Hey everyone,
I have a question I would like everyone possible to answer either by email or on here.
Please tell me which you would prefer; For us to continue on Talkshoe having live broadcasts with a chatroom and low quality or we tape over skype and release top quality sounding podcasts over a new server?
Let me know as this has been on my mind for awhile considering how much TS takes away quality wise.

just to let you know you can record it on skype and still upload it onto the talkshoe site.
as far as what i think i'm not in the in the chat all the time and most of the time i download it so it would sound better for me,
i say: skype (if you can upload to talkshoe, if you can't but just say like it is)

You also have to remember the real trick the last time was everyone had to record and send their feeds over for you to, of course, edit and do your magic which could take a while, where as with TS, it's instaneous and no need for anyone to really do anything on their end, even if the quality again does go down. Plus peeps in the chatroom I think enjoy having the ability to enter and leave and chat when they feel the need, it's more interactive

I say stay on TS it's easier for people and for me personally the quality isn't that bad you sound pretty clear to me.

Myself personally, I'd prefer going back to Skype. It seemed more... organized that way, whereas if we're utilizing a chatroom and everything, we've gotta pay attention to that, and it kinda takes our focus off the main issue at hand, or whatever the topic may be.
Plus, Skype sounds a LOT better than Talkshoe does, and you don't have to listen to that annoying fucking robotic woman.

The other issue is lets face it, net problems. Some of us pop on and off (that includes the hosts big time) and it woudl be hard doing a conf. call and one of us pops off, thus, losing the recorded stuff prior and afterwards.

also to add to this topic there are skype recorders (thats how we do the one i'm on) so you don't have to use audacity, and if someone drops you won't loose there content (and as long as 2 people are on the call)

Well the only good one is something like Rapala or whatever it's called and thats $24....FUCK THAT!
I have no problem with either, its just what do the masses want and we will try and do that, i am working on some stuff to help the video section and if we can get a decent audio feed it can be more professional but we shall see.

Personally myself I prefer if ye had it on Talkshoe, The chats in the room used to be great. And the sound maybe not be the best but I can still here everyword you say. I will listen to the show either way but if it was upto me i would have it still on talkshoe

Hey! I think you should stay with talkshoe and have the chat room! To be honest i never thought the quality was bda at all and ye seemed to be having more problems on the skype with people dropping out.

The only problem with dropping out is James, and even then it was only when he used the old version to use vemotion. I will get us a live chatroom up again at some point so just hang on guys.
