The DVD doesn't really 'explain' anything that it hasn't in the past, it talks more indepth of course but it does bounce around a bit. What I don't like is once you hit Wrestlemania 12 is just SKIMS the rest until you hit 26 which again they just gloss over. What I would have enjoyed was if it was indepth with every mania, what they were thinking, how they were booking, stuff like that with what they did with the first 10 manias. KIND of a let down DVD but I think it was more so just another DVD to add to the Wrestlemania collection. It was like releasing the 15-0 dvd just weeks before mania.

Hahaha! Iv been watching some videos of wrestlemania entrances this week! My god john cena had some god awful ones!! The gangster one!! Haha wtf was that! With the goofy hat and all!! Aw that made me laugh! There were some epic ones too! HHH epic king of kings one and undertakers entrance when he faced kane for first time! Not sure what to think of limp biscuit......was the video bad or were they getting booed? Ha nothing compares to cenas crappy mania entrances! I wonder what we get this year! Cena's entrance with the Mustang was pretty badass. So was the CeNation run, that was really cool. I personally liked the gangster one, I think just the special factor of "different" entrances just really make me smile, it shows that WWE go above and beyond just to make 'Mania special.

It just had nothing to do with Cena everything to try and get the people in Chicargo to cheer Cena.

Now that Wrestlemania is over, BM here to give my full analysis on Wrestlemania XXVII.
The Rock opening promo: Skip it. Seriously, they cut the US title match for this. Bull. Shit.
World Heavyweight Championship: Wait... THIS is the first match??? What the fuck happened to the winner of the Royal Rumble HEADLINING the fucking show? Are you SERIOUS? REALLY? I can't believe they put this match on first, this was utter fucking BULLSHIT. Anyway, all anger aside, this match was actually pretty good, but Edge REALLY doesn't have it anymore, and this match shows. He was slow-paced in it, and he took most of the beating. Edge wins with a spear, retains the title, Del Rio's push is probably over. 2.5/5
Cody Rhodes vs. Rey Mysterio: Rey Mysterio came out dressed as Captain America, which was fucking awesome, I marked out for it. This was one of the better matches on the card, as Rhodes and Mysterio really played on the psychology of the face mask and the knee brace in this one. Rhodes goes over by blasting Rey in the face with his own knee brace, then hitting the CrossRhodes for the three count. Good match, right guy went over. 3/5
8-man tag match: Sucked. 1/5
CM Punk vs. Randy Orton: I will just get this out of the way now... *enter mark mode* THE WRONG FUCKING PERSON WENT OVER IN THIS MATCH! TWO FUCKING MOVES FROM ORTON MAKES HIM WIN THIS MATCH? NO! BULLSHIT! TERRIBLE PSYCHOLOGY ON ORTON'S PART! *exit mark mode* This match was lackluster compared to what I expected it to be. These two SERIOUSLY could've put on a much, much, MUCH greater match than they did, but what really pisses me off is the psychology of the match. Punk did all the work, dished out all the offense, and Punk loses to two clotheslines, a powerslam, a spike DDT, an Angle Slam and the super RKO. Those were the ONLY moves Orton hit. Fuck this company. 2.5/5
Michael Cole vs. Jerry Lawler: This was actually far more entertaining than Bret/McMahon last year, and that's saying a lot. Michael Cole taps out, but the GM reverses the decision due to Austin's "blatant abuse of power". Fuck that shit. 1.5/5
The Undertaker vs. Triple H: Okay, how much fuckin' money did Vince McMahon shell out for the Metallica song? Triple H comes out looking like fucking Shao Kahn, the lights die, then he looks normal. REALLY badass entrance, I loved it. Undertaker's entrance was beautiful in its simplicity, but one thing ruined it: The theme song. Yep. That's his theme. Anyway, onto the match. This was nowhere near the calibur of HBK/Undertaker from the previous two years, but there were several spots where both guys could've been seriously hurt. I really hope that The Undertaker was working us on that injury at the end of the match, because he DID kinda take that Tombstone pretty bad. 'Taker wins with the gogoplata, although there were SEVERAL moments where I thought 'Taker would lose, especially after the 3rd Pedigree and the Tombstone. All in all though, best match of the night, but not stellar. 3.5/5
6-person intergender match: Fuck it. -5 STARS!
The Miz vs. John Cena: Miz's entrance was cool and arrogant, nothing too spectacular, but character-appropriate. His opening video was very well done. Also, we now know where the budget for MVP's air tunnel went: to Miz's "AWESOME!" blow up letters. Cena's entrance was fucking terrible all the way around the table, but I dig the new merchandise, the red, white, and blue is pretty neat. Other than that, this match pretty much sucked, for two reasons: One, it's John Cena. Two, they followed 'Taker/HHH. Sorry guys, you can't beat that. HOWEVER, the ending was fucking pitiful. A double count-out ending, which gets reversed by The Rock, only to have Rock screw Cena out of the belt, to which NO ONE CARES. Miz wins the belt, the fans are dead silent, and The Rock steals the spotlight, when it should be The Miz's moment to shine. Fuck you, Rock, and fuck you, Vince McMahon for allowing this debacle of a title match to end the show. 2/5
Overall: Decent Wrestlemania, it CERTAINLY did not feel like a Wrestlemania, especially with the weird match placement, the scrapping of the US Title match just so The Rock can steal the fucking glory from all the people who actually WORK in the business now. The set was VERY nice and elaborate, but compared to last year's set, it wasn't anything TOO grand. I loved the entrance ramp though. Nothing about this Wrestlemania was rememberable. 6/10
Best Match: Undertaker/Triple H Worst Match: REALLY? Does this NEED an answer? Loudest Pop: Stone Cold Steve Austin Quietest Moment: After Miz pins Cena, no one cares. Other quiet moments include 'Taker's entrance (but that was a GOOD quiet) and 'Taker being tended to on the outside, I REALLY hope that was a sell, because if he's legitimately hurt because of that Tombstone, HHH should feel pretty bad.

All I can say is I am happy I paid only 15 pounds (about 25-30 dollars) for this.
A few notes:
Undertaker and Triple H delivered great spots and drama but was a too slow paced. It was not Taker vs HBK level because it wasn't HBK. Wish we could have got more wrestling sequences like the one where they got back in the ring and ended with the snake eyes. The first half was kinda spot, recover, spot, recover. But overall great that Taker won and hope that the end was written.
Cody Rhodes and Rey was a great match and Cody was made tonight. He really shined.
The World title was a disapointment on everything accept in ring.
Getting Jr and King back was enough to over look a lot. I marked out.
The main event was just getting good when it ended. But...Miz did kick out of the AA. So that is something that boosted his credibility at least. The whole ending I liked because I called it in terms of the real money match we are going to have to wait at least half a year to a year for. Rock did kinda steel the spotlight but who can blame WWE, the crowd was dead for most the main event. Overall this felt like a Raw main event and was used to build to next Wrestlemania or Summerslam. Its fine to tell that story but at least give Miz and Cena their time. And Yeah Cena's entrance...he's a christain warrior now? Give me a break.
Overall I am far more happy with the results, sans the World title and Punk match, than the show itself. Some good stuff but really underdelivered in the ring.
5/10 Stars and thats being generous.

Come out of this I feel exactly like I did at Wrestlemania 25 with the thought of "That's It".
For me 25 and 27 were both very similar, going into the Mania's both had potential of being good, with Rhodes/Mysterio, Punk/Orton, Triple H/Taker and Cena/Miz being the best hyped matches. But after the event only two actually done anything close to delivering. Taker/Hunter which was an okay match but nothing too epic, everyone is saying well it ain't no HBK, WELL DUH! Hunter and HBK have two different styles of wrestling so how can you have the same match. Besides that it was an okay match, up there with Ric Flair at 18, nothing too special and you probably won't remember much of it but it just adds one more notch to the streak.
The only match the REALLY sold me as Mania was Rey/Rhodes. That was looking into NWA type matches, WOW, second on the card, honestly I think this should have been forth of fifth now after watching the match.
The last few years I have become more interested in use of staging and production looks, to be honest the Wrestlemania 27 stage is one of my least favorites, I get it was a dome because they were in the Georgia Dome, I get that but the huge Wrestlemania sign above it looked very tacky, the rampway looked god fucking awful with Wrestlemania just planted down on it, the entrance tunnel looked like TNA Impact, trust me it did! Overall the staging and production for This Mania was shit.
Although I do have a theory behind the Mania logo being all white and in the air, Who is hosting Wrestlemania?, The Rock, where has he been the last seven years?, Hollywood, What is the one thing that everyone remembers about Hollywood?, The fucking huge white Hollywood Logo. That right there destroyed any concept for me of Wrestlemania, because the ENTIRE focus was on Rock all night and that fucked me off BIGTIME!
Overall a so so Mania, I won't get pissed that certain people didn't win and the match card was out of order because for all we know they may have been a good reason why everything was changed at the last minute. There probably isn't but normally when a World Title match is early in the show something is up.
For me I will say 6/10, not the best Mania but not the worst, but then again you were in WCW country and well shit flies there when you have a big event, just look at January 4th 1999, just saying.

I kinda saw this Wrestlemania in parts because I tuned in toward the end of HHH-Taker, but from what I can gather from piecing everything together, is that this was more like a 3-Hour Raw. The way the matches were set up was just horrible, Your World Title Match with your Royal Rumble winner OPENS the show??? The US Title match is scrapped and turned into a Battle-Royal, just so The Rock can come out and ramble??? Now don't get me wrong, I like The Rock, but i'm getting tired of all of this"Team Bring It" and "Electrify This" and "Peoples Champ That" The Rock said that he did not think The Rock character would work in PG, and he was right. He just seems to be so watered down, and please drop the Fruity Pebble thing. Anyway his whole speech was basically an "Insert US Title Match Here" spot.
Del-Rio should have won, WWE killed his build-up.
Cody/Rey=Awesome Cody left looking very strong!
That stupid Corre match that should have been a main event on Superstars....Moving On.
Orton/Punk could have been better, but I know their time was cut really short, so they did the best they could. Also wish Punk would have won, it would have cemented him as a really strong Heel.
Cole/Lawler......Moving On
HHH-Taker Good match, kinda slow, but you could tell they are both injured. Interesting the way it ended though, made it look like Taker almost died. And I am just going to say it, First of all I am a HUGE Taker fan, but if HHH beat Taker that bad, then the Streak should have ended. As much as I don't want it to, after watching that match, I would believe it if HHH beat Taker last night. Kinda made Taker look really weak.
Why in the Hell is Snooki following HHH-Taker???
Cena-Miz nothing to write home about, Rock interfered who cares. The crowd was dead, The Rock got no real reaction when he slammed Cena, He stole Miz moment but still glad Miz won.
WWE hyped this this event like crazy, but did not deliver. The hype is actually getting bigger then the event itself. This did not feel like a Wrestlemania Overall: 2.5/5

I have not seen wrestlemania yet... . I was away. But i watched monday night raw today (I know im very behind) but WOW! That was a great raw! Loved HBK, HHH and taker promo. The last segment was awesome too! I really liked cena in that. He did a great job! Rock was a bit rusty fighting lol.....it was kinda funny. But thats to be expected and he was epic on the mic as usual . I thought this did not overshaddow anyone and rock, miz and cena all looked awesome! Got me hyped for mania! Im gonna watch that later.....have not heard much but i did hear taker got carried out by stretcher :/. I really hope that was him selling.....could be possibly starting to set up his retirement....maybe retiring at wrestlemania 28.

Yeah, but before he entered, during the Metallica part, he came out looking like fuckin' Shao Kahn. THAT was awesome.
Also, reports indicate that there were NO serious injuries after WrestleMania. This is good, I was actually worried about The Undertaker.
