Sheamus Vs Taz AND Triple H W/Batista Vs Rhyno The night after Take No Prisoners there was a buzz in the arena as people were discussing the events that took place and regarding the main event as Taz was ultimately screwed in the match. The buzz continues as the shows begins and the music of Triple H begins and the crowd are heard booing for Hunter who walks down the aisle way with the sledgehammer in hand getting into the ring and standing there as boos reign from the crowd as Hunter takes a microphone and stands there again waiting for the crowd to quiet down “Big night last night, the arrival of one Triple H to this promotion where I beat your giant himself Matt Morgan. Then I shocked the world by coming out in the main event and potentially giving you a taste of things to come in Ring of Honor, all I will say to the boys in the back is if your not with us, your against us and I will personally take each and every one of you out until I claim what is rightfully mine” Hunter has a serious look on his face holding up the sledgehammer as the crowd continue to boo Hunter who just smiles and leaves the ring when all of a sudden (Play Taz) Taz comes out with no towel over his head he just walks out and looks straight into the eyes of Triple H, Taz has got the look of wanting to kill Hunter for what he did as Taz quickly runs to the ring and starts beating down on Hunter and the crowd are loving it as Taz goes to lock in the tazzmision but out of nowhere Sheamus comes in to attack Taz taking him out with the bicycle kick as Sheamus starts to attack Taz taking him down with another pump kick as the crowd are heard booing Sheamus as he helps up Hunter who stands there and smiles at him as Sheamus then pushes Hunter into the ropes and takes him down with the pump kick as Sheamus then picks up the microphone “I want better competition, Taz you the human suplex machine well why not try and suplex me and see what will happen when you do” Sheamus stands there soaking up the reaction from the crowd when all of a sudden Rhyno comes running down the aisle way into the ring as Sheamus goes the pump kick but Rhyno ducks turning around and running at Sheamus taking him down with the gore as the crowd are electric for Rhyno as Rhyno then looks at Hunter who is getting back to his feet and kicks him in the gut taking him down with the rhynodriver as Rhyno gets to his feet and begins to smile pointing at Hunter who is groggy getting to his feet turning around and is taken down with a gore from Rhyno as the crowd are heard cheering for Rhyno as he helps Taz to his feet and raises his arm in the air but both men are taken out from behind by Batista who throws Taz through the second rope and takes Rhyno down with the Batista Bomb as the boos are deafening but Batista is seen helping Hunter back to his feet and taking him to the back as the matches are confirmed for Driven 2010
Ring Of Honor Pure Championship Nigel McGuinness (C) Vs Jerry Lynn
After the impressive win against Claudio Castagnoli at Take No Prisoners, we see McGuinness scouring the roster looking for his next opponent as he comes across Jerry Lynn, these two men have some unfinished business and both men know this and now it being this time where anything can happen McGuinness wants to finish this business and finish it now so even though Lynn is souring on the company Nigel is letting him face him at Driven for the Pure Championship, to not only bring prestige back to the belt to also to show the world he is a fighting champion. The match was confirmed on the ROH website that at Driven Nigel McGuinness will be putting up his Pure Championship against Jerry Lynn!
FIP World Heavyweight Championship Falls Count Anywhere Matt Hardy (C) Vs Lance Storm
Coming off an impressive three way match win against Petey Williams and Jack Swagger, we saw a different side to Hardy, one of no remorse and just willing to beat anyone he sees into the ground should they ever step on him a little. This wasn’t a one time deal since that PPV Hardy has this different aura around him, this psychotic mood he is in is scaring people as he is just attacking people so violently that matches keep having to be thrown out for the safety of the wrestlers but yet the crowd are still cheering for Hardy. Later in the HDNet show Hardy is seen in the ring with a microphone in hand walking around holding his championship belt and is seen pacing the ring back and forth with the crowd chanting for Hardy “If you know the pain I go through, you wouldn’t chant for me, if I attacked you as violently as I have been recently to the roster you wouldn’t cheer me, when I saw Swagger at the PPV I began to walk a path and I haven’t looked back, you think you have seen the real Matt Hardy, we are only getting started. Whoever is my opponent at Driven listen closely and listen good, as long as I am still breathing and moving you will NEVER take me down, I will haunt you and hurt you until I am pronounced the winner of the match, I am Matt Hardy and I Will…Not…DIE!” Hardy is seen leaving the ring when all of a sudden Lance Storm’s music hits and he comes out but Hardy wastes no time in attacking Storm just pummelling the crap out of him finishing him off with the exclamation point of the twist of fate on the ramp as Hardy stands there shaking his head uncontrollably holding the championship close to him as Hardy then kneels down almost like a ritual state and looks up in the air as he raises the championship up high. Hardy slowly gets to his feet and walks backstage as Storm is seen groggy getting help from wrestlers and EMT’s The next week Hardy is seen in the ring again but this time with a referee asking for an opponent when a local competitor comes into the ring and Matt Hardy is seen destroying this guy just throwing him into the ring post and just violently attacking him all over the place and even when the ref calls for the bell Hardy doesn’t end the attack instead he places the wrestler in a submission move that is feared amongst all men, the Damascus Head-Leglock. Hardy applies this to the wrestler who is seen tapping out but Hardy keeps hold of it just wrenching away trying to send a message to everyone in the back as Lance Storm is seen running down to the ring but Hardy breaks the hold and rolls out of the ring and too the back as Storm is seen in the ring but then decides to chase after Hardy up the ramp and backstage as Hardy is running away and gets into a car speeding away from the arena as Storm stands there angry and begins to throw stuff around in a fit of rage. The following week Storm is seen in the car park getting ready for Matt Hardy who hasn’t shown up but Hardy is seen running behind Storm and attacks him with a lead pipe and not giving up just attacks Storm over the head and shoulders with the pipe and then begins to smile going to lock in the Damascus Head-Leglock but Storm pushes Hardy off him and takes Hardy down onto the hood of the car as these tow men are seen brawling in the car park but it gets into the backstage area and into the locker room, James has told the security guards to let these two fight all over the place as either man does not want to give it up as then go through the curtain and down the aisle way as Hardy throws Storm into the ring and looks underneath the ring pulling out a steel chair sliding in and going to hit Storm over the head but Storm counters punching the chair into the head of Hardy who stumbles back and the forward as Storm then superkicks the chair into Hardy knocking him down onto the mat as Storm stands there tall holding the steel chair up high with his foot on the chest of Hardy. The final week before the PPV, Lance Storm is seen backstage getting ready for his match with Jerry Lynn when out of nowhere Hardy again is seen attacking Storm just throwing him through doors and attacking him with all that he has got as Hardy leaves Storm in a pool of his own blood as the match comes around the ref has to declare Jerry Lynn the winner by forfeit and as Lynn is questioning what happened in the ring we see Hardy going back to the locker room where he attacked Storm and he gets on his knees and touches the blood and again Hardy looks to the sky and holds the championship up high as the crowd are wondering what is going on but the EMT’s did say that Storm will be medically cleared to wrestle for Driven on Sunday so the match was made by order of James, Matt Hardy will defend the Full Impact Pro World Heavyweight Championship against Lance Storm in a Falls Count Anywhere Match.
Number One Contendership for the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championships Mark and Jay Briscoe (The Briscoe’s) Vs Beer Money And Ring Of Honor World Tag Team Championships Austin Aries and Tyler Black (C) Vs The Dudley Boys
After an impressive win over The American Wolves at Take No Prisoners we see Aries and Black in high spirits backstage as they run into the Dudley’s who are still wanting to avenge the loss back at the 1st Year Anniversary. The Dudley’s since that match have been trying there hardest to gain recognition telling everyone they have been tag team champions wherever they go except in one promotion and that is ROH, they are on a quest to become tag team champions and they are trying anyway they can, by cheating in matches to sweet talking the tag team champions The Dudley’s are trying but Aries and Black take no notice of those two saying that they have had there time in the spotlight and should let go and allow other teams to rise above and become what they are. The end of the show sees Aries and Black in tag action against Jay Briscoe and James Storm, as both teams are continuing there feud to become the number one contenders as it was announced earlier in the night that The Briscoe’s would fight Beer Money at Driven with the winners going on to face Aries and Black at Undeniable in July. After a back and forth match Aries and Black look set to pick up the win when The Dudley’s rush the ring and start to beat down both teams taking them down with steel chair shots to the head as Bubba sends D-Von outside to get a table as they set it up on the middle of the ring and takes Austin Aries and drive him through the table with the 3-D making a statement about how they should be treated as the cameras fade to black The following week on HDNet we see Aries has his ribs taped from the 3-D through the table but Aries being the fighting champion that he is doesn’t let that keep him down as he is seen back in the ring facing off against Dave Taylor in a hard fought match but again he Dudley’s interfere but Tyler Black runs down the aisle way to make the save as The Dudley’s leave the ring and walk back up the ramp smiling at the message they have sent again as Black is seen tending to Aries as The Dudley’s look on. The following week Aries is seen in the locker room irate that he has been attacked twice in two weeks with Black trying to calm him down but they hatch a plan that involves both Beer Money and The Briscoe’s, later in the evening The Dudley’s are in action against Triple H and Batista as Aries is seen running down to the ring but stops as Bubba takes notice as Batista goes for the roll up for 1…2…NO! Bubba kicks out. We see Tyler Black jumping over the barricade to ringside as D-Von looks on as we then see Beer Money and The Briscoe’s enter the ringside area as The Dudley’s are surrounded as everyone slowly makes there way into the ring and stand there as both Dudley’s are begging not to be attacked but that doesn’t happen as both Bubba and D-Von are viscously beat down by the six men as they all stand tall over The Dudley’s when all of a sudden the alliance ends and The Briscoe’s and Beer Money begin to fight precluding there match at Driven as Aries and Black look around the ring and then Aries grabs a microphone and kneels down to Bubba Dudley and slowly speaks into the microphone “Now you say if we can beat you then your nothing, these tag titles mean otherwise so at Driven we will give you a shot at these belts, and if you can’t beat us….then your NOTHING!” Aries drops the microphone and holds the tag belt up high as Black looks on with anguish and gets ready for one of there biggest matches to date as a team as it was confirmed that these two teams would collide at Driven for the World Tag Team Championships, with the winning team facing the winner of the number one contender’s match at Undeniable in July.
Ring Of Honor World Heavyweight Championship Randy Orton (C) Vs Doug Williams
From the controversial events at Take No Prisoners 2010 where Batista cost Taz the World Heavyweight Championship and the end of the PPV with HHH at the entrance way people backstage and in the crowd are beginning to feel as if this was not a random chance and actually a methodical attack to show the world the dominance of Randy Orton. Since the PPV Orton’s neck has healed to 100% and is back to being able to work a heavier schedule when he walks past Doug Williams who looks him in the eye and then walks off as Orton stands there firm and ready for the next challenge as later in the night Orton is having a match with Tyler Black and after a hard fought 25 minute match Orton gets the victory with the RKO and goes to celebrate but he sees Batista and Triple H in the crowd looking directly at Randy Orton who stands in the ring and motions for the two of them to join him in the ring but they refuse as Orton stands there defiant as ever raising the belt up as the cameras fade to black The following week Orton is seen to be interviewed by Jeremy Borash when the cameras turn around and again Batista and Triple H stand there looking at Orton who slowly gets to his feet and takes his championship with him as he walks over to both Hunter and Batista and just raises the belt high as Hunter and Batista begin to beat down Orton throwing him around when Doug Williams joins the actions and attacks Hunter and Batista making it two on two as these men continue fighting going through the curtain and fighting down towards the ring as Williams is fighting with Triple H and Batista is fighting with Orton as Triple H is in the ring and he takes down Williams with a spinebuster but as he turns around he is taken down by Rhyno with a gore building up to there match at Driven as Batista and Orton are seen slugging it out with each other as Orton gets the upper hand and cracks Batista over the skull with the world championship knocking him down and out as Orton slowly rolls into the ring and looks at Doug Williams extended the hand in thankfulness as Williams goes to shake the hand Orton drops him down with the RKO as the crowd are in mixed reaction as Orton raises the World Championship up high as the cameras fade to black with Orton standing tall. The following week the talk is with Orton and Williams as they seem to be helping each other out then turning on each other with repeated attacks but Williams decides to set things straight by walking out to the ring with a contract in hand already signed by James and Williams all that is needed is another signature and that is from Orton so Williams asks Orton to come to the ring but Orton is seen sneaking into the ring from behind as Williams turns around Orton goes for the RKO but Williams pushes Orton off him and pushes him into the corner going for the Chaos Theory but Orton lands on his feet as both men stand tall looking at each other as Triple H and Batista run down the aisle way and into the ring and start attacking both men as again another brawl begins as members of the roster come out and break up the brawl holding all four men back as the contract and the Ring Of Honor World Heavyweight Championship is on the floor in the middle as Orton goes to pick up the championship but then picks up the contract and walks over to Williams and rips it up in his face as Williams is seen trying to escape the clutches of the roster and does and begins to attack Orton as Hunter and Batista escape and the brawl begins again as the crowd are going wild chanting for both Orton and Williams as security officials, referees anyone who is able is running down to the ring trying to separate these four men as eventually they do and Batista and Hunter are leaving the ring as Williams and Orton stand in the ring looking at each other as the cameras fade to black. The next week on HDNet there is an ominous feel that something big is going down; to stop the chaos of the week prior all four men involved have security surrounding them so that nothing can happen as Doug Williams leaves the locker room ready to go to the ring for his match against Low-Ki. The match is a long fought twenty minute battle with Williams getting the win with the Chaos Theory as the match happened security surrounded the ring making sure no-one could attack Williams as Batista’s music hits and the security runs towards the entrance ramp as we see that Triple H had jumped over the barricade from the fans and slides into the ring behind Williams waiting for him to turn around and takes him down to the mat with the pedigree as the crowd are in mixed emotions, Triple H is taunting in the ring as the security officials run down to the ring to try and restrain Triple H but Triple H makes a hasty retreat through the crowd as they follow him Orton’s music hits as he slowly walks down to the ring with the championship in hand and slowly picks up Williams and smiles at him before dropping him down with the RKO as Orton quickly gets back to his feet and asks for a microphone and looks at Williams and utters the words “I Accept” Orton begins to laugh into the microphone as Triple H is seen in the crowd smiling at Orton who turns around and looks at H and begins to smile as the crowd are confused at what is going on but it looks as if the match has been made official and James later in the evening confirms it that at Driven Randy Orton will defend the Ring Of Honor World Heavyweight Championship against Doug Williams.

Seeing that both Taz and Sheamus are in the ring I think we shall have the match between them right now!” (Play Ring Bell) Sheamus and Taz lock eyes with each other and they then lock up as neither man wants to give as they tussle for position as Sheamus looks to take down Taz but Taz pushes Sheamus off him as Sheamus runs at Taz but Taz ducks and takes Sheamus down with a capture suplex. Taz is goading Sheamus on telling him to get back up as Sheamus slowly rises to his feet as both men lock up with Taz getting the upper hand taking Sheamus down holding onto the chin but Sheamus is able to fight out of it sending Taz into the ropes but Taz comes back with a shoulder tackle knocking Sheamus down as Taz covers for 1…NO! Sheamus emphatically kicks out. Taz picks up Sheamus who pushes Taz back as Sheamus runs and hits Taz in the corner with a dropkick as Taz slumps down and Sheamus starts stomping away at him until the referee can get a break and pushes Sheamus back but Sheamus pushes the referee aside and picks up Taz and whips him hard into the other corner as Taz walks backwards Sheamus knocks him down from behind and covers Taz for 1…2…NO! Taz kicks out. Sheamus picks up Taz and lifts him onto his shoulders dropping him down with the death valley driver as Sheamus sits up and begins to smile as he gives Taz’s cut throat gesture to the crowd who begin to boo Sheamus as he waits for Taz to get to his feet and looks to go for the bicycle kick but Taz ducks and takes Sheamus by the waist and drops him down with a release german suplex as Taz gets to his feet and picks up Sheamus and throws him into the ropes picking up Sheamus and dropping him down with the gutbuster as Taz covers Sheamus for 1…2…NO! We go backstage as we see Jeremy Borash running to the locker room and grabs James asking for his thoughts on what just happened between Taz and Triple H and Batista “I did say they couldn’t involved themselves into the match JB, what they do after the match is there choice, we are all about impact here in Ring of Honor and the more people know about it, the more interesting this company will become” James’ phone starts ringing as he takes the call and walks away from JB who stands there perplexed as Matt Hardy quickly takes the microphone away from JB and looks straight into the camera “Lance Storm, you will find out tonight why they call me “The Man Who Will Not DIE!” When I lock in the Twist Of Hate you will find out that Matt Hardy is no laughing joke, welcome to your final chapter here in Ring of Honor” Hardy walks away from the camera and back into the locker room as JB stands there and then sends it back to ringside “Wow Matt, Some bold statements there from Matt Hardy, talking about his Falls Count Anywhere match later on tonight with Lance Storm, but also James almost not caring about the post match attack, but we cant keep thinking about that as we need to send it back to Bobby Cruise for the next match of the evening. (Ring Bell and Entrances) “Ladies and Gentlemen the following contest will take place under Pure Wrestling Rules, and is for the Ring of Honor Pure Championship, introducing first the challenger coming to us from Minneapolis, Minnesota, weighing in at 212lbs he is the “New F’n Show” Jerry Lynn…And Introducing his opponent, from London United Kingdom, weighing in at 200lbs he is the current reigning and defending Ring of Honor Pure Champion Nigel McGuinness” McGuinness hands the championship to the referee who holds it high showing what the match is for as the bell sounds and the match gets underway. McGuinness and Lynn lock eyes with each other as Lynn extends the hand out and McGuinness slowly accepts shaking hands with Lynn but McGuinness then drops Lynn down with a quick headlock takedown holding onto the head of Lynn who counters rolling over on McGuinness for a quick pin with forearm to the jaw for 1…2…NO! McGuinness kicks out. Both men slowly rise to there feet as McGuinness runs at Lynn who drops McGuinness down going for the crossface but McGuinness counters with a side roll up pin for 1…2…NO! Lynn kicks out. Lynn gets back to his feet as McGuinness from behind throws Lynn through the second rope to the outside as McGuinness climbs out the ring and picks up Lynn slamming him headfirst into the barricade and then into the announce table. Lynn staggers around the outside as McGuinness throws Lynn back into the ring and gets onto the ring apron and picks up Lynn looking to suplex him from the ring into the crowd but Lynn shifts his weight as both men are on the ring apron as McGuinness runs at Lynn but Lynn ducks and takes the head of McGuinness and drops him down with the neckbreaker on the ring apron as McGuinness falls down on the outside as Lynn sits on the ring apron trying to get his head straight as he rolls McGuinness into the ring and covers him for 1…2…NO! McGuinness kicks out. Lynn picks up McGuinness and with forearms to the sternum and open handed chops gains momentum throwing McGuinness into the ropes going to take down McGuinness who ducks and locks in the sleeper hold on Lynn as McGuinness locks it in tight and Lynn tries to fight out of it but McGuinness gets Lynn down to his knees before putting his foot on the back of Lynn’s head and driving Lynn’s head down to the mat with the curb stomp as the crowd let out a “OH” as Lynn hits the mat.
