it, as much as I would love to see that, they have done other ways of Taker coming back. Plus lets think carefully, Barrett got the contract, the other six (Yeah I know what I said) didn't kayfabe wise so something is brewing.
My big question is, where the hell were the rest of the stars in the back? I mean, isn't it kind of odd that with both rosters backstage no one helped out Cena....I mean.....none of them? You figure the latest rub to Evan Bourne would have spiked something out of them but again, no responce, that's my big question.
Some theorize that this could spill into Fatal Four Way I think it'll spill a little longer than that, however now, it's really forcing you to side with WWE rather the rookies whom are throwing a 'hissy fit' over not winning or being told they're not as good as the others.
Now no one likes to be told "hey I'm better than you" but lets face it, take all the veterans in WWE and they outclass the rookies by far, end of discussion on that one. This is a new/worked angle they are trying to pull off where they are literally taking the marks/smarks and throwing them into the equation which is a smart idea.
What do I see on the horizon of all this, the NXT (Smarks) get their asses kicked by those whom have been in the business (WWE) and silences that once and foreall. That is my hindsight into this 'fued' going on.

i just hope that they build barrett up b4 just throwin him into main events, maybe has a title shot at summerslam, i dont want another sheamus where some guy barely in the company for a few months wins the title after doing absolutly nothing, they should build him up as a brock lesnar and have him reck through people then gettin his shot. onto why no1 helped cena, i liked seein him get an ass whippin lol, but seriously, i think if there were run-ins, it would have hurt that segment, you have cena the top guy getting the worst ass whippin in his carrer, then guys like rey and kofi runnin in would have just made it a clusterfuck. though punk did try to get back in the ring, i think it was only 4 retribution for himself and the ses and definitly not for cena.

I only just saw this a....yeah Alex my reaction exactly. I know its kinda derivative of the NWO but hell I don't care thats when the NWO were good and these are young stars that need to be made by this and not old selfish pricks with sidekicks.
Its funny, I turned off Raw half way through on Tuesday cause it was terrible, cheap, boring and just plain garbage and then I find out the best skit in years happens. Shit. Well now I have seen it so yay for me. But it makes my think WWE deliberately made Raw suck so this seemed more "real."
And this leads back to my debate we were having where I said I like anything so long as I can suspend my disbelief and I haven't been able to do that in wrestling in a very long time. This to me is a continuation of the Bryan Danielson storyline, boy did he come off good Monday, and I am loving it. Realism is something WWE has lacked for a long time and this was the perfect time to do it again. For the kids its something new that they think is real, hell people thought Takers thing was real, and for us its like "finally!" and noticing WWE's genuine effort to not only push young talent but own up to their flaws in the past at not doing do.
Also with the state of the names for the S2 rookies and the fact they have Laycool as pros it makes me think if this is some sort of work to make us hate WWE so much for ruining young talent that we get behind stuff like this. It certainly matches what they did with Danielson.
Is this a quick fix? No. But if this in any way leads to these lot staying as an NWO like faction making guys like Barret and Danielson a star, which is already happening, then this is the best thing to happen to the WWE in almost a decade.
And if they fuck it up it gives us something more to hate them for huh?
PS: I know this is going to come of as big headed but if DM's prediction ends up true and Danielson did help up to take out Undertaker because he joined with a heel group and claimed to be striking against "sports entertainment" I will be....happy they stole a good idea!
