Whoa...just like that, Owen was able to surprise Benoit, rising up and shook his hand, grinning at him a bit and wished him good luck in ROH, leaving the ring as he advanced to the next round, wipping his nose some as we cleared the ring for the next match. [Play Out] Are you seeing this? Hayabusha against Johnny Nitro? Oh yes this was happening as the bell rang, both of them moving around the ring, locking up as Hayabusha got behind him, raising him up as Nitro blocked, getting behind him, running forward as Hayabusha grabbed the rope, Nitro rolling back and came in with a kick, Hayabusha rolling under and climbed up his shoulders. Nitro pushed him off, Hayabusha landing on the rope and would springboard with a headscissor, tossing Nitro to the floor. He rose up and ran full speed doing a climb up moonsault, crashing down upon Nitro. He would slug him over the head, tossing him to the apron as Nitro would leap up and connected with a Flying Chuck. Holy crap that was quick as he tossed him into the ring, climbing the rope and came down with Starship Pain, covering for two as Hayabusha got his foot on the rope. Nitro dragged him up as Hayabusha connected with a hard shot to the face, coming off the rope and dropped him with a spinning dejavu DDT, rising up and would connect with a spinning headscissor again, Nitro smacking into the buckle and was dropped with a release back suplex. He would kick hard to his chest and back, going for a spinkick as Nitro ducked, leaping into the air and dropped him with a headscissor legdrop, rolling to his feet and clotheslined him to the floor. Nitro yelled out, running hard and took to the top rope and flew with a cross body, crashing down below on Hayabusha and pulled him up, dragging him over to the announce table and slammed him down, moving over to the apron then climbed the top rope. Nitro yelled out, taking a leap of faith with an elbow and smashed through with Hayabusha. Holy shit the fans cried out as Nitro rose up, tossing him hard into the ring and rushed in with a flying lariat, missing as Hayabusha ducked and came off the rope, ducking under him again and springboard off with a dropkick, connecting hard then picked him up, dropping him with a rolling senton then springboarded off the rope with a moonsault, covering for two. Both men rose though Hayabusha swept the leg and quickly locked in a triangle choke, Nitro kicking around as he turned his body, rising up as Hayabusha rolled back with an inverted frankensteiner, nearly breaking Nitro's neck as he turned him over, covering for two. He rose up him, hitting along his back and neck, tossing him to the corner and caught him with a bulldog, hearing the crowd as he dropped Nitro with a DDT, moving him over to the corner and climbed the rope for the Phoenix Splash though Melina flew down to the ring, screaming at him to get down, giving Nitro enough time to rise up and pushed Hayabusha off the rope, hearing him smash into the barricade. Nitro rolled after him, pulling him up and slammed him chest first against the barricade, tossing him back inside and would springboard in the ring with a legdrop over the throat. He rose with a pose, coming off the rope with a running knee and smashed it over his head, rising up and tried for a whirling powerbomb though Hayabusha rolled forward and snapped Nitro with a sunsetflip powerbomb, roling back and snapped him down with a flatliner. Hayabusha hit the rope and came down with the PhoenixSplash, connecting as he rose up, picking Nitro up for the Falcon Arrow though Nitro countered it right into a Stunner, knocking him loopy and came with the Nitroblast, Hayabusha barely getting out of the way as he tackled Nitro over the rope with a crossbody to the floor. Melina yelled at Nitro to rise up as Hayabusha rose first, dropping him down with a bodyslam, climbing upon the apron and ran with a rolling senton, smashing upon the hard floor as he rose up, moving back along the stageway and ran full speed, leaping upon the rail and leapt with a senton, Nitro catching him in mid air, slamming him into the steel post then down hard with a sit out powerbomb. Slowly both men would rise, Hayabusha scoring early with a kick to the chops at the same time Nitro got him as well. Both of them stumbled and started to make it to the apron, Nitro rolling in as Melina grabbed Hayabusha by the leg, preventing him from entering as he literally kicked her off, she smacked into the barricade, just barely making the nine count. Nitro rolled to the floor, checking on Melina not seeing that she grabbed the foot that caused that, rolling back into the ring, and tackled Hayabusha to the mat, starting to punch at his head. Nitro would rise up and tackled him to the corner, slugging him over and over again over the head and violently, pulling back and blasted him with a Nitroblast to the corner then went right back to him, hitting over his head with his knees and fists, the ref pushing him back but Nitro exploded on him again in the corner, the ref ringing the bell tossing the match out as Hayabusha wasn't even blocking anymore, stopping the match on means of knock out. Melina actually pulled into the ring and pulled Nitro off, grabbing him by the face and told him to calm down, settle down, relax as he advanced to the next round, the fans not sure if they liked that decision or not as she helped him to the back, Melina though looking back towards the ring with an evil grin almost as if she planned for that to happen, Nitro pushing through the curtain. [Play Out] Tiger Mask IV against Randy Savage, this was deffinately going to be good as they would lock up, Mask push him back, Savage coming off the rope but was dropped with a headlock takedown, Savage rolling to his feet and elbowed out, hitting the rope as Mask caught him with a hurricanarana, covering for two. Mask caught him in a rear waistlock, Savage rolling forward to break free but Tiger held on, quickly turning it into a german but Savage blocked, getting behind Tiger then clubbed over his back, tossing him to the rope as Tiger came off with a cartwheel wheel kick, connecting then nailed the running neck snap then dropped Savage with a climb up headscissor, locking it in and held him down. Savage slowly got to his feet, tossing Mask hard to the rope, dropping him with a backbody drop then a bodyslam, rising up but was dropped with an armdrag himself the a dropkick, Mask kicking at the legs and the ribs with one spin kick to the corner. He moved to the corner and struck at him with tiger strikes, Savage blocking and started to punch back, hitting to the gut and tossed him to the corner, Mask grabbing the corner and would do a handstand, catching Savage by the head with his feet and moved along the rope with his hands, tossing him to the floor. Savage hit with a thud as Mask saulted over the rope with a cartwheel summersault plauncha, crashing below. Mask pulled him up and tossed him into the ring, staying upon the apron and waited as he leapt with a senton, Savage countering right into an atomic drop then a snapmare, Savage snapping off the rope with a shoulder lariat then a cross body, watching him rise and sent him to the corner, chaining with a dropkick then a bulldog. Savage rose, grabbing the arm and locked in a hammerlock, Mask leaping up then rolled forward, breaking out and nearly caught a spin kick, Savage countering right into a school boy for two. Both men rose as Savage struck first with a kneeliff then a facebuster though Mask pushed him off just in time, Savage coming hard off the rope and was tossed in the air and caught right into powerspine buster, Mask covering for two. That was new as Mask locked in a full nelson clutch, latching on tightly as Savage struggled to his feet, grabbing Mask's legs and smashed him into the buckle, turning around and started to hit over his head, Mask blocking and struck back at him, Savage fighting back with a headbutt then dropped him with an overthe rope guillotine, rolling inside then caught him with a clothesline then a backsuplex, pointing his finger up and dropped him with a double underhook suplex, watching him rise and dropkicked him through the ropes. Mask held on as he stood on the apron, Savage trying to pull him in hardway but was clocked over the head, hitting to the gut and sunset flipped over, using the momentum and came off the rope with a cross body though Savage reversed the momentum into a pin for two. They locked up again, Savage hitting the side headlock and was tossed off, putting the breaks at the buckle and caught Mask with a back elbow, climbing the buckle and came down with a double ax, grabbing the arm and wrenched at it, twisting and pulling as Mask would roll with aerobatics, countering but took a clothesline for his efforts. Savage dropped two big elbows then stomped at the head, dragging him up and bodyslammed him down, moving to the rope and waited as he came down over the back of the head with a double ax, Mask stumbling and leaned over the middle rope as Savage did his patended sit out rope choke, sliding to the floor. He dragged Mask over the apron and caught him with a running knee lift, moving to the apron and called him up. He charged in though Mask leapt, catching him with a hurricarana and tossed him into the ring, Mask landing on his feet, hitting Savage with Tigerstrikes, ducking a punch and dropped him with a release belly to belly suplex. Liz would pound the mat as Savage was dropped with a tigerback suplex then a gorilla press drop over the rope. Savage would dangle as Mask hit the rope, coming down with a legdrop over the back of the head, Savage hitting the floor as Mask stay on the apron, waiting. He would then moonsault off the rope, Savage moving out of the way as Mask landed on his feet, rushing in though Savage sidestepped and tossed him to the post, Mask then doing a TigerFeint Kick, looping around the buckle and caught Savage in the chest on the follow through, tosing him into the ring and climbed the rope, lining up his shot and leapt, connecting with a missile dropsault, making a motion he had him where he wanted him, coming in as Savage hit a droptoe hold, Mask's face hitting the bottom turn buckle. Momentum shifted just like that as Savage pulled him from the corner, pulling him up and dropped him with a shinbreaker, wanting to immobilize him as he jerked at the leg, Mask kicking him off and rose, leapfrogging over and caught him with a hiptoss, Savage countering with a hiptoss of his own as Mask blocked doing a backflip armdrag, getting a running start and caught Savage with a running monkey flip then a clothesline to the apron. Mask moved to pull himside though Savage blocked and rammed his head into the buckle, climbing up quickly and dropped him with a tornado DDT, covering only for two. Real close there as Savage pulled him up, hitting the gut and went for a piledriver as Mask flipped him over, ducking a punch and dropped Savage with a backslide for two. Savage rose and locked him in a front face lock, hitting with his knees, tossing him to the corner and came in, taking a boot to the face, Mask climbing up and would hit a moonsault headscissor, Savage smacking the buckle as he was placed on top, Mask climbing up on the other side and came down hard with a sunset flip super powerbomb, covering....for two. Damn even that was close as he had to finish him off, letting Savage rise and hit over his back, tossing him to the rope but Savage Irish whipped hard, Mask coming off the rope and slid under his legs, Savage turning around as Mask climbed up upon his shoulders and rolled back, getting behind him and quickly pulled him up and dropped him face first with a King Kong Buster, rolling back and caught Savage with a dropkick, Savage smacking off the buckle as Mask kicked him in the gut, hooking the arms and rose him up though Savage flipped him over, breaking out of it and rammed him to the corner, ramming his shoulders into his ribs, hitting a few times as Mask brought the knee up, hitting him in the face and climbed the rope, leaping for a lariat and missed, rolling to his feet as Savage snapped him with a powerslam and followed up with a suplex, moving to the top rope and rose the fingers up, Mask quickly rising and climbed up after him, trying for a super hurricarana though Savage countered with a super sitout powerbomb, covering...for two. Randy looked at the ref, tough bastard Mask was as he pulled him back up, slamming him down to the mat as Mask countered with a small package for two. Both men rose and started to slug it out, Mask winning with a spin kick over the head then picked him up for a powerbomb, Savage hitting to his head and dropped him down getting one good stomp in then pushed him to the corner, hitting hard elbows over the head and climbed up, starting to punch at his head until Mask rose him up, forcing Savage to straddle the turnbuckle. He moved behind Savage, looking to drop him with a super Tigerbacksuplex though Savage blocked and elbowed him off, turning around and flew with the flying elbow.........for three. Wow what a match that was as Savage rose his hand up, we were down to the final four as Savage, Nitro, Hart and Jarrett were locked in though Tiger Mask gave it one hell of an effort as he shook Savages hand as Round 2 would end and go to a break. "Talk about a tournament so far Jess, down to the final four but a lot of noteable wrestling performances tonight, Tiger Mask IV deffinately deserves to be a top contender, DragonKid I think surprised the most out of everyone here tonight, if I was going to make a guess here tonight I think Randy Savage just might be the one take it." "You know I disagree there, Savage had Tully and Tiger Mask, a lot of energy has been sapped out of him, I think Jeff Jarrett is going to take it to be honest Gorilla." "Maybe but Owen and Nitro are still in this thing too." "Owen took a beating at the hands of Benoit in the last match so he's probably not at 100% and Nitro against Hardy took a shot to the throat, if you noticed he was coughing a lot in his match with Hayabusha and actually surprised us all by knocking him out, still, Jarrett is the better conditioned athlete." "Well tomorrow night folks will be Night Two of The G1 Invitational and we still have yet to see such stars such as Bret Hart, Ric Flair, CM Punk, Del Rio, Mr. G1 Chono whom almost won it last year, all that can be seen tomorrow night." "And the Finals and Grand Finale take place at Sin, the top two from each block will face off and the remaining two will battle it out, it's going to be big." "Well the intermission is up as we have the final two matches here tonight, the final four men face off, only two will advance on, lets take you down to ringside." "Ladies and Gentlemen, this is the Final Round of the evening and will have a 30 Minute time limit."

[Play Out] Barely any time to rest, Jeff Jarrett against Randy Savage whom was still reeling from his match with Tiger Mask. Jarrett locked up and hit him in the gut with a knee, hitting over his back then dropped him with a russian leg sweep. He stomped at his head then smashed him into the buckle, hitting to his spine and turned him around, clocking him over the head several times before hiptossing him out. Jarrett waited and dropped him with a running knee lift followed up with a neckbreaker. Jarrett dropped elbows then came down with a knee over the throat, pulling him up and locked in a sleeper, almost hitting a suplex but Savage would grab the rope to break the hold. Jarrett tossed him to the rope, picking him up in a gorilla press and slammed him down then clotheslined him to the floor below, Liz rushing to his aid as Jarrett pushed her out of the way, warning her to stay put and slammed Savage into the stairs then back into the ring, lining him up and dropped him with a bodyslam, then another bodyslam, dropping a Jarrett knee over the head locking in a chinlock. Liz hit the mat to keep Savage awake, slowly rising to his feet as he broke out with his elbows, hitting the rope but took a back elbow then a snapmare, Jarrett locking in another sleeper as Savage rose up to a knee, pushing himself up and broke out with his elbows, hitting the rope and ducked the clothesline, coming in for a clothesline but Jarrett dropped him with a droptoe hold then a side headlock, giving a wink to Liz whom willed Savage on. He would slowly push himself up, pushing him off as Jarrett caught him with a shoulder block then a flying shoulder lariat, finishing him with a suplex then hit a running knee to the back, Savage stumbling to the floor below. Liz ran to him and went to help him up as Jeff slid to the floor, grabbing her by the wrist and started to pull her away, telling her to go sit in a kitchen or something, Liz actually slapping him over the face as he grabbed her by the hair and tossed her right into a rising Savage, Liz falling to the floor as Jarrett slammed him into the stairs shoulder first then back into the ring. Jarrett would lock in an eagle stretch, pressing the knee to his spine and pulled the arms out, yelling at him to just give up as Savage shook his head no. Jarrett pulled him up and wrenched on the arm, hitting a shoulder breaker then rammed him into the buckle, placing him on top and came down with a superhammer lock back suplex. Randy held his shoulder as Jarrett would ram knee after knee into it, locking in a side armbar, driving the knee into the shoulder as Savage struggled. He slowly pulled him up and dropped Savage with a clothesline, knowing this match was in the bag as he dragged him up, picking him up and slammed him with a powerbomb right upon the shoulder, doing that on purpose as he laid Savage over the rope and started to choke him with it, pressing the knee to the back and whipped him back, coming off the rope with a running elbow right over the head, watching him rise and dropkicked him to the corner, chaining with a backbody drop, Liz back to her feet and hit the mat to will Savage on. Jarrett moved over, kicking at her and told her to get the hell away from his ring, watching Savage rise and would chopblock the knee, jerking it out of place and came down with a kneebreaker, locking in the figure four as Savage grunted, trying to fight out of it but he was too exhausted to fight back, almost getting pinned down as he rose up. Jarrett yelled at him to tap, moving over to the rope and grabbed a hold for more leverage, the ref breaking it upon catching it and warned him about that, Jarrett pushing him aside and stomped at the knee, jerking it again as he set it over the rope and sat down upon it, Savage holding it in pain but then Jarrett kicked to the shoulder. It was picking his spots thats for sure as he pulled him up and placed him to the corner, hitting over his head then kicked to his ribs, even slapping him over the head in mock fashion but that seemed to piss Randy off as he started to slug back at him. Getting in a few good haymakers until Jarrett blocked a punch and dropped him with a flatliner DDT nearly seperating the shoulder. Jarrett rose up, looking to finish this now as he picked Savage up and dropped him with a back suplex, moving back for the figure four but was kicked off, coming off the rope as Savage dropped down catching him with a hiptoss but his shoulder gave away, holding it as Jarrett rammed him shoulder first into the steel post, dropping him down with a german suplex and climbed up the rope, doing a Savage like pose and leapt with a flying elbow and connected, covering...for two. Jarrett would make a face, dragging him up by the hair but Savage came alive with punch after punch, that elbow, seemed to piss him off, hitting him in the gut with a knee and came off the rope with a cross body, hobbling on the leg some and came back in, Jarrett countering and smashed him into the ref, Jarrett dropping him with a flapjack and left the ring, grabbing his guitar and was ready to blast him over the head, Liz getting on the apron and grabbed it. Jarrett turned around and swung at her with a fist, Liz ducking and slapped him over the face, Jarrett grabbing her by the hair as Savage turned him around and smashed him over the head with the Guitar, quickly climbing the top rope and came down with the flying elbow, Liz shaking the ref as he would stir, crawling over and counted, 1-2-3. Ha, all that work Jarrett did just to cheat ended up biting him in the ass, Savage scored the big win and now advanced to the Final Round at Sin. He rolled out of the ring, holding his shoulder and hobbled on one leg, just barely surviving that one but he scored the big win, Jarrett rising up and held his head, yelling at the ref that Savage cheated but can't call what you can't see as he rolled out of the ring, saying he was going to talk to someone about this as we prepared for the final match of the evening. [Play Out] Johnny Nitro against Owen Hart, this was going to be real good as Owen looked ready to go, Nitro moving around the ring as they locked up, Owen dropping him with a tomoe throw then a leg lace takedown, following up with a headlock take down wrenching on the head. Nitro with a dropsault, Owen with a standing wheel kick, that caught him off guard as he rammed Nitro to the corner, ramming the shoulders until Nitro rolled over him. He came off the rope with a corkscrew lariat, rising up and picked him high up and slammed him down upon his face, almost scoring the Nitroblast but Owen sidestepped and dropped Nitro with a release german suplex. Nitro hit and rolled up, getting a clothesline for his troubles, Owen coming off the rope and leapt with a bygod senton, Nitro smashing into the floor below. Owen rose first though Melina yelled at him to keep away from him, that giving Nitro a chance to tackle him into the barrier then toss him into the ring, hitting the apron and caught Owen with a springboard knee, rebusting that nose open then dropped him with a bulldog, Nitro rising up and started to kick at him, Owen catching the leg and swept him down then did a flip legwhip, nearly bending Nitro's leg over his head as he felt the hamstring pull. Owen got the rear waistlock, Nitro sliding behind him as Owen dropped and would kick him with his feet, rising up and came off the rope, Nitro leapfrogging then caught Owen with an armdrag, locking the arm as Owen rose and actually tossed Nitro off, watching him rise and dropped him with a droptoe hold, climbing the rope and came down with a double ax, Nitro catching him in mid air and dropped him with the C4 Suplex, covering for two. That was real close as Nitro pulled him up, pushing him to the corner and kicked to his ribs then over the head, backing away and kicked to the ribs dropping him down then rammed his knee into his face. Nitro dragged him from the corner, mounting him and started to punch at the head, Owen kicking in the back of his head with his foot, rising up and ducked a clothesline, catching Nitro on the way back with a sickening kick to the ribs, dropping him then after with a sunset flip snapneckbreaker, Nitro quickly rolling to the floor in great pain, Melina checking on him though Owen wouldn't give him time to breathe, leaping through the rope with a suicide dive. Owen would hit over his back, tossing him into the ring and climbed up, Melina grabbed his ankle as he would push her off, climbing up the top rope and dropped Nitro with a bulldog from the top rope, wiping the blood from his nose then locked him in a front facelock, using his knees to strike then tossed him to the rope, Owen dropped him with a backbody drop, coming off the rope himelf and came with a cross body, Nitro catching him and turned it into a pumphandle slam, covering for two. Nitro pulled him by the hair and smashed him headfirst into the buckle, placing him up and placed him in the tree of woe position, stomping at his face over and over again, Owen blocking and kicked him in the head with a free foot, getting his balance on the rope and came down with a tornado DDT, spiking it and covered for two. Owen rose up but was lowbridged right through the rope to the floor, Nitro rising up and would baseball slide, Owen stumbling into the barricade as Nitro charged in tackled him into the crowd, hitting over his head then hiptossed him back to ringside, climbing the barricade and leapt for a cross body, Owen catching him and did a fallaway slam, Nitro hitting the post. Melina ran to him, checking his ribs and yelled at Owen, getting right in his face and almost slapped him, Owen blocking the attempted slap as Nitro tackled him down, starting to punch at his head over and over again, raising up and tossed him into the ring, tackling him down again and started to slug over his face. One thing Nitro found out, Canadians can take a beating as Owen blocked the fist and dropped him with an inverted armbar. Nitro slowly rose up, Owen letting go and caught him right in the face with a spinning wheel kick then a facebreaker, climbing the top rope and came down with a moonsault, covering for two. Owen rose up with a rear waist lock though Nitro rolled forward, tossing him off and caught him with a scissor kick from out of no where, moving to the rope and leapt with Starship Pain, Owen moving out of the way as Nitro landed on his feet, stumbling back as Owen came in, Nitro leapfrogging but didn't expect Owen to put on the breaks, kicking him in the gut and dropped him with a piledriver. Owen moved over to his legs, locking them in and went for the sharpshooter but Nitro's long legs and body prevented the full turn as he spun him off. Nitro rose up and caught Owen with a T-Bone Suplex, coming off the rope with a running moonsault, Owen rolling out of the way as Nitro crashed and burned, rising up as Owen dropped him with his patented climb up ensiguri, Nitro down on his knees as Owen came off the rope with a dropsault, Nitro catching the legs and would slingshot him to the buckle. Owen smacked into it and fell back right into the Moonlight Drive, going for the pin as Melina told him to hit the rope. Nitro moved to the rope and went for Starship Pain....and missed as Owen moved, rising and caught Nitro's foot, swept the leg and locked in the sharpshooter. Nitro hit the mat, scratching and clawing trying to get out, Melina yelling at him to break free or else, Nitro crawling but wasn't moving anywhere, Owen having it locked in tightly. Nitro pushed up and slammed his fist on the mat, pushing himself up and would shaking his head, Owen yelling out for him to tap as Melina moved to the apron, yelling at the ref whom told her to get down as on the other side Joey Mercury slid into the ring though Owen let go of the hold, sidestepping and dropkicked him to the floor. Owen turned around and went back to Nitro whom caught him with a pele'kick, holding his back as he went for the Moonlight Drive though Owen pushed him off, Nitro putting on the breaks nearly crashing into Melina whom jumped off just in time, she yelled at Nitro whom turned around, getting caught in a school boy, kicking out. Ooh man Johnny Nitro won as he rolled out of the ring, holding his head some in pain but heard Melina scream out in praise, saying three down two more to go, Owen rising up telling the ref he had his foot on the rope but Melina would grin, Nitro raising his hand up in praise, Mercury raising him up in praise as the first night of G1 came to a close.

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Night Two of the 2012 G1 Climax Tournament! The rules are as follows: Each of the opening round matches will have a ten minute time limit. The winners of each match will go on to the quarterfinals, and will be scrambled for the quarterfinals, which will have twenty minute time limits. The four winners will then go onto the semifinals and be scrambled once again, the semifinals having thirty minute time limits. The Block A and B finals will be contested tomorrow night at NWA Sin, and will be contested under a one hour time limit, and the winners will go on to face off at the Grand Finale, which will have no time limit! Without further adeiu... This is the first opening round contest, scheduled for one fall with a ten minute time limit!" (Play Del Rio) "My name... my name is Alberto Del Rio, and I am the United States Champion! But you already knew that! What better way to start the show than with me, Alberto Del Rio! You see it is only fitting that the VERY EVENT I debuted in last year be opened up by the one man who has done more in one year than everyone in this tournament has done in their careers. You see it was at this very event that I defeated, in decisive fashion, might I add, Bam Bam Bigelow! And the defeat was so great that the NWA fired him soon after! Did you also know that I competed at the Royal Rumble AND Starrcade in the same night? Of course you did! You already knew that! And just over a month ago, I, Alberto Del Rio, single handedly defeated three nobodies in the same match, AND saved the NWA! I am going to be the winner of the G1 Climax, and I will go on to face the NWA World Heavyweight Champion, and I am going to win! Do you know why? Because I am the Essence of Excellence, Alberto Del Rio. But you already knew that. So whoever my opponent is, don't feel ashamed when you lose... because you're losing to the best, and that's me! Alberto Del Rio!" (Play Vader) All the color from Del Rio's skin just turned to ghostly white as Vader returned to the ring, Del Rio running out of it as Vader slid into the ring, the bell sounding! Vader quickly gave chase as Del Rio ran around the ring, sliding into the ring for safety, Vader sliding in after him, as Del Rio quickly put the boots to Vader's head, trying to keep him down, but Vader pushed him back, Del Rio charging and getting leveled with a clothesline! Del Rio scrambled to his feet in the corner as Vader bodysplashed him, hammering away on his head with heavy haymakers. He grabbed Del Rio and flung him high into the air, halfway across the ring, Del Rio landing hard on the canvas! He got back to his feet and grabbed a hold of the referee, Vader backing away as Del Rio hid. The referee turned around as Ricardo nailed Vader in the back with the US Title... but Vader just turned around and lifted him high into the air, turning around, as Del Rio fired the referee forward, Vader threw Ricardo forward, the referee ducking as Ricardo was thrown right into Del Rio! Ricardo rolled out of the ring as Del Rio got back to his feet, walking into a huge bodyslam, getting planted like a tree. Vader came off the ropes, leg dropping Del Rio's face! This was looking eerily familiar as Vader went for the Vaderbomb, but Del Rio rolled out of the ring, saving his life, as Vader rolled outside, following suit. He tossed Del Rio back in, who got back to his feet, going for a baseball slide, but Vader moved, Del Rio missing and splatting on the floor! Vader picked Del Rio up and threw him back inside again, stepping onto the apron and getting inside, Del Rio just barely getting back to his feet in the corner, as Vader closed the distance, hammering away on the sides of his head repeatedly. Del Rio's arms were at his sides, he couldn't defend himself as the referee tried to pull Vader off. Vader pushed the ref back and yelled "Don't touch me again," the referee being scared half to death, laying the count down on him. Del Rio was nearly unconscious, Vader just beating the shit out of him as the referee tried to pull Vader off again, Vader screaming at him that if he touched him one more time, he'd get knocked out. Del Rio ran forward out of the corner, but Vader hip tossed him, Del Rio crashing into the referee! Vader picked the referee up and launched him out of the ring! Vader then climbed the rope, crashing down on Del Rio with the Vaderbomb, as the referee called for the bell! "Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner by disqualification, Alberto Del Rio!" Vader didn't seem to care, as he went back up again, bouncing on the middle rope and crashing down with a second Vaderbomb, as referees and officials and even Antonio Inoki stormed down to the ring, trying to calm Vader down, Inoki pushing him back, saying something to him to keep him calm. Del Rio rolled out of the ring, raising his hands up in the air, grabbing the microphone somehow! "I did it! I did it again! I just beat Vader... twice!" Oh that did it, Vader left the ring, grabbing Del Rio by the hair, he wasn't done with him! The referees and officials begged him not to do it, as Vader lifted him into the air over his head, walking around ringside with Del Rio, as he ran forward and threw him over the guardrail into the sixth row at ringside! "Monsoon, what the hell? Do you condone that?" "Absolutely, Alberto Del Rio got exactly what he deserved, he got what he had coming to him!" "I have to agree there, he got a win in G1!" "That's NOT what I'm referring to!" "It doesn't matter what you're referring to, Gorilla, Del Rio's in the quarterfinals, and Vader is another notch in Del Rio's belt!" "Unfortunately you're right about that, but let's continue with the festivities!" "Ladies and gentlemen, this is a first round matchup, scheduled for one fall with a ten minute time limit!" (Play Ole) (Play Punk) Oh, this wasn't gonna be good as right off the bat, Punk jumped Ole, hammering away on his head, the bell sounding! Punk's hands were like machine guns, just firing lefts and rights on Ole's head, until Ole blocked one, beating Punk back to the center of the ring. He hammered down on his back, knocking Bret to a knee, going behind him and locking in a recliner. He started to walk back up the ramp, gathering his thoughts a little before re-entering the ring. Gotoh got counted out, and lost his opportunity to become Mr. G1, as Bret Hart won by countout, with a little help from Masahiro Chono. Gotoh reached under the ring and grabbed his staff, using it to pull himself up to his feet, as he gingerly walked to the back, his face seething with rage, obviously going to look for a little retribution from Masahiro Chono, as Bret climbed up on the middle rope and celebrated. A win was a win, no matter how you sliced it, as the cameras cut to Gorilla and Jesse. "What a 2nd block this is shaping up to be, Jesse Ventura, a lot of vendettas are beginning to reach those boiling points, I'm not sure that anyone's going to be able to hold back any more." "Absolutely, Gorilla Monsoon, at this point in time, I'd really hate to be Masahiro Chono, seeing as how, in the past, Gotoh and Koji have had their numbers, but now it's an even playing field with Mutoh back in the NWA, I just hope that NWA officials are able to hold those four away from each other." "As Bret Hart leaves the ring, let's bring you up to speed here on the eight men that have advanced to the quarterfinals. We've got Alberto Del Rio, CM Punk, Mr. Perfect, Ric Flair, Masahiro Chono in a record setting seven seconds, Mitsuharu Misawa, Keiji Mutoh, and now, Bret "the Hitman" Hart." "Now, what's interesting about this, Gorilla is that the tournament brackets we have written down may or may not happen. The winners are all going to be scrambled, so no one knows who they're going to face, it's going to be a surprise to everyone, including you and me!" "That's going to be something else for sure, never before has this been done, as once again, the NWA breaks ground, but I'm being told that Justin Roberts is ready to take it back to the ring, the quarterfinals are just about to start!"
"Ladies and gentlemen, this is a quarterfinal matchup scheduled for one fall!" (Play Flair) (Play Bret) You've GOT to be kidding me, Bret Hart just wrestled no more than five minutes earlier, and he had to wrestle a rested Ric Flair? Such is the nature of the tournament scramblings, as Bret Hart and Ric Flair stepped into the ring, the two men having history in the past, as the bell rang, Flair springing forward like a shark and hitting Bret in the head, rocking him to the corner. Flair chopped and punched away at Bret like a punching bag, sending Bret to the far corner, but Bret leapt up and over Flair, rolling him up from behind! 1.... 2.... no! Flair kicked out as Bret still had a lot of fight left in him, hammering away on Flair, as this wasn't even a wrestling match at this point. Flair went for another spin, but Bret pushed him straight through the ropes to the apron, Bret slowly getting to his feet as Flair started to ascend to the top rope. Bret caught him at the corner and launched him off with a body slam from the top, Flair landing awkwardly on his hip as he got back to his feet, backing into the corner. Bret hammered away on the midsection, then rose to the head, as Flair held onto him, the referee having to come in and try and get a break, as Bret broke off. Flair then quickly slapped Bret in the face, and wooed right in it. Flair started to strut out of the corner, and turned around into a dropkick to the mouth, Flair holding onto the ropes, not falling, but definitely rocked. Bret whipped Flair into the corner, but Flair reversed it, Bret hitting the corner chest first. He hit the mat hard as Flair dropped his signature knee right onto the forehead, covering soon after. 1.... 2.... no, Flair couldn't keep him down, Bret's first match with Gotoh starting to show its signs of fatigue on the Hitman. Flair got Bret back to his feet, hooking him up for a suplex, hitting it picture perfect, covering again. 1.... 2.... no! Bret kicked out again. "Ya know I've gotta say, Monsoon, despite the attitude that Flair's had lately, he still is putting on one hell of a performance tonight, he made short work of Taka, and now he's taking it to the Hitman." "I have to agree with that, but don't sell the Hitman short, we've seen what this guy can do several times, and I've got to be honest with you, he's my pick in this entire thing." "Your money's on the Hitman?" "Absolutely." Bret got sent back into the corner hard, coming out and falling to his knees, as Flair picked him back up and dropped him with a body slam, having a little more time to pace himself, as he lined up for another knee drop, but missed it as Bret rolled out of the way, getting back to his feet. Bret kicked Flair hard in the face, dropping an elbow onto his face before hitting a lateral press. 1.... 2.... no, Flair was able to squirm out from the other side, pulling himself up in the corner. Bret pulled him out and sent him up and over, Flair running the apron and leaping off the top rope with a double ax, but Bret sent a right hand to the midsection, stopping Flair dead in his tracks, quickly going behind and hitting a signature russian leg sweep, covering quickly. 1.... 2.... no! The Hitman picking Flair up and delivered a backbreaker, covering right after. 1.... 2.... no! Flair kicked out of that as well, as Bret picked Flair's legs up, teasing the Sharpshooter, but driving a foot right down to the midsection, but Flair caught the foot, kicking Bret in the chest, bringing him down, as Flair struggled to get to his feet, but he held onto the leg, wooing and dancing a little bit, going for the figure four, but Bret countered right into a small package! 1.... 2.... no, Flair kicked out as Bret rolled to his feet, Flair sending him down with a clothesline. Flair pounded the mat, shaking his head, not tapping out to the Sharpshooter! Bret leaned back, reeling harder on it, until Tully Blanchard sprinted down to the ring, reaching the apron, but Bret got up and blasted him in the face with a right hand! The referee turned to get Tully back, as CM Punk flew from the crowd, sliding into the ring, blasting Flair with the GTS behind the referee's back! Tully then sprinted toward Punk, who leapt into the crowd and got away again as Bret turned Flair over, covering! 1.... 2.... 3! "Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner, Bret "Hitman" Hart!" Bret Hart just literally won two in a row, and CM Punk screwed the Four Horsemen for the third time tonight, Bret celebrating his victory, his second hard fought match, back to back, and he was advancing to the semi finals. Flair rolled out of the ring as Tully and The Andersons caught up with him, Flair was seething with rage, screaming out for Punk's ass, as the Hitman was up two, heading into the semi finals with a ton of momentum.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is a quarterfinal matchup scheduled for one fall!" (Play Del Rio) "My name, my name is Alberto Del Rio, and I beat Vader twice! But you already knew that! Fear not, there is no damage to me after that vicious assault by that fat bastard Vader, and Senor, let me tell you something right now, Bobby Heenan is on the phone with my attorneys, you will be hearing from my lawyers, because what you did to Ricardo was an unprovoked assault, and what you did to me after the bell rang was uncalled for and illegal! But on to my next opponent! No matter who you are, just remember that you will be defeated by the greatest wrestler of all time! Me! Alberto Del Rio!" (Play Mr. Perfect) Ohhhh yeah! Del Rio opened his mouth again, and the tournament scramblings drew Del Rio and Mr. Perfect together in the quarter finals, as Del Rio was infuriated, screaming at the referee, when Mr. Perfect came from behind and wrapped Del Rio's face in the towel, the bell ringing! Perfect just beat the hell out of Del Rio as he sent him out of the corner with a hip toss. Perfect grabbed the towel and wiped his ass with it, then threw it behind his back at Del Rio's face! Del Rio charged forward, but Perfect sidestepped him, sending him into the turnbuckles, grabbing the tights and hitting a school boy! 1.... 2.... 3NO, Del Rio almost lost it right there, as he sprang up to his feet, getting caught in the face with a dropkick! He scrambled up to the corner where Perfect was waiting for him, coming in, but Del Rio jabbed a thumb into the eye, going to the top rope. Perfect got his sight back about him and dropkicked Del Rio's knee out from under him, causing him to crotch the corner! Perfect sent forth a right hand that rocked Del Rio on the corner, Perfect coming up there to meet him, hooking him up for a superplex. He lifted off, drilling down with the superplex with such impact that Del Rio rolled to the outside of the ring! Perfect walked over, but the referee pushed him back, laying the count on Del Rio. He got back to the apron, Perfect sending a right hand, but Del Rio caught it and snapped his arm over the top rope, getting back into the ring. He grabbed Perfect's left arm and brought his knees up, crashing the elbow into the knees. Del Rio was now in control as he hammered down on the left arm and shoulder, locking in an arm wringer, hammering away on the shoulder and elbow. Perfect grabbed onto the top rope with his other hand, performing a backflip and landing on his feet, breaking the wristlock! Perfect came back around and hooked Del Rio for a suplex, but dropped him chest first onto the rope, hanging him out to dry. Del Rio was certainly incapacitated, Mr. Perfect hooking him up, hitting the Perfect-Plex! 1.... 2.... 3! "Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner, Mr. Perfect!" Mr. Perfect, by more crook than hook, just avenged his defeat to Alberto Del Rio, beating him in the quarterfinals of G1. So far, Bret Hart and Mr. Perfect were locked into the brackets for the semi finals, as Del Rio screamed at the referee that he kicked him low, but the ref obviously couldn't call what he couldn't see, as Mr. Perfect just got one up on Del Rio, proving that once again, the Perfect wrestler is always thinking, and is always one step ahead of the competition.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is a quarterfinal matchup scheduled for one fall!" (Play Chono) Masahiro Chono, certainly the freshest competitor of G1 thusfar, awaited his opponent. What if it was Keiji? What would happen then. Only time would tell as Chono waited for his opponent... (Play CM Punk) These two were certainly no strangers to each other, as Chono and Punk circled each other, Chono backing Punk into the corner, charging in, but Punk was able to slide out from the corner, Chono missing his mark, as he turned around at Punk, who was devious inside that ring. They locked up, Chono pushing Punk back to the corner easily, as the referee ordered the break, but got none from either man, as Punk started to ascend the ropes, actually walking the top rope, jumping over Chono, getting behind him, as they broke off, staring at each other. Chono looked back at the top rope, then at Punk and gave him a little smirk, circling back aroung him, Punk keeping cautious. They locked up, Chono again pushing Punk to the corner, but this time, breaking off cleanly, but Punk slapped him in the face! Chono started seething with rage as Punk left the ring, Chono giving chase! Punk rolled back up to his feet, taking a Yakuza Kick straight in the face, knocking him out of the ring! Punk got back to his feet and was blasted out of nowhere with Gotoh's staff, the referee calling for the bell! What the hell was Gotoh hitting Punk for? "Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this match as a result of a disqualification... CM Punk!" Chono threw the referee out of the ring and sprinted up the ramp, chasing after Gotoh! Gotoh just cost Chono his spot in G1, and Chono was none too happy about it, as Punk got back into the ring, wondering what the hell that was all about, when he turned around into a AA Spinebuster! Arn Anderson got retribution for earlier tonight, CM Punk was definitely feeling the pain for sure, as the rest of the Horsemen came out to bring Arn back to the backstage area, high fiving all the way around, as Punk just glared on angrily, he got another win under his belt, but he was feeling the worse for the wear right now, our final quarterfinal match about to get underway.
"Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final quarterfinal matchup scheduled for one fall!" (Play Misawa) (Play Mutoh) Oh wow, Keiji Mutoh vs. Mitsuharu Misawa, this was going to be a wrestling clinic as the bell sounded, and we were off and running, Misawa and Mutoh meeting face to face. "You know the last time these two wrestled, Misawa was undefeated, and Keiji was the first guy to almost beat him legitimately, Jesse." "I'll tell you this right now, Monsoon, I don't even want to try and predict a winner, I just want to sit back and enjoy this, Misawa and Mutoh are gonna put on one hell of a match here." They locked up in the center of the ring, both men jocking for position, neither man getting an advantage as they broke off, circling each other, Misawa calling for a test of strength, which Keiji easily obliged. They broke off again, these two were dead even in almost every way, the two men locking up one last time, Mutoh quickly switching behind and hitting a snap back suplex, dropping Misawa on the back of his head. Misawa sprang up to his feet, looking at Keiji, before coming out of the corner. Keiji sat in the corner, waiting for Misawa to rise, coming with the Shining Wizard, but Misawa caught his feet and crossed them, quickly locking in a Texas cloverleaf, or so we thought. Instead of turning him over, Misawa slingshotted Keiji from the cloverleaf position, Mutoh smacking the top turnbuckle face first! Misawa got back up and delivered a release German suplex, dropping Mutoh on the back of his neck, covering! 1.... 2.... no, Keiji still kicked out. He quickly grabbed a hold of the head and hit the bulldog in the center of the ring, covering! 1.... 2.... no, Misawa still kicked out of it, as the fans began to boo, as The Great Koji started to come down to the ring! He didn't get far as Chono came from behind, nailing him in the back with the ball bat, keeping Koji away from the ring! Chono battled Koji all the way back as Mutoh turned around, into the Emerald Flowsion, but he still fought out of it somehow! Keiji kicked at Misawa's knee with a dropkick, running off the ropes, coming for the Shining Wizard for the third time, but Misawa rose up and launched Mutoh up into the air, Mutoh catching his balance on the top rope, jumping and turning in mid air, nailing the Shining Wizard off the top rope, catching Misawa square in the face, quickly hooking the legs! 1.... 2.... 3! "Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner, Keiji Mutoh!" What an outstanding fast paced matchup, Mutoh became only the third man in NWA history to defeat the legendary Mitsuharu Misawa, with some quick thinking, he advanced into the final four of Block B, as Misawa stood up on his feet and shook the hand of Mutoh, a great deal of mutual respect being shown between the guys right there, as we cut back to ringside. "We're down to four, Ventura!" "Yes we are, Keiji Mutoh now joins CM Punk, Mr. Perfect, and Bret the Hitman Hart! This is shaping up to be one of the greatest G1 tournaments I've ever been a part of!" "Absolutely it is, right now though, let's take you to Todd Grisham who's in the back with one Cody Rhodes!" "Thank you Gorilla, I'm standing here with Cody Rhodes, and Cody-" "What you saw out there was bull****! I didn't get a fair shake out there, Alberto Del Rio got cheated in the first round, you all saw it plain as day!" "Hey, Rhodes, you see that pendejo Bischoff around here? You're the tag team champions, I'm the United States Champion, we don't deserve this kind of treatment!" "You guys are absolutely right!" "I know we're right, Bobby!" "This is an absolute travesty! This is an, it's an, a-a-a-a-an enrage!" "Don't you mean an outrage, Heenan?" "Get off my case you stupid Humanoid! I swear, I will get to the bottom of this, I can guarantee..." "Well Jesse Ventura, it looks like the Million Dollar Family isn't too pleased with how this night's turned out!" "Well, I can't exactly blame them, you know Cody Rhodes did NOT get a fair shake out there, and Alberto Del Rio did get placed with that vicious animal Vader, Bobby Heenan has every right to be upset." "Well, let's not waste any more time, we've got two more matches tonight, so let's take you down to the final two matches!"

Muta barely kicked out, sticking his fingers in his throat as Bret backed off, knowing that Muta was about to spit mist. Muta was pissed off to say the least, but he turned around and spat the green mist over the post, almost firing that straight at Bret's face, but Muta cooled down for a little while. Muta turned around to see Bret charging at him, but Muta irish whipped him to the other corner, Bret reversing him, but Muta reversed him back, sending Bret sternum first into the corner! Bret hit the mat hard as Muta covered him. 1.... 2.... no, Bret kicked out, Muta really taking the wind out of him the replays showing it again. Muta got back to his feet, waiting for Bret to rise, going for a standing frankensteiner, but Bret caught his legs and crossed them, Muta falling right into a Sharpshooter! He quickly grabbed the ropes and pulled himself underneath, sliding out of the ring and onto the apron, grabbing Bret from behind and snapping his neck back on the top rope. Muta ran the apron and climbed the top rope, leaping with the damndest missile dropkick in existence, square in the mouth of the Hitman, covering! 1.... 2.... no! Bret still kicked out of it but barely, Muta climbing up to the top rope again, waiting for Bret to rise. "These two are pulling out all the stops here, there's no telling who's going to stop at this point!" "I'm being told right now that we have ten minutes left in the matchup!" "One of these guys needs to put the other away!" Muta sprang to his feet and leveled Bret with a German suplex, rising up and bridging backwards, holding him down! 1.... 2.... NO! Damn it, Bret kicked out again as Muta rose to the top rope, waiting for him to rise as Bret got up and turned around, catching Muta on top, going up there to meet him! Bret hooked him up for a superplex, but Muta shifted his weight at the last second, landing back on the top turnbuckle, nailing Bret in the face with a headbutt, then leaping over with a super sunset flip powerbomb, drilling Bret into the canvas, hooking the legs! 1.... 2.... NO! Bret still managed to kicked out of it somehow, as Muta wasn't slowing down at all, going BACK to the top rope! It was working, so why stop now? Bret got back up and Muta leapt, Bret sending a right hand right into the midsection, bending Muta over, Bret hitting a russian leg sweep, covering! 1.... 2.... no! Muta fired his shoulder off the canvas, but Bret picked him right back up and drilled him headfirst with a piledriver! Bret went for the cover again. 1.... 2.... no! Muta kicked out AGAIN! Bret got back to his feet, picking Muta up and dropping him with a backbreaker, electing not to go for the cover. He rose to the second rope, going for the elbow, but Muta stuck his foot out at the last second, blasting Bret dead between the eyes, rolling over for the cover! 1.... 2.... no! Jesus Christ, this match was still going as fast as it was, as Muta got up and waited in the corner, Bret rising to a knee, Muta charging forward and nailing Bret with the Shining Wizard, it was over and done! Muta hooked the leg, he was going to the finals! 1.... 2.... no, Bret's free leg hit the bottom rope, excellent ring presence by the Hitman! Dear God, the fans were getting exhausted, the face paint completely gone from Muta's face, as Muta still had more tricks up his sleeve, grabbing Bret's legs, but Bret came alive, kicking Muta off, rolling to his stomach. Muta jumped over him, Bret going for a leapfrog, but Muta grabbed him and placed him on his shoulders, going for a death valley driver, but Bret countered into a crucifix pin! 1.... 2.... NO! There must've been 100 near falls in this match already, and it was still going! There had to be a winner soon, or the time would run out! Muta sent Bret into the corner hard, going for the cartwheel elbow, but Bret moved, Muta hitting the corner hard, as Bret hit the backbreaker again, then went to the second rope, connecting with the elbow to Muta's face, covering! 1.... 2.... NO! Damn it, what was it going to take? Bret wasn't discouraged at all as he went to the top rope, this wasn't a good idea as Muta got back to his feet and caught Bret up there, leaping off with a super hurricanranna, drilling Bret into the canvas, covering! 1.... 2.... NO! Son of a bitch, this was getting out of control! Muta got back to his feet and couldn't believe it, but went back up to the ropes, leaping off with the moonsault, but Bret rolled out of the way, Muta crashing and burning as Bret rolled over, hooking both legs! 1.... 2.... NO! Muta still kicked out of it, as this match was nearing the time limit! Bret picked Muta up and got a face full of green mist! Muta pulled it out after all, going to the top rope, waiting for Bret to rise, as he leapt off with a missile dropkick, but Bret stepped back and caught his legs, crossing them for the Sharpshooter, but Muta grabbed his hair and pulled him into a small package! 1.... 2.... Bret shifted his weight and pushed Muta's shoulders down! 1.... 2.... 3! "Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner, Bret "Hitman" Hart!" Holy shit, what a contest! What a main event to cap off the night as Bret Hart, green face and all, was able to pull it off in the end, not against Keiji Mutoh, but against The Great Muta, as Bret The Hitman Hart was going to the finals of Block B! The fans rose to their feet in mutual admiration of both men, as Muta rose up to his feet, in utter disbelief, he came SO CLOSE last year, and he was JUST as close this year, if not a little bit closer to making it to all the way, but he was stopped by the Excellence of Execution, Bret the Hitman Hart. Bret got back to his feet and Muta called him over, shaking his hand and embracing him in the center of the ring before leaving to allow the victor to have his moment, but Bret wouldn't be able to rest easy, as the show faded to black, Bret Hart would have two more hard fought matches to win if he wanted to call himself Mr. G1.
