Week 1
[Play out]
Flair, Tully and Arn made their way down to the ring, they all seemed to have smiles upon their faces and for good reason it seemed, having that usual swagger as they entered the ring. Flair obviously demanding a mic as he stood proudly in the center of the ring.
“For four years, I have come into arenas just like this and whether you cheered me or booed me, You all know that Ric Flair gave you your monies worth. Last year, the Four Horsemen defeated and destroyed the NOW, and our reward for it…nothing. Not a pat on the back, not a thank you, nothing as if we were just expected to do it. Now, one year ago almost to the date I make a stake at the NWA World Title and some punk stands in my face and tells me I haven’t earned it. I haven’t done anything to acquire it, so just like the man I am, I put him in his place and when he kept coming back for more, we put him down. I forced him to give up at Starrcade and he keeps coming back for more, Ole went down, we replaced him and now Punk wants one more shot at the Nature Boy. Pal, I don’t care what kind of match you give me, I’m going to destroy you from the inside out and make an example out of you. Now as far as the NWA is concerned, fine us, fire us, do whatever you want, we are the originators, we are the men in charge, this is our town, our show, our wrestling and it’s going back to the ways of old and if anyone has the guts to stand up against us, Arn, Tully, myself and maybe even Windam will give you a scar, a beating that you will never forget. We have bled, we sweat, we gave our bodies, our tears, everything and even now this company wants to show us the door when we’re the ones that saved it? There are now two ways to do things around here, our way or the company way, and I’m telling you all right now, our way is going to be a lot less painful. Anyone who dares try us is going to end up just like how Punk is going to end up in three weeks time-“
[Play Out]
Out came the man they call Sting. We saw him briefly last night take down Alberto Del Rio but now it seemed he was standing up against The Horsemen, three on one still not good odds but Sting got had a hold of Silent Justice to perhaps even the odds. Flair looked like he was ready for a fight right there with him.
[Play Out]
Seems there was one other person whom was going to stand up to the Horsemen Tonight and his name of Bret Hitman Hart, already having history with Flair as it was as he stood by Sting’s side.
[Play Out]
And there was one more person looking for a fight tonight and that was Ricky The Dragon Steamboat, all six men just staring at each other as Flair gave the signal and a melee would begin to ensue between all six of them. Neither side was going to back down here tonight that was for sure.
[Play Out Bish]
“Okay hold on right there, settle down all six of you. We are just getting out of Starrcade Season and the last thing I need is the commission breathing down my neck. So tonight we’re going to directly compete with our competition and that is book a Main Event for the ages. Tonight in a six man tag it’ll be Ric Flair, Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson vs. Bret Hart, Ricky Steamboat and Sting. All six of you, get to the back before I fine you all.”
The Horsemen were already starting to take it to the back, yelling out tonight they were going to make a statement, Flair wooing towards them as Sting stood there stoic and ready, Bret and Ricky though seeming ready for round two already with the Horsemen.
“Ladies and Gentlemen incase you’re just joining us, what a hell of a main event going on tonight, we have a fully stacked card for Monday Nitro tonight, the Tag Team titles will be defended and the cruiserweight title will be defended as well tonight, plus the major main event just announced and we will hear from our World Champion tonight as well and his thoughts on the hellacious Steel Asylum bout that he took part in just 24 hours ago.”
[Play out]
First match up tonight here would see Masahiro Chono defend his title against Chris Benoit and this was a hard hitting bout indeed with heavy slams, submissions and power offense from both men. Even though Chono had been recovering from a bad knee, which Benoit did focus on through the match, he was able to fight out of the pugnatious offense that was Benoit and dropped him down with a vicious german suplex for the victory. He would stagger up, getting a hold of his title belt with little effort.
“Congradulations there, Masahiro. No really that was a hell of an effort, especially after the battle you had last night. I’m sure after your victory over one Mr. Perfect you left the arena, hit the biggest and best bar and celebrated the night away didn’t you. For those of you that don’t know, Chono here is an avid partier and has one hell of a sense of humor. In fact just last night while I was at home at DiBiase Estates, I came across one of Chono’s old Music Videos he did post last night. In fact here, check this out.”
[Play Gangnum]
If there was a meter to measure the rage in Chono it would have exploded as he stormed out of the ring and ran like a bull towards DiBiase whom escaped through the curtain. Cameras followed Chono but DiBiase was no where to be seen, actually hitting him from behind with a piece of stage equipment, slamming his head into the snack table and dropped him with DreamStreet right upon the concrete. DiBiase would grin down at him and left him to lay, Nitro moving back to the ring.
[Play Out]
The new tag team of Hirojima was in the ring against The RE-Vengers and anyone worth their sault knew how this match was going to end but they gave them all the support that you could, given the circumstances. The RE-Vengers gave them everything they had and more but Hirojima was just too strong in more ways than one, Gotoh dropping Suicide with the GoToHeaven on the outside as Hurricane was dropped with the CCD right in the center of the ring for the victory. Not even a smile nor a celebration, they knew what they wanted and that was the World Tag Team Championships, Dynasty having watched them on a monitor almost taking notes of this newer, stronger tag team coming up on the horizon as Nitro went to a break.
[Play Out]
Hardy Dynasty coming in hot tonight as they defended against Harlem Heat and was this a hell of a match indeed. Heat having the power matched with techniqual skill against Dynasty's power offense and high flying ability, it was almost dead even as both sides drew a line in the sand. Heat almost scoring the win with the Harlem Heat Seeker but David broke it up, able to drop Stevie with the running powerslam, Kidd cleaning things up with a moonsault for the victory. A hard fought match that was as they successfully defended those belts the same way they won them, exiting the ring.
Cameras move to the back as the Four Horsemen had been walking down the hallway, discussing strategy on how to defeat their adversary's for tonight, pushing a few people out of the way wanting some bottled water though one of the patrons took the last one.
"Scuse me but who the hell do you think you are?"
"Me? I'm Frankie Kazarian, you have an issue with that?"
"Normally little boy I don't, but I think I'm going to make an example of you."
Flair then sucker punched him as Tully and Arn would jump on top of him, beating upon him gang style, powerbombing him through the table. Flair getting a hold of the bottled water and tossed it down the hallway, not wanting it anyway but it was the principle of the thing, leaving Kazarian to lay.
[Play Out Morrison]
He looked like hell, having a patch on his head and had limped his way into the ring but still NWA World Champion as he asked for a mic.
"Last night, the biggest pain in my ass was put down to rest and the Era of Del Rio came to an end. While I will admit I feel like I've been in a car wreck, just like I promised I am still your NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Now as my championship address I'm going to put it out there that I am going to defend this Championship against anyone, no matter the size creed or color, big small fat and ugly if you want a shot at this all you have to do is step through the ropes and ask for it-"
{Play Out Mercury]
Dressed in a long black hoodie with Melina at his side came Joey Mercury. Melina held the ropes open for him as he stepped inside, Melina moving almost like a servant and got Joey a mic, moving to the corner.
"Hello John, long time no see huh. First off, congradulations on retaining your World Championship. Honestly, I'm proud that one of us made it to the big time while the other faded away into the shadows of obscurity. But, you owe me the biggest debt of gratitude in the world, because if it wasn't for me, you wouldn't be in the spotlight absorbing the spoils of war. And you can deny it, but I remember almost as if it were yesterday. In fact it was 7 years ago where my career came to an abrupt end and I took a bullet for you. My face, was disfigured and destroyed and I'd figure my tag team partner would have at least sent me a phone call or sent a card but no, you got booked in the higher end matches, you got drafted to the NWA and allowed your career to shine on and I was nothing but an afterthought. You ever think Morrison what would have happened if that ladder struck you in the face? You ever think what being under the knife is like? The thousands of dollars of surgury? Looking into a mirror and realizing that half of your face is as fake as that World Title you hold around your shoulders? Morrison, I don't hate you, far from it, I'm bringing the Rock Concert to an end however, I'm opening the eyes to all these people that this false prophet, superman of parkor is nothing but a shame, a con artist who benefitted off of my sacrifice. Morrison," he would remove the hood to reveal a completely bald head, staring him dead in the eyes "I don't hate you, I'm not going to beat you up or drag your name in the mud, I want you to pick a match, any match, and you and I will have a fight. And no matter what these people think, believe or feel, that title, will belong to me. John, lets not make this any harder than it has to be, when you're tired of holding that title, give me a call and I'll take it from you. Melina."
She moved to the rope and held it open for him as Mercury left the ring, Melina right behind him almost like a lovesick puppy, grinning towards Morrison with an evil grin, as Morrison just stood there without words or anything to say as Nitro had to cut to a break.
[Play Out]
Taka Michonoku in action tonight against Sin Cara whom pointed at him, more so the title belt as he wanted it and the bell would sound. East meets west, Mexico vs. Japan, Luchador vs. Jr. Heavyweight and this match was everything you could want and more with Cara taking to he high flying game while Taka stuck to a hard hitting and even submission based game, putting Cara in literal knots throughout the bout. Taka caught him within a JustFaceLock nearly ripping his head off but Cara fought out, catching him with the FinalSin Suplex, moving to the top rope and came down with a moonsault, 1-2...No he was pulled to the floor by Billy Kidman and slammed into the barricade as the match was tossed out.
Kidman moved into the ring to pick the bones of Taka but Christopher Daniels hit him with a knee from behind. Daniels pulled Taka up but was hit from behind by Cara whom just exploded on him, pissed off the match was thrown out, Taka taking them both out with a double shoulder block. He rose to his feet pissed off as Jeff Hardy spilled into the ring and finished him off with a Twist of Hate. He would sneer down at him as Kidman got up in his face about it as did Daniels, it seemed we had some troubles here on whom the next number one contender was going to be as it turned into a brawl, refs having to move to the ring to seperate it, but things didn't get interesting until Taka entered the ring with a Kendostick, swinging at everyone and anyone. He was pissed off and said he was going to kick everyone's asses, Nitro cutting to a break.
"Ladies and Gentlemen I'm standing here with mr. Perfect whom has been deliberating for the last 24 hours over the decision last night, Mr. Perfect what have you found out?"
"Well after speaking with Eric Bishoff he has granted me a rematch this Saturday at All*Star Wrestling. After reviewing the tape he did agree the ref made the wrong call as my foot was inches from reaching the rope and has decided this match-"
"Move out of the way, you couldn't get the job done, you're standing in our spotlight, this interview now belongs to the Four Horsemen-"
"The hell it does, I don't care if your the lord jesus christ you don't ever tread on Mr. Perfect."
"Oh really?"
It was a three on one assault as the Horsemen now began beating the hell out of Mr. Perfect, ramming him into the locker and beat him down like a gang fight. Of course he was outnumbered as Arn and Tully dropped him with a double team DDT on the floor, Flair slapping over his face yelling into the camera.
"Sting, Hitman, Steamboat, this is you tonight, CM Punk, this is you in three weeks time and anyone that gets in our way, this is you, WOOO"
[Play Out]
Cody Rhodes against Ted DiBiase whom already made his mark earlier tonight, having a cocky swagger as he entered the ring but Cody was all business tonight, taking it right to Ted whom was able to out power him and since he knew all his offense he was able to counter him, avoiding the disaster kick and caught him with a hard clothesline, dropping him with the Dreamstreet, Cody kicking out as Ted was forced to play his trump card, hitting him with a low blow and put his feet on the ropes for the victory.
He would laugh at the victory and rolled out of the ring, signaling the US Title was coming home to him, Cody arguing with the ref about his feet on the ropes but of course he saw nothing, Cody kicking the rope a bit in anger exiting.
"Hey those of you curious about purchasing the WWF Wrestlemania Pay Per View, don't bother because who ever loses on that show will end up working for this company anyway and I'll be the one to bury them after I defeat Chono just like I beat my former tag partner. Needless to say, with the draft right around the corner, my status here, after I attain the U.S. Title will not only be golden, but in fact, Pricess."
"Tough break there for Cody Rhodes, we hope you join us this Saturday for All*Star Wrestling where we have a stacked card, Hart Dynasty will defend their tag titles against Hirojima, a fatal four way against Christopher Daniels, Jeff Hardy, Billy Kidman and Sin Cara to determine the number one contender for Taka's Cruiserweight Title and the main even, Mr. Perfect vs. Masahiro Chono II, it's going to be one hell of a show that's for sure and we're giving word that John Morrison will respond to Joey Mercury's claim to the World Title, it's going to be a big one."
[Play Out]
Holy shit talk about a Main Event, lord knew what that OTHER company was trying to put on but THIS is what you call star power here as Ric Flair and Sting started the match off and this was as classic as you could get, Flair and Sting never losing a step or a page out of their storied rivalry here, Flair being tossed around the ring as Sting took him to school and back, Flair backing away and tagged in Tully whom was ready for a fight, Sting looking over to his corner and tagged in Bret.
Techniqual vs. Techniqual here as Tully and Bret would dance around the ring, dropping each other with hip tosses, shoulder blocks, drop toe holds, bodyslams, suplexes, snapmares, you name it and these two did it in the middle of the ring, Tully proving to have the power but Bret had the technique, countering every single move he could almost latching on the Sharpshooter but he was kicked off, Blanchard tagging in Arn whom called Bret's game, saying he could out wrestle him as Bret locked up with him, finding out REAL fast just how good Arn really was, having power and technique in his corner.
Arn kept to a pound and ground, keeping Bret in his corner allowing Tully and Flair to get in cheap shots as he almost scored the win on three seperate occasions but Bret refused to give in, getting tossed into the buckle but caught Arn with a running neckbreaker, turning up the pressure and kept him down with Bret Hart offense, going for the Sharpshooter but he was kicked back.
Arn charging in with a double axe but was tossed to the buckle, Hart dropping him with a Russian Leg Sweep and applied the Sharpshooter. He had it on for a second until Tully charged in, Bret tackling him down as the ref had to break it apart, Arn dropping him with the Spinebuster, making a quick tag out to Flair whom went for the Figure Four as Bret kicked him off and made the hot tag to Steamboat.
The crowd went fucking crazy as it was Steamboat, Flair, 7823 but it didn't matter, these old rivals would lock up and Steamboat lit up the ring with Dragonfire and high flying offense, Flair doing is signature flop three times due to the heavy offense as Steamboat was all over the ring, dropping him from pillar to post and back again, climbing the top rope and missed a cross body, Flair catching him with a low blow behind the refs back whom was distracted, Flair now showing Steamboat a thing or two and maybe three, Space Mountain was in business and Steamboat was getting the long ride without a seatbelt, Flair dropping him down and went for the FigureFour but Ricky pulled him in.....only for a two.
Flair came at him again but was dropped down with a toe hold, Steamboat ducking a clothesline with a slide and tagged in Sting whom went nuts on Flair, tossing him around the ring and caught him with the Stinger Splash then a second one, coming down hard with the Scorpion Death Drop, Arn coming into the ring as Sting tossed him to the ropes, Bret low bridging and fought Arn on the outside as Tully came in, Steamboat leaping from the rope with a flying chop, dragging him to the floor as Sting was all alone with Flair, calling him up with a long Woooooooooo to the crowd.
Flair held his hands up, unable to get the sneak advance as Sting caught him with a bodyslam, going for the Deathlock but Flair kicked him off right into the ref, Sting coming off the rope as Flair caught him with a low blow. He turned as Tully tossed him a lead pipe, Flair turning to finish Sting off, swinging for the fences and missed as Sting dropped him down and caught him in the ScorpionDeathlock. Flair would scream and curse out, tapping out like a prisonor in the shower as Sting kept that hold applied, Flair needing to get out of it as Sting was hit from behind with a steel chair by Alberto Del Rio.
He would scream out at him, beating Sting over the back with the chair over and over again, finishing him off with the El Dorado Suplex, picking Flair up and placed him on top, rolling to the outside, 1-2-3.
Son of a bitch, The Horsemen with a bit of help from Del Rio were able to steal this one away, it was obvious they probably didn't welcome Del Rio but his fued with Sting was blood thick now, Del Rio screaming out that he hoped he got Sting's attention now heading to the back, The Horsemen celebrating in the center of the ring and proceeded to dish out even more punishment on Hart and Steamboat, officials having to break up the possible gang warfare, Flair and the Horsemen backing off heading up the ramp, Flair wooing at the crowd saying again, the Horsemen were taking over as Monday Nitro would fade to black.
All*Star Wrestling
The show opened up with Alberto Del Rio coming down the ring and told the world he hoped he got Stings attention he then demanded that he face him at Clash Of The Champions and he refused to work another Nitro or All*Star event or even house show unless he got his way. The Draft was coming up and either he or Sting would be gone by the end of it.
The first match officially kicked off with Hart Dynasty defending against Hirojima and christ almighty was this a hell of a bout with Dynasty and Hirojima doing moves that would break backs and necks, Gotoh and Kidd stealing the show here as they went to a full ten minute guantlet back and forth, Kidd able to score the win for Dynasty countering the GoToHell powerbomb into a hurricanrana for the victory.
Second match was the Fatal Four Way between Kidman, Cara, Daniels and Hardy, they were all over the place, Daniels and Hardy teaming up to take down the opposition but it didn't take long for both of them to turn on each other trying to get the win for themselves, Cara in the later half able to score the FinalSin on Daniels, Kidman tossing him to the outside trying to steal the victory but Hardy broke up the count with a Swanton Bomb followed up with a Twist of Hate for the victory yelling out The Cruiserweight Division was about to get XTreme.
John Morrison made his way to the ring rather candidly and mentioned that if Mercury wanted a match he would give it to him at Clash Of The Champions but the match they were going to have was be one on one. He also mentioned that Mercury was in control of his own destiny and if he wanted to play the blame game, he would go there on Nitro but for now, he would be the good sport and give him what he wanted.
And in the Main Event it deffinately was Masahiro Chono against Mr. Perfect for the US Title and this was almost as good as their last match if not better, Chono though the aggressor in this match hitting Perfect with every move he had though Perfect kicked out at every turn, Chono getting a bit frustrated, Perfect using that to his advantage, dropping him with the PerfectPlex but Chono this time kicked out, Perfect surprised at that one getting kicked to the floor, Chono going after him tossing him into the ring as Ted DiBiase jumped him from behind, the match getting tossed out as DiBiase finishing him off with DreamStreet right into the barricade, leaving the ringside area with a grin as Mr. Perfect was extra pissed off now, chasing after him, Chono retained but by DQ and would probably be extra pissed when he woke up as All*Star Wrestling came to a close.
Week 2
[Play Out]
Mr. Perfect againt Ted DiBiase Jr. the winner to face Chono at Clash Of The Champions, this match being made during the dark match program, DiBiase was obviously outmatched, outskilled and just outclassed, Perfect taking out all of his frustrations on DiBiase for screwing him out of his match on All*Star Wrestling, almost scoring the win when DiBIase would catch him with a low blow, dropping him with DreamStreet to score the victory. He would laugh raising his hand in victory as he was announced as Number One Contender for the US Title, leaving the ringside area grinning all the while.
"Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to Monday Nitro, we started off with a match tonight as we have results from the UK Tour over the week, Masahiro Chono will be action here tonight and...well folks I've just been told the Horsemen just arrived in the building, can we get a camera backstage please?"
Cameras indeed made it backstage as The Horsemen with Ole this time in tow were moving through the hallway, obviously not caring if they were late to the event, Arn clearing his throat as a bunch as crew pulled away from the snack table, The Horsemen starting to take the spoils until they were approached by Kevin Kelly.
"Mr. Flair if I could just-"
"No you cannot little man because The Horsemen have arrived and our law has been spoken. We're here to kick some ass and find twenty women who want to know where they stand in the annals of feminity....and what do you want?"
Coming from off camera was Frankie Kazarian.
"Look, I don't appreciate what you did to me last week, me and a bunch of other guys aren't too fond of this Martial Horsemen Law you're trying to conduct. How about you be a man and fight me in the ring."
Arn, Tully and even Ole were ready to teach him a lesson as Flair spoke up.
"The Nature Boy, Ric Flair against whoever you are?"
"Yes, because I have a thousand dollars right here that says I can beat you."
"Keep your money little man because that won't even buy me a pair of shoes. You go suit up, sign some autographs and make reservations at a hostpital because tonight we're making an example out of you."
He would nod and walked off, Flair grinning telling some of the crew to take the snack table into their locker room as we move back to the ring.
[Play Out]
Tamina was in action tonight and she was looking for the big W as he went up against MsChif and by god was this a contrast of style here. While MsChif brought the submission high flying game, Tamina brought intensity and power offense that would make the men wince at some of the stuff she was doing. Hell during one of the moves she lifted MsChif up and gorilla pressed her out of the ring upon the table. MsChif staggered inside taking one hell of a Dominator as Tamina climbed her way to the top, leaping for the splash and missed, MsChif catching her with a dropkick followed up with a cross body to the outside. They would battle to the floor, MsChif irish whipping her into the barricade and rolled into the ring just in time getting the victory via count out.
A sneaky way to win but a win nonetheless as MsChif rose her hand up in victory. She looked as if she were in great pain, rolling out of the ring as Tamina went after her, oh she was pissed off for sure but MsChif grinned at her, heading to the back, you could be sure the current women's champion was watching.
"Hell of a battle there folks, MsChif able to score the win, lets take a look at the recap of the NWA British Open Tour that took place over the week, Hart Dynasty made a huge splash defending their Titles against Hirojima, John Morrison our World Champion had a hell of a showing as he defended against Jeff Jarrett and the Main Event folks get this, getting one hell of a welcome home, Winter returned to England her homecoming was ruined by Serena whom jumped her from behind, these two later in the night went on to have a steel cage match. Folks we are unable to show you just how bad these two women were but my lord were both women busted up as Winter beat her with the Absolute Zero DDT in the center of the ring. And on our last night there what a hell of a show as Taka Michonoku defended against Billy Kidman, Masahiro Chono defended against Hiroki Gotoh and the shocker Main Event was Sting and Ricky Steamboat teaming up against Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard, able to take them down in the end, we hope to visit the UK In the VERY near future once again."
[Play Out]
Masahiro Chono fresh from the tour was ready for some action as he went up against Vader. These two monsters for lack of a better term completely killed each other within ten minutes, Chono avoiding the Vaderbomb and blasted Vader out of the ring scoring a count out victory. Chono staggered to his feet, the ref handing his title belt over as he was then clotheslined by Ted DiBiase. He would look down at him and finished him off with Dreamstreet, reaching into his pocket and left another fifty dollars on the floor with a bottle of polish, leaving the ringside area saying his had a party he was late for, Nitro cutting to a break.
[Promo]
Joey Mercury was going to prove his salt here tonight as he went up against Owen Hart, forcing Melina to take his hoodie to the back and fetch him some mineral water as the match began. This was a different side of Mercury, he had a mean streak a mile long it seemed as he took it to Owen Hart, not even taking to the ropes like he normally would. Owen did get in some good shots, able to drop him with the Sharpshooter until Melina hit the apron, Mercury kicking Owen off and dropped him with a Fameasser followed by the MercuryRising Sitout Powerbomb for the victory. Melina entered the ring, giving him his mineral water and used a towel to dab the sweat off of him, Mercury pointing to the outside as she quickly fetched him a mic and stayed on the floor where she 'belonged'.
"Morrison, this was a preview of our match in two weeks time. I want you to promote yourself with that title the best you can, because the Era of the Rockstar is about to come to an abrupt end. I know there isn't a wrestling fan alive that says I will not defeat you and become World Champion but I want those same critics to not wallow and cry when it happens. I know you're going to tell your fans you're going to win, and I hope you do, because I am taking that title and whether these fans believe me or not, it is going to happen and there is nothing that is going to stop it."
He would set the mic down and pointed to the ropes, Melina holding them open for him as he would exit, she quickly handing him his mineral water and followed behind him up the ramp. We move to the back where Kazarian was getting his kneepads on, stretching for his match up as he was approached by Cody Rhodes.
"Look Kaz, my family has a history with the Horsemen and I don't agree with what they're doing but if I were you I wouldn't battle against them. You saw what they did to Punk and with the Draft coming up the last thing you need is another loss under your belt."
"Thanks Cody, I don't plan on winning but I just want a piece of him cause the sooner the Horsemen are gone the better it'll be for guys like us."
Cody would walk off and let Kaz finish his workout as we move back to the ring.
[Play Out]
Cody Rhodes was in action tonight against go figure his brother Dustin as these two picked up right where they left off from Starrcade and Dustin was the aggressor in this match no less, giving it to Cody with no regrets. Cody fought right back and was able to score some ground, catching him with the Disaster Kick, almost scoring the victory but he kicked out. Cody stood behind him calling him up for CrossRhodes until he looked around realizing the Horsemen had surrounded the ring. Obviously they didn't take what Cody said to Kazarian lightly as they would enter the ring.
The ref called for the bell as Cody did the best he could fighting against them but once Arn and Ole got a hold of him they powerbombed him to the canvas, stomping and beating upon him like a gang. Flair having him held up, squeezing his face and sucker punched him over and over again, yelling out this was going to happen to Punk, Dustin on the outside recovering climbing upon the apron..but then dropped, watching them beat upon his little brother with great rage and anger and started to leave ringside. It wasn't his problem, he wasn't going to get involved and the fans were pissed at him as the Anderson's dropped a now bloody Rhodes with a Spinebuster. The Horsemen threw up the four fingers and left the ring, the ref throwing up the X symbol as Cody was hurt and hurt badly, cameras moving to the back to catch up with Dustin.
"Dustin, Dustin, what the hell are you thinking that's your own brother out there!"
"It's not my problem. I'm not repeating the same stupidy of my brother and father against the Horsemen. The man who turns tail and runs lives to fight another day."
Dustin pushed Kevin out of the way and walked down the hall, the Horsemen could be heard somewhere in the hallway yelling out this was their show and they were taking over, Nitro cutting to a break.
[Promo]
"Ladies and Gentlemen welcome back to Monday Nitro, we apologize for the actions of the Four Horsemen here, we can tell you Cody was able to walk out on his own accord but we're more so shocked at the actions of Dustin Rhodes, we'll keep you updated. As far as updates go the 2013 Draft is coming up, a lot of wrestlers have been on edge as to their status here in the NWA which does explain why our champions have been essentially challenged left and right, especially the cruiserweight division because as we all know Champions remain safe and from what I'm being told every win counts when it comes to the Draft and The G1 Rankings that's coming up in the Summer."
[Play out]
Ooooh yeah Macho Man Randy Savage was up tonight against one hell of an opponent in Jeff Jarrett whom proclaimed Savage was going to be the first one traded out of this company. The match carried out for ten full minutes and it was wrasslin' to say the least, Savage missing the flying elbow as Jarrett caught him with a roll up hooking the tights for the victory. Oh Savage was pissed off that he cheated, Jarrett exiting the ring laughing, yeah he cheated but hey he was in it to win.
"Tough break there for Randy Savage, next week folks Monday Nitro comes to you live with three huge announcements, we're being told that Alberto Del Rio has called Sting out and he will meet him face to face in the ring, John Morrison and Joey Mercury will also meet face to face to determine the match they will have at Clash Of The Champions and the Return of the Phoenix Hayabusa."
We then get a split screen shot of Ric Flair heading down to the ring area as we see Frankie Kazarian talking with some officials, knowing he was about to get his ass kicked in just a little bit here, heading to the ring area.
[Play out]
Jeff Hardy in ring action tonight against Sin Cara and this was Semi Main here, Cara and Hardy literally igniting the crowd here with high flying moves and prowess, neither one of them schooled in submission so it was a literal showmanship of high risktaking moves and death defying saults to the floor. Cara couldn't beat Hardy's strength no matter what he tried as Jeff was able to catch him with a powerbomb then a Twist of Hate on the floor, rolling inside for the victory. He wouldn't even grin at the camera knowing what he had to do in order to get the win over Taka, taking his armbands off and tossed them at Cara as he exited the ring, making sure none of the fans got a hold of him, making a signal that the title belt was coming home to the Regime as we prepared for the Main Event of Monday Nitro.
[Play Out]
The crowd couldn't get any louder as Flair came down the ring with perhaps the biggest dick it the business having the Horsemen stay by the ramp to prevent anyone from entering, Kazarian being the only one allowed through as he entered the ring. This was scary here as there was no way out here, Flair wooing to the crowd then ran his hands through his hair, Kazarian running his hands through his hair and tossed the sweat in his face to start the match off.
Flair came in hard and fast but Kaz was too fast for him, hitting him with knees, kicks and forearms keeping the pace quick knowing that was his only chance for survival. Flair resorted to the outside a few times but Kaz met him with suicide dives and planchas, tossing Flair into the ring and gave the Horsemen a dirty look, re entering as Flair picked the bones early, going right for that knee and started to weaken it.
Flair kept his assault on his knee and leg, dropping elbows, knees over it, slamming it into the ring spot, into the stairs and even removed the protective padding and slammed his knee onto the concrete. The ref tried to stop it but Flair told him not to, tossing Kaz back into the ring. Flair would continue to just punish him, dropping him with a knee breaker and climbed the top rope, wooing out to the crowd as Frankie rolled and lunged at the rope causing him to crotch it, climbing up and came down with a superplex.
Only a two for his efforts as Kaz on one bad leg started to fight back until he was lowbridged to the outside at the feet of the Horsemen. Flair distracted the ref as all three of them beat the holy hell out of him, tossing him into the ring as Flair picked the bones, taking his kneepad and threw it away now really starting to put the hurt on him, Frankie having to kick him away and fight with one leg at this point, Flair just dropping him at everyturn, moving him to the corner and slapped him over the face.
Kaz got pissed and started to slug away, Flair getting caught in a rapid fire assault backing away and did his Flairflop, rolling to the floor but Kaz dragged him in by the hair, bodyslamming him down and moved to the top rope, leaping with a skyhigh moonsault and crashed down, covering only for two. He hobbled to his feet as Flair hooked the tights and lowbridged him headfirst into the steel post, Kaz busted open now as Flair went to the floor, punching the wound open with barefists.
Flair tossed him into the guardrail and brought the camera over, yelling that Punk was going to suffer the same exact fate, tossing him into the ring doing a little strut as he grabbed the leg, going for the figure four but Kaz kicked him off, rising up and swung, the blood in his eyes as he couldn't see, Flair dropping him with a chopblock and would apply the figure four.
He would woo and rocked back and forth, Kaz screaming out for mercy, trying to fight out of it, blood and tears in his eyes as Flair yelled at him to tap out, cranking up the pressure. Kaz would literally cry out in agony, punching the mat with his fists as the ref was ready to call it, Kaz shaking his head no emphatically, doing whatever he had to in order to ignore the pain. Flair twisting again as Kaz literally yelled out over the crowd, grabbing the ref's leg out of reaction, Flair letting go of the hold and dragged him to the buckle, chopping hard over his chest and placed his leg over the rope, kicking at it.
He backed off and came in with a hard clothesline, Arn getting the refs attention as Flair reached into his tights, having a pair of knucks and clocked Kaz right over the head, watching him drop to the mat, Flair placing them back in his tights as he pulled Kaz up, moving him again to the corner with hard knifeedge chops, tossing him to the other and charged in, Kaz smacking off and caught Flair with a spinning headscissor out of desperation.
He used the rope to pull himself up, Flair not knowing where he was as he was lifted up and dropped with the KazKrashBuster, Kaz covering......for two. Oh that was so close, Kaz almost crying right there in the middle of the ring, having to drag himself up as Flair punched to the knee bringing him down, Kaz holding his knee as Flair would really turn up the pressure, going for the Figurefour but Kaz kicked him off right into the ref as the Horsemen spilled inside.
Now it was a full four on one assault, Kaz was just meat to sharks at this point, beating the hell out of him, Kaz being busted open even more now as they stomped and drove him down with spinebusters ready to just rip him apart as Cody Rhodes then spilled into the ring to help out. Of course alone he couldn't do anything but he was backed up by Bret Hart and Ricky Steamboat whom slid inside to try and help against the opposition. Officials came down having enough as they pulled the warring men to the back, Flair getting a hold of a steel chair and entered the ring, placing Frankie's leg in it and came down hard, smashing it to pieces, picking it up and did it again.
Kaz rolled away from him, holding his leg having enough, unable to stand as Flair picked the chair up to finish him off when a fan obviously had enough, spilling into the ring with a Four Horsemen shirt and blasted Flair with the GTS.
It was obvious whom that was as the fan tossed his hat and shirt off revealing to be CM Punk who cursed him out, exiting the ring and threw the ref inside, Flair rising up holding his jaw, cursing Punk out and went for him through the ropes, Punk avoiding him as Flair was pulled inside and dropped down with the CrimsonTide STO, covering....1-2-3!
"Here is your winner, Frankie Kazarian."
The roof came off as Kaz stole this one from Ric Flair, exiting the ring and escaped into the crowd. The first win of his career and it was against Ric Flair whom rose up, kicking the ropes, wide eyed and pissed off, Punk just grinning at him knowing he just pushed Ric Flair's buttons. Kaz rose his arms up in the crowd, still unable to believe he just got the win of the century yelling out that the Future has finally arrived as Monday Nitro would Fade To Black.
All*Star Wrestling Results
The show opened up with Ted DiBiase Jr coming down to the ring proclaiming he was going to take the U.S. Title from Masahiro Chono going one on one with Frankie Kazarian whom was riding a wave of momentum. The bout carried out as Kazarian had him on the ropes, going for the finish but DiBiase caught him with a low blow getting the bout tossed out and dropped him with Dreamstreet, grinning his way to the bank.
Second match on the card would pit Lita squaring off against MsChif in one hell of a bout, these two women completely gave the rest of the division a run for it's money, Lita dropping her down with the Twist of Fate, almost scoring the victory if MsChif hadn't gotten her foot on the rope, catching her off guard with an inside craddle for the victory, MsChif back on the horse and was looking for gold, hoping Winter had been watching.
Third bout got the crowd heated as Dustin Rhodes came down, hearing the fans just tear into him about abandoning Cody but he went up against Misawa whom made a return to the ring from NOAH. Dustin gave it one hell of a fight, actually getting busted in the mouth, fighting back against Misawa best he could but ultimately he was dropped with the Emerald Flowsion.
Main Event of the evening would see a returning Keiji Mutoh squaring off against The Man They call Vader, both of them tearing it up all throughout the ring, Vader again having the powergame, Keiji the striking as they mixed it up for twenty straight minutes, the bout was thrown out when Alberto Del Rio came to the ring and hit both of them with steel chairs. He was vicous and going crazy, wanting an answer from Sting and wanted it now, he wasn't going to wait as the lights cut out and Sting appeared on the stage, pointing at him then up at the Pay Per View Banner that was hanging up, Del Rio got his way and was ready for a fight right then and there as All*Star Wrestling came to a close.
