"Over 35,000 have all cramed themselves here in Panama, such an explosive event we have for you tonight. The Rules have changed as you can see the Ring especially has changed with black and white ropes, the vertical white turnbuckles and the canvas now grey representing the NWO, Jess I know we say this every month but tonight, the Rules May Have Changed but the prize remains the same."
"You know Uncensored had blood and guts and the destruction of what was once normal and look what we came to tonight. Gone are the colors of the NWA as the NWO have taken over, we may not be in Japan but it certainly feels like we never left. I don't know about you Gorilla but tonight, the World Title is in the most trouble that it has ever been."
"Not only the World Title but also the Cruiserweight Title, The Women's Title and The United States Championships are up for grabs as they still remain in camp NWA though Inoki looks to change that."
"Absolutely and as much as I would normally give the advantage to the challengers I think tonight, with everything on the line during this counter strike, Team NWA just might be in Jeopardy."
"The festivities are over and done, lets take you to ringside with Justin Roberts."
"Ladies and Gentleman this contest scheduled for one fall is for the NWA Women's Championship. Coming down the aisle, from Masuda Shimane Japan, The Challenger, Representing the NWO, she is the self Proclaimed Queen of Queens, Manami Toyota. Her opponent, from Buffalo New York, representing the NWA she is the reigning NWA Women's Champion, Beth Phoenix."
The bell would sound as both these girls met in the center of the ring. Beth not afraid of her knowing she had the strength, technique was going to be tricky as both women locked up. Manami quickly locked her in a headlock as Beth pushed her off, dropping to the mat as Manami came over, bouncing off the rope as Phoenix tried a hiptoss though was taken down with a headlock takedown in the process. She rose and was nailed with a dropkick, a single leg dropkick then a double rising knee to the jaw as Manami dropped her with a hard spin kick across the head knocking Beth to the corner. She would ram her shoulders into her ribs then started kicking to her ribs, pulling Beth out and went for a suplex though Beth's power was too much as she countered by literally tossing from the suplex.
Manami landed on her feet and caught Phoenix with an armdrag quickly locking in a headscissor/cross arm breaker combo and wrenched it in. Phoenix wouldn't last long as she used her other arm to break out, rising up as Toyota got her with headscissor bulldog locking in an inverted mexican surfboard as all she had to do was hold on to the bridge. Phoenix would yell out some as the hold broke, Toytoa kicking to her ribs and locked her in a front face lock, bashing to her face with her knees and was able to land a double underhook suplex, seeming to know about leverage as well.
Manami rose up and poised, coming at Beth with a running big boot though it was countered right into a capture Rydeen Buster, Toyota quickly rolling to the floor. Phoenix would make chase and pulled her up by the hair, bodyslamming her upon the floor then tossed her into the ring, hitting her with two big time suplexes and tossed her hard to the rope, tossing her up in the air and watched her smack the canvas face first chaining right into a double underhook whirling sitout powerbomb, making sure it hurt. She dragged her up and bashed her in the face with her forearms right to the corner and placed her on top.
Manami fought back with some hard shots to the head, knocking her down then blasted her in the face with both of her heels, leaping and connected with a dropsault right to the chest, Phonex being knocked back to the ropes as Manami ran with a sunset flip over her right into an inverted gullotine neckbreaker. She landed on her feet on the floor and rolled back inside, dropping Beth with a snapping spinning neckbreaker and quickly locked in the buffalo sleeper. Phoenix was able to get her foot on the rope as Toyota dragged her up and forceably slammed the back of her head into the mat. She came off the rope with a cartwheel legdrop right over the throat then baseball slid into her ribs, knocking her to the floor.
Manami moved to the top rope and would leap with a cross body though Phoenix caught her and turned it right into a Blackhole Slam right upon the floor. She rose up looking almost upset as she tossed her back into the ring, rubbing her neck some and caught her with two strong clotheslines then a gorilla press, tossing her right into the turnbuckle forcing her to lay over it and climbed up, dropping the poor girl with a super samoan drop, crashing right in the middle of the ring. Phoenix got to her feet and dragged Toyota up and locked her in a hangmans chokehold having her sprawled over her back. Manami would flail some until Beth chained it right into a KingKong Buster slamming her face first to the mat.
Phoenix grinned as she made it to her feet, dragging her up and rose her up with a chokehold, strangling her then tossed her to the rope, watching her come up and picked her up right into a torture rack starting to bounce up and down. She would let her drop and called her up, picking her up for a suplex, stalling as she held her with one palm though Toyota was able to counter it right into a snap DDT, nearly breaking Phoenix's neck.
She rose up and rubbed her back, pulling Phoenix to her feet and locked her in a double underhook and would sunset flip, doing the unthinkable double underhook sunsetflip powerbomb, the impact alone was insane as Toyota went for the cover, but only for two. She didn't seem to mind as she rose her up and chopped to her chest to the corner then kicked to the ribs. She slowly pulled her from the corner and bodyslammed her down, coming off the rope with a flying knee lariat and caught her right in the face. She waited and caught Phoenix with a fisherman suplex only for two. She wasn't detered and locked in a sleeper to keep the pressure on as Beth rose to her feet.
Manami tried scissoring the legs but she was rammed into the corner as the hold broke, Beth turning around and took a hard boot to the face as she stumbled back, Manami leaping from the middle rope but was caught in midair and dropped with a fallaway slam. She rose to her feet and waited for the right moment, coming in for a clothesline though Toyota dropped her with a toe hold chaining right into an STF. She would wrench upon her the best she could until Beth again rose to her feet and dropped her with a drop stunner, nearly knocking her out.
Beth pulled herself up and slowly made her way towards Toyota whom sprang to her feet and caught her with a vicious knee to the jaw then dropped her with a snapsuplex then an armdrag, wrapping her legs around into a cross arm breaker. Beth would eventually break out, taking hard kicks to her sides as she caught one of the legs, taking a kick to the back of her head and dropped down to her knees. Manami came off the rope with a women's style yakuza kick, nearly kicking her head off and covered, for two. She rose up and grabbed her by the hair, dropping her with a Falcon Arrow and moved to the top rope, crossing her throat with her thumb and leapt, catching Beth with a Dragonrana and covered...for two.
She would scissor her legs around Beth's waist, slowly starting to roll around the ring now to disorient her then locked in the reverse chin lock, sticking to her submission game. Beth woud slowly start to part her thighs apart, rising to her feet and turned but was blasted over the side of the face by a kick, coming off the rope as Manami picked her up upon her shoulders and dropped her with a Yebiseu Drop, covering.........for two.
Manami rose up and thought for a minute, getting behind her and tried for the Ocean Suplex, hammerlocking the arms behind and would connect with a bridge....for two. That was a bit stunning as she tossed Beth to the corner, watching her bounce off and picked her up, dropping her down with a brainbuster, covering.......for two. She kept her cool and made it to her feet, watching Beth stagger to her feet and caught her with a standing dropkick to the rope, catching her right into a wrist clutch burning hammer, rolling to her feet and hit the top rope, leaping with a picture perfect moonsault, covering........for two.
That was a bit of a surprise as she pulled Beth to her feet, jabbing at her with hard forearms, knocking her to the corner and would place her on top, slugging to her head and went for a suplerplex though Beth blocked, picking her up and dropped her with a super canadian suplex, Manami splashing face first upon the mat. An angry Phoenix rose to her feet, pulling Manami up whom racked at her eye and tossed her to the floor, thinking that was a good idea as she came off the rope and saulted with a no handed plauncha, landing on Beth whom held on, picking her up and came down with a sitout powerbomb nearly breaking her in half.
Beth would rise and tossed her into the ring, climbing upon the apron and waited, doing something risky as she came off with a springboard shoulder tackle, Manami quickly countering that right into a snap DDT, nearly breaking her neck. Manami rose up as the tides turned again, signaling this was going to be the end of the game for sure, waiting for the right moment and would come off the rope and caught Beth with the Manami Roll, rising to her feet and was ready for the Coupe De Gras, picking her up right into the Japanese Ocean Queen Bee Bomb, covering Beth......for two!
Holy crap Phoenix kicked out of that as Manami would grit her teeth a bit, dragging her up by the hair and slammed her face first into the corner and began to place her on top. She would climb behind her and locked in a sleeper though Beth would counter by literally falling back, splashing down upon Toyota on the mat. The tides turned again as Phoenix rose to her feet, ducking a kick and pounced her with a thez press, smashing her head into the mat and rose, finding her footing and caught her with a release exploder suplex. She rose up and grabbed Manami from behind, placing her upon her shoulders in the electric chair position and started to spin, eventually dropping her with the King Kong Buster, Manami holding her face as she moved back to her feet and was rammed to the corner.
Beth would punch to her head and set her on top, taking a look back and knew what she was going to attempt to do, rising up and locked the arms, looking for a super overhook suplex though Manami was able to counter right into an Avalanche Yoshi Tonic, splashing the mat hard and covered......for two! Manami looked frustrated now, arguing with the ref that it was a three as she rose up, swinging hard with a fist as Beth quickly ducked and countered right into the GlamSlam and that seemed to take all of her energy.
Slowly both women rose to their feet, Manami striking first with a kick to the gut, coming off the rope with a spinning neck breaker, taking her down and locked in the sleeper, wanting to keep the pressure on. Beth was starting to fade a little bit as her arm would drop a few times and her head would dip down. The ref would check her arm but Beth would shake it off, starting to rise to her feet though Toyota would toss her to the corner, watching her smack off and picked her up for the Japanese Ocean Cyclone Suplex though Beth slid out, picking up Toyota and landed her with the GlamSlam covering quickly..........for two?
Phoenix looked at the ref in question, that was a first as she looked at Toyota whom was already starting to stir. She picked her up again for the GlamSlam though she used her heels and kicked to her gut to break free, hitting the rope and came at her with a leg lariat right to the face, knocking her to the corner. Toyota caught her with a cartwheel back elbow then a bulldog, seeming to have this now locked in, kicking hard to the side of her head, grappling from behind and rose her up for an inverted Fisherman Buster though Beth would flip back and landed on her feet, quickly grabbing Toyota from behind and dropped her with the GlamSlam, rolling her over for the cover........for three.
"Ladies and Gentleman here is your winning and STILL NWA Women's Champion, Beth, Phoenix."
It took a while though the Glamazon still reigned supreme it the women's division. She had to give the devil her due though and Toyota gave her one hell of a fight though in the end Phoenix was able to rise above and take her down in the final moments. She would leave ringside and rubbed her jaw some, not even looking back at her opponent whom lay flat in the middle of the ring, Beth raising her title up on the way back up the ramp and stepped through the curtain.
"Ladies and Gentleman this contest scheduled for one fall is for the NWA Cruiserweight Championship."

"Ladies and Gentleman this contest scheduled for one fall is a triple threat for the NWA Cruiserweight Championship. Standing to my immediate left the challenger, from Japan, weighing in at 250 lbs, making his cruiserweight debut..The Great Koji. Standing over to my left the other challenger, from Japan, weighing in at 180 lbs, with a win loss record of 32 Wins, 3 Loses and 8 by submission, Ultimo Dragon. And standing over to my right, from South Africa, weighin in at 223 lbs with a win loss record of 17 Wins, 0 Loses and 10 Knock Outs, he is the defending Cruiserweight Champion, Justin Gabriel."
The bell would sound and immediately Gorilla was pointing out the fact that Koji was way too be to even be involved in this match, the cut off was 230 and Koji was twenty pounds overweight, though the ref was given instructions as the match went underway. Gabriel was backed in a corner here as this was OBVIOUSLY a handicap match, Dragon kept looking over to Koji whom looked ready to pounce at any moment, Gabriel keeping on his guard trying to think of strategy. Koji came at him with a kick as Gabriel dodged and tackled him down, hitting Dragon in the gut and sprang up, quickly hitting a snap suplex, then drop kicked Koji down, then a dropkick to Dragon, then another to Koji then another to Dragon, coming off the rope. They would try a double hip toss though Gabriel would smack into the rope and flipped back, dragging Koji and Dragon down on the rebound, coming off the rope and caught both of them with leg lariats and sent them to the floor.
Gabriel came off the rope and leapt with a summersault plauncha, crashing below upon both of them. He rose and tossed Dragon into the ring, starting to kick at him along the back and legs, which didn't seem to go over well as Dragon started to fight back as well with kicks of his own. Gabriel and Dragon would exchange kicks, screw the chops, this was blantant kicking to the legs, ribs, arm, anywhere they could taking turns waiting to see whom would blink first. Gabriel and Dragon each hit ten hard kicks as they would now hit each others shins at the same time, then again, and again, and again, and again, hitting each other over and over again as they finally broke away, each of them rubbing their shins in pain as the crowd would clap.
They met in the center of the ring, Gabriel talking trash as Dragon decked him in the face and locked in a side headlock though was pushed off as Dragon did a handstand rope back elbow, Gabriel catching him and flung him with a german suplex right into Koji whom tried to get back ito the ring. Gabriel grabbed the arm and would wrench on it a few times until Dragon would counter it with an arm wrench himself. Gabriel would move around the mat with acrobatic moves and countered it right back as Dragon would do the same but was able to break the hold by hitting the rope and caught Gabriel with a spinning head scissor.
Dragon rushed in and caught him with a spinning wheel kick, coming off the rope springboarding with a legdrop though Gabriel caught the legs and would sling shot him to the ropes, watching him fall over the rope to the floor. He had little to celebrate over as Koji leapt off the rope with a dropsault, catching Gabriel right in the chest and knocked him to the ropes. Koji rolled to his feet and caught him with a snapmare then a hammerlock slam, quickly locking in a triangle choke. Gabriel kicked with his feet a bit and would twist his body a bit, able to weasle his way out and dropped Koji with an armdrag then a stiff kick to the jaw knocking him to the corner.
Gabriel would start to kick at his ribs and head, hitting the middle rope and punched over his head then quickly jumped off and caught Dragon with a cross body, rolling to his feet. Dragon came at him as Gabriel locked up with him, Dragon tossing him to the corner right towards Koji whom held his foot up. Gabriel slid under him right to the floor, grabbing Koji's ankles and pulled him back, slamming him crotch first into the post then rolled back into the ring, dodging a kick from Dragon and kicked him in the back of the head and quickly dropped him with a back suplex, going for the cover...for two.
Gabriel knew he couldn't waist time, pulling Dragon up but was struck in the throat with a chop then hit the corner as Dragon did a cartwheel back elbow and connected, coming off the rope and got Gabriel with a reverse tornado DDT. Dragon rose to his feet and picked Gabriel up for a whirling torture rack backdrop then a snapmare with a hard kick to the spine. Dragon went for a sleeper though Gabriel quickly grabbed a hold of his head and planted from a seated position three hard kicks to his head. He sprang up and charged in with a roundhouse kick, missing as Dragon got him with a knee to the jaw then quickly a hurricanrana, covering..for two.
Dragon would wrench at the arm and kicked to his chest a few times, doing some acrobatics and springboarded off the rope though Gabriel somehow was able to jump and caught him in midair with a kick to the chest, rolling to his feet and clotheslined Dragon hard out of the ring and would skin the cat back inside. On the way in he caught Koji by the head and would head scissor him face first into the buckle. Gabriel moved quickly and tried to set him up but was hit with a back elbow to the face, Koji coming off the rope with a corkscrew dropkick right to his face. Koji came at him and rammed his knee right into his face then moonsaulted off the rope, covering for two.
Koji didn't mind as he would grab a hold of Gabriel and rammed his knee into his face a few more times, locking him in a butterfly lock. Gabriel would growl a bit, trying to reach the rope with his foot, eventually getting it as Koji let go, only to drag him up and spiked him with a pile driver. He came off the rope and would drop a few knees over his face then turned him over on his belly, rubbing his face into the canvas before picking him up, dropping him with a dangerous double underhook powerbomb, Gabriel landing badly on his neck and was covered...for two.
Koji would drag him up, tossing him hard to the corner and splashed him, slowly placing him on top and climbed up, hitting over his head and went for a superplex though Gabriel was able to block, starting to fight back and countered with a Super Falcon Arrow from the top rope, splashing down hard. Gabriel was the first one up as Koji staggered holding his face and dropped with a Fameasser right to the mat, Gabriel rising up and took a vicious cresent kick to the face from Dragon whom was back in action, taking him down with a dragonscrew, a mandara twist, a shin breaker, a knee breaker then flapjack right upon the knee.
Dragon pulled him up and placed him in the corner, placing his leg over the rope and started to kick firmly at it, Gabriel trying to fight back though with one punch he was dropped with an armwrench takedown then hit with a spinkick right to the face. Gabriel sat in the corner a bit stunned as Dragon came off the far end and nearly dropkicked his head off, dragging Gabriel to the middle of the ring and covered...for two. Tough he was as both of them pulled Gabriel to his feet, tossing him to the rope and missed the double elbow as Gabriel came in with a flying double clothesline, Gabriel rising to his feet and kicked Dragon hard to the corner, grabbing Koji and tossed him as he crashed into Dragon, taking Koji down with a back suplex then caught Dragon with a suplex, having him crash onto Koji.
Gabriel lined up his shot and got Dragon right in the jaw, pulling Koji up whom quickly countered with a mongolian chop to the throat, coming off the rope with a spinning shoulder block right to his face. Koji pushed himself up and went for a buzzsaw kick though Gabriel ducked and caught him from behind and quickly applied a Tiger Back Suplex, covering......no Dragon broke the count with a bodysplash, the ref counting again.......no Gabriel kicked out.
Dragon would pull him up, wrenching on the arm and kicked to the chest and the back of the knee, dropping Gabriel down to his knee and kicked to his back then one hard shot to the face, moving to the top rope and leapt with a moonsault though Gabriel rolled out of the way. Dragon landing on his feet and came in, Gabriel able to pick him up by the waist and came down with a Rydeen Buster, rolling back and was hit hard in the back of the head with a devastating kick from Koji, watching him bounce off the rope groggy as he picked Gabriel up and came down with the TTD, nearly breaking Gabriel's neck as he covered.......for two.
That was very close as Koji slammed him hard to the corner, kicking to his ribs and slugged over his head, placing him on top and would headbutt him, trying for this again as this time he dropped him with a superplex, straddling him and started to punch at his face until Gabriel blocked and dragged him down right into a modified version of an armbar, locking it in tightly. Gabriel locked it in as Koji was unable to power out due to the leverage. Gabriel had to let go as he saw Dragon rise and make a move, sweeping at the leg and went back to Koji whom would sweep him down and quickly applied the Koji Clutch.
Gabriel was stuck as he tried to fight out but he only had one arm free and that wasn't even close, nearly dropping a few times but heard the crowd get behind him as he refused to give in no matter how tight the clutch may have been applied. Gabriel would struggle and used his legs the best he could and started to make his way towards the rope painfully slow, his foot just reaching the rope as the hold would break. Koji was a bit pissed as he released and kicked him hard to the ribs as Gabriel struggled to his feet. He charged in but was backbody dropped to the floor, Gabriel catching his footing but was then locked into a Dragon Sleepr.
Gabriel was trapped in this one as Dragon was a master of this hold and Gabriel knew it as he was bent backward in this lock. Dragon would sway a bit to keep the pressure on and kept Gabriel off his game as his arm would dangle a few times. The ref would check but Gabriel refused again to to give up, having to keep out of these submissions at all cost, grabbing a hold of Dragon's arm and kicked up a few times with his foot and connected hard to the skull as the hold broke.
He caught his balance and dropped Dragon with a fireman's carry, coming off the rope and caught him with an awkward wheel kick, moving to the top rope and would poise himself, leaping for the 450 as Koji grabbed Dragon by the leg and dragged him out of the way as Gabriel hit the mat hard. Koji came off the rope with the Hyper Knee Cougar right to the face, picking him up and dropped him with the CCD, landing that painfully on Gabriel's neck. Dragon entered the ring as Koji placed Gabriel on his shoulders as Dragon climbed the rope, leaping with a dropsault though Gabriel ducked and tossed Koji with a victory roll toss right into the buckle as Dragon crashed and burned, Gabriel poising and connected with the Goodnyte right upon Koji, moving over to Dragon and quickly applied the CobraLock or in this case Purgatory and dropped him down.
Gabriel had it locked in tightly and no one had every broken out of this hold as Dragon struggled to get free but Gabriel wouldn't let go for all the money in the world. The fans went nuts as Dragon was unable to get out of this hold and his hand dropped to the mat. The ref would check his arm a few times but Dragon started to get more blood flowing through his body, trying to twist his body and at least get to his feet though it wasn't working due to Gabriel scissoring the legs. Dragon was starting to fade again though Koji was able to hit Gabriel over the head and forced him to break the hold.
Koji was in control now as Dragon coughed to get some air back in his lungs. Koji would pick him up and slammed him to the corner, ramming his shoulders into his ribs until Gabriel countered with a hard knee to his face, hitting the middle rope and leapt with a quick saulting back elbow, rising to his feet and slammed Koji down with a Key Clasher slam but was unable to hold the pin for long as he rose up, preparing for another strike when he was kicked in the gut and slammed down with an Asai DDT, Dragon going for the cover.........No Koji.....pulled Dragon off and covered Gabriel......no...Dragon pulled Koji off as they would go face to face.
They would exchange words as Koji pushed Dragon then Dragon pushed him back as Koji would then forceably push Dragon down to the mat, yelling at him to 'know his place as he went back to Gabriel, picking him up and tossed him to the rope, aiming for a thrust kick but missed as Gabriel slid under him and got him with a leaping hurricanrana, rising up and caught Dragon's foot and dropped him with a mule kick. He turned around and saw Koji come at him, dropping him with a backbody drop, charging in though both Dragon and Koji dropped him with a double team spine buster, both of them would scramble for the pin as Koji pushed him off then Dragon pushed him off, both men rising to their feet as Koji pushed him hard then Dragon struck back with a kick to the face.
He wasn't taking his crap anymore and the fans were actually starting to rally though Koji would start to fight back, picking Dragon up with a flapjack right into the corner then sprayed him with yellow/orange mist right in the face, picking him up and would drop him with the CCD, yelling at him a bit almost. He would turn around and picked up Gabriel and slammed him down with a big time bodyslam, crossing this throat to end this fight as he would move him to the corner and placed him on top, punching to his head though Gabriel caught his balance, starting to fight back though lost his balance and would crotch the buckle, Koji now trying to finish this officialy. He went to suplex him though he was hit in the back by Ultimo Dragon whom pulled him off and dropped him with an electric chair.
Dragon rose up with Koji but took a hard kick to the face getting knocked to the corner. Koji would charge in but was blasted in the face with Blue Mist, blinding him and was able to hit him with the Asai DDT, covering Koji........just when the ref went to hit three Gabriel leapt with the 450, crashing on Koji as Dragon moved out of the way just in time, Gabriel rising up and took a hard kick to the gut, Dragon applying the Asai DDT and made sure to also land on Koji in the process, covering Gabriel...........for three.
"Ladies and Gentleman here is your winner and the NEW NWA Cruiserweight Champion, Ultimo Dragon."
This was quite bittersweet as Dragon finally captured the Cruiserweight Title but also it was in the hands of camp NWO as the replays showed the highlights of this incredible three way bout as Dragon left the ring with his title. Gabriel rising to his feet, limping a bit and heard the rally of fans behind him. 8 months he held that title proudly and brought something innovative and new to the division and actually made the Cruiserweight Title worth more than what Evan Bourne even did for it. He accepted the loss as he would raise his fist up in triumph and rolled out of the ring, taking off his elbow pads and tossed them into the crowd, mouthing to the camera that 'he would get it back', heading up the ramp.
"What a heartbreaker that was Jess, I hate to take anything away from Gabriel but it essentially was two on one here tonight and he put up one hell of a fight."
"You know I rarely say this about anyone but Gabriel has earned my respect and he has nothing to be ashamed of here tonight."
"The heart of a champion with or without the strap Jess, this won't be the last time we see Gabriel I promise you that."
Kevin Kelly was walking through the hallways, very nervously knocking on the NWO locker room door before slowly entering. "Uh, Mr. Inoki sir? I was wondering if I could have a word with you?"
"Ah yes, come in, what did you want to speak with me about?"
"Well, I was curious about your thoughts on the upcoming United States Championship Match, this seems to be the only title that you cannot capture from the NWA-" Inoki cut him off at the pass.
"Why don't you ask... that man?"
Kevin turned around and bumped into the Silent Assassin himself, Hirooki Gotoh. He only spoke three words: "Morrison... is... finished." Three words, but one hell of an awesome impact, for sure, as Kevin left the room quietly, not wanting to be another victim.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the NWA United States Championship!"
[Play out]
Morrison looked at his adversary as Gotoh was not one to be messed with, and he knew it. The bell rang and Morrison charged forward, Gotoh catching him with an arm drag. Morrison ran forward again and was taken over with another arm drag, Gotoh getting right back up to his feet, waiting for him to come back in again. They locked up in the center of the ring, trying to get the superior position over the other, and it was Gotoh who got it. He locked in a side headlock, wrenching down on it hard. Morrison tried to shoot him off the ropes, but Gotoh held on and slid to a knee, bringing Morrison down with him.
Morrison got back to his feet and delivered a couple right hands to try and break the headlock, but Gotoh held on strong. Morrison tried to lift him for a suplex, but Gotoh dropped forward and took him over with a headlock takedown, still holding onto it. Morrison couldn't get out of it as he inched his way to the rope, getting his foot on them, the ref breaking the hold. Gotoh got back up in the center of the ring as Morrison kneeled down, looking up at his opponent. Gotoh stood unmoving, like the guardian of a temple as Morrison tried to move in, Gotoh sprang forward like a snake, picking him up and driving him to the corner. He delivered shoulder block after shoulder block to Morrison, taking him out of the corner with a huge hip toss.
Morrison landed on his feet and went for a clothesline, missing as Gotoh ducked. He turned around into a beautiful standing dropkick from Gotoh, knocking him to the apron. Gotoh was unrelenting as he delivered a second standing dropkick straight into Morrison's face, taking him off the apron to the floor below. Gotoh came to the outside and picked Morrison up, suplexing him straight onto the floor before tossing him into the ring, covering for a two. He picked Morrison back up and fired him into the corner, coming in with a high impact clothesline, pulling him out and hitting a vertical exploder suplex out of the corner. Morrison was getting tossed around like a ragdoll, as he couldn't get in any offense.
Gotoh closed the distance and hooked him for the GoToh Heaven early, but Morrison went up and over and slid to the outside, trying to get some distance between the two of them. Gotoh left the ring as Morrison slid back inside quickly. Gotoh got back to the apron as Morrison dropkicked him in the face, but Gotoh still stood. He got back into the ring gingerly as Morrison hammered away with elbows to the face, rocking him to the corner. He attempted a monkey flip, but Gotoh held him and dumped him over the rope, Morrison landing on the apron. Morrison went for a roundhouse kick, but Gotoh caught his foot and capture suplexed him from the apron straight into the ring! The fans were impressed with that, even giving Gotoh a small ovation for the spectacular move as he covered quickly. 1.... 2.... no! Morrison barely got out of that.
Gotoh had the match completely in his grasp as he picked Morrison up and pushed him to the corner, setting him on the top rope. He then grabbed a hold of his leg and went to dragon screw it, but Morrison kicked off of him and leapt off the second rope with a flying back elbow, taking Gotoh down. Morrison hit a flying leg lariat, going for the cover, getting a two. Gotoh got back to his feet as Morrison was picking up the pace, sending him off the ropes. He attempted a clothesline, but Gotoh quickly hooked his arm and connected with a floatover DDT in one swift motion. He picked Morrison up and connected with a second DDT for good measure, covering. 1.... 2.... no! Morrison got a shoulder up again as Gotoh picked him back up, tossing him to the ropes. He launched Morrison high into the air who answered with a quick dropkick to rock Gotoh back.
Morrison charged forward, but Gotoh caught him with a spear takedown, grabbing a hold of his legs, quickly turning it into a Texas Cloverleaf. Morrison fought long and hard and was able to get back under Gotoh as he didn't know the submission too well, and Morrison kicked him off. Gotoh used the momentum to bounce off the ropes and come back with a rolling neck snap, ala Mr. Perfect. Morrison rolled to the outside, holding his neck, as Gotoh stood tall in the ring, not even breathing heavy as the match was almost all his.
"Morrison can't get in any offense, what do you make of this, Jesse?"
"Gotoh's a counter wrestler, no matter what you do, he's going to block it and turn it into something that can hurt you. I think we're going to see a new United States Champion here, Gorilla."
Gotoh reached over the ropes and grabbed Morrison by the hair, but Morrison countered with a pele kick to the side of Gotoh's face, rocking him back to the center of the ring, Gotoh falling to a seated position. Morrison got to the apron and springboarded off the top rope, hitting a dropkick straight into Gotoh's face, going for the cover. 1.... 2.... no! Gotoh kicked out of it as Morrison tried to get an offensive going. He bounced off the ropes and hit a standing shooting star, still only getting a two count. Gotoh got back to his feet as Morrison backed him into the corner, mounting him for a ten punch. Gotoh pushed him off, Morrison backflipping and landing on his feet. He went to charge in, but Gotoh ran forward and blasted Morrison dead between the eyes with a running boot, flipping him straight onto his front. He covered Morrison after that, 1.... 2.... no! Morrison was able to recover from that one somehow.
Gotoh again hooked him for the GoToh Heaven, but Morrison was able to counter into a quick arm drag, sending him out of the ring. Morrison flew from the other side with a corkscrew plancha, but Gotoh countered straight into a powerslam on the floor! Gotoh was in complete control as he picked Morrison up and dropped him throat first onto the railing, just keeping him down. He fired Morrison back into the ring and covered, still only getting a two count. Morrison was getting dominated as Gotoh grabbed one of his legs, trying to pick him up. Morrison leapt up to his feet and went for an enziguiri, but Gotoh caught his other foot, slingshotting him into the corner! Morrison used this and leapt up to the top rope, coming off with a quick moonsault, taking Gotoh down! 1.... 2.... no! Gotoh barely kicked out as Morrison flew off the ropes, leapfrogging over Gotoh, coming from the other side with a floatover arm drag.
Morrison was using his speed as he leveled Gotoh with a running dropkick, sending him to the corner. Morrison ran full speed ahead and this time hit the monkey flip before ascending the top rope again. He came off with a missile dropkick, connecting straight in the mouth, but Gotoh was already back on his feet, dizzy as all hell. Morrison came charging with a cross body block that took the two men up and over the top rope to the floor, Morrison landing on his feet. He sent Gotoh into the steps headfirst, then tossed him back inside, finally getting in some offense. He picked Gotoh up and lifted him for a suplex, but Gotoh went up and over and locked Morrison's arms, going to Glam Slam him, but Gotoh fell forward with it, dropping Morrison with a double chickenwing facebuster!
Both men lay on the canvas as Gotoh got to a seated position first, pulling himself up in the corner groggily. Gotoh got back to his feet and picked Morrison up, who was completely out of it. He crossed his throat with his thumb, signalling for the Shouten, as he loaded Morrison up for it, but Morrison went up and over, rolling him up in a school boy! 1.... 2.... no! Gotoh kicked out of it and blasted Morrison in the side of the head as he was getting up, sending him back to the floor. Gotoh was the dominant force in this match, it was almost all him since the opening bell. He picked Morrison up and blasted him face first into the apron and delivered a reverse knife edge. Morrison answered this with a roundhouse kick that somehow, DIDN'T knock Gotoh down as he bounced off the apron, going for the Flying Chuck, but Gotoh caught him and spinebusted him straight to the floor!
Morrison was getting schooled in every single way, as he got rolled back inside the ring, Gotoh covering. 1.... 2.... NO! Morrison still kicked out, and Gotoh was starting to get a little frustrated. He picked Morrison up and placed him in the corner, setting him on the top rope. He hooked Morrison up with a double underhook, coming off with a double underhook superplex, Morrison bouncing off the mat with a sickening thud! Gotoh rolled Morrison onto his back and covered him for 1.... 2.... NO! He still kicked out, and Gotoh was getting pissed off. Gotoh stood and waited, poising himself for what looked like a superkick. He fired one off, but Morrison ducked and hit a spinning heel kick to the back of Gotoh's head, knocking him straight out! He quickly covered him for 1.... 2.... NO! Gotoh got his shoulder off the mat somehow! Gotoh got back to his feet on his own power, but he was lucky he got up at all, as Morrison flew at him with a cross body, Gotoh catching him! He hit a fallaway slam over the ropes, but Morrison held onto the rope, saving his life.
Morrison turned Gotoh around and roundhouse kicked his face again, knocking him straight down, as he climbed the top rope again. Morrison leapt off with a Phoenix Driver Moonsault, but Gotoh got his knees up at the last second, drilling into Morrison's chest! He covered Morrison, hooking the leg, 1.... 2.... NO! Morrison's free foot somehow found that bottom rope, saving his title for just a little longer.
"Great ring presence by Morrison."
"I wouldn't call it that, Monsoon, I think he just got lucky, Gotoh has been kicking his ass all around the ring. We're gonna see a new champion in just a few more minutes, I can feel it."
Gotoh picked Morrison up and locked the wrist, going for the GoToh Heaven again. He lifted Morrison up for it, but Morrison hooked his throat with his arm and hit an inverted neckbreaker, countering it! He springboarded off the second rope with a cross body, catching him and taking him down! 1.... 2.... no! Gotoh pushed him off and sprang to his feet, Morrison catching him with a jumping spinning heel kick. Morrison got back up and hooked Gotoh up for a vertical suplex stunner, connecting with it nicely, taking Gotoh down. He waited in the corner for Gotoh to rise, readying for the Nitro Blast. He came out of the corner and fired off, but Gotoh caught his foot, hitting a capture powerbomb! Gotoh covered for 1.... 2.... NO! Morrison kicked out of it somehow!
Gotoh couldn't believe it, John Morrison was tougher than he thought, as he got back to his feet and went for a Shining Wizard, but Morrison was able to duck underneath it, but barely. Morrison hit a quick neckbreaker on Gotoh, sending him to a sitting position, coming off the ropes with his signature knockout knee smash, but Gotoh ducked it and rolled Morrison up backwards, straight into the Cross Legged STF! Morrison was NOT getting out of this one, as Gotoh had his submission finisher locked in tight. Morrison was struggling to the ropes, being inches away as Gotoh wrenched back on his neck, going to snap him in half if he didn't tap out.
Morrison was in this hold for what felt like a decade as he just was out of reach of the ropes, his hand rose, he was gonna tap! He almost hit the mat with his hand, but was able to stop himself as Gotoh just cranked the pressure on, the fans rallying Morrison onward. Morrison couldn't take much more as he was about to tap out... when he reached out one more time, BARELY getting the ropes, but getting the bottom rope indeed. The referee broke the hold, Gotoh holding until 4, almost 5, the referee forcibly pulling Gotoh off.
Morrison was out of it, there was no recovering from that brutal submission lock, as Gotoh picked him up, signalling for the Shouten again. He picked Morrison up, but Morrison kicked at his knees, breaking the hold. He blasted Gotoh with a third roundhouse, but Gotoh still stood on his feet! He kicked Gotoh in the gut and grabbed his head, going for the Moonlight Drive, but Morrison was countered right into the GoToh Heaven! This was it, Gotoh scrambled to the center of the ring and turned Morrison over, hooking both legs for 1.... 2.... 3-NO!!!! Oh my god, no! Morrison was able to somehow kick out of that one, the ref's hand even hit the mat on that, but he DID get the shoulder up before the three, as the replays showed in ultra slow motion.
Gotoh was furious, but he knew he could still finish the job. He crossed his throat again, screaming those same three words he said before. "Morrison is finished!!!" He picked a lifeless Morrison up by the hair and loaded him up for the Shouten, lifting him high into the air. He dropped him down, but Morrison hooked the head and turned it into a DDT, rolling through and hooking the legs for a small package DDT cradle! 1.... 2.... 3!!!
"Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner and still NWA United States Champion, John Morrison!"
Amazing! John Morrison beat a counter wrestler with an incredible, bottom of the 9th, 4th quarter counter of the Shouten into a small package DDT cradle for the three count, as Morrison's hand was lifted into the air, being presented the US Title. Gotoh got back to his feet groggily as his head was spiked into the mat, he was furious, but the referee told him it was a three. He left the ring in disgust, but truth be told, he had nothing to be ashamed of, as some of the fans in attendance were applauding him for his effort. Back in the ring, Morrison finally got back to his feet and was officially declared the winner, as the referee rose his hand in the air, Morrison dropping onto his knees before rolling out of the ring, high fiving a few of the fans before getting backstage, where he was met... by Gotoh.
Gotoh stared Morrison dead in the face and looked at the US Title. He actually extended his palm out to Morrison, and Morrison looked at it reluctantly. With a bit of apprehension, Morrison shook Gotoh's palm and went to walk away, but Gotoh pulled him back. A man of few words, Gotoh only spoke: "Next time..." before letting go and walking off. Perhaps respect was shown, but Morrison now had someone else gunning for his US Title full-time. Kevin Kelly caught up with the champion.
"John Morrison, outstanding match out there, but you got destroyed through most of it, how were you able to overcome all that?"
"Without a doubt, that was my toughest match in the NWA, possibly of my career, next to the match I had with Shawn Michaels. Hirooki Gotoh is an outstanding wrestler, take nothing away from him. I'm just disappointed that someone who's that talented and that great of an athlete is associated with the NWO. I definitely look forward to wrestling him again in the near future."
"What was the handshake about?"
"One word only. Respect. I beat him fair and square, and he knows it, but he gave me the toughest challenge this company has ever given me. He wants another title shot, he'll have to earn it, but I won't duck his challenge. I'll be waiting for the next time I face him one on one, you can bet on that."
"Thank you again, ladies and gentlemen, still your United States Champion, John Morrison, John, great show out there, congratulations."
"Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the NWA World Tag Team Championships!"
[Play out]
Oh my god... The look on Chono's face would scare off a serial killer as he glared at "Masahiro" Goldust, Mutoh wasn't there to calm him down, he'd likely have killed him. Chono left the ring as Mutoh was going to start this match. He was already embarassed when Goldust dressed up as "The Great Dust", so it was revenge for both of them. Cody locked up with Mutoh who immediately took him over with a suplex. He got back up right in front of Chono who threatened to blast him, but he turned around into a superkick from Mutoh, barely getting out of a two count.
Cody was no match fo Keiji and he knew it, rolling to the outside to regain his thoughts. Chono and Mutoh discussed strategy as Cody slid back in and actually had the balls to tag in Goldust. Mutoh went to walk forward but Chono tagged himself in and sprinted forward, shoving Keiji straight out of the ring. Goldust hit him with a drop toe hold, and Chono got back up, getting ping ponged between Rhodes and Goldust! Cody got back in as they delivered a double team combo: a left, another left, a third left, then a double dancing elbow, knocking Chono straight out of the ring! Chono was pissed off as Keiji tried to calm him down, Chono just shoved him on his ass.
"Wow, Jesse! Is there dissention among the NWO?"
"No. Goldust has just pissed of Chono, and believe me, that is NOT the smartest thing in the world to do."
Chono got back into the ring with Goldust and charged in again, getting taken down with a hip toss. Chono got right back up and missed a clothesline, Goldust taking him over with a powerslam! Holy crap, Chono was getting schooled by Goldust as he sent Chono into the ropes, dropping him with a back body drop. Chono swung like a madman, but Goldust ducked and hit an atomic drop before coming off the ropes with a flying hip block, knocking Chono down. He covered, but only got a one. Cody quickly tagged in as Goldust tripped Chono with another drop toe hold, Cody quickly hitting a legdrop onto the back of Chono's neck, locking in a headlock.
Chono got back up to his feet and sent Cody into the ropes, missing another clothesline as Cody came off with a cross body, taking Chono down! He got a two count before getting tossed off, coming off the ropes again. Chono missed a clothesline as Cody came from the other side, but Chono connected with this clothesline, flipping Cody a complete flip and sprinting to Goldust, pulling him into the ring.
Chono was pissed off and went to swing for Goldust, but Goldust ducked and blew gold glitter into his face! Cody came back with a missile dropkick to Chono's face, knocking him clear out of the ring! Cody climbed the top rope and flew off with a flying body press, crashing right down onto Chono, taking him out! Chono's anger was getting the best of him as he couldn't stay focused at all, Mutoh trying to help him back to his corner. Chono was screaming at him in Japanese as Mutoh tried to calm him down, telling him something. He whispered in Chono's ear as Chono rolled back into the ring with Cody, wiping his eyes. Before they locked up, Goldust had grabbed a hold of Chono's sunglasses.
"Oh Jesus Christ Dustin, what are you thinking?"
"I think he's gonna throw Chono off his game, Jesse."
Goldust tagged back in and put the sunglasses on himself, egging Chono on. Chono's eyes seethed with rage as he charged in, hammering away on Goldust in the corner. The referee pushed Chono off, but Chono shoved him out of the way, giving Goldust an opening as he planted a stiff kick right between Chono's legs! He covered for 1.... 2.... NO! Mutoh barely broke it up, but that was close. It was obvious that Goldust and Cody had Chono off his game as Goldust fired Chono off the ropes. Chono reversed it and lowered his head, Goldust sliding underneath and chopping his throat.
Chono was being taken apart as Goldust mounted him and actually rubbed on his chest before firing away a ten punch. He nailed all ten of them before running to the ropes again. Chono got back up and fired a Yakuza kick, nailing Goldust dead between the eyes, but didn't even bother to cover him. He picked Goldust up and propped him in the corner, chopping his chest. Mutoh called for the tag, but Chono didn't listen, he wanted Goldust all to himself. He tossed Goldust to the ropes and back body dropped him straight over the post, Goldust landing on the stairs!
Cody ran over to check on Goldust, but was cut off by Chono who clotheslined the Dashing right out of him. He grabbed Cody and launched him full strength right into the steps, which in turn, crashed back into Goldust, doing even more damage to him. Chono picked Goldust up and sent him into the ring, taking off the sunglasses and throwing them away, screaming at Goldust. He picked him up and dropped him with a ChonoTrigger right in the center of the ring. Cody came to help out, but he was sent straight over the top rope with a Yakuza Kick.
Chono picked Goldust up again and delivered a second ChonoTrigger, putting an exclamation mark on it. He didn't cover even once as he picked Goldust up and dropped him with a THIRD ChonoTrigger, for the love of God, Chono just didn't care anymore! The referee told him to cover, Chono stared at him, causing him to flee the ring. He picked Goldust back up and tossed him to the ropes, catching him coming off with a Yakuza Kick, busting him wide open. Finally, he covered Goldust for 1.... 2.... Chono pulled Goldust up.
"Oh my god, this is uncalled for, Jesse!"
"I told you that he shouldn't have made fun of Chono, now he's going to pay the price."
Chono picked Goldust up and delivered one more Yakuza kick, taking Goldust down in the center of the ring. He placed his foot on Goldust's chest for 1.... 2.... 3.
"Ladies and gentlemen, here are your winners and still NWA World Tag Team Champions, Masahiro Chono and Keiji Mutoh!"
Cody Rhodes got back to his feet and looked at his fallen brother, not even daring to enter the ring while NWO was still in there as Keiji pulled Chono out of the ring, lest Chono be arrested for attempted murder as the referee handed them their belts. Goldust, surprisingly, didn't need help getting out of the ring, but damn was he battered to hell, as Cody got back in the ring, he could audibly be heard saying "What the hell were you thinking???" Chono looked back and screamed out "FUCK YOU!" before turning around and walking back with Keiji... Goldust just learned a valuable lesson: Do not piss off Masahiro Chono.

[Play Out]
"Ladies and Gentleman this contest scheduled for one fall is a triple threat for the NWA Cruiserweight Championship.
