"Ladies and Gentleman will you all please rise for the singing of our National Anthem to be sung by a very special guest, Lillian Garcia."
[Play Out]
Right after she finished the anthem she was hit with a Twist of Hate by Jeff Hardy. Hardy would grab one of the American flags from the colorguard, cracking it over his knee and tossed it over at Ventura, leaving the ring amiss the fans literally screaming for Hardy's death.
"This guy is an asshole! He should be suspended for that!"
"I swear to god Gorilla if John Morrison doesn't beat him tonight I'll come out of retirement and beat the shit out of him myself!"
"Ladies and gentlemen we apologize for that disgusting display on behalf of Jeff Hardy, we still have a great show in store for you, lets take it down to Justin Roberts for the first match up."
[Play Out]
"Ladies and Gentleman this match up scheduled for one fall is for the NWA Cruiserweight Championship. Standing over to my left the challenger, from Mexico City Mexico, weighing in at 194 lbs with a Win/Loss Record of 3 Wins and 0 Losses, Blue Demon Jr. His Opponent, from Capetown South Africa, weighing in at 215 lbs, with a Win/Loss Record of 16 Wins, 0 Losses, 7 by Knock Out, Justin, Gabriel."
The bell sounded and Gabriel looked ready to just jump him but he kept his cool, both of them locking up trying to jock for position. Gabriel struck with a few knees to the ribs locking in a headlock. Blue Demon pushed him off, catching him with a few dropkicks then an armdrag holding it in a lock. Gabriel got to his feet, rolling his body around some and slid out of the hold, connecting with a spinkick to the ribs then a double knee right into the face, tossing him to the corner. Gabriel charged in though Demon moved out of the way, hitting a school boy for two and quickly chained in a snapmare then headlock. Gabriel fought to his feet, fighting out with his elbows and hit the rope, Demon leapfrogging then caught him with a hurricanrana, charging in with a cross body though Gabriel blocked, quicking turning it into a running powerslam but Demon slid out, pushing him to the corner and connected with a japanese rolling clutch for two.
Both men rose with Demon striking first with some hard shots to the head then chest, a headbutt for good measure, tossing him to the ropes and dropped him with a backbody drop then a hard bicycle kick to the face, sending Gabriel to the floor. With a rally of jeers following Blue Demon would fly through the ropes with a suicide dive, crashing into Gabriel below. He rose pulling him to his feet, running Gabriel to the apron though he leapt upon it leaping and caught Blue Demon with a moonsault reverse ddt right to the floor. Gabriel rose up now on the offensive, slamming him into the steel stairs then rolled him into the ring, leapfrogging off of the rope with a wheel kick right over the face then tackled him to the mat with fists of fire.
Gabriel rose, wrenching on the arm then started to kick over and over again at his chest, finishing with one to the face, quickly dropping two knees over the face and quickly locked in a bodyscissor full nelson lock. Blue Demon was forced to use his legs to roll and drag himself to the rope. Gabriel let go of the leg scissor but held onto the full nelson, raising him up for a slam though Demon countered with a snapmare, coming off the rope with a spinning headscissor though Gabriel countered with a sit out powerbomb. Gabriel rose and tossed Demon to the corner, kicking the hell out of him, climbing up for a monkey flip though Blue Demon landed on his feet, coming off of the rope with a cross body block, rolling to his feet and nearly caught a float over ddt though Gabriel pushed him off, both of them charging though Gabriel dropped him with a leg sweep.
Gabriel went for a side headlock though Demon kicked to his head, rising up and caught a hiptoss though Gabriel kept the momentum and woudl springboard off the rope with a missile dropkick, grappling and would bash his knees into his face over and over again, tossing him hard to the ropes and tried a backbody drop though Blue Demon countered with a sunset flip, coming off of the rope with a spinning headscissor armdrag, charging in though Gabriel dropped him wit a release flapjack, watching him bouce up and hit a stiff kick right to the face, sending him to the floor.
Gabriel got a head of steam and leapt over the rope with a summersault plancha though Blue Demon caught him and would ally oop him right into the barricade. Blue Demon grinned to himself and would lay Gabriel over the barricade, forcing him to lay on it as he climbed up the apron and did a moonsault right upon Gabriel, smashing him into the barricade. Gabriel rolled to the floor, holding his ribs in pain as Demon would toss him into the ring, starting to kick solely at the ribs now, moving him to the corner and just focused on the midsection.
The ref moved him out of the way to see if Gabriel wanted to quit, forcing himself to his feet then was dropped with gutbuster then a double knee drop over the ribs. Demon looked down at him with contempt, now hitting to the back of the ribs and kidneys, locking in an abdominal stretch. Gabriel refused to give in as the hold broke, Demon giving it a moment and dropped him with a Canadian Suplex, dropping him on his front. He pulled him up and hit heavy knees to the ribs, pulling him up and dropped him with a Dominator, Gabriel just trying to get away at this point. Demon pulled him to his feet, tossing him to the corner and kicked at the ribs.
Demon then rose him to the top rope, looking for a superplex but Gabriel started to fight back, dropping him down and quickly lept with the 450, connecting but quickly pulled off of him, holding his ribs. That was stupid but it was instinct as the ref asked him if he wanted to continue. Gabriel slowly got to his feet, coughing hard as he tried to remain steady as Demon rolled to his feet. Gabriel struck at him, tossing him to the corner though was irish whipped, Blue Demon coming in with a clothesline though Gabriel side stepped. He quickly placed him on the top rope, looking for a backsuplex though it was blocked.
Gabriel fell to the mat as Blue Demon leapt with a moonsault, splashing down hard upon the ribs........for two. He rose with conviction, hitting Gabriel with a few gutbusters, tossing him to the rope and dropped him with a schwein, moving him over to the corner of the rope and would drop a vaderbomb like drop upon him not just once, but three times. The ref checked on him though Blue Demon pulled him up and placed him in a Hangmans Chokehold Clutch, sitting down with him and locked the legs and neck in place. Gabriel was outstretched, yelling out in pain as his neck and ribs were being stretched, refusing to quit even if the ref wanted to call it.
Demon would slowly rise with him then came down with a GourryBomb, nearly breaking Gabriel's neck, rising to his feet and heard the jeers, getting a running start and punted Gabriel right in the ribs, sending him to the floor. The ref moved to the outside to check on him though Demon pushed him aside, slamming him rib first into the steel stairs, the barricade then back into the ring, tossing him to the corner and rammed his shoulders into his ribs. He climbed up and started to slug over his head until Gabriel got a burst of adrenaline and slammed him with a sitout powerbomb.
Slowly he got to his feet, taking Demon down with a swinging neckbreaker, a dropkick then a belly to back suplex, trying to ignore the pain, catching him with a snapmare then kicked hard against his spine locking in an overhook sleeper. That was a new one as Gabriel slowly rose with him still keeping the overhook applied and dropped him with an overhook suplex, the fans going 'wow' on that one. He got to his feet and connected with a hard kick over the head, climbing the top rope and waited, leaping for a Tornado DDT though Demon somehow countered it right into the Inverted Stunner, Gabriel clean out cold flat upon the mat, the ref checking upon him but Demon pushed him out of the way, going for the cover........No! Barely but no as he shook his head some, slowly rising to his feet and pulled Gabriel with him whom quickly countered with Goodnyte, both men falling to the mat.
The ref would start to count as Gabriel rose at the count of six, dragging himself up with the ropes, moving towards the top rope knowing this might be foolish but he had to try it, getting himself balanced as Demon rose quickly, climbing the top rope and took him down with a super hurricanrana, crashing down hard. He rose up and signaled this match was over, moving over and moved him to the corner, climbing the top rope and would leap with a 450 though Gabriel rolled out of the way, Demon crashing hard.
He held his stomach as Gabriel grabbed him from behind, nearly locking in the CobraLock though Demon slid out, coming off of the rope with a clothesline though Gabriel ducked and grabbed him again nearly getting it locked in though Demon would kick off the rope with a backflip though when he landed Gabriel swung his foot like wildfire and connected with Goodnyte, covering, 1....2....3!
"Ladies and gentleman here is your winner and Still NWA Cruiserweight Champion, Justin Gabriel."
Close very close did Gabriel lose his title but he was able to hold on dispite being worn out and beaten down. He rolled out of the ring having to walk that long ramp back up, holding his ribs a bit but finally did get a little bit of vindication after all of the stalking, heading through the curtain.
We cut backstage to Todd Grisham.
"Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time... Alberto Del Rio."
"Hello, Todd. We haven't been properly introduced. This is Ricardo Rodriguez. And me? My name is Alberto Del Rio... but of course, you already know that. And so do you, Macho Man, Randy Savage. This man calls himself a legend, but he knows nothing of what makes a man legendary. I am of Mexican Royalty! Mi tio es el legendario Mil Mascaras, comprede, pendejo? Eres un perdedor averiado y necesita ser puesto fuera de su miseria. You are a broken down loser... and you need to be put out of your misery. When I'm done with you, Savage... you'll be in a hospital bed, nursing a broken arm, and you won't be dropping elbows on anyone EVER again. Oh, and one more thing... Elizabeth... sweet, sweet Elizabeth, heh heh heh... I think you would look much better on my arm, riding shotgun in my luxury cars and cleaning my mansion... but of course, you already knew that... see you soon, mamacita." Del Rio winked and walked off.
On the other side, Kevin Kelly was with the Macho Man himself.
"Randy Savage, we just heard the comments from Alberto Del Rio, do you care to retort?"
"DID I hear him correctly? DID I HEAR HIM say... that the Macho Man Randy Savage knows nothing about legends, well let me tell you something right now Alberto Del Rio, I hope you're listening, yeah! I HOPE YOU'RE LISTENING REAL GOOD because I've been sick of you running your mouth at everyone's expense. You've got talent, you've got machismo, YEAH! You've got all those tools, yeah, but the one thing you don't have is the Madness, yeah, you ain't got the Madness, but Macho Man Randy Savage has the Madness, yeah! I'VE GOT THE MADNESS, and I'm going to explode all over you, Alberto Del Rio, in just a FEW SHORT SECONDS, Elizabeth, is he gonna experience that right now? DON'T ANSWER THAT, because you don't need to, yeah. You crossed the line, Alberto Del Rio... you crossed the line in the sand when you winked at the lovely Elizabeth... and now you're gonna feel the wrath of the Madness. The time for talking is over, yeah. THE TIME... FOR TALKING... IS OVAH! Elizabeth, lead the way, OOOOOH YEAAAAH! ALBERTO DEL RIO, YOU'RE GONNA FIND OUT WHAT LEGENDARY IS, YEAHHH! DOIN' IT NOW! YEAH! ALBERTO DEL RIO! IT'S TIME TO EXPERIENCE THE MADNESS.... but you already knew that, didn't you? YOU ALREADY KNEW THAT!!!! OOOOOOOH YEAAAAAAAH!"
"Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall!"
(Play Del Rio)
"Cabos y caballeros, la introducción a usted, la leyenda de la lucha libre más grande de todo México, y el más grande luchador en todo el mundo ... La esencia de la excelencia, el es.... Alberto Del Rio!"
(Play Savage)
"His opponent, accompanied by the First Lady of Wrestling, Miss Elizabeth, from Sarasota, Florida, weighing 245lbs, "Macho Man" Randy Savage!"
The bell didn't even ring before Savage flew at Del Rio and started blasting him with right hands, rocking him into the corner. He chopped away at his chest until Del Rio nearly choked from oxygen deprivation, getting hip tossed out of the corner. Del Rio was then clotheslined up and over the top rope to the outside. Del Rio got back up and started walking up the ramp, deciding to call it a night and go home. Savage leapt over the top to the floor and charged at five hundred miles an hour, knocking Del Rio down with a flying clothesline on the ramp, damn near taking his head off. Savage picked him up and blasted him face first into the railing, then launched him back first into it, taking the air out of Del Rio.
Savage tossed him back into the ring and rolled inside, but Del Rio caught him coming in with elbows to the back of the neck and head. He got up and paraded around, screaming "I outsmarted you, Savage!" But Randy got back up and slapped the accent out of Del Rio's mouth before body slamming him down, going for a cover, getting a one. Del Rio got back up in the corner and was whipped to the ropes, getting hit with a back body drop. He swung for Savage's head, but Savage ducked it and hit a stalling atomic drop, Del Rio getting sent back to the outside again, Savage in complete control of the match. Randy went back outside and leapt off the apron with a double ax to Del Rio's head, knocking him back down. He got back up on the apron and climbed to the top rope while Del Rio was pulling himself to his feet. Savage crashed down with another double ax to Del Rio's back, knocking him back down before throwing him into the ring.
Savage rolled inside and covered for two, before going to a reverse chinlock, wearing Del Rio down. Del Rio was stunned to say the least, as Savage just kept pouring on the pressure. Del Rio got back to his feet and turned the chinlock into a back suplex, breaking the hold. Savage got to his feet first and came at Del Rio with a clothesline, but Del Rio ducked it and delivered a dropkick to Savage's face, knocking him down. Savage got right back up and ran into another dropkick, getting taken back down. Savage got right back up for a third time and got hit with a third straight dropkick, going back down to the mat once again. Del Rio hooked the leg for a two count, then picked Savage up and placed him in the corner.
He chopped at Savage's chest, then whipped him to the other corner. Savage stuck his foot up in the air and nailed Del Rio right in the face, quickly ascending the top rope. He came off with a missile dropkick, but Del Rio sidestepped it, Savage crashing and burning. He picked Savage back up and delivered an armbar DDT, trying to separate the shoulder. Del Rio continued to kick and stomp at the arm as the referee pushed him back, checking on Savage. Savage got back to his feet and shoved the referee out of the way, but Del Rio ducked his wild swing and locked in a hammerlock, turning it into a hammerlock slam, Savage crashing down upon his arm. Del Rio covered for a two, and continued to work on the left arm, going for a side armbar, then switching to a top wristlock.
Savage was taken down to his knees as Del Rio locked the wristlock in, then switched arms, hitting another armbar DDT, this time on the other arm, taking both arms out of the picture! Del Rio was playing for keeps as he picked Savage up and hit a climb up enziguiri to the right shoulder, taking Savage right back down, covering again. 1.... 2.... no! Savage was able to kick out of it, holding his arm in pain. Del Rio backed him into the corner and hammered away on his head, rocking Savage hard. He stepped out of the corner and posed for the crowd, winking at Elizabeth, which caused Savage to rocket out of the corner and spear him down, hammering at Del Rio's face. He picked Del Rio up and hit a suplex, then dropped a leg across his face, Del Rio rolling to the outside.
Savage caught him before he rolled all the way out, pulling him back up to the apron. Del Rio countered by slapping Savage's face, then grabbed the arm and guillotined it over the rope, snapping Savage back into the ring. Del Rio re-entered the ring and was caught with a quick powerslam! 1.... 2.... no! Del Rio kicked out of it. Del Rio sat up and was met with a low dropkick to the face, Savage going for another cover. 1.... 2.... no! Del Rio got a shoulder up off the mat and picked himself up in the corner. Savage grabbed his head and raked his eyes across the ropes before backing up. He went for a clothesline but Del Rio ducked and back dropped Savage over the top to the floor, Savage hitting the ground hard.
Del Rio continued to taunt the crowd, saying something about Destiny as he turned to Elizabeth and continued to make passes at her, Savage slowly getting up on the other side. He got back to the apron at the count of seven, Del Rio closing the distance. He loaded Savage up for a suplex, but Savage went up and over and quickly rolled Del Rio up! 1.... 2.... no! Del Rio kicked out of it and knocked Savage back down, regaining the control. He turned Savage around on his stomach and locked in a recliner on the right arm, just trying to break the elbow. Del Rio jumped up and sat on the arm, doing more damage to it.
He knew the match was his at this point, Del Rio climbing the top rope. He mocked Savage and rose his fingers in the air, crashing down with a double ax to the right shoulder again, and then rammed his shoulder into the post! Savage came out of the corner into a schoolboy, Del Rio placing his feet on the ropes! 1.... 2.... the ref stopped the count and kicked Del Rio's feet off the ropes, threatening to DQ him. Del Rio feigned innocence as Savage got back to his feet in the corner, Del Rio hitting another enziguiri, this time to Savage's head, taking him straight down, going for the cover. 1.... 2.... no! Savage's foot found the rope.
Del Rio picked Savage back up and tossed him to the ropes, missing with a clothesline. Savage came back, driving the point of the elbow into Del Rio's face, knocking him down. This wasn't smart as Savage hurt himself a lot more than he did Del Rio, because Del Rio got right back to his feet. He started to work on the left arm again, taking both of Savage's arms out of the game. He sent him to the ropes again and ducked his head, Savage countering with a "million dollar" knee lift to Del Rio's face which sent him straight over the top to the floor for the third time.
Savage was essentially just down to his legs as he left the ring again and kicked Del Rio in the gut, then went to drive him backfirst into the post. Del Rio quickly turned around and sent Savage shoulder first into the post, breaking the count. He picked Savage back up and threw him into the ring, before starting to come into the ring himself, but he stopped and looked at Elizabeth. He started stalking her, winking at her the entire time and calling her to come to him. Liz stood her ground as Del Rio started to close the distance, but saw Savage getting back to his feet, so he got back into the ring and took him down again, this time with a bulldog.
Del Rio got back up and blew a kiss to Elizabeth before calling for the cross arm breaker. He turned one more time and winked at Liz before locking the cross arm breaker in, straight in the center of the ring! Savage had nowhere to go, and couldn't really reach any of the ropes, since both his arms were hurting badly. Del Rio started rocking up and down, cranking the pressure up on Savage's right arm, just trying to permanently damage him, as Savage started to inch his way to the ropes. Del Rio screamed at Savage to tap out, but Savage wouldn't give in as he struggled to the ropes, almost tapping out, but his feet hit the ropes, the referee forcing the break.
Del Rio was fuming, but didn't seem too upset as he picked Savage up again and went for it a second time, but Savage raked his eyes before he could think about locking it in. Del Rio tossed Savage to the corner and came in with a dropkick straight to Savage's mouth, taking him right down. He covered Savage for 1.... 2.... NO! Savage still kicked out! Del Rio had enough and screamed at Ricardo to grab him a steel chair. Ricardo handed him the chair as Elizabeth jumped up on the apron, telling the referee to turn around. Del Rio grabbed Liz by the hair and pulled her into the ring, backing her into the corner as the referee tried to get between the two of them.
Del Rio threatened to smack her with the chair as the referee was able to FINALLY get between the two of them and push Del Rio away, turning around to get Elizabeth out of the ring. Del Rio winked at her before the chair was snatched away and then *BANG!* Savage walloped him over the face with the chair, busting him wide open as the referee was trying to get Elizabeth out of the ring! Savage threw the chair away and climbed the top rope, leaping off with the elbow drop! He covered Del Rio for 1.... 2.... 3!
"Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner, "Macho Man" Randy Savage!"
"You never, EVER touch Elizabeth, Monsoon. Randy Savage will explode on your ass if you come anywhere near her!"
"You can bet your bottom dollar on that, Jesse, Alberto Del Rio made a huge mistake, not only taking his eyes off the ball, but turning his attention to Elizabeth."
Savage rolled out of the ring and yanked Elizabeth away from ringside, almost dragging her away from Del Rio as Del Rio sat up, screaming at the referee the Savage nailed him with the chair. The ref couldn't call what he couldn't see, and left the ring, telling Del Rio that his decision was final. He ran to Savage and rose his hand up in the aisleway, Savage was officially declared the winner, as Del Rio was pissed off, being screwed again by Randy Savage, but this time, it was because of his own arrogance. Randy Savage rose his hands and fingers up in the air again and left the arena with Elizabeth, unharmed and smiling all the while.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall!"
(Play Choshu)
"Introducing first, accompanied by Mr. Fuji, representing the NWO, from Yamaguchi, Japan, weighing 260lbs, Riki Choshu!"
(Play Goldberg)
"And his opponent, from Atlanta, Georgia, weighing 280lbs, "Mr. G1", Goldberg!"
It was obvious that the "Mr. G1" announcement pissed off Choshu, as Fuji got on the apron to calm him down, Goldberg stretching out in the other corner as the bell rang. Fuji came off the apron as Choshu focused on Goldberg, this was going to be power vs. power as the two monsters met in the center of the ring, Choshu poking at Goldberg's chest. Goldberg knocked his hand away and Choshu looked down at his hand, not believing what just happened. He started talking again and Goldberg punched him in the mouth, rocking him to the corner. He fired Choshu into the far corner and back body dropped him on the way out, clotheslining him up and over the top to the floor.
Choshu got back up and couldn't believe it, as Goldberg just stood his ground, the fans exploding. Choshu got back into the ring, locking up with Goldberg, the two men just pushing at each other, trying to push the other back. They broke off, no one having any advantage. Choshu locked in a headlock, and Goldberg quickly fired him off the ropes. They collided, no one moving at all, as both men just looked at each other.
"What's that catchphrase you always say, Gorilla?"
"The irresistable force meeting the immovable object, Jess."
"That's exactly what we're getting here."
They ran off opposite sides of the ring and collided again, no one leaving their feet. They attempted one more time and Choshu ran off the ropes with a monster lariat, but Goldberg ducked underneath this and speared Choshu down, but Choshu quickly rolled out of the ring and got to his feet on the outside, being unable to take Goldberg out of his game. Goldberg reached over the ropes for Choshu, and was caught with a cheap shot to the throat, giving Choshu an opening. He hammered on Goldberg's back, and hit a suplex. Choshu dropped a leg onto Goldberg's chest before picking him up and hitting a back breaker, bending him over the knee.
Goldberg wouldn't give up as he punched at Choshu's head, breaking the hold. He quickly got to his feet but was caught in a belly to belly suplex, Choshu going for the cover, Goldberg getting up at a one. Choshu backed Goldberg into the corner and started shoulderblocking his ribs and midsection, throwing him to the other corner. Goldberg was able to reverse this and send Choshu into the corner and charged in with a clothesline, taking him over with a vertical suplex. Goldberg picked him back up and hit a back suplex with a bridge, getting a one count on Choshu.
They got back to their feet as Choshu delivered a chop to Goldberg, who answered with a knee to the midsection. Goldberg loaded Choshu up for another suplex, but Choshu blocked it and was able to counter with a vertical suplex of his own, taking Goldberg down. He kicked him out of the ring, Choshu now establishing dominance as Fuji willed him on from the outside. Goldberg got back to his feet and took a baseball slide to the chest, knocking him back down. Choshu went to the outside and rammed Goldberg's face into the steps. He rolled Goldberg back into the ring and went for another cover, only getting a two.
Choshu picked Goldberg up and placed him in a bearhug, then rammed him back first into the turnbuckles, wanting to keep that back injured. He started to hammer more and more on the back and pulled Goldberg out, going for another belly to belly, but Goldberg charged at him, tackling him down and hammered away on his face. Choshu pushed him off and went for a wild swing, but Goldberg ducked it and hit a sleeper hold choke, bodyscissoring Choshu and taking him down! The referee told Goldberg to break it since it was a choke hold, Goldberg breaking it at four.
Choshu got to his feet and was groggy, turning around to see Goldberg charging in at him, but he hit a drop toe hold, Goldberg's face smacking the second turnbuckle. He got back to his feet and stumbled back, getting rolled up! 1.... 2.... no! Goldberg kicked out, but Choshu held the legs and went for the Sasori-Gatame, known in America as the Sharpshooter! He crossed the legs, but Goldberg pushed him off into the turnbuckles, rolling Choshu up with a small package! 1.... 2.... no! Choshu got back to his feet and kicked Goldberg low in the midsection, hitting a powerbomb, holding him down! 1.... 2.... no! Goldberg still got out of it.
Choshu got back to his feet and waited for Goldberg to rise, going to take his head off with the lariat. He charged forward, missing it as Goldberd ducked it, Goldberg picked him up over his head and military pressed him, slamming him down hard on his back. Goldberg poised in the corner as Choshu rose back up to his feet and turned around into the Spear! Goldberg leapt up to his feet and grabbed Choshu, crossing his throat with his thumb and roaring out. Goldberg picked him up and hit the Jackhammer dead center in the middle of the ring for 1.... 2.... 3.
"Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner, Goldberg!"
Goldberg just scored another victory over an NWO member, this time, the big Riki Choshu as Goldberg simply walked away from the ring, his job being done, as Fuji got into the ring to help Choshu back to his feet. Goldberg was a machine that was on a wave of momentum since
"Ladies and Getleman the following contest scheduled for one fall will be for the NWA Women's Championship."
[Play Out]
Both women stood in the middle of the ring, Lita going nose to nose with her adversary as the bell would sound. They would lock up with Beth easily pushing Lita to the corner. Lita would lock up again but was able to drop Beth with a tomoe throw, rising up as Beth was taken by surprise. They locked up a third time as Beth flung her to the rope, swinging with a clothesline as Lita would crucifix, locking the arms. Beth used her strength and with the one arm flung Lita over her body to break the hold though was taken down with an armdrag counter, Lita coming off the rope, sliding under her legs then climbed upon her shoulders. Beth would toss her in the air to break the hold and caught her in midair with a german suplex to which Lita landed on her feet, coming off the rope with a sunset flip senton, rolling off of Beth and caught her with a dropkick, then another, and another, trying for a quick Litacanrana though Beth pushed her off as Lita landed, ducking a clothesline and got upon her shoulders again though Beth again tossed her off.
Lita landed on her feet and fell to her back, rolling back and kicked at Phoenix whom grabbed her legs, forcing her up though Lita countered with a fallaway bulldog. Beth quickly rising and caught Lita with a backbody drop, swinging hard with a clothesline as Lita ducked and went for a school girl for one, both women rising and stopped, the crowd giving them a round of applause.
They would lock up again, Phoenix locking in a quick headlock takedown and wrenched on the head, Lita sliding out and connected with a few kicks to the gut, aiming to ram her head into the turnbuckle though Beth blocked, hitting Lita in the gut and tossed her to the rope. Lita would sunset flip over though Beth countered, grabbing her by the neck from the mat and pulled her up, Lita breaking free with two well placed kicks to the chest, knocking her to the ropes and took her down with a deep armdrag then quickly wrapped the legs around in an armscissor. Lita held on until Beth broke free, both women rising as Lita tackled Beth to the corner, ramming her shoulders into her ribs until Beth grabbed her, raising her up for a powerbomb though Lita countered with a hurricanrana, tossing Beth to the floor and would flip herself back into the ring.
Lita would bounce off of the rope and leapt over with a suicide plancha, nearly killing herself as she crashed upon Phoenix below. Lita rose up, locking Beth in a headlock as she was picked up and flung off, Lita landing upon the apron and leapt with a senton, Phoenix ducking as Lita landed upon the barricade and would moonsault, catching Beth with a moonsault spinning headscissor. Lita rose up, getting apon the apron and ran with another senton though Beth held on and used her brute strength, tossing her backfirst into the steel post.
Lita hit the floor as Beth would toss her into the ring, rolling inside and would violently toss her to the corner, kicking to her ribs then punched over her head, placing her on the top rope and slowly climbed up, taking her down with a super double underhook suplex, crashing down hard and rose to her feet. Lita held her back then was dragged up and tossed to the rope, dropped with a one handed spine buster as Phoenix grabbed her legs and would strongman swing her across the ring.
Lita rolled and forced herself to her feet, ducking a double axe and went for a german suplex though Beth blocked, getting behind her and placed Lita on her shoulders then dropped her front first upon the mat. Beth rose and pulled Lita up by the hair, tossing her to the rope and picked her up with a gorilla press, lifting her up and down with ease, dropping her with a capture pump handle slam. She dragged her up again and tossed her hard to the corner, watching her bounce off and captured her with a release belly to belly suplex. Lita rose and took a hard clothesline, spinning in the air and landed hard as Beth slammed her with a full nelson slam.
Beth watched her rise up, hitting a few suplexes then a bodyslam, forcing Lita to her feet and would lock her in a bearhug. Lita would struggle a bit until she was tossed to the corner, Beth coming in with a splash but took two hard boots to the face. Lita hit the rope and leapt with a tornado DDT though Beth pushed her off. Lita landed on her feet, watching Beth charge in and caught her with a jaw jacker then would drop her with a climb up head scissor. Lita came off the rope with a sunset flip facebuster, rising and caught Beth right in the face with a dropsault, knocking her to the rope then would cross body, both women falling to the floor.
Lita got up first though was tackled from Beth as they crashed through the barricade, destroying it. Beth rose first, hiptossing Lita over the part of the guardrail that was standing back to ringside, moving around and tossed her into the ring, hitting the apron though Lita stopped her with a rope guillotine to stun her, coming off of the rope with a sunset flip powerbomb right to the floor. Lita rose up this time and moved Beth to the ring, slowly climbing the top rope and came down with a spinning head scissor, knocking Beth loopy then a cross body block, rolling to her feet and off the rope again, sliding under the legs and used her hands to pull Beth's ankles from the ground, quickly locking in and headscissor clutch.
Keeping the legs around the neck and Beth's arms stretched behind her, Lita held on tightly. Beth would grunt a bit, trying to break out though Lita latched on like a vice, forced to use her strength to break out, slowly rising with Lita on her shoulders keeping her legs around her neck. Phoenix would slowly removing her legs and would drop her face first upon the turnbuckle then dropped Lita with a release dragon suplex.
Slowly Lita would start to rise, her nose busted from the turnbuckle as she was clotheslined over the rope, landing on the apron. Beth reached over, pulling her up by the hair though Lita fought back with a hard punch to the face, stunning her and would drop Beth with a springboard CodeBreaker, Beth falling to the ropes with a dazed look upon her face. Lita rose would caught her with a snap suplex, a bodyslam then a Samurai Driver, holding her back as she came in with a thez press, using the rope to pull herself up and picked Beth up and came down with a brainbuster, moving to the top rope and leapt with a legdrop over the throat, covering....for one.
All that work just for that as Lita pulled Beth up which was a huge mistake as she was dropped with an Alabama Slam, nearly breaking her in half as Beth pulled her up, pushing her to the corner then tossed her with a hiptoss, watching her rise and kicked her in the gut, raising her up and slammed her with a powerbomb, holding the legs and pulled her back up and slammed her for a second one, covering Lita....for two.
Beth forced Lita up and just tossed her to the corner, watching her smack off and picked her up, coming down with a Death Valley Driver, nearly snapping Lita in half as she pulled her up, Lita barely able to stand on her own as she was pushed to the ropes, coming off slow as Beth picked her up for a gorilla press and just dropped her upon her chest, then slowly locking her in a full nelson. Lita tried to break out though Beth was just too strong, trying to lower her down. Lita dropped to a knee, shaking her head some as the pressure was starting to build as she slwoly rose back up to her feet, struggling as she would kick off the turnbuckle though Beth countered, falling to her back and wrapped the legs around, Lita stuck in this hold.
Lita struggled but Beth was just too strong, shaking her head as the ref kept checking on her, Lita refusing to give in as she shook her hands to keep the blood flow rushing. Little by little Lita would turn her body, able to get to the rope and caught on with her leg, the hold forced to break though Beth was quick on the draw, punching over her head and moved her to the rope, tossing her with an irish whip, pulling her back and hit Lita with a sick clothesline, nearly taking her head off. Beth would grab her by the hair and would literally fling her over the rope while still holding onto her hair, catching her in a rope guillotine, Lita whipping back and hit the floor below.
Beth Phoenix went to the floor, kicking the top portion of the stairs off, gorilla pressing Lita and just dropped her upon them much to the crowd's dismay and tossed her back into the ring. Lita would roll some trying to keep away from Beth whom picked her up and laid her over the turnbuckle, kicking to her ribs and hitting along her back, slowly placing her on top and would hook the arms in front of Lita and dropped her with a super frontlock belly to belly overhead suplex.
Lita hit the mat hard as Beth moved over and covered........for 2. Fans were going nuts that Lita still had fight left though Beth jerked her up and violently tossed her to the ropes and dropped her with a choke sitout powerbomb, Lita trying to roll out of the ring though Beth grabbed her by the ankle and pulled her hard right into a capture suplex, Lita just rolling around the ring as she struggled to her feet, Beth grabbing her from behind and would drop her with an airplane spin toss, Lita hitting the mat then was rammed into the corner. Beth would place her atop as this couldn't be good, Lita on spaghetti legs as both women were on top, Beth locking in for a superplex though Lita would block with a kick to the gut, grabbing Phoenix and would fall with a ddt to the floor, making sure to hit the flat of the steel stairs below.
The ref quickly went to the floor to check on both girls, Lita holding her back in pain and Beth was knocked out cold. Lita pushed the ref out of the way, pulling Beth up and tossed her into the ring, going for the cover, 1..........2.............No! Beth kicked out and Lita held her head a bit, first time ever to a two count but look what she had to do in order ot attain it. Lita rose up, pulling a groggy Phoenix to her feet, hitting her over the head and would slam her down to the mat, coming off the rope with a few elbows drops, locking in a side headlock and took a page out of her old rivals playbook hitting a Stratusfaction right in the center of the ring, turning Beth over and slowly climbed the top rope, leaping with a Litasault and splashed down, covering, 1..............2.........No. Beth still had a bit of fight left as Lita knew what she had to do, the only thing left, pulling Beth up and went for the Twist of Fate though Beth quickly countered that right into the GlamSlam though was still very loopy to even think about pinning.
Both women rose at the count of seven, starting to strike at each other with hard fists, Lita ducking a fist and caught Beth with a spinning headscissor, a cross body block and then a few drop kicks, keeping her out of the loop and would eventually drop her with a side effect, moving towards the rope and would leap with a Litasault, Beth rolling out of the way as Lita landed on her feet, kicking Beth in the gut and went for her new finisher, a Twist of Fate with her knee acting as the trigger though Beth pushed her off just in time, swinging with a clothesline as Lita ducked, catching a spinning headscissor right into a crucifix though Beth used her strength and pulled her over right into a powerful Glam Slam, covering Lita, 1........2.........3.
"Ladies and Gentleman here is your winner and still NWA Women's Champion, Beth, Phoenix."
Beth slowly rose though looked like she was in a war, rubbing her head some as Lita lay defeated in the center of the ring, her back killing her as Beth just watched her, not even offering her a hand up until after a moment, slowly helping Lita to her feet and would shake her hand, defeating one of the biggest pillars in the world of women's wrestling as Lita would leave the ring, holding her back in pain as a ref helped her to the back as Phoenix would climb the rope showing off her prize, it may have been unpopular but from where she stood, Beth Phoenix was now the Queen of the Angels.

(Play NWO)
"And their opponents, representing the NWO, at a combined weight of 470lbs, they are the NWA World Tag Team Champions, Masahiro Chono and Keiji Mutoh!"
The bell didn't even sound before all four men just started hammering away at each other, the referee already losing control of the match. All four men spilled to the outside as Chono and Animal were just beating the hell out of each other, Hawk tossing Mutoh into the railing. Chono was blasted into the apron and tossed back inside the ring, getting back to his feet quickly as Animal rolled back inside with him.
The two men just started trading right hands back and forth until Animal pushed Chono to the corner and hammered away, taking him out with a high hip block takeover. Chono got back to his feet and was quickly shoulderblocked down. Mutoh came charging in from the outside and got his head taken off by a clothesline from Animal, then got tossed over the top, crashing right onto Chono on the outside! LOD had taken complete control in the early going as Mutoh and Chono lay splattered on the ground, not even knowing what the hell just hit them.
Hawk and Animal rallied their hometown crowd as Chono and Mutoh finally got back to their feet, Chono getting back into the ring cautiously, Animal just waiting for him. Animal rose his hands in the air, calling for a test of strength, which Chono actually attempted. This was NOT a smart idea as he was easily overpowered, but Chono slipped in a knee to the gut, taking Animal over with a side headlock takedown, keeping it locked in. Animal got to a knee and hammered at Chono's gut, running to the other side, but Mutoh blindly tagged in and leapt from the top rope, OVER Chono, taking Animal down with a flying dropkick! He quickly covered, but was fired off at one.
Animal charged forward, but was lowbridged to the outside, Mutoh being the faster of the two. Mutoh ran off from the other side and flew through the ropes, hitting a suicide dive onto Animal, taking him down. He tossed Animal inside and rolled back in himself, stomping away on him. Animal was getting back to his feet, Mutoh ran to the ropes and went for a handspring back elbow, but Animal caught him and german suplexed him, tagging in Hawk. Hawk came in and shouted out, the crowd rallying behind him as he cornered Mutoh. Mutoh slipped in an elbow to the face, getting out of the corner, bringing Hawk into it. He delivered a reverse knife edge to no effect. He tried another one, to no effect, Hawk just walking out.
Mutoh kicked at him, but Hawk caught his foot and clotheslined him down. He picked Mutoh up and fired him into the corner, but Mutoh jumped up and over, kicking at him, mounting him for a 10-punch. He got to about four before Hawk walked out with him, spinebusting him down to the mat. He covered Mutoh for two before picking him up again for a front powerslam. He hit it hard, covering again, Chono breaking the count up at two. Mutoh got back to his feet and was sent to the ropes, Hawk going for a clothesline, Mutoh sliding between the legs and dropkicked the knee right from under Hawk. He tagged in Chono as the two of them grabbed his leg and blasted it into the mat.
Chono locked in a side leglock, working on the wheel a little more as Hawk fought out of it, kicking Chono away. Chono charged forward but was caught in a powerslam, but Hawk held his leg, going to tag out. He was almost there when Mutoh came from the other side and knocked Animal off the apron, Hawk being unable to tag. Chono dragged him to the center of the ring and continued to stomp on the leg, tagging Mutoh back in. Mutoh climbed the top rope and came off with a splash on the weak wheel, applying a spinning toe hold, continuing to wrench on it. He dropped a legdrop on the leg and went for an Indian Deathlock, but Hawk was able to kick him in the face with his free leg, breaking the attempt.
Hawk got back to his feet as Mutoh zeroed in on the leg, grabbing it and hitting a dragon screw takedown, just wrenching at it. He dragged Hawk to the corner and tagged Chono back in, who draped the leg over the rope and crashed down on it with an elbow drop. Chono paraded around the ring and flexed, the crowd booing massively at him as he flipped Animal off. Animal came into the ring and knocked the ref down on the way in, just so he could get to Chono. He hammered away on Chono viciously and sent him into the corner, coming in with an avalanche, then gorilla pressed him into the air and slammed him until the referee got back up and ordered him back to the corner.
Chono slowly got back to his feet as Hawk was trying to get back to his. Chono tagged in Mutoh again, Chono irish whipped Mutoh into Hawk, but Hawk stuck his good foot up, blasting Keiji in the face as Chono charged forward and was taken down with a clothesline. Hawk crawled over to his corner for the tag as Chono fell to the outside. Keiji was getting back to his feet and grabbed Hawk's leg, pulling him from the corner as Hawk turned around and kicked him off, turning around back to his partner. He crawled over to Animal, reaching for the tag... when Animal was pulled off the apron by Chono on the outside, the tag not happening!
Chono and Animal wailed away at each other as Mutoh was back to his feet, kicking and elbowing the leg again, ramming it into the mat below. Chono was knocked down with a clothesline, as Animal came into the ring to help Hawk. The referee pushed him back as from the outside, Chono tossed a steel chair to Mutoh, who wound up and blasted Hawk right in the back of the leg with it, disposing of the evidence before the referee turned around! Mutoh locked in a side leglock, pulling Hawk to their corner as he reached back, tagging Chono back in.
"As much as I hate to admit it, Jesse, this is wonderful tag team strategy."
"They've cut the ring off, they're keeping the fresh man in, and they've isolated one team member, and they've picked him apart. If they keep this up, they're walking out still the champs, Monsoon."
Mutoh and Chono each grabbed a leg and pulled them apart, splitting Hawk in half, Chono elbowing Hawk in the face, going for a cover. 1.... 2.... no! Hawk kicked out of it. Chono left the ring and kicked the stairs over, moving Hawk's leg to the post, ramming his knee into it. He got back into the ring and kicked at Hawk's head, then flipped Animal off, bringing him into the ring. The referee pushed him back as Mutoh once again grabbed the chair and blasted Hawk's leg with it, Hawk coming out of the corner in pain. Chono smiled and tagged Mutoh back in, the two almost making sport of the challengers as Mutoh grabbed Hawk's leg and jumped over him, hyperextending the leg.
He picked Hawk up and placed him in the corner, draping his leg over the rope and kicked at it several times before the referee came over and pulled him off. He went to check on Hawk, and as Mutoh turned around, he was whacked in the head with a chair by Animal as the referee's back was turned! Animal had enough as he dropped the chair, willing Hawk on, as Chono was screaming at Mutoh in Japanese to make the tag. Both men crawled to their respective corners, Mutoh having a lot less distance to travel than Hawk. Mutoh was able to get the tag as Chono came in and flew to the other side, cutting Hawk off at the pass with an elbow to the back of the head.
He dragged Hawk back to the center of the ring and locked in the STF, angling it so that he was staring right at Animal. He started yelling at Animal, calling him into the ring, reeling back on the STF hard, Hawk not tapping out, despite the pain on his leg. Chono turned it up a notch and turned around on his back, turning it into an STS, REALLY cranking up the pressure now, still staring at Animal. Animal willed his partner on, but Hawk was stuck in the hold, he wasn't going anywhere, as he started to fade.
Animal came into the ring, but the referee stopped him. Mutoh came in to stop Animal, and the referee turned around, pushing him to the back, as Animal took the opportunity to drop an elbow onto Chono's throat, breaking the STS! Chono turned around and started to crawl back to Mutoh, as Hawk slowly started to move toward Animal, the fans rallying him onward. Chono grabbed a hold of Hawk's foot and started to drag him to his feet, but Hawk decked Chono straight in the face, but Chono wouldn't let go of his leg. He tripped him down and went for a figure four, but Hawk shot him off straight into Mutoh's waiting hand.
Mutoh tagged in... and so did Animal! Animal charged into the ring like a wild bull and clotheslined Mutoh down not once, not twice, but three times! Chono came in and was taken down with a powerslam and rolled to the outside. Mutoh got back to his feet and was taken down with a full nelson slam, Animal covering. 1.... 2.... no! Mutoh kicked out of it. Animal tossed him to the ropes and launched him high into the air, crashing down with a sitdown powerbomb! 1.... 2.... NO! Mutoh was able to kick out of that one somehow! Animal then picked Mutoh up and held him in a vertical suplex, crashing down with a reverse jackhammer, driving Mutoh's face and stomach into the canvas!
Chono came from behind and locked in a sleeperhold, but Animal hit a jaw jacker on him, Hawk finally getting back up in the corner. Animal tossed Chono to Hawk, who hit a flapjack on Chono, Chono's face smacking the turnbuckle! Chono walked backwards into an electric chair face slam from Animal, then was kicked out of the ring. Animal focused his attention onto Mutoh who came up with a european uppercut to the jaw, rocking Animal back. He went for a superkick, but Animal caught his foot and hit a capture powerbomb! 1.... 2.... NO! Mutoh still kicked out somehow! Animal threw Mutoh outside the ring and came out after him, sending him back first into the post.
Hawk finally got back to his corner, trying to get some feeling back into his leg as Chono came from behind and chop blocked his leg from the floor, causing Hawk to fall to the mat, crashing to the floor. Chono then dragged him to the stairs and hit a knee breaker on the steps, doing MORE damage to the leg. On the other side, Animal hip tossed Mutoh back first into the steps, almost breaking his back, as Animal was pissed. He ran over to help Hawk, but Chono intercepted him with a flying shoulder block, hammering away on him. The referee lost all control of the match, ordering them to get back into the ring, but that didn't work. The referee got between Chono and Animal, which proved to be a bad idea as they both pushed him away.
Chono and Animal were hammering away on each other until Mutoh came from the other side and grabbed Animal, Chono getting free shots in on his chest and midsection. They hit a double superkick to Animal's face and rolled him into the ring, Mutoh following in, being the legal man. Chono tagged in, Mutoh leaving the ring to deal with Hawk on the outside. Chono picked Animal up and body slammed him hard, before climbing the top rope. He came off with a flying shoulder block, taking Animal down. 1.... 2.... no! Animal kicked out of it!
On the outside, Mutoh and Hawk were having a scuffle, Hawk ramming Mutoh's head into the apron before knocking him down with a clothesline. Back on the inside, Animal had regained control and placed Chono on the top rope, connecting with an uppercut that rocked Chono hard, before picking him up and placing him on his shoulder. He hit a super powerslam from the top rope, Chono being crushed in the center of the ring! 1.... 2.... NO! Holy shit, Chono kicked out of that? Animal couldn't believe it as he had taken complete control. The referee went to check on Chono as he was NOT moving at all.
Outside, Mutoh had blasted Hawk in the leg with a stiff dropkick, and connected with the Shining Wizard, the back of Hawk's head hitting the stairs! The crowd cringed at the brutality of that as Hawk may have been taken straight out, but Mutoh capped it off by hip tossing Hawk right into the motorcycles! The fans booed wildly at that, as Hawk was busted wide open from the Shining Wizard, laying in the wreck of the motorcycles. Mutoh grabbed a chair and went to finish him off, but Animal grabbed the chair from him, the two having a tug of war over it. Mutoh let go of the chair as the referee saw Animal with it and took the chair away from him, going to put it away. Mutoh then turned Animal around and blasted him in the face with ANOTHER chair, Animal turning around right into the Yakuza Kick! The referee saw nothing as Chono covered for 1.... 2.... 3-NO!!!
The fans exploded as Animal kicked out of it, Chono couldn't believe it! Hawk rose from the wreckage of the bikes and bumrushed the ring, taking Chono down with a massive spear! Mutoh came from behind and attempted to suplex him, but Hawk took him over with a snapmare and avalanched him in the corner. Hawk then climbed the top rope and went to fly, he came off with a flying clothesline, but Chono took him straight out of the air with a Yakuza Kick to the face, knocking Hawk CLEAN out! Animal was just getting to his knees as Chono and Mutoh hit the Blackout just in time, Chono getting the cover! 1.... 2.... 3!
"Ladies and gentlemen, here are your winners and STILL NWA World Tag Team Champions, Keiji Mutoh, and Masahiro Chono!"
Hawk and Animal were laid out in the middle of the ring as Chono and Mutoh reigned supreme over the tag team division, taking out the hometown heroes in front of 45,000 people. The boos rained down heavily, but they didn't care as their hands were raised in victory.
"Is there any team that can stop these guys, Gorilla?"
"It doesn't look that way, by hook or by crook, these guys continue to dominate the tag team division, and it looks like it's going to stay that way for a long, long time, Jesse."
They left the ring and just to add insult to injury, pulled out spray paint cans and tagged the motorcycles with "nWo", before finally leaving the arena, the fans in Chicago booing them wildly, but Chono and Mutoh didn't care. They walked in the champions, and once
